In this study, the microstructural modification of pulsed laser deposited La0.6Sr0.4CoO3-δ (LSC64) thin-film cathodes for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) to improve the lateral conduction and to reduce the surface composition degradation is investigated. A high-temperature deposited 100 nm-thick denser LSC64 layer is added over 2.4 μm-thick porous cathode to cover and bridge the cathode domains. According to the cell performance analyses using current-voltage-power measurements, the performance of the cell modified with an additional denser layer is increased compared with the cell without the denser layer in all operating temperature range. The degree of improvement of peak power density is bigger than 10% at 650- 550 °C and is about 6% at 500 °C. This performance enhancement can be attributed to the electrochemical property improvement, especially oxygen surface exchange property, rather than to the conduction improvement, based on the electrochemical impedance analysis. Improved crystallinity and composition integrity of the denser LSC64 layer is considered to enhance the surface exchange property of the cathode.

Vehicles are the most easily access and have high utilization rate for human mobility. Vehicles generally are driven owner oneself, but they may use public transportation such as bus or taxi. In the case of carsharing, it is difficult to take care of management because several people operate one vehicle. The car has an air conditioning system, which filters out dust through a filter. However it is hard to recirculate the air in the car thoroughly and bacteria may breed with dust of the system. In this study, the properties of anti-bacterial polypropylene for application to automotive interior parts were researched. The base resin is polypropylene added to copper sulfide which have anti-baterial properties. It was analyzed mechanical material according to the amount of copper sulfide added to verify for useing interior part in vehicle. As a result of molding the integral defroster part with anti-bacterial polypropylene, although there was a change in the injection conditions it was confirmed that there was no problem in production.

The pattern of urban improvement blindly followed the logic of two-dimensional land utilization without being informed of the three-dimensional relationship between buildings and the urban external space, nor of the complexity of human behavior. As a result, the quality of both the urban external space has been severely compromised. The design proposed here is formulated though a definition the basic of the city as an organism. By means of the symbiosis theory which outline the basic order of the ecosystem including human beings, this design attempts to relate more closely buildings to the three-dimensional spaces. This design attempts to provide a way to recover the vitality of the city. This design of a shows the application of a computer program and the regular polyhedral transformation which is one of the organization principles in the realm of nature.

Musculoskeletal injury is the most common cause of children visiting the department of emergency medicine. Since the bone is still developing, pediatric patients have characteristic radiological manifestations, including plastic deformation, greenstick fractures, and buckle (or torus) fractures. Furthermore, growth arrest can occur in those with physeal fractures. Various mechanisms are responsible for pediatric musculoskeletal injury since children have different ranges of activities, depending on their age, such as birth injury and fall and traffic accidents. Some fractures have characteristic locations and radiological manifestations. In this review, we will discuss various radiological manifestations of fractures involving both upper and lower limbs in pediatric patients. 근골격계의 외상은 소아가 응급실로 내원하는 가장 흔한 원인 중에 하나이다. 소아에서 뼈는아직 완전히 골화가 되지 않았기 때문에 불완전 골절(소성변형, 생나무 골절, 죔쇠 골절)과 같이 성인과는 다른 영상의학적 특성을 보이기도 하며, 성장판의 손상으로 인해 성장 장애를유발하기도 한다. 소아는 연령에 따라서 활동 범위나 활동 양상이 다르기 때문에 분만 손상에서부터 낙상, 교통사고에 이르기까지 다양한 기전에 의해서 골절이 발생하며, 각각의 손상기전에 따라 특징적인 골절의 발생 부위 및 골절의 형태를 보이기도 한다. 본 종설에서는 소아의 다양한 근골격계 외상 중 소아에서 흔하게 볼 수 있는 사지 골절의 영상의학적 특성에대해서 고찰해보고자 한다.
