지구의 오존층 보호를 위해 폐기되는 <TEX>$CF_3Br$</TEX>재활용을 위해 <TEX>$CF_3Br$</TEX>을 원료로 <TEX>$CF_3I$</TEX>와 <TEX>$C_2F_5I$</TEX>의 합성연구를 수행하였다. 실험실규모의 <TEX>$CF_3$I</TEX>와 <TEX>$C_3F_5I$</TEX>의 합성실험장치에서 CuI, Kl, <TEX>$K_2CO_3$</TEX>, KF등의 금속염을 활성탄과 알루미나에 담지시킨 촉매를 사용하여 <TEX>$400~600^{\circ}C$</TEX>에서 반응을 실시하였다. 반응실험 결과 주생성물은 <TEX>$CF_3I$</TEX>와 <TEX>$C_2F_5I$</TEX> 이며 미량의 <TEX>$C_2F_6$</TEX>, <TEX>$CF_4$</TEX>, <TEX>$CF_2Br_2$</TEX>등도 생성되었다. <TEX>$CF_3I$</TEX>합성촉매로는 활성탄에 7.5wt% KI와 <TEX>$K_2CO_3$</TEX>를 담지시킨 것이 가장 우수한 성능을 나타내었으며 <TEX>$C_2F_5I</TEX> 의 합성촉매로는 알루미나에 7.5wt% Cul를 담지시킨 것이 가장 우수하였다. 또한 최적 반응온도는 <TEX>$500^{\circ}C$</TEX> 부근이었다. The synthesis of <TEX>$CF_3$I</TEX> and <TEX>$C_2F_5I</TEX> from <TEX>$CF_3Br$</TEX> was studied for the reuse of <TEX>$CF_3Br$</TEX> which is abolished to save the ozone layer of the earth. Reaction experiments were carried out in experimental scale synthesis equipment with catalysts, such as CuI, Kl, <TEX>$K_2$</TEX><TEX>$CO_3$</TEX>, KF metal salt/active carbon and alumina support at <TEX>$400~600^{\circ}C$</TEX>. Main products of reaction were <TEX>$CF_3i$</TEX> and <TEX>$C_2F_5I$</TEX> with small amounts of <TEX>$C_2F_5I$</TEX>, <TEX>$CF_4$</TEX>, <TEX>$CF_2Br_2$</TEX> by-products. 7.5wt% KI and <TEX>$K_2CO_3$</TEX>over activated carbon catalysts show the highest yield of <TEX>$CF_3$</TEX>I and 7.5wt% CuI over alumina catalysts show the highest yield of <TEX>$C_2F_5i$</TEX>. And optimal reaction temperature was about <TEX>$500^{\circ}C$</TEX>.

몬트리올 의정서에 의해서 규제받는 CFCs와 Halon의 대체 물질인 HFC-23, HFC-125, HFC-227ea, HFC-236fa와 불활성 화합물 Ar, N₂, CO₂의 열역학적 물성인 포화압력, 밀도, 엔탈피, 점도를 비교하였다. 본 연구에서는 소화제의 물성을 문헌값을 온도의 함수로서 표시하였다. HFC화합물의 열역학적 물성은 Halon-1301과 비슷하게 나타내었다. 불활성 화합물은 주로 혼합물로 이용되지만, 불활성 화합물의 물성은 Halon-13O1에 비하며 바람직하지 않았다. For CFCs and Halons regulated by Montreal Protocol and their alternatives of HFC-23, HFC-125, HFC-227ea, HFC-236fa and the mixtures of inert gases of Ar, N₂ and CO₂, the thermodynamic properties of saturated pressure, density, enthalpy and viscosity were compared. In this study, the data from literature were expressed as a function of temperature. Thermodynamic properties of HFC compounds were similar to those of Halon-1301. Inert gas was mainly used as a mixture, but the physical properties of the inert gas does not have the favorable advantages over those of Halon-1301.
전자전용 광대역 평면형 능동위상배열 안테나 시스템 개발

This paper describes the development and measurement results of a wide-band planar active phase array antenna system for an electronic warfare jamming transmitter. The system is designed as an 8×8 triangular lattice array using a 45° slant wide-band antenna. The 64-element transmission channel is composed of a wide-band gallium nitride(GaN) solid state power amplifier and a gallium arsenide(GaAs) multi-function core chip(MFC). Each GaAs MFC includes a true-time delay circuit to avoid a wide-band beam squint, a digital attenuator, and a GaAs drive amplifier to electronically steer the transmitted beam over a ±45° azimuth angle and ±25° elevation angle scan. Measurement of the transmitted beam pattern is conducted using a near-field measurement facility. The EIRP of the designed system, which is 9.8 dB more than the target EIRP performance(P), and the ±45° azimuth and ±25° elevation beam steering fulfill the desired specifications.
