        공조겸용 제연시스템의 성능확보를 위한 압력손실에 관한 연구

        소방 제연설비 설계 시 설비의 공조시스템 계산법을 그대로 적용함에 따라 압력이 부족하여 실제 화재 시 제연설비의 실효성에큰 문제점이 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 관계 엔지니어는 이미 인지하고 있음에도 제연설비가 적용된 시점에서 현재까지 이를 그대로 적용하고 있는 현실이다. 해외 기준을 조사⋅분석한 결과, 우리나라 계산법과는 완전히 다른 실질적인 계산법을 적용하므로서 화재 시 실제로 제연설비의 역할을 극대화할 수 있는 방법을 적용하고 있음을 확인하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제연시스템의 정압계산을 우리나라 계산법과 해외 계산법을 각각 적용하여, 정압 값을 비교⋅분석한 후 실질적인 제연설비의 기준을 제안하도록 하였다. 특히, 해외 계산법은 HVAC System Duct Design에 의한 계산법과 공조시뮬레이션 프로그램의 대표적인 CONTAM을 이용한 2가지 방법을 적용하였다. 실 현장에 적용한 연구 결과, 우리나라의 정압 계산법에 의한 정압은 43 mmAq, 해외 기준에 의한 정압은 235 mmAq, 또한 CONTAM에 의한 정압은 190 mmAq의 결과를 얻어 우리나라의 제연시스템과는 큰 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. The calculation method for the facility air conditioning system is applied as it is during the design of the smoke control system in the current firefighting site. Hence, the pressure is insufficient resulting in a lot of problems with the effectiveness of the smoke control system during the actual fire. Even though the engineer concerned recognizes the problem, it has been applied intactly since the smoke control system was applied. As the result of surveying and analyzing the overseas standards, it was found that the method of maximizing the role of the smoke control system during fire by applying the substantial calculation method being completely different from the local calculation method. According to the study, the standards of the substantial smoke control system were proposed after comparing and analyzing the static pressure value by applying the local calculation method and the overseas calculation method respectively for the calculation of the static pressure of the smoke control system. Especially, the overseas calculation method applied the two methods using the calculation method based on the HVAC system duct design and the representative CONTAM of the air conditioning simulation program. The study of the application in the site shows that there is a great difference from the national smoke control system by getting the result of 43 mmAq as the static pressure based on the national static pressure calculation method, 235 mmAq as the static pressure based on the overseas standards, and 190 mmAq as the static pressure based on CONTAM.

      • 초고층 건물 제연설비 개선방안에 대한 시뮬레이션 연구

        The high-rise buildings have merits to provide lots of spaces in central city, but it also have demerits to take a long time to evacuate and to have a bad influence on smoke control system. So it is necessary to research the improvement of smoke control system in high-rise building. The improvement of smoke control system is as follows : airtightness reducing the stack effect, plans of refuge floor and vertical division in inner vertical space, differential pressure standard reflected a fire situation, performance-based fire safety system design. These improvements apply to the high-rise building under construction, so it's improved that the pressure difference is more stable and the problems of differential pressure are better than before application.

        These days, almost buildings have underground parking lots. But there is no regulation about smoke control system, so it is very dangerous when the sprinkler doesn't work at the firing situation. Therefore it needs to study about the smoke control system in the underground parking lot. We carefully compare the domestic standards and international standards and research the design cases of underground parking lots. Also we test in the underground parking lot with cold smoke to find out the smoke movement. With all the research we suggest the basic plan of smoke control system in the underground parking lot.

        시뮬레이션을 통한 연돌효과가 지하주차장 부속실제연설비의 성능변화에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구

        최근 지어지는 대규모 고층건축물의 경우 지하에 주차장을 두고 여러 개의 코아가 연결되는 구조이다. 주차장을 통해 여러개의 코아가 연결된 구조에서 제연설비가 동작되는 경우 제연설비의 성능변화를 확인하였다. 여러개의 코아가 연결된 지하주차장의 면적을 다르게 변경한 상태에서 차압의 변화를 확인하였으며 변화된 차압 간의 관계를 확인하기 위하여 상관관계분석을 하였다. 분석결과 차압은 지하주차장의 면적에 반비례하게 변화하는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 1개의 코어만 해석하는경우와 2개의 코어를 동시에 해석하는 경우는 상관관계가 없는 것으로 분석되나 차압의 변화가 극히 적어 제연설비의 성능에영향을 주지는 않는 것으로 확인되었다. Recently, constructed large-scale high-rise buildings, multiple cores are often interconnected with an underground parking area. Performance variations of the smoke control system were observed when operating in this interconnected structure. Particularly, the pressure difference varied as the underground parking area, connected to several cores, underwent modifications. A correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationship between the fluctuating pressure differences. The findings indicated that the pressure difference was inversely proportional to the underground parking area. Moreover, the analysis revealed no correlation between evaluating a single core and simultaneously analyzing two cores. However, the variations in pressure difference were minimal and did not impact the performance of the smoke control system.

        In Korea, smoke control measures through NFSC 501 are proposed to reduce human casualties caused by smoke in the event of a fire. However, as a result of investigating and analyzing domestic and foreign standards, it was found that domestic regulations do not set fire source, but simply set smoke emissions by floor area or height of smoke boundary. Foreign regulations set fire source. Therefore, it is judged that it is necessary to review whether the current domestic regulations can be applied in the event of an actual building fire. So, this paper aims to identify the differences in domestic and foreign standards through investigation and analysis of related standards for fire zone smoke control system in each country and use them as basic data to improve the performance of zone smoke control system.

        In this study, the commissioning case of IKEA first store in Gwangmyeong city, Korea is focused on the smoke control system thru Performance Based Design and conducting the performance validation during the commissioning process at the construction site. It is practically difficult to verify the performance in the code based smoke control system design by utilizing the HVAC system, and the performance verification is basically required in the performance based smoke control system design. The purpose of this study is to provide the basis of commissioning smoke control system.

        중앙코어 개방형 인텔리전트빌딩의 화재확산방지에 관한 연구

        This study researched on the smoke control system which is applicable for delay and prevention on fire spreading in the most common case of central core open intelligent building. Fire simulation program (FDS) was used to analyze the effect on the applicability of selected fire scenarios on each case. As a result, I confirmed that fire shutters blocked fire spreading by limiting fire zone, but the effect of blocking fire spreading of smoke control window installed on one surface was reduced after time has passed. The study found that the area ratio and the height of windows and installation on multiple surfaces shall be considered in order to improve the smoke exhaust effect of smoke control window. Air flow of ventilation shall be calculated with the consideration of fire load and the HRR of internal combustibles and the smoke outlet are determined to be effective with securing a sufficient size in square shape. Especially the result of this study can be maximized by mixed complex operations of smoke control system which is proposed through this study rather than the individual applications. 본 연구는 가장 일반적인 형태인 중앙코어 개방형 인텔리전트 빌딩 화재시 화재 확산 지연 및 방지를 위해 적용 가능한 제연시스템에대해 연구하였다. 선정된 시나리오에 대해 각각의 Case별 적용 가능성에 대한 효과를 분석하기 위해 화재시뮬레이션 프로그램(FDS)을이용했다. 그 결과 방화셔터는 화재구역을 제한함으로써 화재확산을 차단하였으나, 한쪽 면에 설치된 제연창은 시간 경과 후 화재확산을 차단하는 효과는 감소함을 확인하였다. 제연창의 연기배출 효과의 향상을 위해선 창호의 종횡 면적비, 높이와 다면의 설치가 고려되어야 하고, 제연설비는 배출풍량과 배연구의 형상 및 수량 등에 따라 제연 성능에 관계한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 제연풍량은 내부가연물의 화재하중과 열방출율(HRR)을 고려해 산정되어야 하며, 연기 배출구는 정사각형태로 충분한 크기가 확보되어야 효과적일 것으로 판단된다. 특히, 본 연구의 연구결과로 선정된 시스템의 단독 적용보다는 혼용된 복합적 적용과 운영이 본 연구 결과를 극대화시킬 수 있으리라 판단된다.

        지하주차장의 층고 변화에 따른 연기제어 특성에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to analyze smoke temperature and visibility characteristics of an underground parking lot in case of fire by simulation. There were temperature changes of Case 1 (7.77℃), Case 3 (4.66℃). There was a change in the visibility of Case 1 (5.21 m), Case 3 (28.91 m), As revealed in results of Case. There was a difference in temperature and visibility at the height of the clean layer (H : 2.0 m). A system based an organic complement of passive and active systems will facilitate maintaining an efficient system. There were many variations in the floor height of underground parking lot and temperature and visibility depending on smoke ventilation system operation.

        Recently, there has been a social interest in fire safety facilities due to fires that cause great damage to people, such as the fire at the Icheon distribution center. In the event of a fire, it can be seen that smoke and toxic gases cause fatal harm to human life above all else. This is the time when the importance of smoke-controlling facilities is emphasized in order for people in buildings to safely evacuate in case of fire. Therefore, in this study, a fire simulation was conducted for apartment houses to compare and analyze the effect on the performance of the air supply pressurization according to the opening and closing rate of the apartment house and the leakage area.

      • 터널내 열차 화재시 효과적인 구난역 제연 설비를 위한 수치 해석 연구

        In designing smoke-control system of rescue station in train tunnel, a purpose is to prevent a disaster by proposing the jet fan operation together with smoke-control curtain in tunnel fire. This study has investigated the relationship of the Heat Release Rate(HRR) and a adequate ventilation velocity to control the fire propagation in tunnel fire, and has improved the effect of the smoke-control curtain on preventing the flow of pollutants. In this study, Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) simulations with STAR-CD(ver 3.24) were carried out on predicting the fire spreading and the flow of pollutants, considering jet fan operations and effect of smoke-control curtain. Our simulation domain is the full scale model of the 'DAEGWALLYEONG' 1st tunnel. The results represent that ventilation operation can control the fire spreading and pollutants effectively to prevent a disaster.
