RESTful 웹 어플리케이션 행위 모델 기반 결함 위치 추정

        장종인,이낙원,류덕산,백종문 한국정보과학회 2020 정보과학회논문지 Vol.47 No.11

Because of the nature of Web applications being more complex, larger in scale and more likely to be composed of black box components compared to traditional software systems wherein fault localization techniques are actively used, existing techniques can be only minimally applied to localize faults in Web applications. Also, existing studies to localize a fault in a complex system such as a Web application system also have limitations in capturing the indirect interactions in Web applications and suffers from the Web application’s dynamic nature. In this study, we propose a behavior modeling-based fault localization for the RESTful Web applications. The approach models a RESTful Web application as a sequence of behaviors that captures the direct and indirect interactions in the application. The modeling process is lightweight and it is not necessary to build the model in advance of the actual execution of application. The spectrum-based fault localization is then performed in the granularity of behavior pairs in the behavior model. To demonstrate the approach, a case study on the RESTful Web application built upon the YouTube Data API v3 was conducted and demonstrated that the approach can successfully resolve aforementioned difficulties and localize a fault in the RESTful Web application.

The adoption of public smartphone applications in Korea: Empirical analysis on maturity level and influential factors

Eom, S.J.,Kim, J.H. JAI Press ; Elsevier Science Ltd 2014 Government information quarterly Vol.31 No.suppl1

With the rapid proliferation of smartphones, public smartphone applications (hereafter public applications) have emerged as a new technology and innovation toward smarter government. To assess the current status of the adoption of public applications in Korea, the authors measure the maturity level of these public applications by applying a newly developed 'public application maturity model.' In addition, the factors influencing the differences in the maturity levels of public applications are analyzed. It was found that Korean governmental agencies have adopted diverse public applications actively in an effort to deliver public services. The overall maturity level of public applications, however, is accessed as relatively low at present. Moreover, the results of the analysis of the factors influencing the maturity of public applications can be interpreted as showing that the government agencies have only followed the trend of the rapid proliferation of public applications without considering how high-level citizen-centric services could be delivered through public applications.

Abstract

The modelling of an interbedded shale barrier in heterogeneous oil sands reservoirs has high uncertainty, which has a critical impact on the steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) performance. Generally, an interpretation of 4D seismic data is the most widely used method for understanding the uncertainty of the shale barrier size.

In a shale interbedded oil sands reservoir, the SAGD production data, such as the oil rate and steam-oil ratio (SOR), increase to a peak point and decrease to a trough point; the point intermediate between these two points is called the inflection point (IP).

In this study, proxy models were developed to predict the shale barrier size using reservoir parameters and the IP of the SAGD production data without utilizing a 4D seismic data interpretation. In addition, a field application was carried out to test the developed proxy models using the data from Suncor's Firebag SAGD project, Alberta, Canada.

The proxy models for predicting the shale width (WD), shale length (LN), and vertical location of the shale (VL) were developed using the statistical analysis of the reservoir parameters, shale size and location, and IP from production data. As a verification procedure, homogeneous 3-D simulations were performed to reconstruct the predicted WD, LN, and VL, and the oil production profiles of the SAGD field were compared with the simulation results. The oil production profiles showed a similar trend between the simulation results of the reconstructed model and the field SAGD production data. Therefore, the developed proxy models may use to predict the shale barrier size properly, and might be useful for field applications.

Highlights

Proxy models were to predict the shale barrier size using reservoir parameters and production data.

All the non-linear proxy models have the best prediction performance.

A field application was performed to verify the developed proxy models using the data from Suncor's Firebag SAGD project.
