퇴행성 슬관절염 환자에 대한 수정된 대퇴사두근과 슬괵근 운동의 동시수축 효과

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to investigate a modified maneuver for quadriceps setting exercise for patients with knee osteoarthritis. Methods:The patients were randomly divided into a modified maneuver for quadriceps setting exercise group (MQG) and conventional quadriceps setting exercise group(CQG). Total of 28 patients received a modality with training for 1 hour, three times a week for 12 weeks. Results:Each group showed significant reductions in the WOMAC(Western Ontario McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis) Index, mobility, and muscle strength after 12 weeks. In pain, physical function, and hamstring muscle strength, there was a statistically significant difference between groups. Conclusion:According to the results, MQG experienced less pain, physical function, and increased more hamstring muscle strength than NQG.
Homo형 발효 및 Hetero형 발효 젖산균의 사용이 사일리지의 품질 및 호기적 안정성에 미치는 효과 : 메타분석

본 연구에서는 메타분석을 통하여 heterofermentative과 homofermentative LAB가 사일리지의 품질과 호기적 안정성에 대한 효과를 분석하였다. 일련의 분석결과 접종균으로 사용된 젖산균의 종류에 따라서 사일리지의 품질이 다르게 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 호기적 안정성에 있어서 heterofermentative LAB의 사용이 매우 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구결과는 사일리지의 제조 목적 및 사용방법에 따라서 접종균주를 다르게 선발하여야 하며, 사용방법에 따라서 사일리지 내 유기산 조성을 변화시킬 수 있는 발효조건이 필요함을 시사하고 있고, 또한 보다 정밀한 사일리지 발효기술에 대한 기초자료를 제공한다. In the silage quality, the process of fermentation and use of micro-organism as starter cultures are crucial. The present study investigated the effect of homo and heterofermentative lactic acid bacteria as a starter culture strain on the silage quality and its aerobic stability using meta-analysis. Total 19 studies were used in the analysis. According to the strains of lactic acid bacteria used, experimental groups were assigned to heterofermentative (HEL), mixture of hetero and homofermentative (HHO), homofermentative (HOL) and various homofermentative (HOM). In each experimental group, standardized result of the treatment (with inoculant) was compared with the control (without inoculant) using risk ratio calculation method. The effect of experimental group was also compared. Different starter culture strains did not influence on silage pH and propionic acid production. However, lactic acid and acetic acid production were significantly (p<0.05) influenced by the start culture strains. HOM showed the greatest lactic acid production and HEL was the lowest. In contrast, HEL showed the greatest in acetic acid production and HOM and HOL were the lowest. In terms of ammonia nitrogen, HHO produced more (p<0.05) than the rest of the treatment. In crude protein and water soluble carbohydrate contents, there were no significant effects among treatments. Different strain of lactic acid bacteria significantly influenced on the effect of aerobic stability (p<0.05). Use of heterofermentative showed greater aerobic stability and the use of homofermentative lactic acid bacteria.

Gait analysis is the best objective measurement tool for monitoring rehabilitation. However, it has limitations to evaluate gait recovery. Previous studies have evaluated the effect of gait training using continuous relative phase. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of gait recovery by rehabilitation gait training on lower limb coordination. We analyzed spatio-temporal parameters and CRP values of hip and knee joints based on gait analysis data obtained by 3D motion analysis system at 15 days intervals in 24 uni-lateral transfemoral amputees participated in IRP. Our results revealed that walking velocity of uni-lateral transfemoral amputees who participated in the program during a mean of 107.1 days was 49.2% faster than that at initial stage. The walking velocity showed a 46% increase at the end of 30 days after training. In gait coordination, values of CRP-RMS and CRP-SD were increased and maintained in-phase pattern. CRP showed symmetry in both limbs at the end of 90 days after training. Therefore, CRP is a significant factor in the gait recovery process. Effects of various rehabilitation training methods can be determined through CRP analysis.
증강현실 기반 신체운동이 고령자의 보행속도 및 균형능력에 미치는 영향

Augmented reality (AR) technology has high expectations for use in the field of exercise rehabilitation to prevent falls and improve health in older adults; however, most studies have been conducted on older adults with physical disabilities. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed changes in walking and balance ability after a training intervention to verify the effectiveness of AR-based physical training in older adults. Participants were 16 healthy older adults; experimental and control groups underwent AR-based physical exercise and general physical exercise, respectively, for eight weeks. The results showed that, compared with the control group, walking speed and cadence were significantly increased, and the performance times of timed up and go, figure-of-8 walking, and four square step tests were significantly decreased in the experimental group. Our results indicated that AR-based physical training was more effective than traditional training in improving the walking speed and balance ability in older adults and was expected to be used as an intervention method to prevent falls and improve their physical health.
