        In order to let our country, industry, and education fields realize the importance and necessity of design as well as promote the design to them, we need a tool to understand the current status of design industry through scientific and systematic methods, which is also be recognized by Industrial Design Prompotion Act. Since the 1997 survey, a total of five times has been done by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP)through utilizing various basic materials of related policies. The study is comparing the survey in 2007 with that in 2009 through focus on the design industry, which examines the overall study subjects, duration, scope ,target and methods by analysing survey overview, examines the question of the overall configuration item, the number of items, detailed configuration by analysing survey questions, and examines if there is any change in the size of the design industry, the number of design-related companies, the internationalization status of design field, the distribution of design companies, customer awareness of the design, design-related resources and system by analysing the survey results.

      • 고무 부쉬를 활용한 캘리퍼 커버 체결 방법 연구

        Brake caliper is a critical component that applies braking force by pressing pistons against the brake disc. While caliper is primarily designed for functionality, external coating and design are also considered for caliper appearance. Caliper cover is an accessory that can be attached to the caliper to enhance its external appearance independent of caliper function. This cover is made of lightweight materials and designed with various colors and lettering. The attachment method and potential interference with other caliper components should be carefully considered to ensure proper assembly and attachment strength for caliper cover. In this paper, we study about caliper cover attachment method using rubber bush which offers advantages compared to other attachment methods. Caliper cover design is developed with consideration for aluminum die-casting productivity and avoiding interference with other caliper components. Assembly, detachment force and vibration durability tests are conducted using four combinations of caliper body and caliper cover samples. Through these test results, we confirmed the feasibility and effectiveness of the rubber bush attachment method for caliper cover.

        연구논문 : C2C12 근육세포의 산화적 손상에 대한 홍경천-홍삼 추출물 혼합액 발효물의 보호효과

        본 연구에서는 피로 회복 또는 원기 외복에 효능이 있는 것으로 알려진 홍경천과 홍삼을 이용하여 홍경천-홍삼 복합발효물의 산화적 손상 억제 효과를 평가하고자 H202로 산화적 스트레스를 유도시킨 C2C12 근육세포에 홍경천-홍삼 복합 발효물의 처리한후, 세포의 morphology, cell viability 및 항산화 효소들의 유전자 발현 양상을 비교, 분석하였다. 홍경천-홍삼 복합 발효물은 C2C12 근육세포의 cell viability를 유의적으로 증가시켰으며, Cu/Zn-SOD, Mn-SOD 및 GPx등과 같은 세포내 한산화 효소의 발현을 증가시킬 뿐만 아니라, 근육세포 분화의 주요 전사인자인 Myo D의 발현 또한 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과로, 홍경천-홍삼 복합 발효물은 세포내 항산화 효소 시스템을 증가시켜 외부로부터의 산화적 손상에 대한 방어효능을 갖는 것으로 나타났으며, 향후 in vivo 시스템 이용한 추가적인 연구가 수행된다면, 홍경천- 홍삼 복합 발효물을 이용한 항피로 건강기능식품의 소재개발이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. Rhodiola spp. and red ginseng have been used for food and medicinal applications in disease chemoprevention in many Asian countries. Increased oxidative stress by reactive oxygen species (ROS) has been proposed to be a major cause of muscle fatigue. The present study was designed to investigate the protective effects of a fermented hot-water extract mixture from Rhodiola sachalinensis and red ginseng (MFR) on cell damage and the antioxidant enzyme system in H2O2-induced oxidative stress in skeletal muscle cells. C2C12 myoblasts were treated with various concentrations of NFR (non-fermented Rhodiola sachalinensis extract), FR (fermented hot-water extract from Rhodiola sachalinensis) and MFR for up to 5 days after the standard induction of differentiation, followed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR. MFR treatment dose-dependently protected oxidative damage of C2C12 cells. The treatment with MFR also enhanced mRNA expressions of MyoD, Cu/Zn SOD, Mn-SOD and GPX up to 16%. These results indicate that MFR exerts an anti-oxidative effect through a mechanism (s) that may involve the up-regulation of antioxidant enzymes, which may be important for the cellular redox environment in muscle cells.

        열 태양광 발전을 위한 원형 홀 패턴의 Metal-Dielectric-Metal 선택형 방사체

        본 연구에서는 열 태양광 발전을 위한 원형 홀 패턴의 Metal-Dielectric-Metal 선택형 방사체를 제안한다. 텅스텐과 산화 알루미늄을 구조체 전체적으로 사용하여 내열성을 확보하였다. 설계 변수의 변화에 따른 흡수/방사 특성을 분석하였고, 이를 통해 InGaAs 셀의 높은 변환 효율을 갖는 파장 대역에서 선택적으로 높은 방사율을 갖는 구조체를 형성하였다. 높은 흡수/방사의 파장 대역에서 텅스텐 원형 홀패턴의 가장자리 주변에서 국부적으로 발생하는 표면 플라즈몬 공명이 발생하였다. 이러한 공명은 루프형태의 유도 전류를 형성함으로써 자기장을 유전체 층에 가두는 효과가 있다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 선택형 방사체의 스펙트럼 효율은 1000K에서 41.0%, 1300K에서 63.7 %였다. 이는 동일한 온도의 흑체보다 각각 5배, 3배 높은 효율을 보였다. In this study, we propose a thermophotovoltaic circular hole pattern Metal-Dielectric-Metal selective emitter. Tungsten and aluminum oxides are used to ensure heat resistance. By analyzing the absorption/emission characteristics per the change of design parameters, we obtain optimal design values that secure selectively high emissivity. Localized surface plasmon resonance occurs at the edge of the tungsten circular hole pattern in the high absorption/emission band. This resonance has the effect of confining the magnetic field to the dielectric layer by forming induced loop-like currents. The spectral efficiency of the proposed emitter is 41.0% at 1,000K and 63.7% at 1,300K. It showed five- and three-times higher efficiency, respectively, than the black-body of the same temperature.

        형용사 중첩의 강세에 대한 음운론적 고찰

        An adjective of Standard Chinese can expand its meaning by duplication. A duplicated adjective tends to strengthen its meaning. During the course of duplication, changes occur not only in its form but in its sound. The primary stress is given to the second syllable, which often changes to the first tone with retroflexion. A monosyllabic adjective can constitute a prosodic foot by duplication. The second syllable changes to the high level tone in order to make it more salient. The retroflexion seems to be caused by the influence from spoken Pekingese. The stress and change of tone in SC duplicated adjectives mean that SC is in the verge of changes. This study is significant because it sheds light to the in the duplicated adjectives while past studies often pay attention only to syntactic, typological, and morphological aspects of them.

        어머니의 미디어 리터러시가 유아의 이야기 이해력에 미치는 영향: 어머니의 스마트미디어 중재의 매개효과

        본 연구에서는 어머니의 미디어 리터러시가 유아의 이야기 이해력에 미치는 영향에서 어머니의 스마트미디어 중재의 매개효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 인천, 대구에 위치한 유치원, 어린이집에 재원 중인 만 5세 유아 123명과 그들의 어머니 123명을 대상으로 설문조사 및 검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 각 측정 변인들의 기술적 통계치를 산출하고, Pearson의 적률상관분석을 실시하여 각 변인 간의 상관관계를 알아보았으며 매개효과검증을 위해 회귀분석 및 Sobel test를 통한 매개변인의 통계적 유의성을 검증하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 어머니의 미디어 리터러시와 중재, 유아의 이야기 이해력은 정적 상관으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 비판적 리터러시가 유아의 이야기 이해력에 미치는 영향에서 어머니의 스마트미디어 중재유형 중 교육적 중재, 제한적 중재, 적극적 중재는 완전매개효과를 가졌다. 결론적으로 어머니가 미디어를 비판적으로 분석하고 이해하는 역량인 비판적 리터러시는 어머니의 교육적. 제한적, 적극적 미디어 중재를 통해 유아의 이야기 이해력에 정적으로 영향을 미쳤으며, 이상의 결과는 스마트미디어 시대에 유아를 위한 건강한 스마트미디어 이용 방침 마련 및 부모 미디어 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공한다. The purpose of this study is to examine the mediated effects of mothers' smart media mediation upon the influence of their media literacy on their children's story comprehension. The subjects included 123 five-year-olds children and their 123 mothers from kindergartens and child-care centers in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon and Daegu. Collected data were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, pearson's correlation. The mediating effect test proposed by Baron and Kenny(1986) was performed to test if mothers' smart media mediation would play a role as a mediating variable between their media literacy and children's story comprehension. Nest, the sobel test was employed to examine mediating variables for their statistical significance. The results of this study were as follows. First, there were positive correlations between media literacy, smart media mediation, and children's story comprehension. Second, the mediated effects of mothers' smart media mediation showed that their instructive, restrictive, and active mediation had full mediating effects upon the influence of critical literacy on their children's story comprehension. In conclusion, mothers' critical literacy their capabilities of analyzing and understanding the media critically had positive effects on young children's story comprehension through their instructive, restrictive, and active media mediation. These findings imply a need to develop a set of policies for young children's healthy smart media use and a group of media education programs for parents in the era of smart media, providing basic data for such policies and programs.

        쓴메밀 및 단메밀 에탄올 추출물의 항산화 및 지방세포 분화억제 효과

        In this study, 80% ethanolic extracts of tartary and common buckwheats were assessed for their total phenol content, total flavonoids content, antioxidant activity (DPPH, ABTS radical scavenging activity and reducing power), and anti-adipogenic effects. Our results show that total phenol contents of 80% ethanolic extract from tartary and common buckwheats were 17.35±0.41 and 8.20±0.28 μg GAE/g, respectively. Antioxidant activities of 80% ethanolic extract from tartary buckwheat were significantly higher than that of common buckwheat extract (p<0.05). During adipocyte differentiation, 80% ethanolic extracts of tartary and common buckwheat significantly inhibited lipid accumulation compared to control cells. We further evaluated the effect of buckwheat extracts on the changes of key gene expression associated with 3T3-L1 adipogenesis and ROS production. Tartary buckwheat extract was more suppressed the mRNA expressions (PPARγ and aP2) than that of common buckwheat extract. Moreover, tartary buckwheat inhibited the mRNA expression of both NOX4 (NADPH oxidase 4) and G6PDH (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase). These results indicate that anti-adipogenesis effect of tartary buckwheat can be attributed to phenolic compound that may potentially inhibit ROS production.
