본고의 목적은 이중언어강사들의 역할 수행 실태와 문제점을 살펴본 후 개선방안에 대해 논의하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 초 중 고등학교 이중언어강사를 대상으로 설문조사와 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 조사 결과에 의하면 이중언어강사는 본래의 담당 교과인 이중언어교육보다 다문화교육을 더 많이 담당하고 있는 것으로 파악된다. 이중언어강사들은 교재와 학습 자료의 부재, 교수법에 대한 지식 부족, 일반 교사 및 관리자와의 관계, 고용불안정으로 인한 불안 등의 어려움을 겪고 있으며, 그럼에도 불구하고 자신이 이중언어강사라는 점에는 보람과 가치를 느끼는 것으로 파악되었다. 이를 바탕으로 앞으로 개선해 나가야 할 점에 대해 몇 가지 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 근본적으로 이중언어강사 양성은 해당 시도교육청 내 일선 학교에 대한 충분한 현황 파악이 있은 후 진행되어야 한다. 둘째, 이중언어강사의 현장 배치 역시 다문화 학생 재학 현황 및 필요한 지원 언어 등에 대한 수요 파악 후 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 이중언어교육을 위한 교재와 교수학습 자료 개발 및 공유 방안이 필요하다. 넷째, 다문화 가정 학부모와 이중언어강사가 연계된 프로그램 개발을 통해 학부모로서의 경험을 공유할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 다섯째, 일반 교사와 관리자, 신규 교사를 위한 연수 및 재교육 프로그램에 이중언어교육의 필요성 및 이중언어강사 제도에 대한 이해를 도모할 수 있는 강좌를 구성해야 한다. 여섯째, 이중언어강사의 재교육 강좌도 더욱 다듬고 개발하여 교육의 질을 높일 수 있는 다양하고 깊이 있는 내용으로 진행되어야 한다. 마지막으로 고학력 결혼이주여성의 사회 참여 기회 확대 및 자원 활용 차원에서 이중언어교육 및 이중언어강사 제도를 활용할 가능성도 모색되어야 할 것이다. The objectives of this study is assessing the role fulfillment of bilingual instructors, finding some issues, and suggesting developmental alternatives for making best use of instructors. In order to do these research objectives, the author conducted questionnaires and interviews to bilingual instructors in elementary schools, middle schools and high schools. The results of the methods show that bilingual instructors take on more classes in the areas of multi-cultural education than bilingual education which is their original area of responsibilities. This situation has caused many problems; lack of textbooks and teaching materials, insufficient knowledge on teaching method, uncomfortable relationship with other full-time teachers and managers, unstable employment and anxiety. However, many bilingual instructors see that their roles are important and valuable despite all those problems they have to take on. Having assessed current situation of bilingual instructors, the author suggests several alternatives for better uses of bilingual instructors. In order to have good plans for providing bilingual instructors, sufficient reality-checks over all schools in a jurisdiction of municipal or provincial Office of Education should be done in the first place. Second, placement of bilingual instructors need to reflect the educational demands such as number of multi-cultural students and need of certain language education. Third, there are needs in development of teaching materials and textbooks and ways of sharing of those materials and information. Fourth, it is very recommendable to have a program connecting bilingual instructors with parents of multi-cultural students considering the importance of sharing educational experience as parents of bilingual students. Fifth, classes that focus on the need of bilingual education should be included in job training classes for incumbent full-time teachers, managers and incoming teachers. Sixth, better re-training programs for instructors are needed in order to enhance educational quality. Finally, providing employment opportunity for married immigrant women with higher education as instructors would be a good option since it is also a good alternative for social engagement aspect as well as bilingual education.
「2012 한국어 교육과정」과 「2017 개정 한국어 교육과정」 비교 분석 및 시사점

The objects of this study is comparative analysis of 2012 and 2017 KSL Curriculum for students who have multi-cultural backgrounds. The author focuses on the educational goals, target students, educational contents, and achievement standards of each curriculum. The analysis confirms that there have been some changes from 2012 curriculum to 2017 curriculum; putting more emphasis on linguistic characteristics of KSL students, redefinition of academic Korean language, elaboration of educational components of the programs, emphasizing cultural areas of KSL education, and expansion of linguistic materials. With this analysis, the author suggests that there is a need to study for finding alternatives of connecting KSL subjects and other academic subjects, elaborating achievement standards for linguistic capabilities levels, suggesting teaching methods, evaluation methods, and measures for enhancing teachers capacity.

This study aims to analyze the research trends of Korean language educations in India. For this end, the author looks at the history and the present state of Korean language education in India. After that the author collects dissertations and studies dealing with India's Korean language educations and analyzes research themes of them. As a result, the author finds out that studies dealing with teaching methods cover the majority of the pool while curriculum, textbooks, learner’s language, contrastive analysis are the minor research area of the pool. From the perspective of contents studies, there are several researches deal with vocabulary, grammar, speaking, writing and culture. The author argues that there should be thorough analysis regarding current status of Korean language education in India. The author also emphasize that contrastive analysis between Korean and Indian language is needed. If researches regarding technical side of language education, non-language components, learner’s language, and teachers issues are conducted.

This paper is to propose a scalable video coding scheme for adaptive digital hologram video service for various reconstruction environments. It uses both the light source information and digital hologram at both the sending side and the receiving side. It is a resolution-scalable coding method that scales the resolution, that is, the size of the reconstructed image. The method compresses the residual data for both the digital hologram and the light source information. For the digital hologram, a lossy compression method is used, while for the light source information, a lossless compression method is used. The experimental results showed that the proposed method is superior to the existing method in the image quality at the same compression ratio. Especially it showed better performance than the existing method as the compression ratio becomes higher.

This study analyzes research trends of literacy studies in the area of Korean language education. The author categorizes total sixty-two research articles by times, objects, and literacy types. Then, the author evaluates the achievements and aspects of them. As a result, the author identifies that there has been a continuous increase of literacy studies since the first literacy study had been published in 2007. The author also finds that most of the studies dealt with college students' cases. As for the type, cultural literacy studies was the most popular subject while there have been steady increases in academic and multilateral literacy studies. The author argues that there is a need to expand literacy research which can deal with parent cases, occupational literacy for adult and bilingual literacy for oversea Korea and KSL students. The result of this study can be served as a basic information for literacy concept development, teaching item design, and devising of learning activities.
문식성 연구 동향 분석과 향후 과제 -지난 25년간(1996~2021)의 학위논문을 중심으로-

This study delves into the issue of literacy research outcomes by reviewing academic thesis. The author extracts 301 dissertations from keyword search in RISS and categorizes the studies with the criteria of time, research area, research objects, and literacy types. After analyzing the trends and research issues, the author produces the following evaluations; The number of academic thesis dealing with literacy have been growing from 1990s when there were only three academic thesis in that era. Korean language education, art education, KSL, and early childhood education are the main areas that produced literacy research. From the standpoint of research objects, primary school students were the most studied groups for literacy research. As for literacy types, visual literacy, basic literacy and media literacy were popular research subjects and there are growing numbers of studies that deal with academic literacy, cultural literacy and critic literacy. The author concludes that there is a need to expand literacy research areas encompassing family, workplace, and community. Also, the authors argues that multilateral literacy research based on various media should be done in the future.

The aim of this study is to analyze the aspects of a presentation as demonstrated by foreign undergraduate students. The focus of the analysis is to find out if there are weaknesses in the manner the students give a presentation and to provide suggestions on which aspects of the presentation require reinforcement. From the results of the analysis, the author is able to provide several educational implications. First, instructors need to teach the importance of clarifying the genres of an official oral presentation and the ways of signaling them. Second, instructors need to emphasize the teaching of both linguistic and non-linguistic aspects of an oral presentation. In addition, sufficient practice should be seriously undertaken in order to achieve fluency in giving a presentation. Third, instructors should teach the students how to use complementary visual materials in organizing the presentation contents. Lastly, they need to teach crucial concepts and how to select contents to include in a presentation based on their areas of specialization. In so doing, the students will learn the important aspects of a good presentation; identify appropriate contents to include; and demonstrate the official way of presenting orally.
미국 ESL 교육과정 WIDA 고찰을 통한 KSL 한국어 교육과정 개선 방향 탐색

American ESL curriculum, WIDA, introduced in 2004 have been revised twice in 2007 and 2012. The fundamental objective of WIDA is improving academic language fluency in the context of school life and curriculum of certain grade. Therefore, WIDA emphasizes extracting themes, genres, cognitive functions, and socio-cultural contexts of other curricula for ESL educational contents. For this end, WIDA provides educational goals of every grade in elementary and middle school ESL programs while introducing two grade clusters goals in High School programs. Meanwhile, 2012 WIDA elucidates that ESL curriculum should be helpful in preparing college education and job preparation and it can be applied in various forms. This study proposes future directions of KSL curriculum based on the analysis of current status and past evolutionary paths of American ESL curriculum. There is a need to revise grade clusters of KSL system. Contents of KSL texts should be elaborated reflecting fluency criteria of each grade. Consensus should be made regarding how much contents of other curriculum need to be imported KSL curriculum. Guidance for KSL teachers should be provided because they need to have opportunities in mastering theories and practices of contents-based KSL education. Lastly, there is a need for discussion on the way of projecting cultural aspects to KSL contents.
학업중단 청소년의 스마트폰 중독이 우울과 충동성의 발달궤적에 미치는 영향

This study examined the developmental trajectory of depression and impulsivity of school dropout adolescents, and verified the effects of smartphone addiction on the trajectory of depression and impulsivity. The data from the 2nd (2014) to 5th (2017) years of the National Youth Policy Institute's Study of School Dropout Panel data were analyzed with the usage of latent growth model. The results are as follows. First, the depression of school dropout adolescents did not change, the impulsivity decreased as time goes by. Second, the smartphone addiction did not affect depression of school dropout adolescents. However, smartphone addiction of school dropout adolescents had a direct effect on both the initial value of impulsivity and the rate of change of school dropout youth. The higher level of addiction of smartphones, the higher the impulsivity was appeared. Additionally, the smartphone addiction was negatively significant in the rate of change of the impulsivity of school-dropout adolescents. That means the impulsiveness of school dropout adolescents with high level of smartphone addiction decreases more slowly than that of school dropout adolescents with low level of smartphone addiction. Based on results, implications for characteristics over time and directions of smartphone addiction intervention of school dropout youth were presented.
마음챙김이 중학생의 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향: 정서인식명확성과 심리적 수용의 다중매개효과

The purpose of this study is to verify the simple and sequential multiple mediating effects of emotional clarity and psychological acceptance in the effects of mindfulness on the psychological well-being of middle school students. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 405 middle school students in Seoul, and analyzed with the SPSS/WIN 22.0 Process Macro program. As a result of the analysis, in the simple mediation model, emotional clarity and psychological acceptance showed partial mediating effects respectively, and in the multi mediation model, it was confirmed that mindfulness had an effect on psychological well-being through emotional clarity and psychological acceptance in turn. This study is meaningful in that it has played a role in examining the relevance of the above 4 variables simultaneously, exploring subtle differences in the concepts of mindfulness and psychological acceptance, and suggested an application method to improve the well-being of adolescents.
