Currently, dissection of the axillary or regional lymph nodes is considered the standard staging procedure in breast cancer. However, accumulating evidence is becoming available that the sentinel node concept may provide the same or even better staging information. In the case of melanoma, it is proven that the histoiogical characteristics of the sentinel node reflect the histological characteristics of the distal part of the lymphatic basin. Morbidity can be reduced significantly by the use of sentinel node dissection as several authors have reported successful introduction of this technique into clinical practice. But in breast cancer patients, there are signigicant differences in practice relating to the technology, such as radiopharmaceuticals, injection sites, volume of injectate, combination with vital blue dye, preoperative lymphoscintigraphy, etc. Valuable reports on these topics appeared in recent journals. This review is a summary of those reports for nuclear physicians interested in sentinel node detection by lymphoscintigraphy in breast cancer patients.

Korea is now one of the countries to ratify the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods ('Vienna Convention') which was prepared by the UNCITRAL and which took effect as the law of the land on January1, 1988. The Vienna Convention came into effect on and after March 1, 2005 in Korea. In turn, this article deals with the Korean's better understanding of new regulations and circumstances of international sale of goods. In this article, the author briefly explains and reviews the major characteristics of the Vienna Convention which is divided into five parts. In the first Part One, the introduction deals with the reasons of the review of the Vienna Convention in Korea. In Part Two, several legal issues such as the uniform law in international sales, choice of law issues and effects and functions of the Vienna Convention are briefly discussed. The most important part in the article is the Part Three which deals with contents of the Vienna Convention. In this part, the author examines each of (1) field and general provision, (2) sales contract formation, (3) sales of goods(rights and obligations of the seller and the buyer, passing of risk, remedies for breach, interest, exemption, non-judicial remedies, etc.) and (4) final provisions of the Vienna Convention. The Part Four deals with the applicable field and the application of the Vienna Convention which consists of (1) application of the convention, (2) application between contracting states, (3) application between contracting and non- contacting states, (3) principle application between non-contracting states and (4) exceptional application between non-contracting states. Finally, the author concludes the review of the Vienna Convention with some recommendations in the Part Five. Yet the Vienna Convention remains unknown territory for most law students, lawyers and contracting parties in Korea. The author strongly suggest them to understand the new convention and to consider how much it is important to protect their rights and profits.

This study was carried out to analysis the degradation rate of the organic materials and the variation of the microorganism population by the temperature changing The object of this study is to suggest foundational data for the application of mechanical composting of urban solid wastes From this study on the comparison of the composting process of urban solid wastes by the temperature changing, the results are as follows 1. In case of the composting index, VS(Volatile Solid), C/N ratio and CO₂evacuation rate in reactor Ⅱ which is aerated with constant aeration rate are higher than reactor I which is autothermal reactor with a constant temperature at 50℃ Microorganism populations of psychrophilic bacteria, mesophilic bacceria and thermophilic bacteria of reactor I are higher than those of reactor II. 2. In case of the degradation of the organic materials, Carbohydrate is degraded actively over 55℃, but lipid and protein are degraded high below 50℃ 3. In first stage of the composting, component of carbohydrate(42.18%) is higher than protein(29.54%) and lipid(19.93%), but component of carbohydrate and lipid decreased during composting because of the high degradation rate. Whereas, component of protein increased because of the low degradation rate.
Korea’s New Challenge to the Internet-only Banking System
김병태 은행법학회 2015 은행법연구 Vol.8 No.2
Internet-only banks mean banks which have no branches at all. These internet-only banks have some obvious advantages, such as no branch maintenance, fewer personnel costs, no paper, and no time and place limitations. Eventually, the Financial Services Commission which is a bank supervisory committee in Korea has announced the introduction plan for the internet-only banking system in Korea on June 19, 2015. According to the FSC’s plan, the FSC takes a two-track approach for internet-only banks at this time: (i) pilot operation of one or two internet-only banks under the current Banking Act of Korea, and (ii) additional licenses for more diverse companies after a revision to the Banking Act of Korea. Since internet-only banks are broadly one of commercial banks under the Banking Act of Korea, the same standards for commercial banks should be also basically applied to internet-only banks. However, some exceptions and different regulations should be necessary in order to achieve the purposes of introducing internet-only banking system in Korea. In particular, even though the FSC intends to offer internet-only banks almost all the services that general banks provide from deposits and lending to foreign exchange through Web and mobile platforms, it seems to be desirable that the scope of business for internet-only banks is limited to certain businesses for their IT related and specific purposes.
