        철골세우기 작업의 영향요인별 현장생산성 측정 및 분석

        In today's construction industry, buildings have been more complicated and higher, the demands of steel works have been increasingly concerned, which makes the schedule planning and management more significant. However, in actual construction sites, management is more based on a manager's construction experience than productivity data accumulated in previous projects. Moreover, most of the existing studies also featured a theoretical approach rather than an analysis of data straightforwardly collected in sites. In this study, a steel-erection site was visited to collect productivity data. The study found that there were significant disparities between aboveground work productivity and underground work; one tower crane operated work and two tower crane operated; and work productivity conducted in clear weather condition, cloud and rainy. However, the productivities of ‘first node on ground’ and ‘second node on ground’ were estimated similar. The productivity data collected and factors affecting the productivity will help managers to plan and control their similar steel-erection works. This study will also be beneficial for those performing related studies.       • 자립형 철골 접합부를 이용한 철골설치 방식의 경제성 평가에 관한 연구

        Construction projects are being the skyscraper and the large size by limited site condition and developing construction technology. Therefore, Steel structure work is steadily increasing caused by easy to work and structural safety. However, steel-frame work has the large incidence of heavy accident potentially. Recently a research group has recently developed newly designed self-supported steel joint for enhancing safety of steel erection work. Before applying the steel joint in a construction site, economic evaluation should be performed. Thus, we proposed the method for measuring economic efficiency of the new steel joint and verified economic feasibility of the steel joint method through a case study. As a result, Steel erection method using by self-supported steel joint showed economic rather than the one using by H-beams.

        Feasibility study on the wide and long 9%Ni steel plate for use in the LNG storage inner tank shell

        This study aimed to assess the feasibility on the wide and long 9%Ni steel plate for use in the LNG storage inner tank shell. First, 5-m-wide and 15-m-long 9%Ni steel plates were test manufactured from a steel mill and specimens taken from the plates were tested for strength, toughness, and flatness to verify their performance based on international standards and design specifications. Second, plates with a thickness of 10 mm and 25 mm, a width of 4.8~5.0 m, and a length of 15 m were test fabricated by subjecting to pretreatment, beveling, and roll bending resulting in a final width of 4.5~4.8 m and a length of 14.8m with fabrication errors identical to conventional plates. Third, welded specimens obtained via shield metal arc welding used for vertical welding of inner tank shell and submerged arc welding used for horizontal welding were also tested for strength, toughness and ductility. Fourth, verification of shell plate material and fabrication was followed by test erection using two 25-mm-thick, 4.5-m-wide and 14.8-m-long 9%Ni steel plates. No undesirable welding failure or deformation was found. Finally, parametric design using wide and long 9%Ni steel plates was carried out, and a simplified design method to determine the plate thickness along the shell height was proposed. The cost analysis based on the parametric design resulted in about 2% increase of steel weight; however, the construction cost was reduced about 6% due to large reduction in welding work.

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual conditions of the labour management is steel construction in Japan. The study has been performed by job site research and site observation. On this paper I studied the present situation in the job site and to propose man-hour conditions in steel construction. The result of this study are as follows: 1. About 20% of the whole-time working is consists of over-time working. 2. The working time of Erection & Fit-up bolting worker is changes by number of member rather than steel weight. 3. The working time of Final tightening worker is strongly relate with the number of final tightening bolts. This is the result of the stable working-posture and the standard procedure. 4. From 164 to 214 sets of final tightening bolts can be tighten by 8-hour working/day.

        요소작업 기반 티어공법 철골조립 시뮬레이션 모델

        This paper presents a simulation model that facilitates to analyze and estimate both time and cost of the steel erection operation making use of tier construction method. By conducting motion and time study, resource processes of the operation and their tasks of the processes are defined. These atomic tasks are used as a building block to implement a simulation model that reflects the real world steel erection operation assembling the steel material in the job site. Task based operation simulation model deals with local variables or delay factors affecting productivity and improves the reusability of existing production models. Therefore, the proposed approach allows the model to adjust more easily to construction method change. The proposed steel erection model was verified by comparing with the Construction Standard Production Unit system (CSPU) and daily work report.

        건설근로자 안전의식 분석을 통한 안전관리 개선에 관한 연구

        The intention of this study is to analyze safety consciousness of construction labors in Gawang-Ju region. According to Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency, the rate of disaster in construction industry is very high comparing with other fields. Most of all, the consciousness of construction labors is very important because accidents are caused from it mainly. For this reason, it is necessary to recognize safety consciousness of labors who directly work in construction field. For decreasing the rate of disaster in construction, I examined and analyzed safety consciousness of construction labors and then, groped improvement of safety activity. Finally, this study deducted improvement of safety activities and management.

        SMART 프레임의 공기단축 효과 분석 - 대형 물류창고 사례 -

        As online commerce increases, the construction of large logistics buildings worldwide is exploding. Most of these buildings have the characteristics of long span and heavy loaded and use precast concretecomponents, a pin joint structure, for rapid construction. However, due to construction safety andstructural stability requirements, the pin joint structure has many limitations in terms of the erectionof the PC member, which increases the time and cost. A structural frame connected with steel jointsbetween precast concrete components, called a SMART frame, has been developed, which addressesthese constraints and risks. However, the effect of the appllication of a SMART frame on the time aspecthas not been analysed. The study is a time reduction effect analysis of a SMART frame for long span andheavy loaded logistics buildings. For this study, the authors select a case site erected using existing PCcomponents, and compare the time reduction with the SMART frame erection simulations. Throughthis analysis, it was found that a time reduciton about 4 months, approximately 48% of the conventionalPC installation period could be achieved. If the SMART frame is applied when carrying outfuture large-scale logistics building projects, it can be expected to have the effect of significantlyshortening the construction period compared to the conventional method. 인터넷 상거래가 증가함에 따라 전세계적으로 대형 물류 건물의 건설이 증가하고 있다. 이들 건축물은 대부분 장경간중재하의 특성을 가지고 있으며 빠른 시공을 위해 핀조인트 구조인 PC 공법을 적용한다. 그러나 핀조인트 구조는 시공 안전성및 구조적 안정성으로 인해 PC 부재의 설치에 많은 제약이 있어 시간과 비용이 많이 소요된다. 이러한 제약과 문제점을 해결하기 위해 PC 부재 사이의 철골 조인트로 연결된 구조 프레임인 SMART frame이 개발되었다. SMART frame에 대한 많은연구가 진행되었으나 공기 측면에 대한 영향은 분석되지 않았다. 본 연구의 목적은 장경간 중재하 물류창고시설에 대한SMART frame의 공기단축 효과를 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 기존 PC 공법에 의해 건설된 사례현장을 선정하여SMART frame 설치 시뮬레이션과 시간 단축을 비교하였다. 그 결과, 기존 PC설치공기의 약 48%의 수준으로 약 4개월이 단축 되었다. 추후 대형물류센터 프로젝트 진행 시 SMART frame을 적용한다면 기존 PC공법 대비 획기적인 공기단축의 효과를 가질 것으로 기대된다.

        표준품셈 제ㆍ개정 지원용 클라이언트/서버 사이클론 시스템

        This study introduces a Client/Server based CYCLONE (C/S CYCLONE) that enables to support the revision of construction standard production unit (CSPU) effectively. Construction processes are highly repetitive. A resource entity continuously cycles through work tasks that processes or uses resources. Web-CYCLONE (Halpin 1992) has been accepted as a useful tool for modeling a construction operation and analyzing the productivity of it. However, the system has a lack of practicality as follows: (1) it does not efficiently record and keep track of operation models in a database; (2) it does not allow users to retrieve a model for reuse and update the model with local conditions; finally (3) extending it into a practical domain is rare. In order to overcome the aforementioned limitations of the simulation system in the view of practitioners, this paper presents three strategies to converting the existing CYCLONE system to be suitable for an CSPU’s revision process and provides system user interfaces corresponding to the strategies. The usability of the developed C/S CYCLONE was verified by using a case study on jobsite steel erection operation.
