        청소년 개발 전략 : 청소년의 이해와 민간단체의 역할을 중심으로 Centered on the understanding of the youngster and the role of civil community

        1. The development plan of children and youngsters is needed to understand the character on the growth of youngsters and occasional special situation correctly. 2. The related authorities should be recognized the exact actual-condition of youngsters, especially laboring-youngsters. Accordingly, suggest the establishment of youngster-office. 3. Korea has to invest on the direction of industrialization maintaing the demand and balance of man-power of Korea. 4. The long synthetic plan should be established and propelled positively. 5. It requires the efficiency of professional education. 6. The step of the welfare-betterment for poor youngsters should be forced urgently. 7. The cooperation structure of the related authorities should be founded and many participation of voluntary leader should used.

      • 高麗成宗의 敎育政策 : 地方 敎育强化를 通한 儒敎道德實踐 Practice of Confucian Morals by the Strengthening of the Provincial Education

        The educational system in the Koryo dynasty was established during the reign of king Seong Jong. The establishment took almost 80 years owing to the general tendency toward "Strong subjects with weak sovereigns", with the power of the clans flourishing. However, the power of the king began to become consolidated by the 4th King Kwang Jong through adopting the Civil Service method, through conducting a public service examination, instead of appointing military people to civilian posts. Based on this examination system, the centralization of administration power was established by King seong Jong. In order to enforce the centralization effectively, he both supported the provincial education and commended filial sons and women of virtue officially. In other words, he used the Conjucian moral system as a governing policy and could control the people easily. furthermore, the inspiration of "filial piety" through the provincial education became an epochal circumstance, by means of which Confucian ethics came to be prevalent in our country.

        It is widely accepted that Cho Chun and Chong To-jon were two representative subjects and scholars who rendered distinguished services in the establishment of the Yi-Dynasty, the former in the sector of economy and the latter in the sector of thought Many detalied studies have been made about Chong To-jon, but not many about Cho chun, although the two scholars are equally important in understanding the historical backgrounds of the shift of regime. This study thus aimed first to reveal as many hiden facts about Cho Chun's career as possible, but the results seem to be not so satisfactory. Some of the main results could however, be summed up as follows: 1) We could estimate in view of Cho Chun's case that even a competent descendant of an influential family had many difficulties in gaining access to the core of the governmental position if his family was once excluded from the current government in power. 2) Cho Chun chose to take the way of revolution because he understood well that it was impossible to renovate the Koryo Dynasty in the manner of reformation. 3) He could rise to a higher position under the protection of General Choi yong, but he parted with him to join General Yi Song-gye when he noticed that it was not possible to establish a new regime with the former,. 4) At the time of the transition there was also influential power supporting the old regime in that Cho Chun was once condemned to exile in the 4th year of King Kongyang.

      • 朝鮮王朝 建國의 硏究 : Based on Cho Chun's Role 趙浚의 活躍을 中心으로

        This study aims to view the transitional period between the fall of the Koryo Dynasty and the establishment of the Yi Dynasty through Cho Chun, who played an important role in the shift of dynasty. 1) It is will known that the weakness of the late Koryo Dynasty was ascribed to the disorder in the land system sand the prevalence of corruption. The nobility were concerned about expanding their private land without paying any attention to the national wealth and the public welfare, thus causing the situation in which the peasantry even fell into the state of slavery. In order to save this situation of disorder the Koryo government attempted to take some vitalizing measures, e.g., the appointment of new faces who had no connections with the powers and the nobility, as we see in the case of Shin Don. But this final attempt failed in the face of the sudden assassination of King Kongmin. 2) To be specific, this study attempts to mak a generalization about the growth and advance of the class of distinguished lineage which was the main stream of the new dynasty establishment. Cho Chun was in fact a descendant of an influential family, which was excluded from the current govermental power. This is why he had to depend on his own efforts to get ahead as most of the rising officials at the time did. This study also examines the process in which Cho Chun's early plan of reformation gave priority to the national wealth and the public welfare but was gradually transformed into the one for the high class. 3) Among the 9 who participated together with Yi Song-gye in the supporting of King King Kongyany, only Cho Chun and Chong To-jon were entitled to the meritorious retainers at the establishment of the new dynasty. After the Yi Dynasty began Cho Chun rose to the position of Prime Minister and became a possessor of huge private land. This shows that he already beggan to turn actualist. However, after parting with Chong To-jon and Nam Eun later, he found himself placed in a position against the meritorious retainers group he himself once belonged to. This is why in his later years Cho Chun had to be engaged in some minor positions only.

        건학정신에 나타난 한국대학 교육이념의 성격과 구조

        This study was concerned with examining characteristics and structure of educational ideology which was represented in the spirit of university foundation in Korea. This study examined the educational ideology in terms of traditional view and contemporary view of university. The major research method was bulletin analysis with 144 universities and survey with 1,593 college students. In particular, the spirits of university foundation were classified into three types in relation to the 108th provision of Education Act. lt was found that the percentage of universities with the original spirit of foundation came up to 55.5%. Most of educational ideologies of universities with the original spirit of foundation were closely related with emotional and personal characteristics and were too abstract to have any practical and useful meaning. But according to the survey with college students, the Korean university has been managed on the basis of the view of university as a means of social upward mobility and has practical and useful meaning. The contradiction between educational ideology represented in the spirit of university foundation and that extracted from survey means that the spirit of university foundation isn't based on the actual situation.
