The oleophobic property of surfaces modified with micro-post structures are investigated for a range of micro-post diameter (11-23μm) and pitch (20-40μm). The contact angle of an oil droplet on surfaces with various micro-post dimensions was calculated using the Cassie-Baxter model and did not show a good agreement with the measured contact angle. From measurement, the micro-post with diameter of 23㎛ and pitch of 32㎛ was found to have the highest contact angle (134.3°).

To analyze the gas discharge phenomena in parallel-plane electrodes, the fully coupled finite element method (FEM) considering secondary electron emission effects in discharge column was adopted in this paper. Two coupled equations of the hydrodynamic diffusion-drift equations for three carriers and the Poisson’s equation for electric scalar potential should be solved as a system equation. The proposed method including two secondary electron processes of the photoemission and background ionization has been successfully applied to evaluating the breakdown voltage in parallel-plane electrodes and is verified by comparing its numerical results with the experimental ones. From the obtained results, it is inferred that the proposed numerical scheme will be useful for predicting and understanding streamer transient phenomena.

The effect of deposition time in arc ion plating on surface properties of the TiN-coated SM45C steel is presented in this paper. The surface roughness, micro-particle, micro-hardness, coated thickness, atomic distribution of TiN, and adhesion strength are measured for various deposition times. It has been shown that the deposition time has a considerable effect on the micro-hardness, the coated thickness, and an atomic distribution of TiN of the SM45C steels but that it has little influence on the surface roughness and adhesion strength.

This is to analyze teachers` inquiry in the overseas Korean education, especially in Thailand, with the purpose of raising applicability and supremacy of Korean education. In this study, the Korean teachers` spoken question was researched for Korean education of Korean classes in Thailand, Based on this, it grasped the planning and execution of the local class, and additionally developed questions to improve Korean language skills. In Thailand, Korean classes mainly proceed with presenting phoneme, vocabulary, grammar → practice → speaking → writing. This is the level of the early Korean language education in Korea in the teacher directed class. Also, the teachers` questions were presented in the learners` mother tongue, and simple questions were used with the purpose of verifying information such as majji?, mwoji? And for demanding translations such as beonyeoghamyeon? With the proper level of spoken questions in Korean, this study suggests questions with consideration of the local class contents and methods used in Thailand to increase applicability. In addition, it also presents the questions with the use of pictures.
평행 평판 전극에서의 경계 조건의 변화에 따른 기체 방전의 유한 요소 해석

본 논문에서는 스트리머 방전에 대한 연구의 일환으로 전자사태의 발생과정 및 절연파괴현상을 2차원 유한요소법을 이용하여 해석하였다. 평행 평판 전극을 모델로 도입하고 전자밀도에 대한 경계조건을 변화시켜 각각 시뮬레이션을 통하여 신뢰성 있는 결과를 도출하였다.

Recently, the requirements for high precision and efficiency machining are gradually increased to raise international competitiveness at the industrial fields of automotive and gears. This trend had made effects on the industrial fields in Korea and which needs further studying of high accuracy and efficiency machining. This study is to investigate the effects of Jig type chuck for roundness improvement in CNC turning machining of high stage speed gear. After hobbing machining, Dimensional change before and after heat treatment was very largely generated. In order to solve this problem was to develop a jig type chuck. After the heat treatment, the operation of the chuck which was the most distinguished equipment among Jig type chuck(0.006mm), Scroll type chuck(0.05㎜) and Bolt type chuck(0.04㎜). Therefore, Jig type chuck was satisfied the requirement from the actual field(0.02㎜).
