        The Purpose of this study is the provide basic data for bowlers by analyzing the kinematical variables of throwing motion to the male pro bowler using 3-dimensional image analysis method. This researcher took the pictures with a video camera, analyzed them using the Kwon 3D program. 1×4×2m control object installed to get a 3 dimensional space coordinates. Results were as follows. 1. It was indicated that the trunk angle did not change left and right. Back and forth from stance to release motions of three subjects, and the average angle of trunk angle at the stance and that at the tabular side were 19.5˚ and 14.6˚ respectively, which showed they did not deviated from well-known range of forward direction, 15-20˚ and lateral direction 10-15˚. Also the trunk angle of release motion was average 17.1˚ for thalamus side, 41.3˚ for tabular side. 2. It was indicated that the knee angle repeated the increase and decrease to a small degree from the first to the fourth phase, the average angle of left knee at the release motion, the sixth phase was 110.8˚, which was higher than generally known 90˚.

        인터넷 벤처비즈니스 평가체계에 관한 연구

        Riding on the wave of the information technology revolution, a slew of internet venture businesses(IVB) came into being. Hence, one of the recent deveopments in Korean capital market has been the proliferation of IVB, which is in accordance with the worldwide trend of 'new economy'. Although the fair valuation is crucial for the nourishment of IVB. It is difficult to apply traditional valuation methods to these firms without reservation. It is due to the facts that most venture firms have little records of performance, grow unprecedently fast, and have highly uncertain future. The main purpose of this study is to suggest performance evaluation system of IVB and to develop KPI(Key Performance Indicators). Our empirical study is based upon Kaplan & Norton's Balance Scorecard (BSC) approach. Specifically, our research has been conducted by the following two subsequent procedures: Firstly, seven internet venture firms have been selected and their executives have been interviewed by FGI(Focus Group Interview) method. Based upon these results, performance indicators been developed. Secondly, by using the above mentioned BSC items(i.e., financial perspective, customer perspective, internal perspective and innovation & learning perspective), questionnaires have been costructed and sent to IVB through e-mail as well as over the Fax. Among the collected 110 samples, reliable 106 samples have been used to build BSC model and to draw our conclusion. In the future study. It would be much better to consider the role of strategy in IVB and the causal relationships among Key Performance Indicators of BSC.

      • 柔道技術 중 허벅다리걸기의 運動學的 特性

        This study has been aimed to analyze UCHIMATE technique of Judo gymnastically. The following are the results and the proposition obtained through an image analysis method 3 men half heavy weight champions of the national Judo standing team(85-95kg) were used as subjects for the study. 1. CONCLUSION The following are the conclusion obtained through the discussion of analysis results of the Uchimata technique using 3 men, half heavy weight(85-95kg) champions of the National standing Judo team. 1) The time performing total technique were 1.48-seconds which was performinglonger than the light heavy weight class of 1.28-seconds by 0.20-seconds, this showed that the heavy weight class players demonstrated the technique later than the light heavy weight class palyers. 2) The average length of moving 1-step leg for attacking was 24.27cm, and 2-step leg moving was 92.87cm on average. Therefore, the shorter the moving distance, the more the technique performing hour could be shortened. 3) In the hanging phase, the moving displacement of the center of gravity of the body weight showed in horizontal, vertical, right and left direction 28.97cm, 21.59cm and 13.57cm respectively. Each of which were longer than the phase of KUZUSHI and TSUKURI. Such results show that the center of gravity of the body in move lift the opponent. This reducing the displacement of body weight from the center toward the right and left direction in the phase of KAKE is considered to be effective in demonstrationg the technique. 4)The central speed of the body was 0.8cm per second on average and the average vertical speed was 0.74cm per second. The speed of right and left movement was 0.51cm per second on average which showed the horizontal speed was the fastest while it is preferred that the vertical speed should be faster than that of the horizontal. 5) Angle of the Trunk showed 98.13 ˚ on average in the hanging phase and the larger the trunk angle, the shorter the needed time to demonstrate the technique, thus making the throw of the opponent over shoulder more advantageous. 2. PROPOSTION The following propositions are suggested through this analysis for further study : 1) It is to be considered that the kinetics in hanging the thigh and the degree of every segment of the body be studied in a more detailed fashion. 2) A study on the technique of thigh hanging in an actual game situation (rather than during mere exercises) is necessary. 3) It is necessary to study the TORI and UKE techniques together. 4) The study of each weight class ought to be performed.

        Microorganisms producing bioemulsifier were isolated from the sea water in Pusan costal aera. The isolated strain which had the highest emulsification activity and stability was identified as the genus Acinetobacter from the results of morphological, cultural and biochemical tests and named Acinetobacter sp. EL-C6 for convinience. The compositions of optimum medium for emulsification of crude oil by Acinetobacter sp. EL-C6 were crude oil 2%, NH_4NO_3 0.2%, K_2HPO_4 0.01%, MgSO_4·7H_2O 1%, CaCl_2·2H_2O 0.1%, NaCl 3% and the initial pH 7.5. The cultivation for emulsification of crude oil was carried out in 500m1 shaking flask containing 100m1 of the optimum medium at 30℃. The highest emulsification was observed after 5 days. The utilization on the various hydrocarbon of the Acinetobacter sp. EL-C6 was showed that the utilization of n-alkane compounds were better than that of aromatic compounds. Among the petroleum compounds, by Acinetobacter sp. EL-06.

        Heat Shock 70-kDa Protein 8 Isoform 1 Is Expressed on the Surface of Human Embryonic Stem Cells and Downregulated upon Differentiation

        <P>The cell-surface markers used routinely to define the undifferentiated state and pluripotency of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) are those used in mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs) because of a lack of markers directly originated from hESC itself. To identify more hESC-specific cell-surface markers, we generated a panel of monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) by immunizing the irradiated cell clumps of hESC line Miz-hES1, and selected 26 MAbs that were able to bind to Miz-hES1 cells but not to mESCs, mouse embryonic fibroblast cells, and STO cells. Most antibodies did not bind to human neural progenitor cells derived from the Miz-hES1 cells, either. Of these, MAb 20-202S (IgG1, kappa) immunoprecipitated a cell-surface protein of 72-kDa from the lysate of biotin-labeled Miz-hES1 cells, which was identified to be heat shock 70-kDa protein 8 isoform 1 (HSPA8) by quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry. Immunocytochemical analyses proved that the HSPA8 protein was also present on the surface of hESC lines Miz-hES4, Miz-hES6, and HSF6. Two-color flow cytometric analysis of Miz-hES1 and HSF6 showed the coexpression of the HSPA8 protein with other hESC markers such as stage-specific embryonic antigen 3 (SSEA3), SSEA4, TRA-1-60, and TRA-1-81. Flow cytometric and Western blot analyses using various cells showed that MAb 20-202S specifically bound to the HSPA8 protein on the surface of Miz-hES1, contrary to other anti-HSP70 antibodies examined. Furthermore, the surface expression of the HSPA8 protein on Miz-hES1 was markedly downregulated upon differentiation. These data indicate that a novel MAb 20-202S recognizes the HSPA8 protein on the surface of hESCs and suggest that the HSPA8 protein is a putative cell-surface marker for undifferentiated hESCs.</P>

        Experimental Investigation of Pulsatility Effect on the Deformability and Hemolysis of Blood Cells

        <P>Abstract</P><P>In this study, we investigated the differences between pulsatile cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) procedure and nonpulsatile CPB procedure in terms of their effects on hemolysis and deformability of red blood cells (RBCs) under various shear stress conditions. In order to research the effects on hemolysis and deformability, four parameters—free hemoglobin (fHb) concentration, normalized index of hemolysis (NIH), deformability index (DI) of RBCs, and elongation index of RBCs—have been deeply investigated. For these investigations, two randomly assigned adult mongrel dog groups—nonpulsatile group (NP, <I>n</I> = 6) and pulsatile group (P, <I>n</I> = 6)—were examined. According to our results, both types of perfusion did not show any statistical differences in terms of the concentrations of fHb as well as NIH. In addition, there were no significant differences in RBC deformability between perfusion types within an operation time of 3 h. Therefore, our studies suggest that pulsatile perfusion has no significant difference from nonpulsatile perfusion in terms of hemolysis and deformability of RBCs.</P>

        Evaluation of hot deformation characteristics in modified AA5052 using processing map and activation energy map under deformation heating

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The hot workability and deformation characteristics of modified AA5052 were evaluated by hot torsion testing in the temperature range 573–773 K and at strain rates of 0.1–10 s<SUP>−1</SUP>. Flow curves obtained from the hot torsion test were corrected considering deformation heating during hot deformation. The processing map and activation energy map were developed from this compensated flow data to propose the optimum processing conditions and to reveal the influence of hot processing parameters on microstructure evolution. The validities of the corrected processing map and activation energy map were also analyzed. The processing map showed that this alloy had a wide flow instability region at all working temperatures; in contrast, maximum power dissipation efficiency was shown at the highest and lowest strain rates in the large temperature region (above 723 K). The activation energy for hot working varied from 28 to 497 kJ mol<SUP>−1</SUP> and showed a tendency for relatively small activation energy where higher power dissipation efficiency was observed. Microstructural observations indicated that dynamic recovery considerably contributed to a higher power dissipation efficiency and lower level of activation energy. On the other hand, the main reason for flow instability was attributed to the evolution of deformation bands or liquid phases. Thus, the hot deformation characteristics of the alloy proposed from the processing map and activation energy map were consistent with the deformed microstructure.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Hot deformation characteristics of modified AA5052 was evaluated by processing map and activation map under deformation heating. </LI> <LI> A model for the temperature rise generated by deformation heating was proposed for hot torsion test. </LI> <LI> Processing map from compensated flow data was more consistent with the microstructural observation. </LI> <LI> Activation energy map from compensated flow data was more reliable than that using original flow data. </LI> </UL> </P>
