With growing of wind turbine industry, offshore wind energy is getting more attention in recent years. Among all the components of offshore wind turbines, the foundation of the offshore wind turbine plays a key role in stability of whole system. In this work, the 5 MW NREL reference wind turbine with rated speed of 11.4 m/s is used for load calculation. Wind and wave loads are calculated using GH-Bladed (Garard Hassan) and FAST (NREL). Additionally, FE simulation is carried out to investigate the wave effect on the support structure. Meanwhile, this work is to simulate systemic and optimized load cases for the foundation analysis of wind turbine system.

Plant equipment is made at the factory and installed at the construction site. If dimension quality problems occur during this process, it is impossible to fix the equipment. The part that is already installed at the construction site will need to be modified. Such modifications are expensive and time consuming. Dimensional quality inspection is required in advance and, recently, 3D laser scanners have been used. These can measure large areas more quickly than possible using other measuring instruments; however, 3D laser scanner results require a great deal of post-processing. In this study, we propose a method that automatically analyzes measured point data for dimension quality inspection of plant equipment. To reduce the calculation time, a grid is constructed and dimensional quality analysis is performed using representative points. Also, to remove noise and unnecessary areas, points with large error are repeatedly deleted.

A male mixed breed dog with unknown age (case 1) and 5-year-old female golden retriever (case 2) were admitted to the Department of Veterinary Pathology at College of Veterinary Medicine, Seoul National University after sudden death. At necropsy, stifle region of case 1 was replaced by coalescing firm tan nodules approximately 1-3 cm in diameter. Neoplastic nodules were also presented in the lung. In case 2, the spleen was enlarged 3-5 times its normal size and numerous firm tan nodules were noted in the kidney, pericardium, diaphragm and lymph nodes. Histopathologically, the neoplastic masses of case 1 consisted of plump spindle cells having abundant cytoplasm and indistinct cell borders that formed interlacing bundle. In case 2, the masses were consisted of round to polygonal cells with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm and eccentric nuclei. Numerous multinucleated giant cells containing nuclei of various sizes were noted. Immunohistochemically, neoplastic cells of all two cases stained intensely with vimentin and lysozyme. Based on the gross and light microscopic findings together with immunohistochemistry, both cases were diagnosed as localized histiocytic sarcoma with pulmonary metastasis and disseminated histiocytic sarcoma, respectively.

Two cases of stomach mass and one case of tongue mass were observed in Japanese monkeys(Macaca fuscata) which were raised in Yong-in Farm Land. Histologically, two spontaneous tumors were found in the cardiac region of the stomach and were diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma. These tumors had invaded the submucosa, muscular layer and serosa, but metastasis was not found in the other tissues including the lymph node. One spontaneous tongue mass was diagnosed as squamous cell carcinoma.

A 13-year-old female Miniature Pincher was euthanized after suffering from respiratory insufficiency and seizure. At necropsy, firm tan masses approsimately 4 to 5 cm in diameter were noted at the right caudal love and left cranial lobe of the lung. On cross sections of the cerebellum and the verebrum, several compressive firm round masses, 0.5 to 1 cm in diameter, were noted. similar looking nodules were also present in the mediastinal lymph nodes. Histopathologically, the neoplastic masses consisted of cuboidal shape epithelial cells that form glandular structure. The neoplastic cells have hyperchromatic nuclei with prominent nucleoli and moderate amount of cytoplasm. The degree of mitosis was high (4-6/400X). Multiple areas of necrosis, hemorrhage, and tumor emboli were also noted. Metastasis to the mediastinal lymph nodes, pancreas, and brain was confirmed. Based on the gross and histopathologic examinations, a diagnosis of primary metastatic pulmonary adenocarcinoma was made. Clinicaly recognized neurological signs were therefore due to brain metastasis.

Shop drawing tasks conducted after finishing coordinated or engineering design have great influences on the quality and cost of a project. However, despite the development of commercial BIM applications, shop drawings have mainly produced manually in certain engineering fields. Incorrect shop drawings with human errors have occurred various problems such as cost overrun, time delay and reworks. An automated shop drawing publishing from BIM is expected to resolve these problems. Despite attempts for automate shop drawing production, the field of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) is yet regarded challenging due to complexity of components and connection. In this research, we develop a process for automated producing 3D MEP shop drawings in BIM environment as following steps: to analyze conventional MEP shop drawing process, to identify detailed process that can be automated, to classify existing MEP objects and assign codes usable in BIM, and to develop an application. The validation of automated process is conducted against 10 clean room projects in which MEP is more complex and its cost is higher than other projects in terms of productivity and workers' satisfaction. Results show that the number of manpower for shop drawing is reduced by 30%, and the working time is shortened by 31%. Personal opinions of involved practitioners is interpreted as positive as the average rate of agrement on practicability, easy-to-use and necessary retouch tasks is around 66%.

A 17-year-old female tiger (Panthera tigris altica) was found dead after suffering from continuously growing mass at the right mammary gland area. At necropsy, a firm tan mass approximately 25 cm in diameter was noted at the ventral abdomen. The mass was not fixed to the adjacent tissue and mottled tan to red on cut sections. Chains of similar nodules ranging from 2 to 5 cm in diameter were also present along the right mammary glands region. Histologically, the neoplastic masses consisted of lobules that were filled with pleomorphic neoplastic cells and separated by fibrious conntective tissue. The neoplastic cells have hyperchromatic nuclei with prominent nucleolus and moderate amount of cytoplasm. The degree of mitosis was high. Multiple areas of necrosis, hemorrhage, mineralization and tumor emboli were also noted. Metastasis to the regional lymph nodes, lung, liver, spleen, kidney, and adrenal gland were observed. Based on the gross and histopathologic examinations, a diagnosis of lobular type metastatic mammary gland carcinoma was made.

A neutered male, 8-year-old, Pekingese, weighing 4.3 kg with a history of anorexia, sneezing, nasal discharge, and epistaxis for one month was referred. Soft tissue swelling around the nasal bone and small defects of the hard palate with a tiny round dark red mass were found on physical examination. The laboratory tests represented mild leukocytosis. On skull radiographs, soft tissue swelling and osteolytic change of the incisor bone, nasal bone, and maxilla were found. On computed tomography scan images, there was soft tissue attenuating opacity with calcified spots in the bilateral nasal cavities and frontal sinuses. Loss of nasal turbinate pattern and nasal septum was found. And destruction of the insicor bone, nasal bone, maxilla, hard palate, perpendicular palatine bone, and cribriform plate were identified. Nasal malignant melanoma was confirmed by nasal biopsy.

Tumor masses from a Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris) of 13 years in age raised at the natural farm in Yong-In were examined grossly and microscopically. The tumors were observed in the subcutis, lung, heart, liver, pancreas, kidney, cecum and spleen. Histologically the tumors were composed of solid anaplastic cells that formed mature or immature small blood vessels and invaded the adjacent parenchyma. The nuclei of the tumor cells were large, vacuolated, and round or ovoid, sometimes dense and ovoid or spindle. The mitotic figures were common and the boundaries between the cells were indistinct. The stroma was very sparse. A diagnosis of this case was made as hemangiosarcoma on the basis of gross and microscopic features.
