인삼양위탕(人蔘養胃湯)의 면역(免疫) 증강효과(增强效果)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)

In order to investigate the effects of Insamyangwee Tang on cell-mediated and humoral immune response, solid extract of Insamyangwee Tang (sample A), mixture of individual solid extract of Insamyangwee Tang (sample B) were administered orally for 14 days. The auther used ICR mice having a body weight of about 20-22g as experimental animals dividing them into three groups-Saline, Sample A and Sample B group. All of the mice were sensitized i.v. with $10^8$ sheep red blood cells(SRBC) and challenged i.d. with $10^8$ SRBC 4 days later. Such immune responses as delayed-type hypersensitivity(DTH), rosette forming cells(RFC), hemagglutinin titers(HA titers) and hemolysin titers(HL titers) were measured at 24 hours after challenge. The results were as follow: 1. DTH in Sample A & Sample B group was increased, as compared with Saline group, with satistical significance. 2. RFC in Sample A & Sample B group were increased, as compared with Saline group, with statistical significance. 3. HA titers in Sample A & Sample B group were not increased, as compared with Saline group, with statistical significance. 4. HL titers were increased just only in Sample A group with statistical significance. The inference from the above results is that Sample A group is better than Sample B group, and Insamyangwee Tang enhance the cell-mediated and humoral immune response.
아종특이적 STS 마커를 이용한 벼 품종의 유전다양성 분석

전 세계에서 광범위하게 수집한 벼 유전자원 320개를 63개의 아종특이적마커로 분석하여 유전자원의 다양성, 유연관계 및 유전집단의 구조분석을 하여 아종특이적마커의 아종판별 효율을 검정하고 아종의 게놈 구성을 검토하고자 본 시험을 수행하였다. 1. 본 연구에서 사용한 63개의 아종특이적 마커는 벼 품종을 인디카와 자포니카 두 아종으로 구분하는데 효과적으로 이용할 수 있었다. 2. 실험에 사용한 320개의 벼 유전자원들은 자포니카군(128개)과 인디카군(1 Rice (Oryza sativa L.), the world's most important crop, is usually classified into ssp. indica and japonica based on morpho-physiological traits. In the previous study, we have developed subspecies-specific STS markers (SS markers) to readily discriminate between indica and japonica in O. sativa. In this study, we employed SS markers to investigate the genomic inclination of worldwide collections of O. sativa. A total of 320 varieties were divided into two groups with 63 SS markers. Namely, they formed two distinctive groups, indica and japonica, as expected by their geographic origin. The population structure analysis revealed that the variability of genetic background was greater in indica than in japonica. Some of them, however, exhibited intermediate genomic inclination between indica and japonica. These results are in general agreement with the previous studies, suggesting that SS markers are powerful tools for both determination of subspecies genome and assessment of genetic diversity in rice.

BaAl2Si2O8: Eu2+ + xSiO2 (x = 0, 1, 2 and 3) has been synthesized with phosphors via novel liquid phase precursor (LPP)method. The best crystalline BaAl2Si2O8 : Eu2+ phosphor could not be synthesized as the calcination temperature is inadequatefully to crystalize the phosphor leading to the crystal and amorphous. Albeit, the firing temperature is insufficient so as to formthe fine crystal, the added excess SiO2 could act as an additive for the crystallization of the phosphor. As a function of SiO2,the size of the crystal has been augmented and formed fine crystals with the concentration of added SiO2. Moreover, the addedexcess SiO2 makes SiOC : Eu2+ phosphor as a deep blue illumination at 440 nm. Photoluminescence intensity of the phosphorsis increased continuously by the addition of SiO2 heretofore x = 3. In the present investigation, an attempt has been made tosynthesize and observe carefully for photoluminescence properties with regard to the crystalline structure, optical propertyand surface morphology.
Enhancement of photoluminescence properties of SrAl2Si2O8:Eu2+ by a large amount of SiO2 addition

SiO2 added phosphors, SrAl2Si2O8:Eu2++ xSiO2 (x = 0, 1, 2 and 3 mol) were synthesized by a novel liquid phase precursor (LPP) method. The photoluminescence properties of phosphor added by 2 mol of SiO2 showed 71% increase in the emission intensity compared with the SrAl2Si2O8:Eu2+ phosphor. A broad emission and excitation wavelength was observed approximately from 400 nm to 600 nm centered at 430 nm and from 300 nm to 400 nm centered at 350 nm, respectively. Photoluminescence intensity of the phosphors increased continuously by SiO2 addition up to x = 2 mol and then it decreased at 3 mol of SiO2. The observed photoluminescence properties of the phosphors were discussed by their crystalline structure and morphology
분만 방법이 소아 천식의 발생에 영향을 미칠 수 있는가?

Under the hygiene hypothesis, children born by cesarean section (CS) may consequently have an increased risk of asthma and other allergic diseases. CS has been shown to have a delayed and altered development in establishment of gut flora and altered cytokine production. Concerns about the relations between CS and the risk of children's asthma are rising due to the growing number of CS performed in many countries. However, finding the concrete evidence to correlate CS with higher risk of asthma is still controversial. There were significant covariate imbalance between groups of children born by CS vs. vaginal delivery that include the number of maternal age, gestational age, birth weight, complication during pregnancy, complication during labor, socioeconomic status, a parental history of atopy, and maternal smoking history. And there were considerable heterogeneity in methods and study subjects between the studies of delivery by CS and the offspring's risk of asthma and other allergic diseases. Therefore, as we proceed into the further study, researchers must refer to the literatures and look for the best way proving their hypothesis that are based on the methodological subject group. Of which should be accordance with the research purposes. Also, researchers have to search for identifying the core biological mechanism in order to know whether there is a causal relationship exists between the CS and asthma.
