To test the research hypothesis, panel data from the 2022 Korea Welfare Panel Survey was utilized, analyzing data for 1,229 elderly individuals from the Honam region out of a total of 13,144 respondents. The analysis was conducted using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS statistical methods. The results showed that the use of elderly welfare services had a positive (+) effect on health satisfaction and a positive (+) effect on social relationships. Furthermore, social relationships were found to have a partial mediating effect on health satisfaction. This confirms that the use of welfare services improves the health satisfaction of the elderly, highlighting the importance of social relationships in this process. Therefore, it is essential to develop customized services and programs that can enhance the health satisfaction of the elderly. Additionally, education programs for welfare program operators should emphasize the correlation between social relationships and health satisfaction. Interdisciplinary research collaborations among scholars from various fields are also needed to improve the health and quality of life of the elderly. A Study on Patterns of Active Ageing and Predictive Factors:Focusing on Elderly Single HouseholdsEunjin Lee Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the heterogeneous characteristics of elderly single households, which has been rapidly increasing since entering an ageing society, from multiple dimensions, and to derive social welfare implications by identifying predictive factors. Data were collected by conducting a questionnaire survey on elderly single households using welfare facilities for the elderly over the age of 60, wherein verification using Latent Profiles Analysis and Multinomial Logistic Regression. As for active ageing in the elderly single household, the following four types are confirmed: (i) ‘active ageing 1’ and ‘active geing 2’ as positive dimensions; and (ii) ‘health problem’ and ‘safety perception problem’ as the most vulnerable health and safety perception. This study accordingly confirmed predictive factors for each type. Based on the research results, practical and policy interventions in elderly welfare that can promote active ageing of elderly single households and the necessity of follow-up research were discussed. The LMX of the Facility for the Elderly Welfare Housing andthe Employee Mediating Role of OCB in Relation to ISQBGeumjoo Jo Abstract: This study examines the effect of the facility LMX on the ISQB for workers working in the elderly welfare housing, and verified the mediating effect of OCB in the facility LMX and the ISBQ relationship. This study was analyzed targeting 220 workers working in senior welfare housing nationwide. To verify descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis was applied, followed by Sobel test. As a result of this study, the higher the level of LMX, the higher the level of OCB and the higher the ISBQ. In addition, it was found that OCB had a partial mediating effect in the effect of LMX of the elderly welfare housing on the quality of ISBQ. It was suggested that a different approach is required for the facility manager according to the LMX of the elderly welfare housing, and OCB of the workers, the senior welfare housing facility it provided valid implications for human resource management. In future research, it is suggested that research on more diverse types of social welfare facility workers be conducted. The Effects of Sex Education Program for the Elderly Womenon Sex Perception and Life SatisfactionJunghee Jang, Yongsook Kim, & Sungpil Yook Abstract: The purpose of this study is to conduct a sex education program for the elderly women over 60 years of age, and verify the effect on the sex perception and the life satisfaction. The number of elderly women in the elderly welfare center in K province who voluntarily participated in this study was a total of 37 people, including 17 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group. Pre- and post-tests were conducted on the experimental group and the control group, and the effect on the sex perception and the life satisfaction was measured. Excluding data with many missing values ​​in the questionnaire response, data from 16 experimental group and 16 control group were finally analyzed. The main result of this study was that the experimental group showed higher sex perception score and life satisfaction score than the control group. This result indicates that sex education programs for the elderly women have a positive effect on improving the sex perception and the life satisfaction. The research result suggests the necessity and the direction of senior sex education programs. Comparison of Differences in Quality of Life the Senior Citizen Participating in Health Promotion Programsat Leisure Welfare FacilitiesSunha Jo Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference in the quality of life of the Senior citizen participating in health promotion programs in leisure welfare facilities. After conducting a questionnaire survey on 310 senior in G metropolitan city, frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, one-way analysis of variance, and post-test were applied using SPSS 27.0. As demographic characteristics of the senior citizen participating in health promotion, differences in physical health, psychological and social health, and living environment, which are sub-factors of quality of life according to gender, age, religion, educated, cohabitation, and income, are survey. In addition to suggesting ways to improve the quality of life of the senior, further studies will suggest research directions that supplement the subjects health promotion experience, facility characteristics, and qualitative research that can derive detailed needs of the senior citizen. 노인학대 예방교육 강화방안

Strengthening Education for the Prevention of Elder AbuseHunyun Kim Abstract: In Korea, an aging society, the number of elder abuse cases is steadily increasing. This paper attempted to analyze the actual status of elder abuse and identify the current status of education to prevent elder abuse and seek ways to strengthen education to prevent elder abuse and operate it more efficiently. Elder abuse accounts for the majority of cases mainly by spouses or children at home. In addition, problems to pay attention to self-abuse cases are emerging. Despite these problems, education to prevent elder abuse is being conducted formally around those obligated to report to the institution. In order to strengthen education on the prevention of elder abuse, publicity through broadcasting stipulated by the Welfare Of Senior Citizens Act should be strengthened, and human rights education for the elderly as well as those obligated to report should be strengthened. The issue of elder abuse is a task that our society must solve ahead of a super-aged society, and research on various policy aspects should continue, starting with this study. 노인맞춤돌봄서비스 현장에서 ICT 활용과 사회복지 종사자의 전문가 윤리 기반 실천경험 연구

The use of science and technology and ethical considerations have recently been applied to the field of social welfare, and professional ethics for social welfare workers is emerging as a major task. In order to actively reflect these changes of the times, the ‘Korean Code of Ethics for Social Workers’ was revised in 2023 to strengthen the scientific and technological ethical standards of social workers. This study explored the meaning and limitations of social worker professional ethics for dedicated social workers who provide ICT services, focusing on customized care services for the elderly. In addition, directions for the use of science and technology and the professional development of social workers were proposed. To conduct this research In-depth interviews were conducted with five social workers working in customized care services for the elderly and analyzed using a qualitative case study method. As a result of the study, it was analyzed that 1) “Recognition of the need for training related to the use of ICT care devices and insufficient ethics education system”, 2) “Ethical issues that prevent workers from developing expertise and expanding services related to the use of ICT”, 3) “Ethical issues due to the structure of ICT safety support services that require sacrifices of workers”, 4) “Ethical issues due to personal information protection infringement and absence of alternative services that occur when responding to safety support”, 5) “Providing ICT devices with low technological acceptability to clients It was analyzed as an “ethical problem that arises from its use.”Based on the results of this study, policy and practical approaches and alternatives were presented to improve social welfare expertise related to the use of science and technology.
