        스마트TV와, 스마트폰, 스마트 패드뿐만 아니라 다양한 가전 또한 컴퓨팅 기능과 네트워크 기능을 가져 스마트 가전으로 진화할 것으로 예상된다. 또한, 사용자는 스마트TV를 중심으로 다양한 스마트 장치를 연결하여 방송과 통신, 웹, 홈 네트워크가 결합된 멀티스크린 서비스를 요구하고 있다. 본고에서는 스마트TV 기반 멀티스크린 서비스에 필요한 적응형 콘텐츠 부호화 기술과 콘텐츠 전송을 위해 다중 네트워크를 동시에 이용하는 하이브리드 네트워크 스트리밍 기술, 웹 또는 홈 네트워크 환경에서 콘텐츠 및 서비스의 발견 및 제어 기술에 대해서 살펴본다.

        플라즈마 전해산화공정을 이용한 Mg<sub>95</sub>Zn<sub>4.3</sub>Y<sub>0.7</sub> 합금분말 성형체의 표면특성제어

        The investigation is to modify the mechanical and chemical properties of Mg alloys using a combination of rapid solidification and surface treatment. As the first approach, $Mg_{95}Zn_{4.3}Y_{0.7}$ was gas atomized and pressure sintered by spark plasma sintering process (SPS), showing much finer microstructure and higher strength than the alloys as cast. Further modification was performed by treating the surface of PM Mg specimen using Plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) process. During the PEO processing, MgO layer was initiated to form on the surface of Mg powder compacts, and the thickness and the density of MgO layer were varied with the reaction time. The thickening rate became low with the reaction time due to the limited diffusion rate of Mg ions. The surface morphology, corrosion behavior and wear resistance were also discussed.

        High temperature superconducting(HTS) power cable is expected to be used for power transmission lines supplying electric power for densely populated cities in the near future. Since HTS power cable is capable of the high current density delivery with low power loss, the cable size can be compact comparing with the conventional cable whose capacity is same. In this paper, the authors propose the real time simulation method which puts a teal HTS wire into the simulated 22.9 kV utility grid system using Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS). For the simulation analysis, test sample of HTS wire was actually manufactured. And the transient phenomenon of the HTS wire was analyzed in the simulated utility power grid. This simulation method is the world first trial in order to obtain much better data for installation of HTS power device into utility network.

        치주처치를 위한 기구들의 반복조작이 인공치관 변연부에 미치는 영향

        The aim of periodontal therapy is a removal of a bacterial plaque butthe instrumentation for plaque control has two nature : removal of a bacterial plaque and increase of surface roughness. Complication of instrumentation is enable to damage to the root surface and artificial crown. Therefore this study was conducted to evaluate the effects of repeated instrumentation on the marginal portion of artificial crown. Fifteen proximal surfaces of ten extracted periodontally diseased maxillary first molars were used. The finish line was placed on the root surface, and then the crown was casted and cemented in usual manner. Three kinds of instruments: hand curet, ultrasonic scaler, and ultrasonic curet were used. After instrumentation, final polishing was done with rubber cup and pumice. And surface changes were evaluated by stereomicroscope and scannig probe microscope. Roughness was increased after instrumentation in all groups, and was decreased after polishing except ultrasonic scaler group. Roughness in the ultrasonic scaler group was lower than others, and roughness after polishing in the hand curet group was lower than others. These results indicate that polishing procedure is recommended, because periodontalinstruments increase the surface roughness and induce the irreversible damage to the marginal portion.

        II형 무수석고 및 고유동화제 첨가가 시멘트 페이스트의 유동성에 미치는 영향

        II형 무수석고의 평균 입경과 치환율이 시멘트페이스트의 유동성에 미치는 영향에 대해 비교하였다. 나프탈렌계(NSF)와 폴리카르본산계(NT-2) 등 2가지 고유동화제의 첨가량을 0~2.0wt%으로 변화시켰을 때 3종으로 구분한 II형 무수석고의 평균입경(4, 14, $35{\mu}m$)과 치환율(3, 5, 10, 15wt%)의 변화에 따른 영향을 측정하였다. 이들 변수들에 따른 영향을 측정하기 위하여 시멘트페이스트의 초기 유동성 및 경과시간별로 겉보기 점도를 관찰하였다. 시멘페이스트의 초기유동성은 II형 무수석고의 평균입경에 의한 영향보다는 II형 무수석고의 치환율 증가에 의한 영향이 더욱 큰 것으로 나타났다. II형 무수석고의 치환율을 10wt%로 고정시 NT-2, 1.0wt% 첨가로 시멘트페이스트의 유동성은 동일 첨가량의 NSF보다 크게 향상되었다. 이는 측정된 변수들의 범위 중에서 가장 우수한 시멘트 페이스트의 유동성을 보여주는 경우이다. NT-2, 1.0wt% 첨가에서 II형 무수석고의 치환율 증가에 따라 시멘트 페이스트의 겉보기 점도가 현저하게 감소되었다. 이로부터 시멘트 페이스트의 유동성 향상을 위해서는 NT-2의 첨가와 더불어 시멘트를 II형 무수석고로 일정비율 치환하는 것이 더욱 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. A comparative study on the effects of mean particle diameter and substitutional ratio of II-anhydrite on the fluidity of cement paste has been conducted. Three different mean particle diameters(4, 14 and $35{\mu}m$) and four different substitution ratios(3, 5, 10, 15wt%) have been tested while the dosage of two superplasticizers - naphtalenic(NSF) and polycarboxylic(NT-2) - has been varied from 0 to 2.0wt%. To investigate the effects of those parameters, the variation in fluidity and apparent viscosity of the cement paste has been observed as a function of the elapsed time. The initial fluidity of the cement paste is more affected by the increase in substitution ratio than by the mean particle size of the II-anhydrite. When the substitution ratio of the II-anhydrite is fixed at 10wt%, addition of 1.0wt% NT-2 improves the fluidity of paste cement more than that for NSF. This case has showed the best improvement of the fluidity in the range of parameters investigated. At the addition of 1.0wt% NT-2, apparent viscosity of the cement paste has been noticeably decreased as substitutional ratio of II-anhydrite increases. It was found that it would be more effective to substitute II-anhydrite at a certain ratio to improve the fluidity of the cement paste, in addition to adding NT-2.

        Endovascular Treatment of Symptomatic Basilar Artery Stenosis

        Purpose: While symptomatic basilar artery (BA) stenosis is associated with a higher risk of recurrent stroke or death, there is no consensus on the management of these patients who are refractory to antiplatelet therapy. This study retrospectively assesses the outcomes of endovascular treatment (EVT) for symptomatic BA stenosis.Materials and Methods: We conducted a retrospective review of patients with symptomatic BA stenosis who underwent EVT, including angioplasty or stenting, from 2006 to 2018. A total of 15 patients, who experienced transient ischemic attacks or strokes despite dual antiplatelet therapy, were included. EVT was performed under local anesthesia after pretreatment with antiplatelet medications. Angiographic follow-up was performed at 12 and 24 months post-EVT. Clinical outcomes were evaluated using the modified Rankin Scale (mRS).Results: EVT was successfully completed in all patients. Peri/post-procedural complications occurred in 33% of cases, including in-stent thrombosis, intracranial hemorrhage, and pontine infarction. At long-term follow-up (mean 98.5±80.5 months), 73.3% of patients achieved a favorable functional outcome (mRS≤2) without disability or mortality. Patients with unfavorable outcomes had previous infarcts, with 2 experiencing new pontine infarctions after stenting.Conclusion: This study suggests that EVT, including angioplasty and stenting, may offer promise as a treatment option for symptomatic BA stenosis refractory to medical therapy. However, the procedure carries a notable risk of complications, especially in patients with severe stenosis and previous infarcts. Careful patient selection, based on clinical and radiological criteria, is crucial.

        Spark plasma sintering에 의한 Ti-6Al-4V 합금분말의 성형성

        Using spark plasma sintering process (SPS), Ti-6Al-4V alloy powders were successfully consolidated without any contamination happened due to reaction between the alloy powders and graphite mold. Variation of microstructure and mechanical properties were investigated as a function of SPS temperature and time. Compared with hot isostatic pressing (HIP), the sintering time and temperature could be lowered to be 10 min. and $900^{\circ}C$, respectively. At the SPS condition, UTS and elongation were about 890 MPa and 24%, respectively. Considering the density of 98.5% and elongation of 24%, further improving the tensile strength would obtain by increasing the SPS pressure.

        선원유관단체의 선원 보건의료실태 인식도 조사

        이 연구는 선내의료 및 선원 건강관리 여건 개선 방안을 마련하기 위하여 선원 건강관리 정책에 영향을 미치는 정부를 비롯한 선원 유관단체 종사자 139명을 대상으로 선원들의 건강과 질병관리에 대한 보건의료실태에 대한 인식도 조사를 실시하였다. 조사결과 선원들의 건강관리여건(p<0.01)과 건강관리 능력(p<0.01), 현행의 무선응급의료 정책(p<0.01), 선내 의료함 및 의료장비의 도움(p<0.05) 및 선박 의료관 리자 제도에 대해 유관기관 간에 인식도 차이는 있었으나 대체적으로 부정적인 응답률이 높았으며, 선원 건강관리를 위한 선내의료 지원제도 개선을 위해서는 간이 건강측정장비 비치, 정기적 건강검진 강화, 원격의료 및 건강관리를 위한 선원건강증진센터의 설치(p<0.01)가 시급히 필요하다고 조사되었다. This research was conducted to provide an improvement plan concerning medical treatment on board and medical health care conditions for seafarers. 139 persons from government agencies and seafarer related organizations, who could influence the government’s seafarers healthcare policy-making, were asked to fill in the questionnaire prepared for this research about their perceptive views on actual condition of health and disease management for seafarers. The results of the survey on seafarer’s health care management conditions(p<0.01), health care manage ability(p<0.01), current radio emergency medical service policy(p<0.01), usefulness of on board medicine chest and medical equipment(p<0.05), and the system of the onboard medical care persons show the difference of perception level among the seafarer related organizations. But generally, the rate of negative responses was high. And this research suggests that there is an urgent need to provide portable health measurement equipment on board, reenforce regular medical examination and establish the seafarer’s health promotion center for telemedicine and healthcare management(p<0.01) in order to improve the onboard medical treatment support system for healthcare of seafarers.
