        키네시오 테이핑 적용이 암 컬 10-RM의 반복횟수, 근활성도 및 근피로에 미치는 영향

        [PURPOSE] The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of Kinesio taping by comparing the repetition frequency, the EMG responses of iEMG and MPF with or without application of Kinesio taping during arm curl 10-RM. [METHODS] Subjects were consisted of 10 college men. The subjects performed non-taping 10-RM without Kinesio taping, or Taping 10-RM, and Taping Max-RM of 10-RM with Kinesio taping. The Kinesio taping were applied by the methods reported by KTAI (2011). Paired t-test and repeated ANOVA were used. [RESULTS] The repetition frequency of Taping Max-RM of 10-RM was increased about 25.2% than that of Non-taping 10-RM(p<.01). There were significant difference in iEMG among Non-taping 10-RM, Taping 10-RM, and Taping Max-RM of 10-RM both biceps brachii(p<.05) and pectorialis major(p<.01), and iEMG of Taping 10-RM was lower than iEMG of the others(p<.05). iEMG of Taping 10-RM both biceps brachii and pectorialis major was lower that of Non-taping 10-RM even the same physics work. There were no significant difference between iEMG of Non-taping 10-RM and iEMG of Taping Max-RM of 10-RM even repetition frequency after the application of taping were increased 25.2%. In case of MPF, there was no significant difference among Non-taping 10-RM, Taping 10-RM, and Taping Max-RM of 10-RM both biceps brachii and pectorialis major. MPF related with muscle fatigue factor showed no significant difference. [CONCLUSIONS] The repetition frequency of arm curl was increased about 25.2% after the application of Kinesio taping. Kinesio taping reduced iEMG of muscle during 10-RM. There was no significant difference in iEMG even at maximum repetition. However, MPF was not effected by application of taping.

        만성요통 환자의 테이핑 적용 시 체간의 굴곡과 신전의 근력과 지구력의 변화 측정

        In this study, the muscle strength and endurance of the lumbar at flexion and extension were determined using and isokinetic muscle strength meter (Biodex) in patients with chronic lumbargo (10 male and 10 females), and the changes in muscle strength and endurance of the lumbar at flexion and extension after application of Y-shaped sacrospinalis muscle taping, typically used for patient with lumbargo, were studied. In addition, the sacrospinalis muscle taping of a different shape (I-shaped taping) was applied bilaterally centering on the spine, and the muscle strength and endurance of the lumbar at flexion and extension were determined and compared with those before taping. In addition, the results after application of Y-shaped taping and I-shaped taping were also compared. 1. The extensor muscle strength of the lumbar at loading of 60° /sec before application of kinesio Taping and after application of Y-shaped taping showed the level of significance (p<.05). The flexor muscle strength of the lumbar at loading of 60° / sec before application of kinesio taping and after application of Y-shaped taping did not show the level of significance. 2. The flexor muscle endurance of the lumbar at loading of 90° / sec before application of kinesio Taping and application of Y-shaped taping did now show the level of significance. The extensor muscle endurance of the lumbar at loading of 90° / sec before application of kinesio Taping and after application of Y-shaped taping did not show the level of significance. 3 The extensor muscle strength of the lumbar at loading of 60° /sec before application of kinesio Taping and after application of I-shaped taping show the lever of significance (p<.05). The flexor muscle strength of the lumbar at loading of 60° /sec before application of kinesio Taping and after application of I-shaped taping showed the level of significance (p<.05). 4. The flexor muscle endurance of the lumbar at loading of 90° /sec before application of kinesio taping and after application of I-shaped taping showed the level of significance. The extensor muscle strength of the lumbar at loading of 90°/sec before application of kinesio Taping and after application of I-shaped taping showed the level of significance (p<.05). 5. In comparison between after application of Y-shaped taping and after application of I-shaped taping, the flexor muscle strength of the lumbar at loading of 60° / sec did not show the level of significance. In comparison between after application of Y-shaped taping and after application of I-shaped taping, the extensor muscle strength of the lumbar at loading of 60° /sec showed the level of significance (p<.05). 6. In comparison between after application of Y-shaped taping and after application of I-shaped taping, the flexor muscle strength of the lumbar at loading of 90° / sec did not show the level of significance. In comparison between after application of Y-shaped taping and after application of I-shaped taping, the extensor muscle strength of the lumbar at loading of 90° / sec did not showed the level of significance (p<.05).

        키네시오 테이핑이 벤치 프레스 10-RM의 반복횟수와 근전도의 iEMG와 MPF 반응에 미치는 영향

        [INTRODUCTION] The purpose was to compare the repetition frequency, EMG responses of iEMG and MPF according to Kinesio taping during bench press 10-RM, and to analyse the effects of Kinesio taping. [METHODS] The subjects were consisted of 14 college men, and bench press 10-RM was measured. The subjects participated Non-taping 10-RM without Kinesio taping, Taping 10-RM, and Taping Max-RM with Kinesio taping. The Kinesio taping was applied by the methods of Kho(2002), and Uh(2001). Paired t-test and repeated ANOVA were applied. [RESULTS] The repetition frequency of Taping Max-RM was increased about 25% than that of Non-taping 10-RM(p<.01). There were significant differences among iEMG of Non-taping 10-RM, Taping 10-RM, and Taping Max-RM on pectorialis major(p<.05). However there were no significant differences among iEMG of Non-taping 10-RM, Taping 10-RM, and Taping Max-RM on triceps brachii. In case of MPF, there were no significant difference among Non-taping 10-RM, Taping 10-RM, and Taping Max-RM on left pectorialis major and both left and right triceps brachii. [CONCLUSION] The repetition frequency was increased about 25% in case of Kinesio taping. iEMG of Taping 10-RM on left pectorialis major was lower than that of Non-taping 10-RM even with the same physics work. There were no significant differences among iEMG of Non-taping 10-RM and Taping Max-RM even repetition frequency was increased, in case of taping. However, MPF related with muscle fatigue factor was shown even though no significant difference depend on the using of taping except right pectorialis major. The responses of MPF were different from iEMG was depended on taping. Kinesio taping usage increased repetition frequency, reduced iEMG in some muscles during 10-RM on some muscles. There was no significant difference in iEMG even with the difference of maximum repetition. However, MPF wasn't effected by the usage of taping. [서론] 본 연구의 목적은 벤치 프레스 운동 10-RM을 수행하는 동안 키네시오 테이핑을 적용 여부에 따른 반복횟수와 근활성도 변인인 iEMG 및 근피로 변인인 MPF의 반응을 비교하여 키네시오 테이핑 적용의 효과를 구명하는데 있다. [방법] 본 연구에서는 남자 대학생 14명을 연구대상으로 하여, 벤치 프레스 10-RM 중량을 산출하고 키네시오 테이핑 적용하지 않은 상태로 Non-taping 10-RM 운동을 수행하거나, 키네시오 테이핑을 적용한 상태에서 벤치 프레스 동작을 수행(Taping 10-RM, Taping Max-RM)하며 수행횟수와 근전도 반응을 측정하였다. 키네시오 테이핑은 테이프의 길이를 30% 정도 신전시켜 적용하였다. 벤치 프레스 운동 중 큰가슴근과 세갈레근의 iEMG와 MPF를 측정하고 분석하고 종속 t-test와 반복측정 분산분석을 실시하였다. [결과] Non-taping 10-RM의 반복 횟수보다 Taping Max-RM이 약 25% 증가하였으며 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<.01). 큰가슴근의 Non-taping 10-RM, Taping 10-RM 및 Taping Max-RM의 iEMG 간에는 유의한 차이가 나타났으나(p<.05), 세갈레근의 Non-taping 10-RM, Taping 10-RM 및 Taping Max-RM의 iEMG 간에는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. MPF의 경우, 우측 큰가슴근을 제외한, 좌측 큰가슴근과 좌우 세갈레근에서 Non-taping 10-RM, Taping 10-RM 및 Taping Max-RM의 MPF 간에는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. [결론] 키네시오 테이핑을 적용한 후에 반복휫수가 약 25% 증가하였으며, 근활성도 요소인 iEMG의 경우 동일한 물리량의 운동을 수행하였지만 좌측 큰가슴근에서 Taping 10-RM의 iEMG가 적게 나타났다. 테이핑 적용 후에 더 많은 반복횟수를 수행하였지만 Non-taping 10-RM과 Taping Max-RM의 iEMG는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않다. 근피로도 요소인 MPF의 경우 우측 큰가슴근을 제외한 모든 근육에서 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않아 iEMG와는 다른 반응으로 나타났다. 즉, 키네시오 테이핑 적용은 벤치 프레스의 반복횟수를 증가시키고, 동일한 10-RM 운동 동안에 일부 근육의 iEMG를 다소 감소시키며, 더 많은 반복 횟수를 수행하더라도 iEMG는 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 그러나 MPF는 테이핑 적용이 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

        남여운동선수의 키네시오테이핑 적용이 슬관절 신전 및 굴곡 각도별 등척성 근력변화에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of kinesio taping application using Medx to measure and analyze the influence of kinesio taping on isometric muscle strength of knee joint angles when kinesio taping is applied to the quadriceps and hamstring muscles during extension, flexion of the articulatio genus muscles. By applying kinesio taping to twenty athlete (10 men, 10 women), we measured muscle strength of the articulatio genus muscles in each angles(6°,24°,42°,60°,78°,96°) before and after the application of kinesio taping, The results are as follows: For men, research has shown that extensor muscular strength of articulatio genus at each extension angle has increased in all angles after applying the kinesio taping. Also, there was a statistical increase in muscular strength except the 42" angle. For women, there was a numerical increase in muscular strength but no statistical difference(p<.05). For men, in flextion muscular strength of the articulatio genus at each flexion angle, application of kinesio taping led to increase in muscular strength. No statistical difference in all angles. For women, muscular strength has improved after applying kinesio tapinz but no statistical increase. As result. this research demonstrated that applying the kinesio taping has positive effects on the maximum strengths of the extensor and flection muscles of the articulatio genus according to knee joint angles.

        척추기립근과 요방형근 키네시오 테이핑 적용 시간이 근활성도 및 요부등척성 근력에 미치는 효과

        This study was performed to investigate the effects of the time period of Kinesio taping on abdominal muscle activation when subjects who are patients with lumbar herniated intervertebral disc performed a plank test and the effects of lumbar isometric strength at different degrees. Subjects were office workers of D company and they were divided randomly into a taping group (n=15) and a non-taping group (n=15). For the taping group, the lumbar quadrate muscle and spinal erector muscle were taped; and a plank test was undertaken immediately before taping, immediately after taping, 12 hours after taping, and 24 hours after taping and measurements were taken of lumbar isometric strength and activation of upper rectus abdominis muscle, lower rectus abdominis muscle, internal abdominal oblique muscle, and external abdominal oblique muscle. The results of this study showed statistically significant strengthening of abdominal muscle activation with the right side of internal abdominal oblique muscle and both sides of external abdominal oblique muscle with the taping group. Also, it was shown that there was a statistically significant improvement in lumbar isometric strength at 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 degrees for the taping group 12 hours after taping and 24 hours after taping. In conclusion, Kinesio taping may be a useful supportive method for muscle strength maintenance. 본 연구는 키네시오 테이핑 적용 시간에 따른 추간판 탈출증 환자들의 플랭크 테스트(Plank test)시 복부 근육의 근활성과 각도에 따른 등척성 요부 신근력에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 실시하였다. 실험에 자발적으로 참여한 D기업 사무직 직원 30명을 대상으로 테이핑 적용 집단 15명(TG), 테이핑 미적용 집단 15명(NTG)으로 무선 배정하였다. 실험은 척추기립근과 요방형근 테이핑 적용 전, 적용 직후, 12시간 후, 24시간 후에 Plank test시 상부 복직근, 하부 복직근, 내복사근, 외복사근의 근활성도와 요부 등척성 신전근력을 측정하였다. 근활성은 테이핑 집단이 우측 내복사근, 좌 ․ 우측 외복사근에서 유의하게 높게 나타났으며, 요부 각도 별 등척성 요부 신근력은 10도, 20도, 30도, 40도, 50도, 60도에서 12시간, 24시간에서 테이핑 집단이 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과로 미루어 볼 때 척추기립근과 요방형근 키네시오 테이핑 처치는 요통환자의 근활성 및 요부 신전근력 회복에 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

        McConnell 테이핑과 Kinesio 테이핑이 무릎넙다리통증증후군 환자의 계단 올라가기 시 통증과 다리관절 각도에 미치는 영향

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of McConnell taping and Kinesio taping on pain and lower extremity joint angles when patients with patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) ascend stairs. Methods: Fifty young adults who were experiencing anterior knee pain due to PFPS were selected as participants. Then, 25 patients were randomly assigned to the McConnell taping group and 25 to the Kinesio taping group. Pain and lower extremity joint angle were measured while ascending stairs before and after the intervention. A paired t-test was performed to evaluate the amount of change in the parameter values after the intervention within the groups, and an independent t-test was used to compare the results of the groups. Results: In the within-group comparisons, a statistically significant difference was found in both groups between the anterior knee pain scale scores recorded before and after the intervention (p < 0.05). A statistically significant difference was also found between the groups (p < 0.05). Comparison of the lower extremity joint angles at initial contact, loading response, terminal stance, and pre-swing within the groups showed that there were statistically significant differences in the hip, knee flexion, abduction, lateral rotation, and dorsiflexion angles in both the McConnell and Kinesio taping groups (p < 0.05). There was also a statistically significant difference in all angles between the groups during the following events (p < 0.05): (1) at initial contact, (2) at loading response (except hip flexion angle), (3) at terminal stance (except hip flexion and lateral rotation angles), and (4) at pre-swing(except hip, knee abduction, and inversion angles). Conclusion: McConnell taping and Kinesio taping both effectively improved the occurrence of knee pain and the lower extremity joint angles during stair ascent in patients with PFPS. However, McConnell taping had a significant impact on pain reduction and lower extremity joint angles compared to Kinesio taping.

        키네시오 테이핑이 플라이오메트릭 서전트 점프 운동 중 수행횟수, 심박수, 운동자각도 및 근전도 반응에 미치는 영향

        PURPOSE] The purposes of this study were to compare the repetition, heart rate, RPE, and EMG responses on Kinesio taping during plyometric Sargent jumping, and to analyze the effects of Kinesio taping. [METHODS] Subjects were consisted of 11 college men. Metabolic and EMG responses were measured during the non-taping 30 sec jumping or taping 30 sec jumping tasks. EMG responses were also measured during the non-taping 23 times jumping or taping 23 times jumping task. EMG responses were measured on four 4 leg muscles. Kinesio taping was performed according to the Kho(2002), and Uh(2001)'s methods. Pairedt-test was used for comparisons between taping and non-taping conditions for each dependent variable. [RESULTS] There were slight yet insignificant differences in repetition (0.1 fold) and heart rate (0.8 bpm)between non-taping and taping 30 sec jumping. RPE was 1.7 lower in the taping 30 sec jumping compared to the non-taping 30 sec jumping(p<.01). No differences were observed in RMS data between non-taping vs taping 30 sec jumping, or non-taping vs taping 23 times jumping were in significant on all of 4 muscles. The first and the last two jump's MedPF values were insignificantly different between non-taping vs taping 30 sec jumping or non-taping vs taping 23 times jumping. [CONCLUSIONS] Our data indicate that effects of Kinesio taping on muscle activity and fatigue are minimal during plyometric Sargent jumping trial. The discrepancy of these results from the previous studies might be due to a different contractile mode [목적] 본 연구의 목적은 플라이오메트릭 서전트 점프를 동일 시간과 동일 횟수 동안 수행하는 동안 키네시오 테이핑을 적용 여부에 따른 운동수행능력인 반복횟수, HR, RPE, 근활성도와 근피로 변인의 반응을 비교하여 키네시오 테이핑 적용의 효과를 구명하는데 있다. [방법] 본 연구에서는 남자 대학생 11명을 연구대상으로 하여, 키네시오 테이핑 적용 여부에 따라 플라이오메트릭 non-taping 30 sec jumping과 taping 30 sec jumping 중 수행횟수, 심박수, 운동자각도 및 근전도 반응 측정하였다. 연구대상의 최소 수행 횟수인 non-taping 23 times jumping과 taping 23 times jumping 중 근전도 반응을 분석하였다. 근전도 반응은 하지 4개 근육에서 측정하였으며, 테이핑은 고도일(2002)과 어강(2001)의 방법을 사용하였고, paired t-test를 실시하였다. [결과] Non-taping과 taping 30 sec jumping의 반복횟수는 0.1회, 심박수는 0.8회의 미미한 차이만 나타났으며 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 운동자각도는 taping이 1.7 낮게 나타났으며, 유의한 차이가 나타났다(p<.01). Non-taping과 taping 30 sec jumping 운동 중, 그리고 non-taping과 taping 23 times jumping 운동 중 RMS는 4개 근육에서 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. Non-taping과 taping 30 sec jumping 운동 중, 그리고 ton-taping과 taping 23 times sec jumping 운동 중 MedPF 편차는 4개 근육에서 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다. [결론] 플라이오메트릭 30초 서전트 점프 운동 중 키네시오 테이핑을 적용한 결과, 반복횟수와 심박수는 거의 유시하였으나, 운동자각도는 1.7 낮게 나타나 부분적인 효과가 나타났다. 그러나 대부분의 근육에서 근활성도와 근피로도는 30초 점프와 23회 점프에서 모두 미미한 차이만 나타나 테이핑의 효과가 거의 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 선행연구와 다른 근육의 수축 양식의 차이에 의한 것일 수 있다.

        Effect of Joint Mobilization and Kinesio Taping on Pain, Range of Motion, and Knee Function in Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis

        Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the effects of joint mobilization and kinesio taping on pain, range of motion and knee function in patients with knee osteoarthritis. Methods: Thirty subjects were selected and divided into three groups: group 1 was treated with joint mobilization, group 2 was treated with kinesio taping and group 3 was treated with joint mobilization and kinesio taping. Joint mobilization was performed for 20 minutes three times a week for a period of 4 weeks, after which tape was applied for the same period of time and it was not exceeded 24 hours. Pain, range of motion and knee function were then assessed to identify the effectiveness. A visual analog scale (VAS) was used for pain assessment, while active and passive range of motion (AROM, PROM) were assessed using smart phones application, and knee injury and osteoarthritis outcome score (KOOS) was used to assess knee function. Results: After intervention, the joint mobilization group and kinesio taping group showed significant improvements in VAS, AROM, PROM and KOOS (Symptom, Pain, ADL, QOL), whereas no significant difference was found in sport/recreation. The joint mobilization with kinesio taping group showed significant improvements in all items, and a significant increase was found in AROM and PROM compared to the other two groups. Conclusion: We found that joint mobilization and kinesio taping effectively improved pain, range of motion and knee function in patients with knee osteoarthritis, but that application of joint mobilization with kinesio taping was most effective.

        만성 뇌졸중 환자의 환측 중둔근 테이핑이 균형과 보행에 미치는 영향

        목적 : 키네시오 테이핑은 다양한 근골격계 및 신경근 손상치료에 사용되는 치료 방법이지만, 신경계 환자에서 중둔근의 키네시오 테이핑이 미치는 영향에 대한 효과는 제한적이었다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 중둔근에 키네시오 테이핑의 적용이 균형과 보행에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 방법 : 24명의 만성 뇌졸중 환자가 본 연구에 참여하였다. Gluteus mdedius taping group과 shame gluteus medius taping group을 무작위로 나누었다. Kinesio 테이프는 gluteus mdedius 근육에 적용하였다. 테이핑 전과 후에 모든 피험자에서 힘판과 TUG (time up & go test)를 사용하여 균형 능력을 측정하고 보행 기능을 10 미터 보행 테스트를 사용하여 평가하였다. 결과 : 중둔근 테이핑 전후 균형과 보행에 유의 한 차이가 있었고(p <.05). 그룹간에 정적 균형에서 유의 한 차이를 보였다 (p <.05). 결론 : 뇌졸중 환자의 재활 프로그램에서 키네시오 테이핑이 도움이 될 수 있으며 둔부 근육에 적용하면 균형 능력을 향상시키는 데 특히 유용하다. Purpose : Kinesio taping is a therapeutic method used in the treatment of various musculoskeletal and neuromuscular deficitslimited evidence the effects of gluteus medius kinesio taping in neurologic patients. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effects of gluteus medius kinesio taping on balance ability and gait function in after a stroke. Methods : Twenty-four post-stroke patients were included in this study. Gluteus medius taping group and sham gluteus medius taping group were divided into intervention. Kinesio tape was applied the gluteus medius muscles. In all the subjects, the balance ability was measured using the force plate and timed up & go test (TUG) and gait function was assessed using the 10-meter walking test at time points of both before and after the taping. Result : There was a significant difference in balance ability and gait function between the two groups before and after gluteus medius taping group (p<.05). The gluteus medius taping group showed a significant difference between the groups (p<.05). Conclusion : The results suggest that taping may be a useful method during rehabilitation programs for stroke patients. Application of Kinesio taping to the gluteus medius muscles was found to be useful especially in improving balance ability.

        The Effects of Kinesiotaping Applied onto Erector Spinae and Sacroiliac Joint on Lumbar Flexibility

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of kinesio taping on lumbar flexibility onto erector spinae and sacroiliac joint. Methods: Sixty healthy adults (male=36, female=24) participated in this study and were randomly assigned to the experimental group that received kinesio taping onto erector spinae and sacroiliac joint (n=30) or the control group that received X-letter placebo taping onto them (n=30). Lumbar flexibility (flexion, extension, lateral flexion, and rotation) was measured using back range-of-motion instrument (BROM) II before and after taping. Results: In the change of lumbar flexibility after taping in the experimental group, there were statistically significant difference in flexion, lateral flexion, and rotation (p<0.05), but there was no significant difference in extension. There was no significant difference in the change of lumbar flexibility after taping in the control group. Conclusion: In conclusion, kinesio taping onto erector spinae and sacroiliac joint improved the joint function. Kinesio taping may reduce the muscle tension and facilitate the circulation of tissue fluid. In light of these results, it is thought that the application of kinesio taping had influence on an increase in lumbar flexibility. Therefore, kinesio taping will be able to be used as the method of the prevention of pain and the treatment in the lumbar region.
