        생태관광의 환경해설이 관광객의 환경의식 및 관광태도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 금강철새조망대를 중심으로

        The purpose of this research is to suggest appropriate directions for the desirable environmental interpretation of ecotourism through the investigation of the effect of environmental interpretation of ecotourism on the tourist's environmental consciousness and the tourist's attitude in case of Geumgang Migratory Bird Observatory. This research focus on the self-guided interpretation among types of interpretation. To identify effective factors of environmental interpretation on changes of the tourist's environmental consciousness and the tourist's attitude will be able to contribute to formulating various policies for environmental conservation through the environmental interpretation in ecotourism. The results of this study on the correlation between the environmental interpretation and the tourist's environmental consciousness, the tourist's attitude are summarized as follows. First, the environmental interpretation of ecotourism appears to be positively correlative with the tourist's environmental consciousness. Second, the environmental interpretation of ecotourism appears to be positively correlative with the tourist's attitude. Third, the tourist's environmental consciousness appears to be positively correlative with the tourist's attitude.

      • 環境意識在中國環境史研究中的重要性 : Why China? 讀後兼論“馬行街無蚊”

        Robert B. Marks의 Why China 에서, 작자는 머리말에 먼저 중국의 세계적 입지와 영향을 강조한다. 그 다음 중국 환경사 연구상 존재의 유리조건과 불리요소, 중국 환경사 연구의 중요성과 필요성을 지적하여 드러내었다. 마지막으로 필자는 중국 자체에서 Global적인 입지와 영향을 갖추고 있음에 인한 것이고, 이로 인해 장차 현대 이전의 Global적 환경변화의 중대한 구동력(驅動力)이 이루어진다고 감히 단언하며, 이러한 우리들의 중국환경사의 인식과 연구의 계발과 참고의식이 있다는 것에 대해서 작은 의심조차 하지 않는다. 그리고, 동시에, 지적해 두어야 할 것은, 이것을 작자Robert B. Marks은 환경사와 중국사연구의 관계에 대해서는 조금 모자란 감이 있지만 심도 있게 사고하고 있다; 동양과 서양 사람들 사이에 존재하는 문화배경이나 관념형태 등의 차이가 환경사연구의 영향에 대해서 인식부족을 가져오게 된다. 중국의 환경사 연구는 하나의 새로운 학술 영역이고, 중국환경사의 학문 체제에 구축되어 존재하며, 가장 중요한 것은 장차 환경사와 중국사의 연구가 유기적으로 결합되고 통합되어야 할 것이란 점이다. 다만 환경사와 중국사연구의 관계, 중국고대의 환경의식을 고찰하야야만, 더욱 더 훌륭한 중국환경사가 구축될 수 있을 것이다. “말이 다니는 거리에 모기가 없다”라는 하나의 사례는, 즉 중국 고대 도시의 환경의식이 매우 좋은 배경에서 실현되었다는 것을 나타낸다. 북송시기, 당시 사람들은 이미 도성의 “말이 다니는 거리에 모기가 없다”라는 문제에 부딪쳐 주의를 기울였을 뿐 아니라, 또한 모기가 없는 원인을 다른 방면에서 해석하여 그것에 따랐다. 그때 당시의 역사조건하에서, 송나라 사람들은 “사람과 모기”의 관계에 대해 이미 어느 정도 인식하고 있었다. 비록 아직까지도 이러한 점에 대해서 그다지 전면적이거나 심각하게 다루지는 않았지만,당시에 막연하게나마 도시의 환경에 대해서 나름대로의 인식을 갖고 있었던 점을 표명해 주고 있다. 따라서, 중화문명은 연속성을 갖추고 있게 때문에, 중국고대사 환경 의식을 성실하게 고찰하여 이어가게 되면, 중국 환경사의 학문을 구축하는데 도움이 될 뿐만 아니라, 우리들이 중국 환경사를 심도있게 연구하는 데에도 도움이 될 것이다. The article of Robert B. Marks’s “Why China?”, firstly, emphasized China’s weight and impact, secondly, analyzed China’s beneficial conditions and disadvantageous factors on the research of environmental history, pointed out the importance and necessities, finally, Robert guessed that China will turn out to have been a significant driving force of premodern global environmental change. Without doubt, these can inspire and draw lessons from the meaning for us knowing and studying the environmental history of China. However, at the same time what need to be pointed out is the author Robert B. Marks must still think thorough the relations of environmental history and history of China, still need to be considered in the relations of environmental history research to the difference of oriental and occidental’s cultural background, ideal modality, etc.. The environmental history of China is a fire-new academic domain. It is foremost to link environmental history and history of China when we construct the environmental history of China. We only through probing into the relations between environmental history and history of China, hackling the environment consciousness of the ancient China, then can be better to construct the environmental history of China. Without mosquito in Ma-xing Street incarnated the environment consciousness of the ancient China. In the period of the North Song Dynasty, people had already taken notice of the problem, and explained the reasons from different aspects. At that time, people not only opened out the relations of “people and mosquito” definitely, but also carried on the earnest thinking to the relations of “mosquito and the urban environment”, which had already reflected the understanding to certain degree to the relations of “people and the urban environment”. Though this kind of understanding were still very not overall and not deep, but, can say, people of the Song Dynasty had taken on a certain hazy urban environment consciousness. Because the Chinese civilization has the consecution, investigating the succession of the environment consciousness of the ancient China seriously, not only be helpful to construct the environmental history of China, but also be advantageous to research the environmental history of China deeply.

        消費者價値, 環境意識, 以及購買綠色服裝産品的意愿

        Consumer awareness of and concerns for the environment have increased significantly and environmental concerns now represent one of the major factors in consumer decision making. While there have been many studies regarding green marketing, limited research has been conducted concerning the consumers` view on ethical issues in the fashion industry and its influence on their purchase behavior (Laroche, et al., 2001; Dickson, 2000; Butler & Francis, 1997). This study looks at the relationships among environmental consciousness, willingness to pay more toward environmentally friendly apparel products and buying behavior among college students. It also examines the effects of fashion involvement, which is considered one of the important values in apparel purchasing behavior. Laroch, et al.`s (2001) conceptual framework serves as a basis for the present research. In this framework, they consider factors that may influence consumers` willingness to pay more for environmentally friendly products using five categories: demographics, knowledge, values, attitudes and behavior. Among these five categories, four of them (knowledge, values, attitudes and behavior) were adopted and knowledge, attitudes and behavior were considered as an environmental consciousness and those were included as predictors of willingness to pay more for green apparel in this research. In addition, since many studies examined the hierarchical relationship between values, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors, it was hypothesized that value (fashion involvement) will influence environmental consciousness (knowledge, attitudes, and behavior) and environmental consciousness will have direct effect on willingness to pay more for eco-friendly apparel products following reviews of literature. Based on the previous discussion, six hypotheses were developed: H1. Consumers who have higher fashion involvement value will have less environmental knowledge than those who have lower fashion involvement value. H2. Consumers who have higher fashion involvement value will have lower environmental concern than those who have lower fashion involvement value. H3. Consumers who have higher fashion involvement value will demonstrate fewer environmentally sensitive behaviors than consumers who have lower fashion involvement value. H4. Consumers who have more environmental knowledge will demonstrate a greater willingness to pay more for environmentally friendly apparel products than consumers who have less environmental knowledge. H5. Consumers who have higher environmental concerns will show higher willingness to pay more for environmentally friendly apparel products than consumers who have lower environmental concerns. H6. Consumers who are more involved in environmentally sensitive behaviors will have higher willingness to pay more for environmentally friendly apparel products than consumers who are less engaged in general environmental behaviors. The questionnaire was developed from existing measures of the variables and from the author. The participants were 150 undergraduate students attending a Midwestern university. To test the hypothesized model, linear structural equation modeling (LISREL 8) was performed. The findings of this study provide that university students who had more interest in fashion tended to know less about environmental issues, to show less concern about the environment, and to be involved less in the environmentally sensitive behaviors. According to the results, there was no relationship between environmental knowledge and willingness to pay more for eco-friendly apparel. This indicates that people who have more knowledge about the environment are not necessarily the consumers of eco-friendly apparel. The findings also show that college students who were more concerned about the environment tended to be willing to pay more for green apparel. College students who made more effort to conserve energy and natural resources also tended to be willing to spend more for green apparel. This research provides valuable insights for eco-friendly apparel product retailers and manufacturers by indicating that two dimensions of environmental consciousness (attitude and behavior) were good predictors of college students` willingness to spend more for green apparel. Environmentally sensitive behavior like conserving natural resources is a good indicator to intention to purchase environmentally friendly apparel products. Retailers and marketers might need to encourage students to be aware the importance of environmentally sensitive behaviors and to involve in those behaviors. Marketers in the fashion industry need to consider college students` environmental concerns and conserving natural resources behaviors when they make marketing decisions for environmentally-friendly apparel products. The apparel marketers also need to develop creative marketing strategies for the eco-friendly apparel products to persuade the fashion-conscious consumers. Although environmental knowledge was not related to intention to pay more for green apparel, it might be related to environmental concern or other environmental behavior. It is also suggested that apparel retailers and marketers should use a consistent and reliable message about their practice of green marketing in order not to confuse consumers.

        소비자의 환경의식과 친환경 제품에 대한 태도가 니트웨어 구매의도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of fashion consumer's environmental awareness on eco-friendly product attitude consumer's consciousness and purchase intention of knitwear. The summary of the study is as follows. First as a result of examining the influence of the environmental awareness of fashion consumers on eco-friendly product attitudes and consumer consciousness the environmental consciousness of fashion consumers was analyzed with the consciousness of citizen activists recycling awareness and resource conservation. It had a significant influence on product attitude. Second as a result of examining the influence of eco-friendly product attitudes and consumer consciousness on the purchase intention of knitwear both eco-friendly product attitudes and consumer consciousness had a significant influence on the purchase intention of knitwear. Third the moderating effect of environmental problem severity had a moderating effect of environmental problem severity between eco-friendly product attitudes consumer consciousness and intention to purchase knitwear. Through this research consumer environmental consciousness factors can further subdivide consumers in the fashion market to present marketing strategies. Above all fashion by revealing the influence on the environmental consciousness environment-friendly product attitude and consumer consciousness of consumers who purchase knitwear The results of this study can be used to develop eco-friendly materials considering the characteristics of knit in the market.

        환경의식에 따른 산림생태관광객의 심리적 반응에 관한 연구

        With the slowdown in environmental issues and the change of environmental consciousness, ecotourism is being discussed in various social fields. Ecotourism is being popularized for environmental protection, and now it is becoming a mainstream product from one of mass tourism. Ecotourism’s emphasis on sustainable development in the tourism destination’s society, economy, and environment, through ecotourism study and education, enable people to understand the core value of the ecological environment. 2011 was nominated as “the Year of World Forest” by the UN. In the recent years, forests are becoming increasingly important with their own values and functions in environment, economy, society, and culture. In particular, the global environmental issues caused by climate change are becoming an international agenda. Forests are the only effective solution for the carbon dioxide that causes global warming. Moreover, forests constitute a major part of ecotourism, and are now most used by ecotourists. For example, Korea, wherein 60% of the land is forest, attracts ecotourists. With the increasing interests in environment, the number of tourists visiting the ecosystem forest, which is highly valued for its conservation, is increasing significantly every year and is receiving considerable attention from the government. However, poor facilities in the forest ecotourism sites and improper market strategies are the reasons for the poor running of these sites. Furthermore, tourists’ environmental awareness affects ecology environmental pollution or the optimization of forest ecotourism. In order to verify the relationships among tourist attractiveness, environmental consciousness, charm degrees of the attractions, and attitudes after tours, we established some scales based on existing research achievement. Then, using these scales, the researcher completed the questionnaire survey. From December 20, 2010 to February 20, 2011, after conducting surveys for 12 weeks, we finally obtained 582 valid questionnaires, from a total of 700 questionnaires, that could be used in statistical analysis. First, for the method of research and analysis, the researcher initially applied the Cronbach’s (Alpha) for verifying the reliability, and subsequently applied the Exploratory factor analysis for verifying the validity. Second, in order to analyze the demographics, the researcher makes use of the Frequency analysis for the AMOS, measurement model, structural equation model computing, and also utilizes construct validity, convergent validity, discriminant validity, and nomological validity. Third, for the analysis of the ecotourists’ environmental consciousness, impacts on tourist attractiveness, charm degrees of the attractions, and attitudes after the tour, the researcher uses AMOS 19, with the path analysis and equation of structure. After the research, researchers found that high awareness of natural protection lead to high tourist motivation and satisfaction and more positive attitude after the tour. Moreover, this research shows the psychological and behavioral reactions of the ecotourists to the ecotourist development. Accordingly, environmental consciousness does not affect the tourist attractiveness that has been interpreted as significant. Furthermore, people should focus on the change of natural protection consciousness and psychological reaction of ecotourists while ensuring the sustainable development of ecotourists and developing some ecotourist programs.

        초등학생의 체험환경교육이 환경의식에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 학생의 환경 의식에 체험환경교육이 어떠한 영향을 주는지 확인하는 것이다. 우리는 6개의 지역을 선정하여, 13개의 초등학교에 5,6학년을 대상으로 검사지를 나누어 주어 1969개의 자료를 얻었다. 모아진 자료는 t-test와, Pearson 상관관계, 요인 분석을 실행하였다. 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. (1) 체험환경교육은 선정된 학생들의 환경의식에 유의하게 영향을 주었다. 체험환경교육을 한 학생들은 하지 않은 학생들보다 환경지식, 환경행동, 환경감수성에서 높은 점수를 얻었다. 특히, 환경감수성에서 다른 두 영역보다 더 큰 차이가 나타났다. (2) 자연에 접한 총 횟수는 초등학생들의 환경 의식과 관계가 없었다. (3) 환경 감수성과 환경 의식 간에 유의한 연관이 있다. 환경 감수성에서 높은 점수를 얻은 학생들은 환경 행동에서도 높은 점수를 얻었다. (4) 가장 중요한 환경 행동은 학생들이 환경 문제의 심각성을 인식하는 것이다. 결과들을 토대로 우리는 초등학생의 환경 교육을 체험환경교육에 중점을 맞춰야 된다고 생각한다. This research was conducted in order to know how experience environmental education affects the elementary school students’ environmental consciousness. We sent questionnaires to 13 elementary school targeting 5 to 6 grade students from 6 regions in Korea and assessed the data based on the returned 1969 questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by using t - test, Pearson correlation and factor analysis. The results of this study are as follows; (1) Experience environmental education significantly affected the targeted student’s environmental consciousness. Students who were taken the experience environmental education had higher scores in environmental knowledge, behavior, and sensitivity than students who were not. Especially, the gap of the environmental sensitivity scores between two groups was bigger than any other categories in environmental consciousness. (2) The total number of contact to the nature was not correlated to elementary school students’ environmental consciousness. (3) There were a significant correlation between environmental sensitivity and environmental behavior. (4) The most important environmental behavior was students must have a thought about environmental problems are serious. Based on these results we suggest that environmental education in elementary school should focus on the experience environmental education.

        학교 숲을 활용한 체험 환경교육이 초등학생의 환경의식 함양에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of activity-oriented environmental education program using school forests on the improvement of elementary school students’environmental consciousness. For this purpose, this study selected two 4th-grade classes(81 students) at an elementary school in the capital area, one for an experiment group and the other for a control group. In order to examine the change of students’ environmental consciousness according to class method, the researcher developed and applied an activity-oriented environmental education program using school forests to the experiment group for 12 weeks, and traditional environment education to the control group. The results of this study were summarized as follows. First, according to the pre-test and post-test on the control group, traditional education had negative effects on elementary school students’ environmental consciousness. Second, according to the pre-test and post-test on the experiment group, the activity-oriented environmental education program using school forests had positive effects on elementary school students’ environmental consciousness. Third, according to the post-test on the control group and the experiment group, the activity-oriented environmental education program using school forests improved elementary school students’ consciousness of environmental protection and ecosystem, so it was effective in fostering their environmental consciousness.

        친환경성이 에너지절감 제품 구매에 미치는 영향

        본 연구에서는 에너지절감 제품을 대상으로 친환경성이 소비자의 제품에 대한 구매의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서는 에너지절감 제품의 경제성, 편리성, 친환경성 등이 구매의도에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 나타내는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 이들 구매영향 요인들 중 경제성과 친환경성의 효과는 소비자의 환경의식 수준에 따라 달라져서, 환경의식이 높은 소비자는 경제성에 둔감하게 반응하여 경제성이 낮더라도 친환경 제품에 대한 구매의도가 환경의식이 낮은 소비자에 비해 크게 줄지 않으며, 친환경성에는 민감하게 반응하여 친환경성의 높아지면 친환경 제품에 대한 구매의도가 환경의식이 낮은 소비자에 비해 크게 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과에 따르면 친환경제품에 대한 마케팅전략을 수립함에 있어 소비자의 환경의식을 고려하여 환경의식이 낮은 집단에서는 해당 제품의 경제성을 높여 소비자의 비용을 절감 시키는 방안이 요구되고, 환경의식이 높은 집단에서는 해당 제품의 친환경성을 강조하는 것이 효과적일 수 있을 것이다. In this research, we analyzed the effect of environmental friendliness on consumers purchase intention with an energy saving product. We found that the economic benefit, easy to use and environmental friendliness have significant positive(+) effects on environmental friendliness of the energy saving product. We also found that the effects of economic benefit and environmental friendliness differ by the level of consumers environmental consciousness. Consumers with high level of the environmental consciousness are less sensitive on the change of the economic benefit and more sensitive on the change of the environmental friendliness than consumers with low level of the environmental consciousness. The results of this research imply that when planning a marketing strategy for an environmental friendly product it is important to emphasis the economic benefit to consumers with low level of the environmental consciousness while it is important to emphasis the environmental friendliness to consumers with high level of the environmental consciousness.

        The purpose of this study is to investigate environmental consciousness in order to derive some useful implications for environmentally conscious consumption style. For the empirical analysis, the data was collected 891 members from October 18 to October 30, 2002. The results could be summarized as follows. The level of environmental conscious, environmentally conscious attitude and behavior was relatively high. But the level of actual behavior was a little lower than that of consciousness. And status was significant variable. These findings pointed that the program of environmental education and environmentally conscious consumption style should be more pragmatic.

        국민환경의식 변화와 해양생태계 관련 법제의 검토 - 한국사회에서 보전과 개발에 대한 대립관점을 중심으로 -

        Since marine space has traditionally been recognized as a place for development, the importance of legislation on marine environmental protection tends to be neglected. However, in a circumstance that the national environmental consciousness has been increasing, it would be necessary to review how the legislation on marine environmental protection is reflecting the national environmental consciousness and their policy demands. Therefore this study, focused on marine ecosystem, understood the limitations of the legal system on marine ecosystem protection caused by relation between ‘conservation’ and ‘development’ based on the process of formation and development of the marine-related legislation, social background, and national environmental consciousness in the past in Korea. In addition, it looked over how national environmental consciousness has been changed and how it has been reflected in the legislation on marine ecosystem protection, and finally suggested improvements on the legislation on marine ecosystem protection by grasping current national environmental consciousness. 해양은 전통적으로 개발의 공간으로 인식되어옴에 따라 우리나라 해양환경법제는 개발법제에 비해 중요성이 간과되고 있는데, 국민의 환경의식이 계속 높아지고 있는 상황에서 해양환경법제가 국민의 환경의식과 정책수요를 얼마나 반영하고 있는지 검토해 볼 필요가 있을 것이다. 이 연구에서는 해양환경 중에서도 해양생태계 부문을 중심으로 검토하였는데, 해양환경에 대한 국민의식조사가 별도로 이루어지지 않았지만 과거의 국민의 ‘환경’의식, 보전과 개발 사이의 사회적 상황, 해양환경법제의 형성·발달 과정을 바탕으로 ‘개발’과 ‘보전’사이에서 해양생태계 관련 법제가 가지는 한계와 그 원인을 파악하고, 국민의 환경의식이 어떻게 변화했으며 그러한 변화를 해양생태계 법제는 어떻게 반영하고 있는지 살펴보고, 마지막으로 현재 국민환경의식의 특징을 파악하여 해양생태계 법제의 개선방안을 제시해보았다.
