석조문화재 보존처리용 에폭시수지 물성에 미치는 탈크 함량의 영향

석조문화재 보존처리제로 사용되는 에폭시수지의 물성변화를 충전제의 함량변화와 인공풍화를 통한 가속화시험으로 연구하였다. 충전제로서 탈크를 첨가한 에폭시수지(L-30) 시편에서 함수율이 감소하였고, 표면접촉각이 증가하여 수분에 대한 저항성이 높았다. 탈크의 첨가량을 일정량 증가시켰을 때 접착 성능에서는 문제가 발생되지 않았으나 에폭시수지 자체의 압축강도는 저하되었다. 탈크 함량에 따른 에폭시수지의 물성변화는 그 주변 환경요소에 각기 다른 경향을 보였다. 온·습도 변화에 의한 인공풍화시험 후 탈크가 첨가된 에폭시수지에서 순수한 에폭시수지에 비해 함수율의 변화가 적었으며, 색차변화가 작았고 표면접촉각이 커진 것으로 확인되었다. 자외선조사에 의한 인공풍화시험에서는 탈크함량이 증가할수록 에폭시의 물성이 악화되는 결과를 보였다. 이는 에폭시수지의 내구성을 향상시키기 위해서 첨가하는 충전제의 함량이 보존처리될 석조물의 주변환경에 따라 다르게 적용되어야 함을 의미한다.

공무원의 정치적 중립 행태에 관한 실증 분석: 불편부당성, 정치적 대응성, 정치적 책임성을 중심으로

Political neutrality has often been used with conflicting meanings by different researchers and in different cases due to conceptual ambiguity. The political use of the term has added to the confusion in discussing political neutrality. Based on an awareness of these problems, this study divides the political neutrality of civil servants into three dimensions: unbiasedness, political responsiveness, and political responsibility. Political neutrality as unbiasedness means maintaining the same attitude regardless of who the political superior is. Political neutrality as political responsiveness means taking orders from the political superior as one's own beliefs. Political neutrality as political responsibility means actively reflecting on and judging orders from superiors in the light of one’s own sense of public value. Our empirical analysis confirmed that political personnel intervention, public service motivation, and political orientation were factors affecting political neutrality. This suggests that civil servants can serve as the last resort for the protection of the public interest in a society of political excessiveness. Finally, this study seeks to derive practical implications through empirical research as well as the development of the concept of political neutrality.

Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)를 처리한 흰쥐 호르몬 및 정소 미세구조 변화

Di-(2-ethy1hexyl) phthalate (DEHP) has been commonly used as a plasticizer in polyvinyl chloride resins for manufacturing flexible vinyl products. The toxicity of DEHP has been the topic of extensive research, especially concerning endocrine disrupting properties. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of DEHP on the ultrastructural changes of the spermatogenesis in the rat. And also, some hormones in serum were measured to evaluate the physiological effects of DEHP. The rats were orally intubated with either corn oil (experimental control) or 0.5㎎, 1.5㎎ and 4.5 ㎎ DEHP/㎏/day in 0.5㎖ of corn oil for 15 days before sacrificing and sampling. DEHP reduced the growth of the testes, inhibited spermatogenesis and altered ultrastructural features of most cell types of the rat testis depending on the dosage treated. Briefly, Differentiations of the Leydig cells, the Sertoli cells and the developing germ cells seemed to be impaired. DEHP increased the level of LH(ICSH), but lowered the level of testosterone. The detrimental effect of DEHP on spermatogenesis seems to be derived from the decreased level of testosterone by the Leydig cells, followed by the weak activity of the Sertoli cells and the germ cells, In conclusion, DEHP inhibited the spermatogenesis via lowering testosterone in the rats. The results suggest that DEHP could show properties of endocrine disrupter impairing the spermatogenesis and has effects on the ultrastructures in rat

The purpose of this study is to analyze the static posture, dynamic balance and walking ground reaction force of female Middle School students according to academic major, foot type, and indoor shoes. Test subjects were 24 female Middle School students. Independent variables included academic major (12 dance majors and 12 non-dance majors), foot type (pes planus, pes rectus), and indoor shoes (two types sorted according to hardness and heel height) or slippers. Shoe hardness was determined by the GS-701N (Teclook, Japan), and shoe height was measured using verier calipers 34-004 (Stanley, USA). Dependent variables for this study were posture, balance, and ground reaction force. Posture was measured via MZEN Style Body S8.0_ver1.0. Balance was calculated using MFT Balance Test. Ground reaction force was evaluated using the Kisler Force Plate (Type 9281B, Germany). Statistical analysis was performed via SPSS win 18.0 program with one-way ANOVA and LSD for post hoc. It is trend increasing every year with serious levels in case of a foot disease station of period of growth students. Shoes wear and walk habit formed to period of growth is hard to exchange and affect it to an adult foot disease. Therefore, wear of the shoes which are correct to adolescence is important. However, until now it wasn't taken seriously into consideration about the dangerousness issues in slippers for a campus as had to be wearing many hours, and can't seriously recognize students even about the issues. These results shoe that pes rectus nullifies the influence of indoor shoe type and major on posture, balance, and ground reaction force. Pes planus, on the other hand, can be influenced by both major and especially indoor shoe type. Shoes with softer soles and a harder forefoot might be the best for those with pes planus.

오독 분석(Miscue Analysis)을 통한 중등 EFL 학습자의 수준별 읽기 전략 연구

This study analyzes the reading process of Korean EFL secondary learners by using miscue analysis and identifies the learner’s level-based reading strategies in the early development process of English learners in Korea. To examine the relationship between reading miscues and reading strategies by learners of each level, a class of second graders of middle school in Cheongju, Chungbuk was randomly selected and a miscue analysis experiment was conducted on 23 students. The miscue analysis followed the RMI (Reading Miscue Inventory) procedure initiated by Goodman (2005). The results are as follows. First, the number of the errors of the lower group was less than that of the middle group, suggesting that the lower group needs to be encouraged to have a risk-taking attitude and provided with an encouraging feedback. Second, for the middle and the lower group, there occurred various error types, which cause difficulty with their understanding of the text. This indicates the need to provide level-specific English reading instructions based on learners’ reading strategies and characteristics. Third, all three groups have the same high ratio of the errors related to phonetic cues, indicating that they rely heavily on phonetic cues and that learning English sounds and letters, which is not currently specified in the middle school English curriculum, still needs to be reinforced.

절식에 의한 흰쥐 췌장의 기능 및 구조 변화

Ultrastructural characteristics of the pancreatic acinus and the islet of Langerhans of Sprague-Dawley rats after 4-day fasting were observed. Food-restricted rats showed a low glucose concentration of blood. On transmission electron microscopy, acinar cells had well developed rough endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi complex and zymogen granules in control groups. In case of experimental groups, ecocytosis of zymogen material into the lumen obviously decreased, distribution of zymogen granules in cytoplasm was eccentric, and swellings of rough endoplasmic reticulum and nuclear envelope were observed. And, in control groups, many capillaries were present near islet of Langerhans and insulin secreting B cells or glucagon secreting A cells were observed. Meanwhile, ultrastructural changes including the swellings of nuclear envelope and rough endoplasmic reticulum and the decrease of secretory granules of endocrine cells in experimental groups. These results suggest that food deprivation altered the ultrastructure and function of pancreas in rat.

고위공무원의 정치적 중립에 대한 이해: 근거이론을 이용하여

The purpose of this study is to understand senior civil servants’ experiences of and reactions to the politicization in Korea. By understanding their perceptions, the study aims two things: to resolve the complexity and ambiguity of the concept ‘political neutrality’ and to construct a theory of political neutrality of senior civil servants. Although it is an important research topic in public administration, political neutrality lacks an evidence-based theoretical framework. Based on a semi-structured in-depth interview, we develop a grounded theory of political neutrality. The results show that political neutrality is understood as norms of behavior. Public servants sought to comply with political neutrality by exercising discretion. However, the well-known debate over “soulless public officer” still rises because, in most cases, public servants choose not to respond by passive non-compliance rather than active resistance. The results also show that the politicization of public officials rises around personnel system. By clearing out the main influencing factors of politicization, the study provides a foundation for quantitative studies of political neutrality. 본 연구는 우리나라 고위공무원이 정치적 중립과 관련하여 어떤 경험을 하고 이에 대해 어떻게 대응하는 지를 이해하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 통해 정치적 중립의 개념적 혼란을 부분적이나마 해소하고, 고위공무원의 정치적 중립에 대한 이론을 구축하고자 한다. 정치적 중립은 오래된 문제다. 그러나 자료에 근거한 이론 정립이 부족했다. 본 연구자는 고위공무원을 대상으로 반구조화 인터뷰를 진행하여 자료를 수집했고, 근거이론을 통해 분석했다. 분석 결과, 정치적 중립은 공무원의 행동규범인 것으로 이해되고 있었으며, 공무원들은 재량을 이용하여 정치적 중립을 지키기 위해 노력하고 있었다. 다만 공무원의 정치적 중립을 위한 의지는 적극적 저항보다는 소극적인 불응을 통해 나타나고 있기 때문에 ‘영혼 없는 공무원’ 논의가 심화되는 것으로 보인다. 한편, 공무원의 정치성 경험은 인사 관행을 중심으로 불거지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 향후 양적연구를 통해 인과관계를 검증할 수 있는 토대를 마련했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

We encountered a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus that manifested as anemia and thrombocytopenia during antithyroid drug treatment. A 39-year-old woman with Graves` disease was admitted with anemia and thrombocytopenia. She had been treated with propylthiouracil, but had switched to methimazole one month prior to admission. We evaluated many possible causes and found that the patient had renal disorder and hematologic disorder, and was positive for antiphospholipid and antinuclear antibodies. She was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus associated with Graves` disease and was successfully treated with corticosteroids. (Korean J Med 2012;82:232-235)
