        모바일 서비스에 기반한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 사용자 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인

        The growth in the use of ubiquitous computing based on mobile services as an enabler to conduct business more effectively has been phenomenal. Technology acceptance model (TAM) has been applied in different contexts to examine a wide range of information technologies (IT). As more and more companies are finding ways to utilize ubiquitous computing based on mobile services, an important issue is to understand what factors will impact the decisions of consumers in adopting the services. Based on TAM with three additional groups of external factors, i.e., service-related factors (ubiquitous access, context awareness) and technology-related factors (perceived security risk, network connectivity) that are theoretically justified as having influence on both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use which are additionally considered, a research model for the investigated technology acceptance was developed and empirically examined, using responses from more than intended users of ubiquitous computing based on mobile services. The specific purposes of this study are as follows. Firstly, this study is to identify service beliefs considering unique characteristics for ubiquitous services such as perceived ubiquitous access and perceived context awareness. Secondly, this study is to investigate network characteristics beliefs such as perceived security and perceived connectivity. Thirdly, this paper investigates the relationship among variables such as ubiquitous characteristics, network characteristics, behavioral beliefs, and intention to use ubiquitous web services. This study uses a structural equation model to test the research model. The major results of this study are as follows. Firstly, ubiquitous access has a influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Context awareness has an influence on perceived usefulness. Secondly, User familiarity has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, and intention to use. User innovativeness has an influence on perceived ease of use. Thirdly, perceived security risk has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Network connectivity has an influence on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Fourth, there exist differential effects among factors in structural model among information, transaction, and entertainment services.

      • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스의 질 평가 모형개발에 대한 연구

        Mark Weiser에 의해 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅(Ubiquitous Computing)의 개념이 등장한 이래 최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술을 활웅한 새로운 서비스 개발이 활성화되고 있다. 그러나 제안되기 시작하고 있는 특정의 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스가 잠재적 사용자 집단에게 수용될 지에 대해서는 아직 미지수인데, 그 주된 원인의 하나는 제안되고 있는 서비스의 질에 대한 평가 모형의 미비에 있다. 따라서, 본 논문의 목적은 기존의 많은 문헌에서 서비스의 질을 평가하기 위해 사용되어 왔던 SERVQUAL이 과연 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 서비스의 평가를 위한 측정 도구로도 사용될 수 있을 것인지에 대해 연구하는 것이다. 이를 위해서, 기존의 SERVQUAL에 대한 연구와 정보시스템 분야에서의 SERVQUAL을 토대로 하여, 각각 어떠한 차원들이 더욱 강조되는 새로운 obi-SERVQUAL이 만들어져야 하는지에 대해 통계적인 검증을 통해 밝히려 하였다. Since Mark Wieser introduced the concept of ubiquitous computing, we are seeing an increase in the development of new services that use ubiquitous computing technology. It is not yet known whether latent customers will accept these specific ubiquitous computing services that have been proposed. The major cause of this uncertainty is not having a reliable means to measure the quality of the proposed services. Developing reliable, quality metrics for ubiquitous computing services are crucial at this juncture in the development cycle in order not to repeat the failure of introducing the information system services. The purpose of this paper, therefore, is to build a model to assess quality of ubiquitous computing service. To do so, by inviting and amending SERVQUAL model, which has been frequently and successfully used in many research efforts to measure service quality, we have defined a new model, ubi-SERVQUEL, by statistical verification.

I researched about model city's role and plan & result. Side-effect will be when development of super city, but we can design our life environment with Ubiquitous technology. In our Post Modern society, Information Technology has been upgraded by digital concepts. The 21st century's various technology and computing environments are combined to realize the virtual reality, so they are implemented from Ideas. Ubiquitous means anytime, anywhere, we can be working with computers. our computing will develop a rapid and convenient environment. Many kinds of technology and contents will useful for our ordinary life environment. The mixing and combining of network technology and Information technology makes it easy to develop our future Ubiquitous City based computing environment.

        스마트기술의 함의와 저작권법의 과제

        Smart technology based on telecommunication technology have been developed for several years that we can enjoy the Ubiquitous era. There is no clear definition on Smart technology, but we can explain that the smart technology is the telecommunication technology that make for us to use data and computer programs in Ubiquitous circumstances. What are these smart technologies? What are important technologies for Smart technology? I can dictate that three technologies or technological circumstances are most important. Those are open source development system, smart phone platform and cloud computing technology. Those will affect on Copyright Act system. First, open source development system will make affect on decision who is the creator of the copyrightable works which should be protectable. For example, we can not define the creators of Linus Kernel because so many creators are attribute to create that. Second, smart phone platform will make affects on Copyright Act system, also. So called ‘From Web to App’ will demand the schema ‘From server to client’. Third, Cloud computing will make affects on Copyright Act system because could computing would change the use of copyrightable works in the form of objects to the form of services. It will threaten the Law of Realty of Copyright Act and demand the change into the Law of obligations for their contracts and services. Under the Ubiquitous era, we should persevere in our efforts to synchronize with technology and legal system.

      • 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅을 이용한 건설구조물의 유지관리를 위한 네트워크 실시간 무선계측시스템

        In this paper, an integrated framework of ubiquitous computing technologies, combining internet technologies and wireless measurements, is developed for infrastructure smart monitoring. This system is designed to communicate through TCP/IP protocol for a remote real-time management. Measured data for smart monitoring is send from the host computer through TCP/IP protocol from a wireless sensor system based on bluetooth technology. Also, management system is designed to respond to the request of network user on real time basis. Laboratory experimental tests are carried out on a self-anchored suspension bridge to verify the effectiveness of this measurement system. Ubiquitous management system is analyzed to estimate real-time wireless sensing capacity and evaluate its performance for monitoring purpose. Finally, the proposed smart management system is proved to be an efficient monitoring technique for infrastructure system.

      • Ubiquitous factory 구축을 위한 정보 교환 메커니즘 및 시나리오 도출 방법론 개발

        In this paper, we propose a new factory concept, called ubiquitous factory (u-Factory) by applying ubiquitous computing technology to manufacturing domain in order to achieve information transparency, autonomous control and sustainable manufacturing. This concept is developed considering industries’ requirements based on UbiDMR [1], which is a new manufacturing paradigm for design, manufacturing and recycling via ubiquitous computing technology. To implement u-Factory systematically, in this paper, we embody u-Factory by 1) setting concept model including vision and components of u-Factory, 2) analyzing information exchange mechanism between u- Factory components based SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) approach, and 3) developing a methodology for deriving scenarios which illustrate u-Factory from the perspective of industrial applications.

      • 차세대 군작전환경을 위한 유비쿼터스 정보기술의 적용방안

        The 'Operation Iraqi Freedom' was one of the crucial example of information warfare that used ubiquitous information technology including UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) which captured low height aeriel view for real-time surveillance and reconnaissance of enemy situation, as well as hi-tech weapon systems that had capability of precise targeting by use of GPS (global positioning system). The word 'ubiquitous' is originated from latin term meaning 'existing everywhere', and is used for recent information technology to depict enhanced user connectivity to computers or network from anywhere and anytime without user's recognition. Ubiquitous technology permeated more broadly to various information technology toward the human and environment, literally 'everywhere' and changes humankind life style. Furthermore, it drastically changes concept of military operation (CONOP). Dealing with these fundamental changes of military operational environments and finding new way of national defense are urgent strategical requirements in these hi-tech and rapidly evolving operation environments toward NCW (Network Centric Warfare). This paper investigated a classification of the core technologies of the ubiquitous computing environments and security problems due to easy of use and enhanced user accessability. This study suggested a scheme for adoption of ubiquitous technology for our future military operation and evolution of battlefield situation as well as the solution for information security which can make up for ubiquitous military environments.

        블랙-숄즈 모형을 활용한 유비쿼터스 기술 개발 타당성 분석 사례 연구

        최근 유비쿼터스 기술에 대한 개발이 유비쿼터스 상거래라고 하는 진보된 전자상거래를 실용화할 수 있는 단계로 접어들고 있다. 따라서 유비쿼터스 기술의 실제 시스템 적용에 대한 타당성 분석이 필요한 시점이며, 이를 위해서는 유비쿼터스 기술과 같은 진행 중인 기술에 대해 가치를 측정하는 방법에 대한 요구가 증대되고 있다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 재무적 관점에서의 유비쿼터스 기술 개발 타당성을 분석하는 방법론을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 기존의 기술가치 평가를 위해 진행되어 왔던 평가 기법들 중 선물옵션이론의 블랙-숄즈 모형을 채택한 한 평가 모형을 개발하였다. 또한 유비쿼터스 기술 관련 과제 참여 전문가 인터뷰를 통한 실제 사례 분석도 아울러 실시하였다. 그 결과, 콜옵션 가격과 변동성, 유사 기술과의 변동성 대비 등을 통한 유비쿼터스 기술 개발 타당성 평가에 블랙숄즈 모형의 활용 가능성을 확인하였다. Recently, ubiquitous computing technology becomes available to develop advanced electronic commerce:u-commerce. Hence, it is the very time to perform feasibility analysis in applying ubiquitous computing technology, especially estimating economical value of the on-going technology. Hence, the purpose of this paper is to propose a financial value estimating methodology in performing feasibility test on ubiquitous computing technology. To do so, Black and Scholes model is basically adopted. To show the feasibility if the idea proposed in this paper, actual case study through focused group interview with those who are actually performing on-going ubiquitous computing projects. As the result, we validated the possibility of applying Black-Sholes model to assessing feasibility analysis for ubiquitous technology development with the price of call option, volatility, and the comparison with other similar technologies.

        Forecasting the Mega Trends of Korean Women's Life Style Under the Ubiquitous Technology Environment

        Development of technology in the 20th century has made great contributions to women’s lives. With the development of digital convergence, home network, and DMBs (Distance Method Bracings), the ubiquitous technology information era is expected to create a new progressive era for women. The purpose of this study is to investigate the lifestyle that Korean women would like to pursue, especially in regards to the sense of value within the personal and social life of each individual. As a method to suggest how the socio-cultural trends of women's lifestyle will change in the ubiquitous era, qualitative interviews have been conducted over 6 groups with 77 persons between the digital ages of 20s and 30s, living in Seoul. The majority had positive opinions regarding the economic, cultural, emotional, and physical prospects of the ubiquitous information environment. Results show high expectations evolved around freedom from household chores, the equality between the sexes (at home and in society), enhancing the working environment at home, an expansion of human relationships leading to creative knowledge, being able to maintain a single life without economic constraints, and the enjoyment that the internet provides. For suggestions to improve the quality of women’s lifestyle through ubiquitous technology, issues such as individual based customization, time management, creating emotional hyperspaces, multi-media communication systems, and women as leaders were studied.
