The dissociation constants of 2-, 3- and 4-acetylpyridine were measured by conductometric method in the temperature range from 15 to 40℃ and pressure up to 2,500bar. The dissociation constants of these substituted pyridines were increased as the temperature increase but decrease as the pressure. From the data thermodynamic properties were calculated and the Hammett plat were obtained. From these properties the characteristic properties of the dissociation reaction were discussed.

치환나프톨류(4-Cl-1-Naphthol, 6-Br-2-Naphthol, 8-NH_2-2-Naphthol)의 해리상수를 온도(25∼40℃)와 압력(1∼2000 bar)을 변화시키면서 분광학적 방법으로 측정했다. 이들의 해리상수는 치환기가 들어가므로서 모두 감소했다. 이것은 치환기의 I-효과로서 설명이 가능했으며 또 온도와 압력이 증가하면 해리상수도 증가하였다. 이들 해리상수로부터 반응의 열역학적 성질을 계산하여 반응의 성질을 알아보았다. The dissociation constants of 4-Cl-1-naphthol, 6-Br-2-naphthol, 8-NH_2-2-naphthol in aqueous solution were measured by spectroscopic method in the temperature range from 25 to 40℃ and pressure up to 2000bar. The dissociation constants were decreased as the substituents were inserted in naphthol from 4.4×10 exp(-10) to 5.82×10 exp(-11) as chloride compound and 2.5×10 exp(-10) to 3.44×10 exp(-11) or 4.21×10 exp(-11) as bromine or amino compounds, respectively. This decrease can be explained with the I- or R-effects of substituents. From the dissociation constants various thermodynamic properties were claculated and discussed the characteristics of the dissociation reaction.

The shift of dissociation constants of methylptridines from pyridine were explained by the I-effect and cooperative effect of the methyl groups. From the dissociation constants various thermodynamic properties were calculated and discussed the characteristics of the dissociation reactions.

金屬실리콘과 鹽化메틸을 鹽化第一구리를 觸媒로 하여 메틸실란을 合成하고 메틸실란을 加水分解하여 실록산의 被膜을 만드는 方法을 調査하였다. 이들 被膜이 文化財 保護被膜이 될 수 있는가를 檢討하기 爲해서 材料를 文化財의 材質인 몇 가지 物質에 適用하여 膜의 性能을 調査하였다. 特히 撥水效果, 汲水量 耐久性等을 調査하였으며 外觀上 아무런 變化가 없는 좋은 被膜이 될수 있다는 結果를 얻었다. The organohalogensilicone was synthesized metal silicone and methylchloride applying the direct synthetic method using copperous chloride as catalyzer. The synthesized organosilane was hydrolyzed to siloxane by various method and coated on various materials which are composed of the cultural assets. The coating film was examined to decide whether it is profitable one to protect the assets from efflorescence or air pollution. Referring to the water repellency, permiability of water and the weather test of the film it was qualified that this film was good enough to apply to the cultural assets as protecting film.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to elucidate the effect of a bovine hydroxyapatite/collagen (BHC) block in one-wall intrabony periodontal defects in dogs. Methods: A one-wall intrabony periodontal defect (4 mm wide and 5 mm deep) was prepared bilaterally at the mesial side of the mandibular fourth premolar in five beagle dogs. After thorough root planing, block-type BHC ($4{\times}5{\times}5$ mm) was placed on one side. The contralateral defect area did not receive any material as a sham-surgery control. Histological analysis of the sites was performed after an 8-week healing period. Results: Two of five samples in the experimental group healed well without dissipation of the graft materials, and histological analysis revealed excellent regeneration of the periodontal tissues. However, most of the grafted materials had been displaced in the other three samples, leaving only a small portion of the graft. The measured parameters exhibited large standard deviations, and the mean values did not differ significantly between the experimental and sham-surgery control sides. Conclusions: The application of BHC alone-without a barrier membrane-to wide, one-wall intrabony periodontal defects yielded inconsistent results regarding both periodontal regeneration and substantivity of the graft materials. Thus, the use of a barrier membrane for noncontained-type defects is recommended to improve the stability of the grafted material, and to condense it.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to elucidate the role of collagen membranes (CMs) when used in conjunction with bovine hydroxyapatite particles incorporated with collagen matrix (BHC) for lateral onlay grafts in dogs. Methods: The first, second, and third premolars in the right maxilla of mongrel dogs (n=5) were extracted. After 2 months of healing, two BHC blocks ($4mm{\times}4mm{\times}5mm$) were placed on the buccal ridge, one with and one without the coverage by a CM. The animals were sacrificed after 8 weeks for histometric analysis. Results: The collagen network of the membranes remained and served as a barrier. The quantity and quality of bone regeneration were all significantly greater in the membrane group than in the no-membrane group (P<0.05). Conclusions: The use of barrier membranes in lateral onlay grafts leads to superior new bone formation and bone quality compared with bone graft alone.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate histologically and compare the healing of three-wall defects using xenogeneic demin-eralized bone matrix putty (xDBM putty), porousb-tricalcium phosphate (b-TCP), or newly developed non-crystalline calciumphosphate glass around submerged SLA (Sand blasted with Large-grit and Acid Etched) surface dental implants in dogs. All ofthe treatment groups in this study showed no histologic evidence of new bone formation around implants or of bone to implantcontact originating from grafted material. No benecial eects on osseointegration in intrabony defects around implants was attrib-uted to the use of these grafting materials..
