        In every year the rate of total industry accident is gradually decreasing while the portion of musculoskeletal problem is sharply increase. To reduce the musculoskeletal problem and provide safe working environment some company employ the industrial physical therapist. Despite the role of industrial physical therapist, there is no research about working condition and job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to investigate working condition and verify the factor that affect job satisfaction. 47 subjects who belong Society for Industrial Physical Therapy reply about questionnaire composed of 42 items, general characteristics, job characteristic, job satisfaction. In general characteristics, gender (p=.031), marriage status (p=.037), education (p=.017), health status (p=.002) show significant difference in welfare and stability. In Job characteristics, employment status, Job position, working time, type of work, past career, additional job show significant difference. Especially in Job position, job pride (p=.046), organization factor (p=.014), Autonomy and Payment (p=.050), Working condition (p=.023), Welfare and stability (p=.012) show significant difference. As a result, to improve job satisfaction of industrial physical therapist who works for preventing employee’s musculoskeletal problem and their treatment need job stability and promotion system. Based on this research, the company which employ or will employ the industrial physical therapist provide better working condition for their better works

      • Usefulness of Color-overlay Pattern of Thyroid Elastic Ultrasonography

        Malignant thyroid nodules have a better prognosis than other malignancies, so it is important to distinguish between positive and malignant nodules. There is a limit to distinguishing malignant and benign nodules by thyroid ultrasound alone, so additional examinations are required. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the reduction of unnecessary needle suction cell tests in order to reduce the pain and psychological anxiety of patients. Of the 57 patients who underwent thyroid ultrasound from August 2021 to September 2021, thyroid nodules were found, needle aspiration cell examination and tissue examination were planned. In order to determine the cut-off value of kPa value, the ROC curve was calculated using the K-TIRADS result value and elastic ultrasonic kPa value of gray tone, sensitivity and specificity were calculated. Statistical significance was determined based on p-value less than 0.001, and statistical processing was performed using MedCalc version 17.2 (MedCalc Software, Ostend, Belgium). The optimum cut-off value (kPa) measurement for malignancy was 80.00 percent sensitive and 97.62 percent specific to 74.2 kPa. The area under the curve (AUC) of the ROC curve is calculated to be 0.960, which is statistically significant. Furthermore, the optimum cut-off value and color overlay pattern were analyzed, and it was judged that the mean value of Green was similar, sothe benign and malignant nodules could be distinguished based on Green. Shearwave Elastography can predict the diagnosis of malignant and positive thyroid tissue and reduce unnecessary invasive tests.

      • 한국 노년층의 인지기능 및 이름대기능력이 의사소통 삶의 질에 미치는 영향

        As the elderly population increased rapidly, Korea entered the aging society, and the elderly faced health problems such as chronic diseases along with biological aging of the body due to aging. In addition, as old people age, their cognitive skills as well as naming ability decrease. In particular, dementia, along with memory, is a decline in other intellectual abilities that can interfere with everyday life. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to explore the naming ability, cognitive function, and quality of communication life in the Korean elderly and to identify the relationship among them. A total of 50 Korean elderly people (25 normal, 25 elderly patients with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) from Korean version of Montreal Cognitive Assessment (K-MoCA)) ranged in age from 65 to 85 years old, with an average age of 75.04 ± 4.46 years participated to compare the naming ability and quality of communication life. The naming ability and quality of communication life were measured using shortened Korean version of the Boston Name Waiting Test (SK-BNT) and the Quality of Communication Life Scale (QCL). The results showed that significantly lower naming ability and decreased quality of communication life scores were observed in the elderly group with MCI than normal elderly group. In addition, there were significantly lower scores in the elderly group with MCI were found in all sub-item of quality of communication life scale. Moreover, significantly higher positive correlation was revealed between K-MoCA score and S-K-BNT as well as QCL in both groups. Especially, among the cognitive functions within K-MoCA, visuospatial ability showed the highest positive relationship with QCL and followed by attention, memory, executive function, language, and orientation, respectively. Accordingly, the current study revealed that cognitive function such as visuospatial ability, attention, memory, execution as well as naming ability can affect quality of communication life, suggesting that early detection of MCI, pre-dementia stage and various cognitive function such as isuospatial ability, attention, memory, execution, and time-person-place orientation as well as namaing ability can be important diagnostic indice for determining and maintaining good quality of communication life in the ederly. Therefore, cognitive management also should be considered to improve quality of communication life with language intervention.

      • 흉부 검사 시 촬영 조건변화에 따른 선량 변화에 관한 연구

        In this study, the dose was investigated according to the condition change during chest X-ray. By using an acrylic phantom, three types of X-ray imaging devices were irradiated five times for each condition, and then the average was calculated to increase the reliability for comparative analysis. For the change of conditions, the doses of 100 cm and 180 cm, the doses of the cathode and the anode, and the incident and transmitted doses of the doses according to the presence or absence of shielding were compared and analyzed. As a result, the distance showed that the dose of 180 cm was reduced by 65% ​​compared to the dose of 100 cm, and the dose to the anode was at least 15% less than the dose to the cathode, and the dose was 60% when shielded compared to that without Appeared lower than that. In conclusion, when chest X-rays are taken, the distance is 180 cm, the anode side is a relatively thin thyroid, and the cathode side is directed toward the relatively thick abdomen.

      • 뇌졸중 환자의 발의 위치 변화에 따른 빠른 속도로 일어서기 훈련이 큰 볼기근의 활성화와 균형 및 보행에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of different foot positioning on gluteus maximus muscle activation, balance and gait during fast speed sit-to-stand for stroke patients. There were 15 stroke patients in total, and 5 patients were randomly assigned to each of the AAU group(Affected foot position alongside the unaffected foot position), ABU group(Affected foot placed behind the unaffected foot position), and UBA group(Unaffected foot placed behind the affected foot position) in fast-speed sit-to-stand training. The patients participated in this training 5 times a week for weeks and conducted 3 sets of 10 repetitions a day. Gluteus maximus muscle maximal activation(by sEMG), balance ability assessment(by timed up and go test), and gait speed ability assessment(by 10-meter walk test) were conducted to examine the effect of this training on improving muscle activation, balance and gait ability. Kruskal-wallis one-way ANOVA and Wilcoxon test were used to determine statistical signficance of difference among groups. As a result, the ABU group showed improved results after training father than before training on a gluteus maximus muscle activation, balance and gait ability(p<0.05). Therefore, this study suggests that it may be more effective for stroke patients to place the affected foot behind the unaffected foot during sit-to-stand training. This way needs to be used as part of rehabilitation intervention to increase gluteus maximus activation, balance and gait ability.

        Ultrasonography is useful for various diseases such as breast, heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, etc. because it is possible to follow up images in real time and has no pain due to non-invasive examination and does not use ionizing radiation and is not harmful to human body. During ultrasound imaging, the probe must be in direct contact with the patient's skin, which is the site of the test, and exposure to the body can cause shame. Recently, as the aging of modern society progresses, interest in multi-drug resistant bacteria that are resistant to some antibiotics due to the abuse of antibiotics is increasing.Patients with multidrug-resistant bacteria may be infected by direct contact with other immunocompromised patients. However, after contact with infected patients, such as medical treatment or treatment, or after contact with the patient's surrounding environment, Hand hygiene and surrounding disinfection are important when contacting the patient or the patient's surroundings with infectious diseases is possible. In particular, patients with surgical or skin diseases are more likely to be exposed to infection if the probe and gel used for ultrasound are in direct contact with the wound. However, previous studies have reported that there is a lack of awareness of infection control in ultrasound laboratories and the disinfection of ultrasonic probes. As the aging society progresses, the technology of medical technology and medical equipment is also developing. However, the perception of quality control and quality control of medical equipment is insufficient. In 2011, the Ministry of Health and Welfare finalized the revised regulation on the operation and installation of special medical equipment, but the diagnostic ultrasound equipment was not included. In 2003, the Korean Society of Radiology and the Korean Society of Ultrasound Medicine set the ATS-539 Multipurpose Ultrasound Phantom as a standard phantom for the evaluation of ultrasound images and presented objective and systematic quality control standards for ultrasound equipment. The purpose of this study is to reduce the number of cases of infection and to minimize the exposure of patients to the skin by preventing direct contact with the parts of infection that may be insufficient only by hand hygiene and disinfection of the surrounding environment. ATS-539 ultrasonic phantom was used to select polyurethane, cotton, and paper fibers that are easy to contact in daily life and have low economic burden due to one-time use.

      • 수정체 선량한도의 하향 조정이 Q시스템에 미치는 영향 분석 : QA를 중심으로

        Since the reference dose of the Q system is based on the dose limits recommended by ICRP, changes in the dose limits can lead to changes in A1 and A2. In this study, focusing on the fact that the dose limit for the lens of the eye was significantly lowered from 150 mSv per year to 100 mSv for 5 years in ICRP Publication 118, the impact on A1 and A2 was analyzed when this reduction was reflected in the reference dose of the Q system. As a result of the analysis, only QA needed to evaluate by changing the reference dose to the lens dose. Accordingly, as a result of selecting gamma nuclides below 2 MeV and calculating QA based on a dose of 20 mSv to the lens of the eye, A1 and A2 resulted in a notable decrease. Therefore, it is judged that there is a need to revise the QA calculation methodology to select the smaller QA of the two options, one that calculates the QA based on the effective dose and the other based on the dose to the lens of the eye. Meanwhile, since the three reference doses of the Q system follow different ICRP recommendations, it is judged that the reference dose of the Q system needs to be revised to follow the latest ICRP recommendation. This study can be used as a reference for determining the need for revision of A1 and A2 due to the downward adjustment of the dose limit for the lens of the eye and for improving the Q system.

      • 케틀벨 터키쉬 겟업 동작 수행 중 앞톱니근과 어깨주변 근육의 근 활성도 관찰

        The purpose of this study is to observe the activity of the serratus and the muscles around the shoulder during the performance of Turkish get-up. During Turkish get-up 7th operation, the muscular activity of serratus anterior, deltoid(anterior, middle, posterior) and trapezius(upper, lower) was observed. It targeted seven adult men and used 8 kilograms of kettlebell weight. They all used their right arms as right-handed. Section 7 is as follows 1.supine press 2.press to elbow 3.elbow to hand 4.high bridge 5.triangle 6.half kneeling 7.standing. We did a single action for five seconds. Of those, 3 seconds were dataized We used an eight-panel EMG. We did statistical analysis using SPSS, used One-way repeated measured ANOVA to compare myocardial activity among groups, and had a statistical significance level of 0.05. LSD was used for post-verification. The muscular activity of the serratus anterior was higher in the standing position than in the lying position. The muscular activity of deltoid anterior, middle was also higher in the vantage position than in the reclining position. The muscular activity of the upper trapzius was higher in the preposition than in the reclining position. The muscular activity of lower trazius, deltoid posterior was the highest in five sections. The serratus anterior, upper trapezius, lower trapezius that makes scapular upward rotation is the most active in section 5 section 6 section 7. The largest focus, the serratus anterior, was shown to increase muscle activity as the upper body height increased.

      • 만성 호흡기계 질환 노인의 우울 관련 요인 : 2020년도 노인실태 조사를 중심으로

        Purpose: This study aimed to identify factors related to depression in the elderly who have chronic respiratory disease. Methods: The secondary data for the analysis was from 2020 living profiles and welfare service needs of Korean older persons. The data was analyzed with Descriptive statistics, rao-scott chi-square test, and logistic regression using the SAS 9.4 statistical program. Results: In total, 41.3% of the elderly with chronic respiratory disease had depression. The significant factors related to depression were living alone (adjusted odds ratio[OR]=9.80, 95% CI: 2.03-193.38), alcohol([OR]=0.13, 95% CI: 0.04-0.42), falls ([OR]=5.80, 95% CI: 1.44-23.30), and two social activities ([OR] =3.55, 95% CI: 1.03-12.24). Conclusions: The findings indicate that to improve depression in the elderly who have chronic respiratory disease, it is necessary to foster community-based social activity programs, and to develop medical-linked supportive services for elderly who lives alone.

      • 복부초음파에서 진단된 신장결석과 생체학적 검사 결과의 연관성 분석

        The present study intended to identify the association between the development of nephrolithiasis with the bioscopy results of 241 subjects in health examinations upon the completion of abdominal ultrasound examinations. In regard to the effect of nephrolithiasis on blood examination factors, the risk of developing nephrolithiasis in subjects in the group with abnormal cholesterol levels was 3.925 times higher than that in the group with normal cholesterol levels (p < 0.05), whereas the risk of developing nephrolithiasis in the group with abnormal neutral fat levels was 2.037 times higher than that in the group with normal neutral fat levels (p < 0.05). In addition, the group with abnormal γ-GGT levels showed a 3.274 times higher risk of developing nephrolithiasis than the group with normal γ-GGT levels (p < 0.05). In conclusion, the risk of developing nephrolithiasis was associated with the presence of neutral fat and γ-GGT, and total cholesterol levels. Thus, active efforts to reduce the development and rate of nephrolithiasis recurrence are suggested.
