제국과 친일문학의 생명정치 논리 -김동인의 《매일신보》에 실린 논설과 해방 이후 소설을 중심으로-

본 논문은 김동인의 친일문학에 내재된 생명정치 권력의 작동방식과 제국의 논리와 공조되는 협력 논리 비판을 목적으로 한다. 친일문학은 일본제국주의의 통치 논리를 내면화한 집단적 질병이었다. 조국의 근대화에서 협력의 정당성을 찾고, 아시아 국가들의 현실에서 대동아전쟁의 필요성을 찾았고, 이를 위해 문학이 제국의 정치에 복종하는 것을 정당화했기 때문이다. 즉 조국근대화라는 형식논리는 생명정치적 제국주의의 논리에 전유된 채 ‘국민문학’을 파생시켰다. ‘국민문학’은 비극적 근대화 논리에서 파생한 비극적 오답이었다. 특히 김동인은 조선 인민을 일본 제국의 신민으로 포함시키고, 문학의 역할을 서양 열강에 대항하는 제국의 선전 선동의 도구로 전락시켰다. 이광수, 최재서를 비롯한 당대의 문인들이 일본의 대동아전쟁의 필요성에 동조하고 협력하면서 전향을 하게 된 이유는 구조적으로 작동한 제국의 생명정치적 통치 방식에 포섭되었기 때문이다. 억압과 통제의 방식이 아니라 포함과 배제의 방식으로 작동하는 제국의 논리에 조선의 문인들은 ‘내선일체’와 ‘황국신민화’를 반복적으로 서술한다. 일종의 고해성사와 다르지 않은 고백의 행위는 권력의 메커니즘을 내면화하고 이를 자기성찰의 원리로 삼음으로써, 지배 권력의 영속적이고 정신적인 지배를 강화하는 방식으로 작동되었다. 1940년대에 들어 《매일신보》에 실린 김동인의 논설들은 일본의 대동아공영권이라는 허상에 문학이 선전 선동의 친위대가 되어야 한다는 논리를 반복하고 있다. 해방 이후 발표한 소설들에서 ‘국민문학’에 대한 비판으로 돌아서기는 했지만 그 논리들은 해방 이후 자기변호가 가능한 시기에 창작되었고, ‘일본 정신’과 일본 문화를 세계적 문화로 양양(昂揚)하는 ‘국책’의 지향과 다르지 않은 점, 인물의 자유주의적 정신보다 국가를 위해 개인의 일생을 봉사(奉仕)한다는 전체주의에 경도되어 있다는 점 등 신체제문학의 한 사례로 읽히기에 충분한 이유들을 가지고 있다. 김동인이 일제 말기 《매일신보》에 발표했던 논설들은 억압과 강압에 의한 논리가 아니라, 식민지 근대화론을 스스로 수용하고 그것이 조선 인민의 이익에 도움이 된다는 자기 논리에 의한 것이었다. 이는 동화가 아니라 자기화에 가깝다. 이와 같은 논의를 통해 본 논문은 제국의 생명정치적 통치술과 여기에 동조한 김동인의 글에 나타난 논리적 유사성을 밝힘으로써 김동인의 친일문학인 ‘어쩔 수 없음’이 아니라 ‘그렇게 될 수밖에 없음’에 가깝다는 것을 밝히려 한다. This thesis was written to criticize the working method of the biopolitical power inherent in Kim Dong-in's pro-Japanese literature and the logic of cooperation between Kim Dong-in and other pro-Japanese writers who sympathized with it. Pro-Japanese literature was a collective disease that internalized the logic of Japanese imperialism. This is because the modernization of the motherland found the legitimacy of cooperation and the necessity of the Great East Asian War in the reality of Asian countries, and for this purpose, literature justified submission to imperial politics. 'National Literature' was a tragic incorrect answer derived from the tragic logic of modernization. In particular, Kim Dong-in included the Korean people as subjects of the Japanese Empire, and reduced the role of literature as an instrument of imperial propaganda and propaganda against Western powers. The reason why writers of the day, including Lee Kwang-soo and Choi Jae-seo, agreed to and cooperated with the necessity of the Great East Asian War in Japan and turned to change because the empire's biopolitical governance system was operating structurally. In the logic of the empire that operates not in the way of repression and control, but in the way of inclusion and exclusion, the literary men of Joseon repeatedly describe the ‘Naseon Integral’ and ‘The Myth of the Emperor’. The act of confession, which is no different from a kind of sacrament of confession, was operated in a way that strengthened the permanent and spiritual domination of the ruling power by internalizing the mechanism of power and making it the principle of self-reflection. This thesis attempts to reveal that the empire's biopolitical governance and the logical similarities shown in Kim Dong-in's writings, which sympathized with it, are closer to the “unavoidable”, not “unavoidable” of Kim Dong-in's pro-Japanese literature. To this end, Dong-in Kim's editorials in Maeil Shinbo and novels published after liberation will reveal Kim Dong-in's contradictions.

Complete genome sequence of Flavobacteriaceae strain KCTC 52651 isolated from seawater recirculating aquaculture system

Flavobacteriaceae 과에 속하는 신균주인 RR4-38(= KCTC 52651 = DSM 108068)가 한국의 해수 순환여과양식시스템의 생물여과조에서 분리되었다. 41.9%의 G+C 함유량을 가진 3,182,272 bp의 길이의 하나의 완전한 유전체 컨티그가 PacBio RS II를 이용하여 얻어졌다. 이 유전체는 2,829개의 단백질 암호화 유전자와 6개의 rRNA 유전자, 38개 tRNA 유전자, 4개의 ncRNA 유전자, 9개의 유사유전자를 포함하고 있다. 이 결과는 해수 순환여과양식시스템에서 미생물의 활성을 이해하는데 통찰력을 줄 것이다. A novel bacterium, designated strain RR4-38 (= KCTC 52651 = DSM 108068), belonging to the family Flavobacteriaceae was isolated from a biofilter in the seawater recirculating aquaculture system in South Korea. A single complete genome contig which is 3,182,272 bp with 41.9% G+C content was generated using PacBio RS II platform. The genome includes 2,829 protein-coding genes, 6 rRNA genes, 38 tRNA genes, 4 non-coding RNA genes, and 9 pseudogenes. The results will provide insights for understanding microbial activity in the seawater recirculating aquaculture system.

자동차 인스트루먼트 패널에 사용되는 플라스틱의 온도와 시간에 따른 기계적 거동을 알아보기 위해 시편에 대한 인장 및 크리프 시험을 수행하였다. 여러 가지 온도에서의 물성치를 구한 결과 온도에 따라 물성치가 크게 변화함을 알 수 있었다. 4 가지 하중조건하에서의 3 점굽힘 크리프시험을 수행하고 지수법칙의 시간경화식을 적용하여 각종 계수를 구하고 크리프 거동을 간단한 식으로 표현하였다. 유한요소 크리프 해석 결과 하중이 커짐에 따라 수치해석 결과와 실험 결과가 차이가 커지지만 대체적으로 두 결과가 유사한 것을 확인할 수 있었다. Tensile and creep tests were performed at various temperatures to investigate the mechanical properties of plastics used in automotive instrument panels. Mechanical properties such as Young’s modulus and Poisson’s ratios changed markedly with the test temperature. Three-point bending creep tests were performed for three kinds of plastics under four loading conditions. Coefficients in the time-hardening power law creep equation were obtained from the experiment, and the creep behavior was represented by a simple expression. The results of finite element creep analysis showed good agreement with the experimental results, while the difference between the numerical and experimental results increased with the load.

Complete genome of a denitrifying Halioglobus sp. RR3-57 isolated from a seawater recirculating aquaculture system

Halioglobus sp. RR3-57는 해수순환여과양식시스템의 생물여과조에서 순수분리되었으며, PacBio RS II 서열분석법을 이용하여 전체 유전체 서열이 해독되었다. 그 결과 길이 4,847,776 bp, G+C함량 57.5%인 염색체와 155,799 bp, 53.2%인 플라스미드로 구성된 유전체 서열을 획득하였다. 유전체 분석결과 탈질작용에 관련된 18개의 유전자와 불완전한 프로파지(prophage)로 추정되는 유전자서열이 확인되었다. Halioglobus sp. RR3-57 was isolated from a biofilter of a seawater recirculating aquaculture system and its complete genome sequence was obtained using the PacBio RS II platform. Two circular contigs were assembled and considered as a chromosome and a plasmid (size of 4,847,776 bp and 155,799 bp, and G+C content of 57.5% and 53.2%, respectively). Genomic analysis showed RR3-57 had 18 denitrification-related genes and an incomplete prophage.

In this paper, direct power control system for three-phase PFC AC/DC converter without the source voltage sensors is proposed. The sinusoidal input current and unity effective power factor are realised based on the estimated flux in the observer. Both active and reactive power calculated using estimated flux. The estimation of flux is performed based on the reduced-order virtual flux observer using the actual currents and the command control voltage. Moreover, source voltage sensors are replaced by a estimated flux. DC output voltage has been compensated by DC output ripple voltage estimation algorithm. The active and reactive powers estimation are performed based on the estimated flux and Phase angle. The proposed algorithm is verified through simulation and experiment.

In high speed $CO_2$ welding, it has been blown to produce no sound bead with undercut or humping bead. In this study welding phenomena through synchronized high speed camera and output welding voltage and current waveform has been analyzed. For the purpose to improve a welding bead, effect of short circuit current rise slope has been examined. With commercial power source it was produced no sound bead by instantaneous short circuit, long arc period and stubbing at welding speed 2.5mm/min Humping bead or undercut were showed by instantaneous short circuit and long arc period. Also, the weld bead was not formed during the long short circuit period after stubbing start and long arc extinguishment period after wire sticking by failure of arc regeneration, because the droplet was not transferred to weld pool. With increasing short circuit current rise slope the frequency of stubbing was decreased and the normal short circuit rate was increased. A control of short circuit current rise slope was effective factor in high speed welding.

노드의 속성을 고려한 효율적인 TICC(Time Interval Clustering Control) 알고리즘에 관한 연구

한정된 용량의 배터리에 의존하는 MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Network)에서는 에너지 효율을 높이기 위한 다양한 클러스터링 기법과 라우팅 알고리즘이 연구되고 있다. 일반적으로 무선 Ad-hoc 네트워크에서는 LEACH와 같은 클러스터 기반의 동적 라우팅 알고리즘이 많이 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 클러스터 내의 각 노드가 가지는 속성을 고려하여 클러스터를 생성하고 노드를 관리하는 TICC(Time Interval Clustering Control) 알고리즘 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 TICC은 노드의 속성 중의 하나인 베터리 값 즉 에너지 값으로 노드의 에너지 레벨을 분류한다. 그리고 분류된 에너지 레벨에 대응하는 시간차 컨트롤 기법을 이용하여 클러스터링 과정을 수행하거나 노드들을 관리한다. 특히 제안한 TICC 알고리즘은 MANET에서 클러스터의 생성, 재생성, 진입 노드 및 이탈 노드의 검출과 관리를 통해 노드의 에너지 관리 효율을 향상시키고 클러스터의 Lifetime을 증가시키는 결과를 보여주었다. A MANET(Mobile Ad-hoc Network) is a multi-hop routing protocol formed by a collection without the intervention of infrastructure. So the MANET also depended on the property as like variable energy, high degree of mobility, location environments of nodes etc. Generally the various clustering technique and routing algorithm would have proposed for improving the energy efficiency. One of the popular approach methods is a cluster-based routing algorithm using in MANET. In this paper, we propose an algorithm techniques which is TICC (Time Interval Clustering Control) based on energy value in property of each node for solving cluster problem. It provides improving cluster energy efficiency how can being node manage to order each node's energy level. TICC could be able to manage the clustering, re-configuration, maintenance and detection of Node in MANET. Furthermore, the results of modeling shown that Node's energy efficiency and lifetime are improved in MANET.

세월호 소설의 비-인간적 형상 출현과 탈주체화 : 동물-되기, 좀비, 슬픔의 정치학

본 논문은 세월호 추모소설집에서 동물(사자, 개)과 좀비와 같은 비-인간적 존재를 서사화한 작품을 분석함으로써 탈주체화의 새로운 진리 생성의 가능성을 탐색하고자 한다. 들뢰즈와 가타리가 제시한 ‘동물-되기’와 재난 사태의 서사화에 우세종으로 보이는 좀비의 사회학적 의미를 분석의 방법론으로 삼고 있다. 비-인간적 존재들의 서사는 사건 이후 주체의 변화와 슬픔의 정치성을 드러내는 문학의 형식적 실험으로서 세월호 사건이 ‘살균된 슬픔’이나 생존주의의 지배로 전락하는 길목을 막아서고 있다. 들뢰즈와 가타리는 주체가 자기의 위치를 타자의 자리로 재배치하는 탈주체화의 방식을 ‘되기(=생성)’의 생동하는 힘이 작동하는 원리로 제시한다. 인간의 ‘동물-되기’는 동물로 변한 인간이 실재하지 않더라도 실제적이다. 왜냐하면 ‘되기’는 리좀의 생산이며 하나의 동사이기 때문이다. 박사랑과 최지애의 소설에 등장하는 동물(사자, 개)은 주체의 변용과 감응을 통해 ‘되기’의 가능성과 한계를 동시에 보여주었다. 박사랑의 화자는 경제적 일상의 유지를 위해 세월호 사건의 슬픔을 점차 망각해가는 과정을 ‘동물(사자)-되기’의 실패 서사 형식으로 보여준다. 주인공은 텔레비전으로 전달되는 참사를 보며 눈물을 흘리고 일상의 미세한 변화를 겪는다. 사자는 이러한 변화와 감응이 투사된 환영이며, ‘되기’로의 이행을 보여준 증거이다. 그러나 배치 관계의 변화는 주인공의 삶을 근본적으로 변화시키지는 못했다. 화자의 정동은 바깥에서 요청되거나 주어진 것으로서 ‘되기의 강밀도’가 낮았기 때문이다. 한편 최지애 소설의 아버지는 세월호 사건으로 희생된 아들과 집을 나간 강아지 달용이의 부재를 겪는다. 아버지의 ‘동물(개)-되기’는 사랑하는 대상의 부재를 스스로의 탈주체화를 통해 의미화한다. 소설은 아버지의 자리를 달용이의 자리로 재배치함으로써 상징계적 질서 체계에 의문을 제기하면서, 변신이 퇴화가 아니라 능력이라는 점을 드러낸다. 하지만 반복과 강박이 고정된 질서가 강조하는 규범과 상징계적 언어의 특징인 것처럼, 소설의 아버지 또한 반복강박에서 완전히 벗어나지 못했다는 한계가 있다. 이때 아버지의 ‘동물-되기’에는 자기 징벌의 성격을 동시에 내포한다. 방민호의 소설은 좀비의 존재를 통해 세월호 사건의 의미를 망각하려는 생존지상주의적 현실을 상징화하고 있다. 좀비의 무조건적 직진성, 강박적인 반복 행위는 자본주의 사회에서 습득한 노동의 형식을 연상하게 한다. 즉 좀비는 생존주의의 가혹함을 증명하는 존재면서 동시에 생존주의의 행동양식을 전염시키는 우리 사회의 병리적 증상을 증명하는 존재이다. 방민호의 소설에서 좀비의 등장은 이 가혹한 생존주의가 바로 세월호 사건의 원인이며, 사건이 요청하는 진리추구의 충실성을 막아서는 병리적 증상이기도 하다는 점을 보여준다. 슬픔과 분노는 주체를 뒤흔들면서 스스로의 위치를 재배치함으로써 새로운 의미를 찾아 나서게 하는 역능을 소유하는 정동이다. 그러나 고정적 언어와 규범적 방식으로 전달되는 슬픔은 카타르시스 효과에 의해 세탁된 슬픔으로 전락하고 감정의 소진 상태에 빠지게 된다. 본 논문에서 주목한 세 편의 작품에 등장하는 비-인간적 존재들은 이러한 감정의 소진을 막아서고 슬픔의 정치성이 갖는 힘을 실패와 가능성의 서사로 보여주면서 문학의 자리를 재배치하고 있다. This thesis analyzes works that depict non-human beings such as animals (lions, dogs) and zombies in the Sewol Ferry Memorial Novel Collection. Through this, we intend to explore the possibility of creating a new truth of desubjection. The sociological meaning of ‘Animal-Being’ and zombies suggested by Deleuze and Guattari is used as a methodology. Narratives of non-human beings are a formal experiment in literature that reveals the change of subject and the politicization of sadness after the incident, blocking the way from the Sewol Ferry incident to ‘sterilized sadness’ or to the domination of survivalism. Deleuze and Guattari propose the method of desubjection, in which the subject rearranges one s own position to the other s, as a principle in which the vital force of ‘becoming (=creation)’ operates. Man s ‘Animal-Being’ is real, even if the man turned into an animal is not real. Because ‘becoming’ is the production of rhizomes and is a verb. Animals appearing in the novels of Park sa-Rang and Choi Ji-ae simultaneously showed the possibilities and limitations of ‘becoming’ through the transformation and response of the subject. The narrator of Park sa-Rang shows the process of gradually forgetting the sorrow of the Sewol Ferry incident in the form of a failure narrative of ‘Animal-Being(lion)’ in order to maintain economic daily life. The main character sheds tears as he watches the tragedy transmitted on television and undergoes subtle changes in his daily life. The lion is the projected illusion of these changes and responses, and is evidence of the transition to ‘becoming’. However, the change in the arrangement relationship did not fundamentally change the life of the protagonist. This is because the speaker s affect was requested or given from the outside, and the ‘strength of becoming’ was low. Meanwhile, Choi Ji-ae s father suffers from the absence of her son, who was sacrificed in the Sewol ferry incident, and the dog, Dal-yong, who left home. His father s ‘Animal-Being(dog)’ signifies the absence of the object he loves through his own escape. The novel raises questions about the symbolic order system by relocating the father s place to that of Dal-yong, revealing that transformation is not a degeneration but an ability. However, just as repetition and obsession are characteristic of norms and symbolic language emphasized by a fixed order, the father of the novel has a limitation that he could not completely escape from the obsession with repetition. At this time, his father s ‘Animal-Being’ implies the character of self-punishment. Min-ho Bang s novel symbolizes the survivalist reality of forgetting the meaning of the Sewol Ferry incident through the existence of zombies. The zombie s unconditional straight-forward and obsessive repetitive behavior reminds us of the form of labor acquired in capitalist society. In other words, zombies prove the harshness of survivalism and at the same time prove the pathological symptoms of our society that transmit the behavioral patterns of survivalism. The appearance of zombies in Bang Min-ho s novel shows that this harsh survivalism is the cause of the Sewol Ferry incident and that it is also a pathological symptom that prevents the faithfulness of the pursuit of truth requested by the incident. Sadness and anger are affects that have the power to shake the subject and find new meanings by relocating themselves. However, sadness conveyed through fixed language and normative methods is reduced to sadness washed away by the cathartic effect and falls into a state of emotional exhaustion. The non-human beings appearing in the three works highlighted in this thesis are relocating the literature by preventing the exhaustion of these emotions and showing the power of the politics of sadness as narratives of failure and possibility.
