        Allergic rhinitis is an allergic reaction characterized by sneezing, coughing, itchy nose, mouth and throat, congestion and/or nasal discharge. The offending allergens are usually pollens, molds, dust mites and animal allergens. We aimed to observe inhibitory effects of Bojungikgi-tang on incerase of the number of eosinophil and neutrophil, and protective effects of nasal mucosal tissue in the allergic rhinitis. 1. In Inhibitory Effect of Bojungikgi-tang on Increase of the number of Eosinophil in Serum, Bojungikgi-tang showed significant effects.(p〈0.05) 2. In Inhibitory Effect of Bojungikgi-tang on Increase of the number of Neutrophil in Serum, Bojungikgi-tang showed significant effects.(p〈0.05) 3. In histopathologic change of nasal mucosal tissue, Bojungikgi-tang showed significant protective effects. Depending upon above results, it is considered that Bojungikgi-tang has the inhibitory effects on the process of allergic rhinitis and that it could be used in reliving patients of the symptoms caused by allergic rhinitis.

        공공도서관 어린이 서비스의 현황 분석

        The purpose of this paper is to investigate the present stage of children's services of public library in Korea. Data were collected from 171 public libraries and analysed according to five aspects of library services; physical aspect, collection, human resources, user services, and management and program. The results shows that budget, human resources for children's services should be increased and every local library authority should be on an active and effective way to services.

        다원계 Zr합금에서 Sn첨가가 미세조직과 부식특성에 미치는 영향

        ZrNbFeCu-xSn 합금을 진공 아크 용해법으로 제조하여 $360^{\circ}C$의 물, $400^{\circ}C$의 수증기 및 36$0^{\circ}C$의 70ppm LiOH 분위기에서 부식실험을 실시하였으며, 시편의 미세구조는 광학현미경, SEM 및 TEM으로 관찰하였다. 36$0^{\circ}C$에서 210일까지 부식 실험한 결과 대부분의 합금이 천이 전 영역에서의 부식거동을 보였다. $400^{\circ}C$ 경우, 초기에는$ 360^{\circ}C$에서의 부식거동과 비슷한 경향을 보였으나 80일 이후부터는 천이현상이 발생하여 부식속도가 급격히 증가하는 경향을 나타내었는데, Sn량이 많을수록 보다 빠른 시간에 천이현상이 발생했다. LiOH 용액에서는 전반적으로 $400^{\circ}C$에서 보다 더 늦은 시간에 천이현상이 발생했다. 석출물은 Zr(Fe,Cu)$_2$나Zr(Fe,Cu)$_3$로 추정되는 성분을 가지지만, Sn의 증가에 따라 석출물의 조성이나 크기는 거의 변화가 없는 것으로 관찰되었다.

        The fatigue behavior of thermal butt fusion in safety class III high-density polyethylene (HDPE) buried piping for nuclear power plants was investigated using load-controlled bending fatigue on four-point bend test specimens. Based on the results, the presence of thermal butt fusion beads was confirmed to reduce the fatigue lifetime in the low- and medium-cycle fatigue regions while having a negligible effect in the high-cycle fatigue regions.

        압력용기강 용접 열영향부에서의 미세조직 및 기계적 물성 예측절차 개발 및 적용성 평가

        A prediction procedure has been developed to evaluate the microtructures and material properties of heat affected zone (HAZ) in pressure vessel steel weld, based on temperature analysis, thermodynamics calculation and reaction kinetics model. Temperature distributions in HAE are calculated by finite element method. The microstructures in HAZ are predicted by combining the temperature analysis results with the reaction kinetics model for austenite grain growth and austenite decomposition. Substituting the microstructure prediction results into the previous experimental relations, the mechanical material properties such as hardness, yielding strength and tensile strength are calculated. The prediction procedure is modified and verified by the comparison between the present results and the previous study results for the simulated HAZ in reactor pressure vessel (RPV) circurnferential weld. Finally, the microstructures and mechanical material properties are determined by applying the final procedure to real RPV circumferential weld and the local weak zone in HAZ is evaluated based on the application results.

      • 원전 역지 밸브/배관 맞대기 용접부와 밸브 몸체의 취성 파괴에 미치는 잔류응력 및 Charpy V-노치 충격에너지의 영향 고찰

        The study investigated effects of residual stresses and Charpy impact energy on brittle fractures of the butt weld between the valve and the piping, and of the valve body in nuclear power plants via a linear elastic fracture mechanics approach in the ASME B&PV Code, Sec.XI and finite element analysis. Weld residual stress in a butt weld between close check valve and piping, and residual stress in the valve due to casting process were assumed to be proportional to yield strength of base metal. Operating stresses in the butt weld and the valve body were calculated using approximate engineering formulae and finite element analysis, respectively. Applied stress intensity factors were calculated by assuming postulated cracks with specific sizes and then by substituting the residual stresses and the operating stresses into engineering formulae presented in the ASME B&PV Code, Sec.III. Plane strain fracture toughness was derived by using a correlation between Charpy V-notch impact energy and fracture toughness. Structural integrity of the weld and the body against brittle fracture was assessed by using the applied stress intensity factors, plane strain fracture toughness and the linear elastic fracture mechanics approach. As a result, it was identified that the structural integrity was maintained with decreasing the residual stress levels and increasing the Charpy V-notch impact energy.

        The purpose of this paper is to study the instructional contents and strategies for school library media specialist education in Korean Library and Information Science. The writer insist several aspects of instructional contents should be emphasized for relevant school library media specialist education. Instructional contents for philosophical and conceptual aspect of school library and media specialist, knowledge and experience for literature for children and young adult, and knowledge and technique for teaching and instruction at field are those. And the writer suggests LIS education for media specialist should be able to let the students stand on the strong professional sprit, help adapt themselves to school practice, and make them a professor of literature.

        고조파 제거 기능을 갖는 윌킨슨 전력분배기의 설계

        고조파를 제거하는 기능을 갖는 윌킨슨 전력분배기를 나타내었다. 종래의 윌킨슨 전력분배기에서 선로 변환기의 양단에 제거할 고조파의 수만큼의 전송선로를 추가한 후에 새로운 윌킨슨 전력분배기의 해를 구할 수 있다. 실험적인 결과는 기본 주파수에서는 종래의 기능을 유지하면서 2차 및 3차 고조파를 -45.3 dB, 및 -46.4 dB의 억압비를 나타내었다. A modified design that can reject the nth harmonic components in the Wilkinson power divider is presented. After adding transmission lines of electrical lengths determined by suppression terms between two transformers of the traditional design, a solution of the modified Wilkinson divider can be found. Experimental results show the second and third harmonic suppression to be -45.3 dB and -46.4 dB, respectively, while maintaining the conventional performance at the fundamental frequency.

        腋격의 病因.病機.治療에 對한 文獻的 考察

        Bromidrosis is a disease which is also called huchou[호격] in the oriental medicine. This disease produces an odor and a small amount of sweat from the axillary area. Prognosis of the disease could possibly get better with age. This can be explained by the fact that its symptoms begin usually when a person reaches puberty and as the person gets old, the symptoms reduce or disappear even when specific treatments are not applied. Although the disease is not lethal, many patients have difficulties in leading a normal and comfortable life, physically and psychologically with this in mind and some osbservations gained from the literature studies on the causes,symptoms, and treatments, I embarked on a study aimed at finding out the therapies. My study on the literature has produced the following results ; 1. In the oriental medicine, hu-chou[호격] means the characteric smell or odor produced from the fox. 2. The literature studies point out two causes in the oriental medicine. One is natural. The other is acquired. Acquired cases have the following causes: shi-re-nei-yun[濕熱內蘊]. xie-뱌-bu-huo[血氣不和], gan-qi-yu-jie[肝氣鬱結]. 3 There are two therapies in the oriental medicine. One is internal and the other external. out of the two, external therapies were mainly used according to the literature studies that I have consulted. 4. According to my study, the most frequently used herbal medicine was Alunitum(明 礬)(45 times), followed by Minium(密陀僧)(39 times) and Moschus(?香)(21 times respectively). 5. My study also found that bian-zheng[辨證] was not .rarely listed on old literatures. Therefore, old literatures did not clearly show how to root out the disease. They only taught now to alleviate the symptoms and remove the characteric odor.

      • 원전 기기 용접 잔류응력 평가 연구 고찰

        The paper investigates the previous studies about welding residual stresses in nuclear components. First, various residual stress measurement methods are reviewed in applicability. Second a finite element welding residual stress analysis technique, which was developed from the viewpoint of FFS (Fitness-For-Service) assessment, is explained. Third, characteristics of the welding residual stresses on J-groove welds and butt welds were presented via investigating the previous studies. Last, engineering formulae for residual stresses in the FFS assessment codes such as R6 and API 579/ASME FFS-1 Code is summarized.
