        PMV 온열 환경과 조도가 시작업 성능에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구

        In this study, a questionnaire was developed to assess error search and correction tasks, and an analysis was performed on the accuracy of the tasks and the time required for their completion in order to identify the effects of LED light source illumination on visual performance according to changes in a predicted mean vote (PMV) thermal environment. In addition, a subjective evaluation was performed by conducting a survey on the level of visual fatigue experienced during the tasks. In the experiment, four types of PMV thermal environments were established according to PMV values in the temperature range of (17±1-29±1) °C and the humidity range of (50±5-60±5) %, and the LED light source illumination was divided into three types: 400lx, 700lx, and 1000lx. The experimental results confirmed that the accuracy of the error search (LED p value=0.058, PMV*LED p value=0.083) and correction tasks and the time required(LED p value=0.004, PMV p value=0.000) for their completion were affected by changes in both the PMV thermal environment and the LED light source illumination, whereas a significant difference in visual fatigue was observed only in the PMV thermal environment(p value=0.003).         실내 환경 체임버 실험에 의한 국내 성인 남녀의 PMV 온열 쾌적 범위

        The purposes of this study are to investigate neutral PMVs for young korean occupants, and to interpret thermal comfort range of the PMV. The 11 thermal conditions (PMV = ±2) were simulated in an indoor environmental chamber. The background noise level of 45 dBA, illuminance of 880 lux on the participants’ desk, air speed of 0.1 m/s, the clothing ensemble of 0.73 clo were maintained throughout the experimental sessions. Temperature sensation, temperature preference, thermal comfort were evaluated by 50 young korean participants after the thermal adaption period of 55 minutes using the visual analog scale without a center point. Regression models were developed to predict neutral PMVs for each thermal parameters and a PMV-PPD equation was analyzed to compare the traditional Fanger’s PMV-PPD model. The neutral PMVs were positioned between –0.5 and +0.5 which are known to thermal comfort range, however the lowest PPD was 26.3% when the PMV = -0.18 which was not consistent with Fanger’s model. A new PMV comfort range was proposed using the neutral PMV for the temperature preference which could be interpreted as the most endurable thermal condition for comfort by occupants themselves in this study.

        예상 온열감 반응 기반 온열 쾌적감에 따른 자율신경계 및 중추신경계 반응

        This study was performed to investigate responses to the autonomic nerve system and the central nervous system as the thermal comfort conditions based on the PMV (predicted mean vote). To do this, conditions were divided into the comfortable and uncomfortable condition as the PMV value. In addition, EDA (electrodermal activity), ECG (electro- cardiogram), and EEG (electroencephalogram) were measured while subjects have performed the task that is required cognitive processing. As a result, the measurements were consistently higher on the uncomfortable condition than on the comfortable condition in the autonomic nervous system. However, in the central nervous system, the orientation of the measurements was different. These results suggested that in the classification and rating of the PMV-based thermal comfort, the periphery physiological measurements which are not related to cognitive function could be used well, whereas the central physiological measurements which are related to cognitive function might not be appropriate. 본 연구는 예상 온열감 반응(predicted mean vote; PMV)에 기반한 쾌적감에 따른 자율신경계 및 중추신경계 반응을 살펴보고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 PMV에 따라 쾌적 조건과 불쾌 조건을 구분하고 실험참여자가 각 조건에서 인지적 처리과제를 수행하는 동안 자율신경계 반응인 피부전기활동(electrodermal activity; EDA)과 심전도(electrocardiogram; ECG), 그리고 중추신경계 반응인 뇌전도(electroencephalogram; EEG)를 측정하였다. 그 결과, 자율신경계 반응의 경우, 쾌적 조건에 비해 불쾌 조건에서 보다 각성적인 생리반응이 일관성 있게 관찰되었지만 중추신경계 반응에서는 각 측정부위에서 일관성 있는 결과가 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 인간의 인지적 기능과 관련이 없는 말초신경계 생리반응의 경우에는 PMV에 의한 쾌, 불쾌의 구분 및 평가가 유효할 수 있지만 인지적 기능과 관련성이 높은 중추신경계 생리반응의 경우에는 PMV에 의한 쾌, 불쾌의 구분 및 평가가 유효하지 않을 수 있음을 의미한다.

        PMV 제어에 따른 사무소 건물의 실내열환경과 에너지소비량 분석

        The purpose of this study is to analyse the effects of air conditioned room controlled by PMV(Predicted Mean Vote)for energy consumption and human comfort in office building. The ‘EnergyPlus’ was used for the evaluation of indoor thermal environment and energy consumption by the controls of room temperature and PMV. The result indicates that the PMV control could prove more profitable method for improvement of indoor thermal environment and energy conservation. Consequently, PMV control has a distinc advantage over most other control methods. An additional study is required to establish the various thermal comfort control for rooms on the basis of this work.

        Usually, Indoor thermal environment is controlled by temperature with wall mounted thermostat. Indoor temperature control could not be provided the thermal comfort at all the time because thermal comfort is influenced by many parameters of environment such as temperature, relative humidity, air velocity, activity level, clothing insulation and radiant temperature. The purpose of this study is that predicted mean vote(PMV) would be available as index as control parameter. And, Thermal comfort is evaluated both PMV control and temperature control by simulation and several cases were compared, in which the set-point temperature range of between 22℃ and 24℃ and, set-point PMV index through the respective heating season in the simulation. The results show that PMV control is better to maintain human comfort condition and to save the energy than ordinary set-point temperature. It is time to foster a comfortable indoor environment, while minimizing the energy consumption of building systems. The thermal comfort provides satisfaction of thermal environment and affects productivity of occupants in residential building.

        아파트 건물에서 재실자 활동량이 고려된 PMV제어에 따른 연간 국가 차원의 1차 에너지 및 온실가스 감축량 분석

        In this study, the effects of considering hourly metabolic rate variations for predicted mean vote (PMV) control on the heating and cooling energy and greenhouse gas emission were investigated. The case adopting PMV control taking the hourly metabolic rate into account was comparatively analyzed against the conventional dry-bulb air temperature control, using a detailed simulation technique. Under the assumption that all the apartments in Korea adopt the PMV control incorporating real-time metabolic rate measurements, nationwide reductions of primary energy and greenhouse gas emission were analyzed. As a result, PMV control considering hourly metabolic rate variations is expected to reduce national primary energy by 6.2% compared to conventional dry-bulb air temperature control, corresponding to reduction of 10,342 GWh. In addition, it turned out that 6.6% of tCO2 emission can be reduced by adopting PMV control, corresponding to nationwide reduction of greenhouse gas emission by approximately 1,720,000 tCO2.

      • 초소형 개인 이동수단용 차량(PMV) 보급 활성화를 위한 대응 방안

        대기오염, 지구온난화 등에 대한 국제 환경규제가 지속적으로 강화되고 있는 실정이며 이에 따라 친환경 교통수단의 중요성이 증 가하고 있다. 또한, 인구밀도가 높은 지역에서는 주차공간의 부족, 교통혼잡 등이 심각한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이러한 교통 분야에 서의 문제들에 대한 대안으로서 초소형 개인 이동수단(PMV)이 전 세계적으로 주목받고 있으며 선진국을 중심으로 개발이 가속화되 고 있는 실정이다. PMV는 향후 막대한 시장이 예측됨과 동시에 복지, 관광 등을 지원할 미래 교통수단으로서의 역할이 기대되는 만큼 장려를 위한 법제도 및 기술적 개발을 위한 지원이 체계적으로 이루어져야 한다. 하지만 국내의 PMV 관련 규정은 이러한 준 비가 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 세계 각국의 자동차 제조업체가 개발한 PMV 현황 및 보급 촉진을 위한 각 국의 지원 정책 및 법제도를 파악한다. 이와 함께 국내의 법, 규정 및 기술적 현황을 파악하고 이를 분석하여 PMV 활성화를 위한 정책적, 기 술적 방안을 검토한다.

        A dynamic human reliability assessment approach for manned submersibles using PMV-CREAM

        Safety is always acritical focus of exploration of ocean resources, and it is well recognized that human factor is one of the major causes of accidents and breakdowns. Our research developed a dynamic human reliability assessment approach, Predicted Mean Vote-Cognitive Reliability and Error Analysis Method (PMV-CREAM), that is applicable to monitoring the cognitive reliability of oceanauts during deep-sea missions. Taking into account the difficult and variable operating environment of manned submersibles, this paper analyzed the cognitive actions of oceanauts during the various procedures required by deep-sea missions, and calculated the PMV index using human factors and dynamic environmental data. The Cognitive Failure Probabilities (CFP) were calculated using the extended CREAM approach. Finally, the CFP were corrected using the PMV index. This PMV-CREAM hybrid model can be utilized to avoid human error in deep-sea research, thereby preventing injury and loss of life during undersea work. This paper verified the method with "Jiaolong" manned submersible 7,000 m dive test. The"Jiaolong" oceanauts CR(Corrected CFP) is dynamic from 3.0615E-3 to 4.2948E-3, the CR caused by the environment is 1.2333E-3. The result shown the PMV-CREAM method could describe the dynamic human reliability of manned submersible caused by thermal environment.
