Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the extent of ageism among domestic university students in South Korea and identify influencing factors while controlling for social desirability bias. Methods: This cross-sectional study involved 312 students from a nationwide panel and four universities located in G Province, administered online. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 26.0, employing descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, Welch’s ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, and hierarchical regression analysis methods. Results: Controlling for social desirability, the most potent predictors of ageism were the images about older adults (β=-.29, p<.001), knowledge about aging (β=-.24, p<.001), and the quality of interaction (β=-.20, p<.001), explaining 39% of the variance. Anxiety about aging did not emerge as a significant predictor in the final model. Conclusion: The findings underscore the critical importance of promoting accurate knowledge about aging, fostering positive images of older adults, and improving intergenerational interactions to combat ageism. These results provide a theoretical foundation for interventions aimed at reducing ageism.

본 연구에서는 춘천 지역에서 재배되고 있는 메밀의 부위별(종피, 종자, 줄기) 추출물을 이용하여 MTT assay 항산화 효능(수퍼옥사이드 라디칼, 하이드록실 라디칼 소거능), rutin과 phytic acid에 대한 함량 측정, 대표적인 중금속 중의 하나인 카드뮴에 대한 세포 수준에서 방어 효능을 평가하였고, 이들 자료를 토대로 주된 식품재료로 쓰이고 있는 메밀을 기능성 화장품의 소재로써 개발할 수 있는 가능성을 조사하여 보았다. HaCaT 세포와 B16F10 세포를 이용한 세포 독성 실험에서는 각 추출물 100 ㎍/mL의 농도 범위에서는 독성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 수퍼옥사이드 라디칼에 대한 소거능은 종피>줄기>종자 추출물 순이었으며, 종피나 줄기는 거의 비슷한 수준의 효능을 보여 주었으며, 항산화 효능에 관여하는 주요 물질중의 하나인 rutin은 줄기 부위에 가장 많이 함유하고 있었다. 하이드록실 라디칼에 대한 소거능은 각 추출물 모두 거의 없는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 중금속에 대한 chelate 물질로 알려진 phytic acid는 rutin처럼 줄기 부위에 높은 농도로 함유되어 있었다. 카드뮴에 대한 독성은 HaCaT 세포에서 50 μM의 농도일 때 50% 정도의 치사율을 보였으며, 카드뮴을 추출물과 같이 처리하였을 때는 카드뮴의 독성에 대해 약 10% 정도 방어 효과를 나타냈다. Confocal laser scanning microscope를 이용하여 카드뮴에 의한 세포내 활성산소종의 생성을 확인하였고. 생성된 활성 산소 종에 대한 방어 효능은 줄기추출물에서 가장 우수한 것을 확인하였다. In the present study, the Chuncheon buckwheat extracts prepared from its seed coats, seeds and stems were used to determine anti-oxidative effects, the content of rutin and phytic acid, and the protective role against cadmium at the cellular level. futhermore, it was evaluated whether the buckwheat, mainly known as a healthy food source, might be applicable to functional cosmetics. Up to 100 ㎍/mL of the extract was not toxic in HaCaT and B16F10 cell lines using MTT assay. The anti-oxidative capacity of superoxide radicals was shown in seed coats extracts > stem extracts=seed extracts. Although its content of rutin, known as one of effective anti-oxidants, mainly exists in the stem, any extract did not eliminate hydroxyl radicals. Phytic acid, known as a heavy metal-chelate agent, was highly concentrated in the stem. The Chuncheon buckwheat extract had 10% protective effect against the treatment of 50 μM cadmium at which 50% of HaCaT cells survived. Confocal laser scanning microscope revealed the intracellular generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) by cadmium treatment. Finally, we identified that the stem extract had the most protective effect on the elimination of ROS.

This is to analyze teachers` inquiry in the overseas Korean education, especially in Thailand, with the purpose of raising applicability and supremacy of Korean education. In this study, the Korean teachers` spoken question was researched for Korean education of Korean classes in Thailand, Based on this, it grasped the planning and execution of the local class, and additionally developed questions to improve Korean language skills. In Thailand, Korean classes mainly proceed with presenting phoneme, vocabulary, grammar → practice → speaking → writing. This is the level of the early Korean language education in Korea in the teacher directed class. Also, the teachers` questions were presented in the learners` mother tongue, and simple questions were used with the purpose of verifying information such as majji?, mwoji? And for demanding translations such as beonyeoghamyeon? With the proper level of spoken questions in Korean, this study suggests questions with consideration of the local class contents and methods used in Thailand to increase applicability. In addition, it also presents the questions with the use of pictures.

The purpose if this research was to improve the pressure distribution on the disk brake pad Not uniform pressure distribution on the disk brake pad generate the unbalance wear of it and the unbalance wear of disk brake pad generate vibration, noise, heat and reduce the braking capacity. For improve the pressure distribution on the pad in this research, upper face of caliper housing finger was cut. Two kinds of caliper which uncut and cut of finger face were compared the stress distribution by FEM analysis and real experiment. Also natural frequency and deforming displacement ware calculated. It was understood that pressure distribution could Improve by cut inside upper face of caliper housing finger.

This study presents the structural optimization technique of double-layer space frame structure according to the lattice division and height variation. First, the automated computation of joint coordinates and numbering technique are considered for the shape modeling. Also, the objective function for optimization is expressed as the whole member weight of double-layer space frame. Specifically, the member resizing technique and the design variable linking technique for member grouping are developed in the optimization process. Finally, the optimal design formulation and algorithm through the sensitivity analysis technique are presented to select the optimal alternative of double-layer space frame structure.

Recently, the requirements for high precision and efficiency machining are gradually increased to raise international competitiveness at the industrial fields of automotive and gears. This trend had made effects on the industrial fields in Korea and which needs further studying of high accuracy and efficiency machining. This study is to investigate the effects of Jig type chuck for roundness improvement in CNC turning machining of high stage speed gear. After hobbing machining, Dimensional change before and after heat treatment was very largely generated. In order to solve this problem was to develop a jig type chuck. After the heat treatment, the operation of the chuck which was the most distinguished equipment among Jig type chuck(0.006mm), Scroll type chuck(0.05㎜) and Bolt type chuck(0.04㎜). Therefore, Jig type chuck was satisfied the requirement from the actual field(0.02㎜).

This study presents an effective stiffness-based optimization technique to control quantitatively lateral drift and to evaluate the structural behavioral characteristics and efficiency for tall outrigger system subject to lateral loads. For this end, displacement sensitivity depending on behavioral characteristics of outrigger system is established and approximation concept that can efficiently solve large scale problems is introduced. Specifically, under the 'constant-shape' assumption, the resizing technique of member is developed. Six types of 60 story frameworks according to the location of outrigger and belt truss are presented to illustrate the features of the quantitative lateral drift control technique.
