텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 태권도진흥재단의 역할 및 방향성

The following research results were obtained by conducting text mining analysis using Textstorm with the necessity and purpose of the study to find out the role of the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation(TPF) and to seek future directions. First, as a result of frequency analysis of frequent words, TPF, Taekwondo, Chairman of the Board, Taekwondowon, and Muju. Second, as a result of analyzing the TF-IDF, Taekwondo, Taekwondowon, support, Chairman of the Board, and Muju. Third, as a result of the N-gram analysis, the most related to the TPF was in the order of Chairman, Taekwondo, Taekwondowon, Oh, and recruitment. In addition, reporters, the Korea Taekwondo Newspaper, and the Taekwondo Newspaper were found to have a high relationship with the TPF in one word. Fourth, in the future, the TPF should continue to promote large-scale events, including international Taekwondo competitions, Taekwondo cultural industries, secure continuous cooperation with Taekwondo-related organizations, and closely cooperate with local communities. Based on these research results, first, continuous cooperation with taekwondo-related organizations in the direction of the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation. Second, it is to lead the fair Taekwondo game culture, and third, continuous support for the field of sports.

빅데이터 분석을 활용한 대한태권도협회의 역할과 방향성 탐색

This study aimed at investigating the perception and role of the Korea Taekwondo Association through big data analysis and finding the future role and direction of the Korea Taekwondo Association through this. In order to the purpose of the study, data from were collected last 10years, and text mining and semantic network analysis were conducted to obtain the following results. First, as a result of frequency analysis, it was found in the order of the Korean Taekwondo Association, Taekwondo, chairman, association, and athletes. Second, the keywords with a high TF-IDF were Taekwondo, the chairman, the players, the association, and the host. Third, as a result of the N-gram analysis, the ones most related to the Korea Taekwondo Association were the president, chairman, taekwondo, and the whole country. Fourth, as a result of the semantic network analysis, it was classified into related organizations and tasks, taekwondo games, board of directors, and executives. Based on these research results, the direction of the Korea Taekwondo Association is first, continuous cooperation with Taekwondo-related organizations. Second, it is the lead of a fair Taekwondo game culture, and third, it is continuous support for the field of daily sports. All of these roles should be continued by the Taekwondo Association of Korea, the home country of Taekwondo, with a sense of responsibility to play a leading role in the development of Taekwondo.

태권도 승품(단)자 감소원인과 대안찾기

In this research, I have intend to examine on a cause of a decrease of those who have Kukkiwon Dan certificates, and to seek after an alternative plan followed this. As a method of study for this, I have utilized a method of qualitative study using a demi-structuralized system of the interview along with a investigation of the literature. Moreover, for the purpose of providing a consequence of this research with a reliability, I have passed through a stage of a verification of a suitability by those who are engaging in a related business of Taekwondo, leaders managing Taekwondo Gyms and ordinary peoples who having an experienced/non experienced in a practice of Taekwondo, and on the basis of this, I have come to the following conclusions. First, in order to find out a cause of a decrease of those who have Dan certificates and a means of settling a problem, a new post which take exclusive charge of Taekwondo Gyms must be set up. A new establishment of a post which take exclusive charge of Taekwondo Gyms will be a good institutional groundwork to overcome “the critical conditions of Taekwondo Gyms” at present, by facing up the reality against after-school hours policies of a government which recently become the point of issue and by working out a countermeasure for this. Second, in order to secure the training class of Taekwondo, a new program must be developed for the juvenile as well as the teenagers to have an interest in Taekwondo. Specially, to prevent a downward tendency of Taekwondo training population, we must prepare such as an extension of a market share rate and an inducement of a long-term training period, a extension of a new class of trainee, and a popularized plan. Third, a poor school record come out the main cause of making Taekwondo training discontinue. Accordingly, for the sake of becoming a long-term of training period, we have needed to establish the educational goal to provide continuously various motives after promotion tests, along with a change toward one who are studying and training Taekwondo. Finally, in respect of securing the new training class at Taekwondo Gyms, it seems that an image advertising related Taekwondo through the mass media has played a greatest role. Therefore, for the purpose of a extension of applicants who want to receive Dan promotion tests, there will be needed absolutely a plan of securing a long-term training class as well as all sorts of public information strategy for a extension of a new class of trainee. 이 연구는 국기원 승품(단)자 감소원인을 규명하고, 이에 대한 대안으로 태권도 수련생 이탈 방지와 시대변화의 요구와 고객에 대한 만족 등을 살펴봄으로써 태권도장의 활성화 방안을 탐색하는데 이 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 토대로 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 승품(단)자의 감소원인과 해결책을 찾기 위해서는 태권도장전문부서가 신설되어야 할 것이다. 태권도장전문부서 신설은 최근 문제시 되고 있는 정부의 방과후 정책에 대한 현실을 직시하고, 이에 대한 대책을 마련함으로써 현재 ‘태권도장의 위기’ 상황을 극복하기 위한 제도적 밑받침이 될 것이다. 둘째, 태권도수련층 확보를 위해서는 유아층뿐만 아니라 청소년들도 태권도에 대한 흥미를 유발시킬 수 있도록 새로운 프로그램을 개발하여야 한다. 특히, 태권도 수련인구 하향추세를 막기 위해서는 시장점유율 확대 및 수련기간의 장기화 유도, 신규수련층 확대, 대중화 방안 등을 마련해야할 것이다. 셋째, 태권도수련의 중단 원인은 학교성적의 부진이 가장 큰 원인으로 나타났다. 따라서 수련기간의 장기화를 위해서는 공부하는 태권도인에로의 교육목표 변화와 함께 승품심사 이후에도 지속적으로 다양한 동기를 제공할 수 있는 교육목표의 수립이 필요하다. 넷째, 태권도장 신규수련층 확보는 대중매체를 통한 태권도관련 이미지 홍보가 가장 큰 역할을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 태권도 승품(단) 심사인원의 확대를 위해서는 장기수련층 확보방안뿐만 아니라 신규수련층을 확보하기 위한 각종 홍보 전략이 절대적으로 필요할 것이다.

A Study on the Cultural Interpretation of Taekwondo Origin and Okinawa Origin

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the cultural base of the Three Taegeuk in depth in Subak, karate(dangsu), Goryeo, Joseon, and Ryukyuguk, and to present the identity of the historical and cul-tural aspects of Taekwondo. Method: The method of this study was to examine and analyze the cultural base of Taekwondo of Subak and karate in depth, to present the identity of Taekwondo in the historical and cultural aspects, and to present the traditionality and legitimacy of Taekwondo in the national flag. Results: The re-establishment of Taekwondo is essential due to the theory of origin of Okinawa, but most Taekwondo people lack the recognition of historicality. Okinawa had close interaction with us in the Joseon Dyn-asty. This means that there are some reliably authentic documents and relics that are related to Subaks and party Subaks, that is, there should be an in-depth analysis on the historical recognition of the origin theory of Taekwondo in Okinawa. This can be a medium to open historical horizons to Taekwondo people. Conclusion: The re-establishment of Taekwondo is essential due to the origin of Taekwondo in Okinawa, but most Taekwondo people are very lacking in historical awareness. Okinawa had close exchanges with us during the Joseon Dynasty, and when we saw it, there were credible ancient documents and artifacts that were related to Subaks and party trees. If Taekwondo academics do not present this, and go to this state, it may bring about a crisis of identity for the national Taekwondo physical education culture. Therefore, there should be a clear argument and a clear argument about Taekwondo history of Taekwondo history. Furthermore, we can present the right historical values and instill the right Taekwondo history education to our descendants.

미국 태권도장 환경변화에 따른 수련프로그램의 변화 양상

Taekwondo, which was originated from Republic of Korea, has developed as martial arts sports practiced in 206 countries in the world according to World Taekwondo Federation (WTF, 2013). Taekwondo has been consistently recognized by Taekwondo trainees all over the world as competitive sports and also as life-time sports by forming psychological, physical, social, educational, and martial value mean while. Such an international spread and development of Taekwondo was due to the fact that there was vitalizations of international spread centrally in the North American region together with an innovation in the domestic technical system of Taekwondo. Considering the aspect that Taekwondo has been spread and developed, it seems like that there will be a continuous extension of practicing environment of Taekwondo in the North American region in the future. Therefore, this research aimed to have a detailed look at the management environment of Taekwondo gyms at the present, and at the same time, to study the changing aspects of the training programs of Taekwondo gym in the United States. Thus, the conclusion of this study is as follows. First, the Taekwondo gyms in the United states today are changing from the place for teaching martial arts to the platform for the educational service. Second, parent, in the United States are getting aware of that Taekwondo has an effect on the personality education of children and youth. Third, the Taekwondo gyms in the United States made a distinction between a training program for adult trainees and the other one for children and youth trainees, and operates vitalizations of both two sectors at the same time. Fourth, there is an increasing importance of programs for children and youth, and this phenomena copies or develops the form of educational service of Taekwondo gyms in Korea. When closely look at the result of this research, it is considered that there is a need to prepare the effective educational programs for Taekwondo masters, who are educated domestically, for them to go overseas.

계간 태권도지(誌)의 변천과 역사적 의미: 제1∼99호를 중심으로

본 연구는 태권도誌가 계간으로 발행되었던 제1∼99호를 분석하여 계간지의 구성과 내용의 특성 및 변화를 살펴보았다. 계간 태권도誌는 ‘친교’, ‘정보 전달’, ‘설득’, ‘정서표현’의 내용을 담고 있다. 독자들에게 전달하고자 하는 협회 관계자들의 의사는 권두언, 축사, 개회사, 편집후기 등의 ‘친교’의 글에서, 국내·외 태권도 소식 및 협회 정보, 태권도와 관련된 각종자료를 통해 ‘정보 전달’을 제공한다. 태권도와 관련된 연구, 논단은 ‘설득’으로, 구독자들이 참여하는 투고는 ‘정서 표현’의 공간이었다. 시간의 흐름에 따라 네 가지 영역의 세부 내용들은 지속적으로 등장하거나 소멸 또는 새롭게 생성되며 계간 태권도誌의 특성과 역할을 보여주었다. 1970년대는 국내의 태권도 내실을 다지는 시기였고, 1980년대는 태권도 경기의 국제화와 세계화에 중점을 둔 시기였다. 1990년대부터는 대중화된 국내의 태권도 현장에 초점을 두며 구독자 또한 기존의 태권도 관계자들에서 어린이와 가족으로 확대되어 전문지의 성격이 변화하였다. 태권도誌의 구성과 내용의 변화를 통하여 올림픽태권도 이전의 역사를 잘 조망할 수 있었다. This study analyzed Quarterly Taekwondo Magazines(Vol.1∼99) and examined the characteristics and changes in composition and content. Quarterly Taekwondo Magazines are composed of friendship text, informative text, persuasive text, and emotional text. Over time, the details of the four texts continued to appear, disappear, or newly created, showing the characteristics and roles of Quarterly Taekwondo magazines. The 1970s was a period of strengthening the internal stability of Taekwondo in Korea, and the 1980s focused on the internationalization and globalization of Taekwondo games. Since the 1990s, the focus has been on the Taekwondo scene in Korea, and readers have also expanded from existing Taekwondo people to children and families. Through changse in the composition and content of Quarterly Taekwondo Magazines, it is possible to understand the modern and comtemporary history of Taekwondo. And It is necessary to reconsider the value of Taekwondo Magazines as a historical material.

생활체육정보화 구축을 위한 포괄적 선행 과제

This study played a purpose of study to present a plan for efficiency of Taekwondo administration through literature study and reward investigation etc.There is Kukkiwon, Korea Taekwondo Association and the World Taekwondo Federation have an organization carrying out Taekwondo administration.Do some overlapping function, and three these organizations are carrying each separate functional role and authority and duty of basically each different character.The Kukkiwon is a mental basis of Taekwondo that is working to total a head of Korean Taekwondo.Be the first administrative organizations, and Korea Taekwondo Association has character as a match group related to Taekwondo.The World Taekwondo Federation is an international organization of Taekwondo.But, the administrative problem of a Taekwondo total the administrative device which can collect enough an opinion of general Taekwondo people was not to each organizations.Therefore, have to add rationally democracy anger about administration currently-oriented efficiency in Taekwondo administration in order to solve a problem.Specially, allow a space participating in on the decision making process, and must introduce a democracy sincerity principle about substratum Taekwondo people about the executives.

Relationship between Taekwondo Uniform Selection Attributes, Brand Image, Brand Reliability, and Behavioral Intention of Taekwondo Trainees

Purpose: As mental, educational, and social relationship formation becomes significant due to the rapid development of advanced industrial civilization, orientalism based on world mentality and personality is gaining attention recently. In particular, attention on Taekwondo, which instructs mental education and physical technique systematically, continues to increase for this reason. Moreover, Taekwondo’s brand asset and value has augmented since the transformation of awareness that this sport can be performed by all ages. The Taekwondo industry also faces fierce competition at an alarming rate due to market saturation. Thus, Taekwondo uniform companies jump into promotions by developing new products and active marketing in order to create new income structures and increase sales. This study analyzes the relation between Taekwondo uniform selective attributes, brand images, brand reliability, and behavioral intention of Taekwondo trainees and presents implications of marketing strategies for sustainable growth in this industry. Methods: This study selected Taekwondo athletes who participated in a 2017 Taekwondo national competition as samples. In addition, researchers visited them, explained the study’s purpose, distributed 300 questionnaires through convenience sampling, and received 298 back. Some (n = 11) questionnaires were excluded, because they were incomplete. Thus, 287 questionnaires were used in this study. SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 were employed for data process and analysis and frequency, confirmative factors, reliability, correlation, and structural equation model (SEM) analyses were conducted. Results: First, it was demonstrated that self-display and brand conformity were significant in influencing experiential images of Taekwondo brands, brand conformity influenced functional images and functionality, and trademark dependency affected considerably symbolic images. Second, experiential images and functional images affected brand reliability significantly among sub-factors of Taekwondo uniform brand images. Third, brand reliability had significant influence in constant purchase intention and word-of-mouth intention. Conclusions: Therefore, Taekwondo brands should provide a variety of distinct selective attributes reflecting trainees’ needs in order to build familiar and sentimental images between brands and trainees. In addition, identifying images for representing their brands by studying brand image and the identity formation and by making trainees familiar with their brands should be priorities. It is important to let customers promote voluntarily purchased brands as well as recommend and spread them to others. In this way, it is necessary to actively use bilateral communication that could induce constantly reliable relationships with customers.

태권도 지도자의 태권도 역사인식과 교육에 대한 사례연구

Taekwondo which has been recognized as the national flag of Korea, was finally recognized for its legal status in March of this year. The designation of the Taekwondo flag is necessary to respond to the Northeast Asia Project and to maintain the identity of Taekwondo. The purpose of this study is to discuss the development direction of Taekwondo leaders based on their examples of Taekwondo history recognition and education. The research method was an in-depth interview with three experts who have worked in Taekwondo-related institutions in G Metropolitan City and have more than 10 years of leadership experience. Problems of Taekwondo leaders were the lack of interest and interest in history, the development of athletes for the performance and qualification, the sports culture based on physical activity, and the lack of a standardized Taekwondo history education program. Also, the solution was to find meaningful measures such as change of qualification system, development of history education program, establishment of Taekwondo cultural heritage, Taekwondo history education through formal curriculum, and conversion of Taekwondo history awareness. This effort is expected to provide practical information to the leaders of Taekwondo hall, universities, and Taekwondo organizations and is expected to be used as an important basis for constructing educational policies. 그동안 한국의 국기(國技)로 인식되고 있던 태권도가 마침내 올해 3월에 법적 지위를 인정받았다. 태권도 국기 지정은 태권도 동북공정에 대응하고, 태권도의 정체성을 유지하기 위해서 반드시 필요하다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 태권도 지도자의 태권도 역사 인식과 교육에 대한 사례를 바탕으로 발전 방향을 논의하는데 있다. 연구 방법은 G광역시 태권도 관련 기관에 근무하며 10년 이상의 지도자 경력을 가진 3명의 전문가를 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 태권도 지도자 실태의 문제점은 역사에 대한 관심과 흥미 부족, 편협적인 선수 육성, 신체활동 중심의 스포츠 문화, 태권도 역사 교육프로그램의 부재 등으로 나타났다. 그리고 이에 따른 해결 방안으로는 자격제도의 변화와 역사 교육프로그램 개발, 태권도 문화유산 구축, 정규 교육과정을 통한 태권도 역사 교육 그리고 태권도 역사 인식의 전환과 같은 의미 있는 방안들을 모색하였다. 이러한 노력은 태권도장과 대학 그리고 태권도 단체의 지도자에게 실질적인 정보 제공이 가능하며, 이를 위한 교육 정책 구성에도 중요한 근거로 활용될 수 있을 것을 기대한다.

Current Status and Prospects of TAEKWONDO’s Globalization

As of 2018, as evidenced by 209 member states of the World Taekwondo Federation and 10,023,090 black belt holders, Taekwondo today is loved as a sport of the world beyond being Korea’s traditional martial art. Together with the economic development, Korea has been able to utilize its position and honor as the originator country of Taekwondo for the last half century, and has continued to grow while strengthening its values and functions as an Olympic sport. However, the rapid growth of Taekwondo through sport has caused issues such as under-mining the value of traditional martial art, and the need for qualitative growth such as the development of in depth related contents has emerged. This study examined the globalization process and the current status of Taekwondo, analyzed the current status of the Taekwondo’s globalization project and Taekwondo’s dissemina-tion, and contemplated on the globalization and sustainable development of Taekwondo through it. As alterna-tives for the continued development and globalization of Taekwondo are, first, to maintain Taekwondo as an official Olympic game, second, to seek plans for long term trainers of Taekwondo, and third, systemic improve-ments for the globalization project of Taekwondo and other related policy.
