The adenosine deaminase from calf intestinal mucosa was modified with 2,4-bis(o-methoxy-polyethylene glycol)-6-chloro-s-triazine(activated PEG), which was synthesized from monomethoxypolyethylene glycol(MW 5,000) and cyanuric chloride. Approximately 41 out of the total 69 amino groups in the adenosine deaminase molecule were modified. The conjugation of PEG increased affinity for adenosine showed by decreased K_m. ADA and PEG-ADA had temperature optima of 60℃ and 50℃, respectively. Thermal inactivation at temperature above optima was essentially the same for the native and modified enzyme. PEG-ADA and ADA demonstrated an resistance to proteolytic digestion of trypsin and chymotrypsin. Modification of the adenosine deaminase with PEG resulted in greatly decreased electrophoretic mobility of the protein. The modified ADA preparations were less immunogenic and antigenic than native enzyme as determined by immunodiffusion studies.

Adenosine deaminase의 69개 아미노기중 41개를 cyanuric chloride로 활성화된 PEG로 공유부착시켰다. PEG가 결합하더라도 ADA의 활성은 유지되었고, $K_m$값은 감소해 기질에 대한 친화성은 증가하였다. 또한 원래 ADA에 비하여 산성범위에서 활성이 감소된 좁은 pH의존성을 보였다. ADA와 PEG-ADA는 각각 $60^{\circ}C$와 $50^{\circ}C$가 최적온도이었고 높은 온도에서 열에 의한 활성감소는 두 효소 모두 동일한 양상을 나타내었다. PEG-ADA는 trypsin이냐 chymotrypsin 같은 단백질 분해효소에 의해서 가수분해는 되지 않았다. ADA는 polyacrylamide gel에서 정상적인 이동도를 보인 반면 PEG-ADA는 전기이동도가 현저하게 감소된 결과를 보였다. PEG-ADA는 면역원성이나 항원성이 현저히 감소하였다. 항ADA 혈청은 ADA와 침전반응을 하였지만 항PEG-ADA 혈청은 PEG-ADA와 반응하지 않았다. 기계체조 학습에서 애니메이션 방식을 통한 CAI 프로그램의 적용효과

The aim of this study was to identify whether the method of presenting learning content by showing computer animation is more effective than the traditional methods in understanding the qualities of apparatus gymnastics in middle school physical education. Apparatus gymnastics was the learning assignment by which learners come to understand that movement function changes according to change of motion. To make learners understand the qualities of apparatus gymnastics and to increase motivation, lesson presentation by showing computer animation, which has many characteristics of motion and trajectory, is considered to be more effective than the traditional presentation method of using scales or charts in a static graphic way. The question to be studied was to verify what difference this kind of presentation method by showing computer animation, has on the academic achievement of learners according to their cognitive style. The results of this study are as follows : 1) The group of learners exposed to the presentation method using computer animation showed significantly higher academic achievement than the group exposed to the traditional presentation method(p<.01). 2) The learners who have a field-dependent cognitive style showed significantly higher academic achievement when exposed to the method using computer animation than to the traditional presentation method(p<.01). 3) The learners who have a field-independent cognitive style showed little difference in academic achievement whether they are exposed to presentation through showing computer animation or to the traditional presentation method. Consequently, this study showed that when learning the qualities of apparatus gymnastics dealing with the relation between the variation of borders and vertexes presentation using computer animation, which shows motion and trajectory, is more effective in gaining higher academic achievement than the traditional presentation method. It also shows that though presentation by showing computer animation is no better than the traditional presentation method, to improve the academic achievement among learners who have a field-independent cognitive style, it proves to be effective with those who have a field-dependent cognitive style.

The purpose of this study was to explore the new paradigm of humanities in Physical Education and to establish the identity of Physical Education study. This paper examined the reasons why the humanities area in PE study needs to set up the new paradigm for the future. One of mission of the humanities is to establish the human identity and to discover the human value. That mission can be applied to Physical education study at the same time. To enforce the position and existence of the humanities area in Physical Education, the scholars people who involve this area need to keep up good work and to establish new paradigm. In order to perform this mission, several objectives could be execute as follows: 1. The practical humanities should be applied in PE study. 2. The inter-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary studies are needed prospective direction in PE humanities area. 3. The oriental and Western study are suppose to be intercommunicate and interaction. 4. Improving reading, speaking, writing and translation original texts should be executed as working of PE humanities study. 5. The data base system and Information Technology should be establish as soon as possible. 6. The Sports Science Institutes need to take over and perform the humanities study in PE. In conclusion, in order to perform these objectives, the scholars people who involve this area need to set up and to operate the official organization and federation.

접근이 불가능한 지역에 대한 3차원 위치결정을 위하여, 영상촬영시의 궤도 및 센서정보를 이용한 궤도모델링을 수행한 후 3차원 위치의 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있는 방법에 대하여 연구를 수행하였으며, 본 연구에서는 궤도정보가 제공되었던 KOMPSAT-1호 영상 중남해에서 서울까지 320㎞ 궤도에 대한 스트립 입체영상을 이용하여 궤도에 따른 오차분석을 수행하고 기준점의 수를 최소화 할 수 있는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다.
기본적인 영어 음운현상 숙지가 EFL 학습자들의 영어듣기 능력에 미치는 영향

The purposes of this study are to examine EFL college students' affective attitudes toward listening comprehension and to explore the effects of knowing basic English phonological phenomena on listening comprehension. A total of 70 EFL college students were divided into two groups, an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received instruction in which traditional English lessons were replaced by English lessons that involved explaining basic English phonological phenomena during some portions of the instruction. The results of the study showed that the students' level of interest toward English listening comprehension was the highest among four affective domains whereas the students' level of confidence was found to be the lowest out of the four domains. Results also revealed that the students from the experimental group showed better performance on the listening test than the students from the control group over the thirteen-week period of the treatment. These results suggest a need for explaining basic English phonological phenomena in classrooms to help EFL learners to enhance their listening comprehension proficiency. Several applications are discussed based on the findings of this study.
