Effective pore control and enhanced strength of cellulose acetate using polyethylene glycol for improved battery stability

Water-channels were generated into cellulose acetate (CA) via the addition of polyethylene glycol (PEG) and water-assisted pressures. It was found that the PEG used as the plasticizer could enable pores in CA to be controlled. Since the PEG had a relatively small molecular weight, it easily penetrated into polymer chains and formed abundant free volumes in the CA, enabling the pore control. In addition, the PEG enhanced the thermal stability of CA by forming new bipolar interactions and hydrogen bonding between the CA chains and the hydroxyl groups of PEG. From these results, it could be expected that due to the low cost and eco-friendliness of PEG and CA, they could be widely used to manufacture separators used in batteries.

男子大學生의 欲求와 衣服의 評價基準과의 關係 研究

The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship between needs(need for abasement, autonomy, exhibitionism, sex, achievement, emotion) and criteria of clothing evaluation(aesthics, status symbolism, modesty, economy, fashion) of college males, and to find out the relationship between criteria of clothing evaluation and demographic variables. (college, proportion of female in department, income.) For this study, the quetionnaire were administered to 386 college males. The data were analyzed by using Pearson’s correlation, F-test, Partial correlation. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Need for achivement was strongest and need for exhibitionism, need for sex was generally strong among college males. 2) There were not significant differences in criteria of clothing evaluation according to proportion of female in department, and college too. But there were significant differences in criteria of clothing evaluation according to the income. 3) Significant positive correlation were found among the three criteria of clothing evaluation: aesthics, status symbolism, fashion. And modesty correlated significantly with economy at the .001 level. 4) There were significant positive correlation between need for abasement and modesty(p<0.001), economy(p<0.001). But there were negative correlation between need for abasement and fashion. Need for exhibitionism, need for sex positively correlated with aesthics, status symbolism, fashion. While need for sex negatively correlated with modesty. And need for achievement positively correlated with aesthics. 5) When status symbolism and fashion were controlled, need for exhibitionism and need for achievement positively correlated with aesthics at the .001 level. While need for sex not significantly correlated with aesthics when fash ion was controlled. When aesthics was controlled, need for exhibitionism significant positively correlated fashion at the .001 level. When aesthics and fashion were controlled, need for sex correlated significantly with status symbolismat at the .01 level. After status symbolism and aesthics were controlled, need for sex correlated significantly with fashion at the .01 level and need for abasement negatively correlated with fashion at the .001 level. When fashion and status symbolism were controlled, need for exhibitionism and need for achievement significantly correlated with aesthics at the .001 level.

택견의 어원에 대한 小考

The purpose of this study was to trace a word(Taek-kyon) to its origin. Teak-Kyon is being called Tak-Kyon · Tae-Kyon · D?k-Kyon and so on. So That makes us confused a lot Which is the origin. It has 4 prerequisite what had been debated by scholar, I describe the prerequisite as follows. ① It. existed in Seoul and around Kyung-ki(京畿) Province only. ② It's original pronunciation similar at Tak-Kyon. ③ It means a weapon-free martial art. ④ It derived from Chinese character. I admitted these prerequisite. so I searched for Chos?n(朝鮮) period's document and founded some words written in Chinese characters which means a weapon-free martial art. For example, Kwon-bup(拳法) · Su-bak(手搏) · Byun(卞)· Baek-ta(白打) · Kwon-to(拳鬪) · Ta-Kwon(打拳) etc. Ta-kwon's pronunciation is similar with Tak-kyon's among examples. and It used only 1 or 2 years officially, After government used Kwan-bup(拳法) as official term but Ta-Kwon used among an illiterate people in Seoul. They maybe mentioned Ta-Kwon without Chines character. As it result, they forget the original pronunciation and the word. Finally, Taek-kyon's pronunciation originated from Ta-kwon(打拳).

Bilateral Obstructive Uropathy Caused by Congenital Bladder Diverticulum Presenting as Hypertensive Retinopathy

A congenital bladder diverticulum (CBD) is caused by inherent muscular weakness instead of obstruction of the bladder outlet. The major clinical conditions are recurrent urinary tract infection (UTI) and voiding dysfunction. This report describes a 15-year-old male adolescent who developed sudden visual disturbance resulting from hypertensive retinopathy. The cause of hypertension was bilateral obstructive uropathy caused by enlarged paraureteral bladder diverticula. After the non-functioning right kidney and ureter and the bilateral diverticula were removed, the left ureter was reimplanted in the bladder. Pathologic findings showed chronic pyelonephritis and partial loss of the bladder musculature in the diverticular wall. This observation indicates that dilated CBD can cause latent UTI, ureteral obstruction, hydronephrosis, and secondary hypertension.

스위칭 엑티비티를 최소화한 저전력 DCT 아키텍쳐 구현

저전력 설계는 시스템의 소모전력을 줄임으로써 에너지 절약과 함께 휴대용 장치의 배터리 수명을 극대화시킴에 있어 직면한 가장 중요한 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 개량형 CSHM을 이용하여 저전력 DCT 구조를 제안하였다. 제안된 구조는 Computation Sharing Multiplication 연산 과정 중 불필요한 비트에 대한 연산을 수행하지 않는다. 실험 결과, 기존의 DCT 알고리즘과 동일한 연산 결과를 보이면서도 최대 약 9%의 소모전력이 감소하였다. 따라서 제안된 저전력 DCT 구조는 저전력 및 고성능으로 DCT 알고리즘을 처리해야하는 휴대용 멀티미디어 시스템에 적용이 가능하다. Low-power design is one of the most important challenges encountered in maximizing battery life in portable devices as well as saving energy during system operation. In this paper we propose a low-power DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) architecture using a modified Computation Sharing Multiplication (CSHM). The overall rate of Power consumption is reduced during DCT: the proposed architecture does not perform arithmetic operations on unnecessary bits during the Computation Sharing Multiplication calculations. Experimental results show that it is possible to reduce power dissipation up to about $7\sim8%$ without compromising the final DCT results. The proposed low-power DCT architecture can be applied to consumer electronics as well as portable multimedia systems requiring high throughput and low-power.

칼뱅의 예전신학 : 그것의 역사적 배경과 신학적 의미

The Reformation was a reform of the true worship of God. As we can find out in De necessitate reformandae Ecclesiae, the aim of Calvin`s theology was to rebuild an authentic Christianity in which God is rightly worshipped. The principal foundation of worship is to acknowledge the Word of God to be the only source of all things. We should ascribe to the Lord all glory. Although Calvin should not be regarded as an absolute authority by which judges every point of Christian doctrines, Reformed churches are following Calvin`s liturgical theology. As Paul said, Calvin warned that the Christians do not have a self-chosen worship or “will-worship” (εθελοθρησκεiα, Col. 2:23). When a self-imposed worship takes possession of our churches, a spiritually vivacious worship proceeding from the Holy Spirit is no longer expected. Having been influenced by Martin Bucer, Calvin`s basic principle of worship is the centrality of the Word of God and sacramentum through the working of Holy Spirit. The reformer believed that proper worship must be conducted in Lege praescribitur, with theological consideration not merely human ability. The Word of God is “a bridle to prevent men from turning aside to spurious worship.” Also, the Reformed worship is spiritual ascent, as it were, mais est un movement vif, procedant du sainct Esprit. Giving prominence to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, the reformer placed great emphasis on the order of worship, concentrating on preaching, prayer and the Eucharist. In order to have God-directed worship not εθελοθρησεiα, our church today have to have a theology of worship in reforming worship.
