        래피어 직기 특성이 의류용 모직물 물성에 미치는 영향 (2) -의류용 모직물 물성 변화-

        This research surveys the mechanical properties of worsted fabrics for garment according to the loom characteristics and fabric positions with relation to the warp and weaving weft tensions on the 3 types of rapier looms, which is previously surveyed in the 1st paper. For this purpose, the grey fabrics are processed in dyeing and finishing processes. The mechanical properties of the finished fabrics are measured and discussed with relation to the warp and weft weaving tensions of 3 types of rapier looms and the variations of the fabric mechanical properties according to the fabric positions are also surveyed for investigating the homogeneity of the tailorability and fabric hand.

        $NbC_x-C_{1-x}/Y_2O_3$ 박막코팅을 이용한 $Al_2O_3/Ti$ 계면특성향상 -(2) 계면특성평가

        Two NbCx-C1-x/Y2O3/Ti sputter-coated Al2O3 substrates (L 5.5 cm$\times$W 0.5 cm) were diffusion bonded together using hot press method at 95$0^{\circ}C$ for 3 hours under 1 MPa of applied pressure. 4 points bending tests were used to evaluate the mechanical performance of these precracked laminate beams. Two types of mechanical responses were observed: crack penetration through the interface for x=0.75, 1 and crack deflection into an interface for x=0.25, 0.5. The Al2O3/NbCx-C1-x/Y2O3/Ti system suggested here has been proves to be effective for the thermokinetical stability and tailorability of the interfaces of Al2O3/Ti composites at 95$0^{\circ}C$.

        Narrative Analyses of Korean Master Tailors and Incoming Tailors’ Ways of Thinking and Behavior Patterns

        To contribute to the revitalization of menswear custom-tailoring, narrative analyses were conducted to study the ways of thinking and behavior patterns of Korean tailors. Two master and two incoming tailors were interviewed. The interview results were analyzed applying Labov and Waletzky’s six elements of narrative plots, yielding the following findings. First, in relation to occupational perceptions, tailors pursued good appearance, made efforts for self-development, felt both pride and shame in their works, and pursued craftsmanship. Second, in terms of training process, tailors agreed on the necessity of a systematic training. It was also observed that trust between the master and the apprentice almost disappeared nowadays. Third, in relation to work environment, few incoming found a place to experience field practice while receiving a reasonable wage. The older generation was reluctant to share know-how, while the incoming tailors exchanged information. The interviewed tailors were frustrated by consumers’ ignorance of the value of bespoke tailoring. Based on these results, pursuit of high-end image and craftsmanship, improvement in social perceptions of bespoke tailoring and economic conditions of incoming tailors, vital information exchange between the tailors, and the promotion of bespoke tailoring publicity could be suggested for the revitalization of bespoke tailoring in Korea.

        가죽 테일러드칼라 재킷의 제작법 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 가죽 테일러드칼라 재킷의 실제적 제작방법을 구체적으로 고찰하여 가죽의류 봉제 교육에 활용할 수 있는 기초자료로 삼고자 하는데 있다. 테일러드 칼라 재킷의 제작 과정 및 방법을 고찰한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가죽원단은 매칭 작업을 통하여 재단 전에 비슷한 색상과 비슷한 조직으로 맞추어 놓은 후 부위별 특성을 고려하여 재단해야 한다. 둘째, 가죽 테일러드 칼라 재킷 제작 시 필요 부위에 접착심지나 다데 테이프, 바이어스테이프 등을 부착하였으며 이들 테이프의 부착 부위 및 방법은 일반소재의 재킷 제작공정과 동일하였다. 셋째, 가죽 재킷의 겉감 봉제 시 ease 분량이 필요한 부분은 [프린세스라인, 뒤 어깨선, 소매산, 팔꿈치] 등이었다. 넷째, 가죽 재킷의 안쪽에서 가름솔로 처리되는 시접에는 가죽 전용 본드를 붙인 후 롤러와 망치로 시접을 고정시켰으며, 그 외 겉에서 스티치를 박게 되는 라펠, 겉 칼라, 안 칼라와 소매밑단, 몸판밑단 등에는 양면테이프를 부착하여 시접을 고정시켰다. 다섯째, 가죽테일러드 칼라 재킷의 안감 봉제 방법은 여유분량이나 ease 처리에서 일반 소재의 재킷 안감 제작방법과 동일하였다. 여섯째, 가죽테일러드 칼라 재킷의 겉감과 안감을 각각 박아 완성한 후 겉감과 안감의 소매부리를 연결한 후 겉에서 외곽선(칼라~라펠~밑단)을 박는 방법으로 하였으며 겉 칼라와 안 칼라의 봉제 시 겉 칼라에 ease를 주어가며 봉제하였다. The object of this study is to examine a practical manufacturing method of leather tailored-collar jacket and make the results as a basic information applicable for sewing education of leather garments. The results of examination of manufacturing process and method of tailored-collar jacket are as belows: First, leathers should be organized to match similar colors and similar tissues before cutting through matching process and then, cut in consideration of the quality of each part. Second, fusible interfacing, edge tape, bias tape were attached to the necessary parts for manufacturing of leather tailored-collar jacket. The parts and methods to attach these tapes were same as the jacket manufacturing process of general materials. Third, those parts to need some amount of ease in leather jacket were princess line, back shoulder line, sleeve cap and elbow line. Fourth, for the opened seams inside leather jacket, a glue for leather was applied and it was fixed with roller and hammer. Also for lapel, top collar, under collar, and hem to be understitched from outside, double-sided tape was attached to fix the seam. Fifth, the sewing method of tailored-collar jacket`s lining was same as the manufacturing method of general material jacket`s lining in the amount of ease or ease processing. Sixth, for the combination of leather tailored-collar jacket`s outer shell and lining, the method was used that, after sewed to complete the outer shell and lining, the sleeve wrist of outer shell and lining was combined, while understitching the collar-lapel-hem from outside with wrong side together, and it was sewed giving some ease onto the top collar in sewing of top collar and under collar.

      • Manufacturing of tailor-rolled blanks with thickness variations in both the longitudinal and latitudinal directions

        <P>A tailor-rolled blank is a semi-finished part that can be used to produce stamping parts with continuous thickness variations. This study investigates a cold manufacturing process to fabricate a TRB with variable thickness variations in both the longitudinal and latitudinal directions. The effect of the rolling process on the characteristics of the transition zone and the deformation behaviors of the blanks were investigated using various processing conditions. The dimensional variations at the transition zones were analyzed based on the cross-sectional thickness profiles of the formed blanks. The results show that manufacturing such a TRB requires an extra process to reduce dimensional instabilities caused by superimposed transition zones in both directions. To manufacture sound blanks with acceptable dimensions, this study proposes a trial method that uses blanks with circular and square holes instead of solid blank.</P>

        자기공명 Tailored-RF 경사자계반향영상법을 이용한 고양이 뇌에서의 First-Pass관찰

        Recently, a new tailored RF gradient echo (TRFGE) sequence was reported. This technique not only enhances the magnetic susceptibility effect but also allows us to measure local changes in brain oxygenation. In this study, a phantom and cat brain experiments were performed on a 4.7 Tesla BIQSPEC (BRUKER) instrument with a 26 cm gradient system. We have demonstrated that the signal intensity (SI) of the TRFGE sequence varies according to the concentration of susceptibility contrast agent. Three capillary tubes with different concentrations of Gd-DTPA (0.01, 0.05, 0.1 mMOI/l) were placed at the middle of a cylindrical water phantom. Using both TRFGE and conventional gradient echo (CGE) sequences, phantom images of the slices which contain all three tubes were obtained. For the animal experiment, cats were anesthetized and ventilated using halotane (0.5%) and a $N_2O/ O_2$ mixture (2:1), and blood pressure and heart rate were monitored and kept normal. For the observation of tue first pass of Gd- DTPA, imaging was started at t = 0. At t = 8 ~ 12s, 0.2 mMol/Kg Gd-DTPA was manually injected in the femoral vein. The imaging parameters were TRITE = 25/10 msec, flip angle = $30^{\circ}$, FOV = 10cm, image matrix size = $128{\times}128$ with 64 phase encodings and the image data acquisition window was 10 msec. SI-time curves were then obtained from a series of 30 images which were collected at 2 sec intervals using both CGE and TRFGE pulse sequences before, during, and following the contrast injection.

        For the service and creation of new space, the next generation smart device for interactive space using tailor-made contents process serve as an opportunity for the growth of new special display due to the integration of the latest digital technology. The application of next generation technology is in the field that most people expect. So, this thesis serving as the beginning, it is hoped that the smart mirror and wall industry in Korea will play a practical and academic momentum. An interactive environment which is the smart device can be realized when space displays based on smart device built on the experience of the user can provide various tailor-made processes such as academics, performances, meetings, virtual experience, exhibits and promotion, and through this a strategic direction was suggested for the development of each field.

        Influence of Workpiece Tilting Angle on Joint Properties in Tailor Friction Stir Welded Blanks of Aluminium Alloy 5052-H32

        The application of aluminium tailor-welded blanks (TWB) is progressively increasing in automotive industries due to its high strength to weight ratio, superior corrosion resistance and crashworthiness. The weldments produced by Friction stir welding (FSW) retains high strength and formability as the process yields the sound joints at relatively lower temperatures in comparison to that of the conventional fusion welding processes. However, the FSW of aluminium alloy of different thicknesses in butt configuration is rarely studied. The primary objective of the present work is to investigate the feasibility of FSW process in joining of 1.5 to 2.5 mm thick AA5052 alloy tailored blank by tilting the workpiece with respect to machine bed. The effects of workpiece tilting angle with welding and rotational speeds on mechanical and metallurgical properties of the joints are studied. Minimum effective sheet thickness is found to be around 1.34 mm for tool rotational speed of 400 rpm and tilting angle of 0°. The highest joint strength around 212.6 MPa (95% of base metal strength) is achieved at a workpiece tilt angle of 1° for rotational and travel speed of 400 rpm and 1 mm/s, respectively. The maximum measured hardness is 60 Hv at tool roational speed of 400 rpm with tilting angle of 1°.
