        온라인 HMR소비자의 정보채택 결정요인에 관한 연구 :정보채택모델(Information Adoption Model)의 적용

        This study aims to identify the determinants of HMR consumers' information adoption amid the recent proliferation of untact consumption culture, and to increase the growth and level of HMR in the fast-growing HMR market. This study analyzed from the perspective of the Information Adoption Model (IAM), and the analysis showed that the relevance and neutrality of subfactors of HMR information quality had a significant impact on information usability, but brevity did not. It has been shown that veracity, expertise, and reputation, subfactors of the information source's public confidence, have had a significant impact on information utility, and information utility has had a significant impact on information adoption. This means that HMR consumers adopt information from the information quality of the central path relevance and neutrality, and from the sources of truth, expertise, and reputation of the surrounding path, if they perceive it as useful. The results of this study will be a source of extensive marketing activities by restaurants and food companies that recognize the importance of online HMR consumers' information processing processes, and will contribute to the rapid growth of the HMR market and the level of HMR in Korea.

        유튜브 관광정보 채택에 미치는 선행요인 분석: 정보채택모델(Information Adoption Model)의 확장 응용

        Even though the increasing inferentiality of YouTube as an effective marketing communication channel, there is a lack of empirical research about tourism information in YouTube contents. This study aims to explore the influence of tourism information in YouTube contents on the users’ information adoption and their future behavioral intention. By applying the information adoption model(IAM) developed by Sussman and Siegal (2003), a study model was developed to examine the relationship among the information quality and source credibility of tourism information in YouTube, users’ perceived usefulness of information, their intention to adopt the information and their behavioral intention for future tourism activities. Study findings indicated that relevancy, sufficiency and vividness of the information quality factor, and expertness and familiarity of the source credibility factor influenced on the intention to adopt YouTube tourism information and behavioral intention for future tourism activities and the relationship was mediated by perceived usefulness of the information. The findings also holds several theoretical and managerial implications.

        온라인 HMR소비자의 식생활환경과 정보수용과정에 관한 연구 : 정보채택모델(Information Adoption Model)의 적용

        신종 감염병인 COVID-19가 2020년 전 세계를 강타하면서 기존의 일상을 완전히 뒤집고 사회적 거리 두기로 형성된 언택트 시대에 소비자 지형도 급변화가 일어나고 있다. 이에 본 연구는.정보채택모델을 통하여 HMR 구매를 위한 온라인 소비자들의 정보수용과정을 체계적으로 파악하고, COVID-19 이후의 식생활환경과 확장되고 있는 온라인 소비시장의 중요성 인식을 바탕으로 연구를 진행하였다. 실증연구를 수행하기 위해 본 연구에서는 온라인 HMR 구매자를 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 최종 435본의 표본을 바탕으로 연구모형의 신뢰성, 타당성, 적합도를 검토하여 총 8개의 가설을 검증하였다. 이에 따른 본 연구의 검증결과는 다음과 같다.첫째, HMR 정보품질의 하위요인인 관련성과 중립성은 정보유용성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, HMR 정보원의 공신력의 하위요인 중 진실성과 전문성은 정보유용성에 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 정보유용성은 정보채택에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 정보채택은 구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 식품·외식기업에서는 소비자가 수용하는 정보의 가치와 태도, 행동 간의 관계를 이해하고, HMR이 실제 소비행동으로 이끌어 낼 수 있도록 소비자의 정보수용과정을 높이는 방안을 모색할 필요할 것으로 사료된다. As COVID-19, the new infectious disease, hit the world in 2020, completely reversing the existing daily life, and rapid changes in consumer topography are taking place in the New-normal and Un-tact era, which is formed by social distancing. This study systematically identifies the information acceptance process of online HMR (Home Meal Replacement) consumers using an information adoption model, and conducts the study based on the recognition of the post COVID-19 dietary environment and the expanding online consumer market. First, relevance and neutrality, which are sub-factors of HMR information quality, seem to have a positive effect on information utility. Second, truthfulness and expertise among the sub-factors of the public confidence in HMR information sources seem to have a positive effect on information usefulness. Third, information usefulness seems to have a significant impact on information adoption. This has also been demonstrated in a number of prior studies on information adoption models that consumers will adopt information on HMR if they perceive it as useful. Fourth, information adoption has a significant impact on purchasing intentions. Finally, food and restaurant companies are believed to need to understand how the values of information that consumers accept correlate with attitudes and behaviors and to accelerate the process of consumer information acceptance so that HMR can lead to actual consumption behaviors.

        유튜브에서의 정보 수용: 유튜브 장르의 영향을 중심으로

        본 논문에서는 Sussman과 Siegal이 제안한 정보수용모델을 기반으로 유튜브 품질과 유튜버에 대한 신뢰성이 정보의 유용성과 정보수용태도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 설명하는 모델을 제안한다. 아울러 본 연구에서는 유튜브 장르가 이 모형 내에서 어떤 조절효과를 갖는지도 살펴본다. 실증분석 결과 전체 장르를 대상으로 조사했을 때 유튜브 품질과 유튜버에 대한 신뢰성 모두가 정보의 유용성에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 이는 다시 정보수용 태도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 하지만 정보장르를 대상으로 조사했을 때에는 유튜브 품질만 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 유희장르에서는 유튜버에 대한 신뢰성만 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 유튜브를 정보 제공 도구로 활용하는 비즈니스 전략 수립에대한 다양한 시사점들을 제공하고 있다. In this paper, we propose a model that explains how the quality of YouTube clip and the credibility in YouTuber affect the usefulness of information and attitude of adapting information, based on ‘Information Adoption Model’ proposed by Sussman and Siegal. Additionally, we investigate the moderating role of YouTube genre in this model. Empirical analysis has shown that both the quality of YouTube clip and the credibility in YouTuber in the entire genre have a significant impact on the usefulness of information, which in turn significantly affects the attitude of information adoption. But only the quality in YouTube clip is found to have a significant impact in the ‘information-oriented’ genre, whereas, in the ‘entertainment-oriented’ genre, only the credibility in YouTuber is found to have a significant impact. The findings of our study provide various implications for building a business strategy for using YouTube as an information providing tool.

        ISRI - Information Systems Research Constructs and Indicators: A Web Tool for Information Systems Researchers

        This paper presents the ISRI (Information Systems Research Indicators) Web tool, publicly and freely available at isri.sciencesphere.org. Targeting Information Systems (IS) researchers, it compiles and organizes IS adoption and use theories/models, constructs, and indicators (measuring variables) available in the scientific literature. Aiming to support the IS theory development process, the purpose of ISRI is to gather and systematize information on research indicators to help researchers and practitioners' work. The tool currently covers eleven theories/models: DeLone and McLean's IS Success Model (D&M ISS); Diffusion of Innovations Theory (DOI); Motivational Model (MM); Social Cognitive Theory (SCT); Task-Technology Fit (TTF); Technology Acceptance Model (TAM); Technology-Organization-Environment Framework (TOE); Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB); Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior (DTPB); Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA); and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). It also includes currently over 400 constructs, nearly 2,500 indicators, and about 60 application contexts related to the models. For the creation of the tool's database, nearly 580 references were used.

        스마트폰 관광정보 특성이 지각된 가치와 사용의도에 미치는 영향

        Recently, information communication technology has changed lifestyle and behavior of tourist enormously. Currently, every smartphone user can get access to the right information they need almost anytime, anywhere. Previous studies such as the Technology Acceptance Model have limitations because they do not take into consideration the dual role of the smartphone user – an adopter of new technology as well as a consumer of advanced tourism information, and related factors accompanied by the ever-changing new technologies. The purpose of this paper is to understand how a potential tourist perceives the value of smartphone tourism information and how this value influences his or her intention to use. We examined the structural relationships among characteristics of smartphone tourism information, perceived value, and consumers' intention to use by using structural equation modeling. The results of SEM analysis indicated that there were significant effect of characteristics of smartphone tourism information on perceived value and intention to use. The theoretical and practical implications of the suggested model are presented in conclusion.

      • Collaborative accountability for sustainable public health: A Korean perspective on the effective use of ICT-based health risk communication

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The sustainability of public health practices requires collaboration between the government and its citizens. On the government's side, social media can provide a conduit for communicating health risk information in an effective and timely fashion, while also engaging citizens in informed decision-making. On the citizen's side, information communication technology (ICT)-based practices cannot function unless citizens recognize and act on their responsibility to actively engage with government social media platforms. Despite an increasing interest in understanding the adoption of ICT practices and e-government services for health risk communication, there remains a crucial need for a comprehensive framework to explain which factors determine citizen use of digital government resources. The purpose of this study is to investigate how to increase government accountability for motivating citizens to engage in ICT-based health risk communication, thereby attaining sustainable public health practices through collaborative governance.</P> <P>By integrating trust and health risk information into the e-government adoption model (GAM), this research examines factors that influence citizens' likelihood of using government social media resources. Survey data from 700 Korean citizens were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results indicated that individuals with higher social media competency are more likely to (a) seek risk information through social media and (b) perceive the government's social media sites as easy to use. Consistent with the GAM, intentions to use the government's social media sites for information and interactions appear to increase as citizens perceive more value in using them regarding information quality, ease of use, functional benefit, and security. Furthermore, perceived trust in the government's social media resources appears to function as a mediator of this process. Initial trust in the government is an important determinant of perceptions of its digital resources. Citizens who trust the government tend to evaluate new initiatives positively and are more likely to accept and make use of them.</P> <P>The results of this study can inform policy design and implementation by elucidating the mechanisms that determine citizens' adoption and usage of digital government services. Theoretically, this work expands the GAM to include health risk communication and adds empirical evidence to the small yet growing body of knowledge of e-government initiatives. These findings also highlight the importance of public trust in the government, as this encourages citizens to seek health risk information and assistance from the government. Overall, the data and model generated in this investigation represent an important step toward the successful and sustainable modernization of public services.</P>

      • The Effect of News Recommendation Mechanisms by Editors and Audiences on News Audience Reactions in Online Portals

        Online portals had recently started to provide news contents to the public at their own news section in portal’s initial page. The news contents had been produced by the media, and it had been collected, selected, edited and sometimes distorted by the news recommendation mechanisms of online portals. This study had focused on such trends as the deployment of news contents provision by portals, the empowerment of the portals in news contents delivery process, and the raising issues about the possible invasion to the public responsibility of media by portals. But the prior studies had not directly conduct this issue. They merely introduces the trends, the possible side effects and the graphical design of news section in portals. To escape from the side effects of this movements, this study had challenge to design the news recommendation mechanisms for providing more valuable news contents to the audiences than the incumbent time-priority news exposure mechanism. Prior studies had been ambiguously define the news values and had construct the news values by using the news criteria by editors in media. We tried to summarise and classify each element in the perspectives of both editors and audiences, who are the essential judgers of the news values, and conceptualized the news values as ‘the news which could reflect the world event sufficiently and which could response the needs of audiences for perform their own tasks’ by using the concept of representativeness in news value in the representative information heuristic processing model. Following this concept, The representative news in editors’ perspective had been operationalized as the major news which had many related news and the other in audiences’ perspective had been operationalized as the news which had much hit and reference score made by the peer audiences. And then we adopt the knowledge adoption model to explain the effect of these news recommendation mechanisms on the perceived overall news quality, trust on portal, perceived usefulness of overall news, satisfaction with portal’s news recommendation service and then on the loyalty, continuance usage intention and positive word-of-mouth intention on portal. We conducted a scenario survey in order to validate our research model. We collected the valid data from 357 voluntary participants who had the experience using the portal service, but had no experience uising the news recommendation mechanisms in portals. The subject had been allocated in three groups and had exposed such three different types of news recommendation mechanisms as 1) the time-priority news exposure mechanism (control group), 2) the reference-score-based news recommendation mechanism (a single treatment group), and 3) the major-news-priority exposure mechanism sorting by the reference scores made by peer audiences (the mixed treatment group). The data had been analized by the MANOVA and PLS method. MANOVA results indicate that perceived information quality and trust had significant differences by groups, that the difference between group 1 and 3 were significant, but the difference between group 1 and 3 and between group 2 and 3 were not significant. These results indicate that the only reference- score-based news recommendation mechanism could not be enough to provide the more valuable news than the incumbent time-priority news exposure mechanism and that the mixed methodology for news recommendation mechanisms could be beneficial to do that. And we also proceed the structured equation model analysis by using PLS algorithm. The tests of the measurement model confirm that our data set has appropriate discriminant and convergent validity. The results of testing the structural model show that the perceived overall news quality and trust on portal could significantly affect on the perceived usefulness of overall news and satisfaction with portal’s news recommendation service, and then these changes significantly affect on the loyalty, continuance usage intention and positive word-of-mouth intention on portal. Our findings are overall consistent with the previous literature. Contrary to our expectations, the reference-score-based news recommendation mechanism could not significantly affect on the dependent variables. Inducing the post interview to the participants, this result may be due to the facts that news audiences had the various needs for news consumption, the news recommendation results by the reference- score-based news recommendation mechanism had been skewed to the sports and entertainment news categories, and the news recommendation and explanation by the experts could be more benefitial to perform the tasks in some cases of news consumption. This study would contributions to identify the role of IS in media, to delicately conceptualize the news value in the balanced views both from editors and audiences, and to empirically validate the benefits of news recommendation mechanisms of both knowledge inventors and knowledge broker in academy. For practice, the results of this study to make more beneficial news recommendation mechanisms would motivate portals to design news recommendation mechanisms for attracting portal users.

        컨벤션 의제(Agenda) 채택 과정에 대한 연구 -정보채택모델의 적용-

        The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that affect the selection of the agenda, which is the core content of convention events and the mechanism of agenda decision-makers' adoption of the agenda. In the convention industry, the agenda is the most important keyword faced by society. Although it plays a role in determining the success of the convention, related research is lacking. Therefore, in this study, an empirical study model was presented by referring to the decision processing through the personal information processing and the usefulness of the information. In addition, the attitude and impact on the agenda were analyzed by adding social norms and government policy agenda variables, which are social impact variables, in consideration of the convention context. Based on qualitative interviews with convention experts, a survey was conducted and a total of 203 data were collected. As a result, it was found that the association and timeliness of the agenda as a quality factor of the agenda act as a leading factor in the usefulness of the agenda and the necessity of the agenda. On the other hand, agenda necessity and source credibility did not significantly affect the usefulness of the agenda. It was confirmed that social norms and government policy agendas showed different results in attitude and intention. This is expected to be an academically and practically useful barometer by further organizing the theoretical framework of research on the convention agenda selection process, which was conducted without a rationale by using the information adoption model. 본 연구의 목적은 컨벤션 행사의 핵심 콘텐츠인 의제(agenda)선정과 관련하여 그 영향 요인이 무엇이고, 의제 결정자들의 의제 채택 매커니즘을 규명하는데 있다. 컨벤션 산업에서 의제는 사회가 직면하고 있는 가장 중요한 키워드이기 때문에 컨벤션 성공을 좌우하는 가늠자 역할을 하고 있음에도 관련 연구가 매우 부족하다. 따라서 기존 선행연구를 토대로 의제의 특성에 적합한 변수를 도출하고, 개인의 정보처리과정을 설명하는데 널리 사용되어 온 정보채택모델을 차용하여 개인의 정보 처리 과정(논거의 품질․정보 원천의 신뢰성․정보의 필요성)과 정보의 유용성을 통한 의사결정(태도․채택의도) 절차를 참고하여 실증연구 모델을 제시하였다. 또한, 컨벤션 맥락을 고려하여 사회적 영향 변인인 사회적 규범과 정부정책의제 변수를 추가하여 의제에 대한 태도와 채택의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 컨벤션 전문가들의 질적 인터뷰와 선행연구를 바탕으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 203개의 데이터를 수집하였다. 그 결과, 의제의 품질 요소로 의제의 연관성과 시의성이 의제의 유용성에 선행 요인으로 작용함을 밝혀냈으며, 의제의 필요성 역시 의제의 유용성에 영향을 미치며, 이는 의제의 태도, 나아가 채택의도에도 영향이 있음을 확인하였다. 반면에 의제 내용의 정확성과 의제 원천의 신뢰성은 의제의 유용성에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 또한, 사회적 영향 변인인 사회적 규범과 정부정책의제는 의제에 대한 태도와 채택의도에 상이한 결과가 나타났음을 확인하였다. 이는 정보채택모델을 활용함으로써 이론적 근거 없이 진행되었던 컨벤션 의제 선정 절차에 대한 연구의 이론적인 틀을 한층 체계화함으로써 학문적으로나 실무적으로 유용한 바로미터가 될 것으로 기대한다.
