        무행동관성효과- 습관적 구매성향과 극대화성향의 조절효과를 중심으로 -

        Inaction inertia effect refers to the phenomenon wherein people who missed attractive opportunities in the past do not take any action when they are given the opportunity to receive discounts (sale). The main objective of this study was to find out how such inaction inertia effect influenced the expected regret from the action, expected regret from inaction, and purchase intention depending on the two types of consumption purposes―for pleasure and for practical use. As the personal disposition of each consumer differs from one another, it was expected that habitual purchase behavior and maximization behavior would influence the inaction inertia. An experiment was thus conducted by using a scenario to satisfy the objective of this study. Results showed that in the case of consumers whose consumption purpose was for pleasure, those who habitually purchased the same brand showed a higher level of expected regret from the action and expected regret from inaction. In the case of maximization behavior, no differences were found in the expected regret from the action between practical consumption purpose and pleasurable consumption purpose. On the other hand, differences were found in the level of expected regret from inaction, which is the case wherein consumers who missed their first opportunity to receive discounts (sale) did not make any purchase on their second opportunity for discounts (sale). Thus, inaction inertia was shown in accordance with habitual purchase behavior in the case of consumption purpose for pleasure, but it was not clearly shown in the case of consumption for practical use. This is because there is a relatively low level of justification on consumption, in the case of consumption for practical use. On the other hand, it was found that consumers with maximization behavior felt a stronger sense of regret in the case of their expected regret for inaction in consumption for practical use than in consumption for pleasure. Also, with regard to purchase intention, it turned out that only consumers with pleasurable consumption purpose had purchase intentions. Through these study results, it would be necessary to consider the consumption purpose behind the purchase of products or services, with regard to inaction inertia, depending on personal dispositions. In accordance with these study results, several theoretical and practical implications were discussed. 무행동 관성효과는 과거의 매력적인 기회를 놓친 사람들이 이후 할인(세일)기회가 주어져도 그것을 얻기 위한 행동을 하지 않는 현상을 말한다. 본 연구의 기본 목적은 이런 무행동 관성효과가 소비목표에 따라 쾌락적인 소비목표를 가지는 경우와 실용적인 소비목표를 가질 때를 구분하여 예상된 행동후회와 예상된 무행동 후회 및 구매의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 규명하고자 하였다. 이는 소비자의 개인적 성향이다르게 나타나기 때문에 습관적 구매성향과 극대화 성향이 무행동 관성에 영향을 주는 요소가 될 것임을예상하였다. 연구목적 달성을 위하여 시나리오를 사용하여 실험을 진행하였으며 연구결과 쾌락적 소비목표를 가진 소비자의 경우 습관적으로 동일한 브랜드를 구매하는 소비자에서 예상된 행동후회와 예상된 무행동 후회 수준이 더 높았다. 그리고 극대화 성향의 경우 예상된 행동후회에 대해서는 실용적 소비목표와 쾌락적 소비목표에 따른 차이가 발견되지 않았다. 반면 첫 번째 할인(세일)기회를 놓친 후 두 번째 할인(세일)기회에 구매를 하지 않는 후회수준인 예상된 무행동 후회에서는 차이가 나타났다. 따라서 소비목표가쾌락적인 경우에는 습관적 구매성향에 따라 무행동 관성행동이 나타났으나 실용적 소비목표에서는 무행동관성효과가 강하게 나타나지 않았다. 이는 실용적 소비목표의 경우 소비에 대한 정당화가 상대적으로 적기때문이라고 설명된다. 반면 극대화 성향의 소비자의 경우 쾌락적 소비목표에서보다 실용적 소비목표에서예상된 무행동 후회에 더 강한 후회를 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 구매의도와 관련해서는 쾌락적 소비목표를 가진 소비자들에게서만 구매의도가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결국 연구결과를 통해 무행동 관성행동이 나타나는 것은 제품이나 서비스가 어떠한 소비목표를 가지고 소비되는지 개인적인 성향에 따라 고려하는 것이 필요하다. 이러한 결과에 따른 몇 가지 이론적 및 실무적 시사점을 논의하였다.

        This paper presents a modeling method for the vibration analysis of a rotating beam the slenderness ratio of which is relatively small. The smaller the slenderness ratio becomes, the larger the shear and rotary inertia effects become. Such effects become critical for the accurate estimation of the natural frequencies and modeshapes, especially higher frequencies and modes, as the angular speed increases. It is also shown that the effects are important for the accurate estimation of the critical angular speed of the beam.

        암반대수층 내 순간충격시험 시 관찰된 요동반응의 해석

        순간충격시험은 대수층의 수리특성을 빠르고 효과적으로 측정할 수 있는 가장 일반적인 방법이다. 한국원자력연구원(KAERI) 부지 내 YS-4 시추공에서 부지의 수리특성을 알아보기 위하여 순간충격시험을 수행하였고, 그 결과 일반적인 수리반응과 다른 요동수리반응을 관찰하였다. 이 반응결과를 일반적인 해석방법과 시추공내 유체의 관성 영향을 고려한 해석방법으로 해석하여 각각 비교하였다. 그 결과 일반적인 해석 방법으로는 수리전도도가 3.10×10<SUP>-6</SUP>∼3.63×10<SUP>-5</SUP> m/sec로 예측되어 해석결과의 차이가 크게 나타났지만, 유체의 관성효과를 고려하였을 때는 4.85×10<SUP>-6</SUP>∼5.44×10<SUP>-6</SUP> m/sec로 그 해석결과가 거의 비슷하였다. 이는 순간충격시험 시 요동수리반응은 반드시 공내 유체의 관성 효과를 고려하여 해석하여야 함을 보여준다. Slug test is a common characterization method that estimates aquifer hydraulic conductivity rapidly and economically. To characterize the hydraulic property near the borehole YS-4 in the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) site, slug tests were performed, and oscillatory hydraulic responses were observed. We analyzed the observations with the modified Hvorslev and Bouwer&Rice methods considering the casing inertia, and then the results were compared with those from the general Hvorslev and Bouwer&Rice methods. The estimated hydraulic conductivities from the modified methods are ranged from 4.85×10<SUP>-6</SUP> to 5.44×10<SUP>-6</SUP> m/sec, but those from the general ones are ranged from 3.10×10<SUP>-6</SUP> to 3.63×10<SUP>-5</SUP> m/s, which shows that the oscillatory responses should be analyzed with consideration of the flowing water inertia effect.

        서보밸브-미터링 실린더 시스템의 오일 관성효과와 주파수 응답 특성에 관한 연구

        The spool displacement signal of a directional control valve, including the servo valve, can be considered as the standard signal to measure dynamic characteristics. When the spool displacement signal is not available, the velocity signal of a metering cylinder piston can be used. In this study, the frequency response characteristics of the metering cylinder are investigated for the spool displacement input. The transfer functions of the servo valve-metering system are derived taking into consideration the oil inertia effect in the transmission lines. The theoretical results of the transfer functions are verified through computer simulations and experiments. The oil inertia effect in the transmission lines was found to have a very significant effect on the bandwidth frequency of the servo valve-metering cylinder system. In order to more precisely measure the dynamic characteristics of a servo valve, the metering cylinder should be set up to minimize the oil inertia effect by increasing the inner diameters of the transmission lines or shortening their lengths.

        Mass inertia effects on the journal traces in bearing clearance has been investigated for better mass distribution of crankshaft system components as well as better lubrication on the big-end bearing. In this preliminary study, crank pin traces in the clearance of engine bearing are studied by varying the sizes of pin mass, while most previous studies regarding journal locus with dynamic loading system have neglected the inertia effect of crank pin mass according to Jr film theory. Although the inertia effect of pin mass is negligibly small compared to viscous force in Jr film theory, it gives a great amount of influences on the journal traces in full bearing computation. In this work, we have found somehow influential effects on the load carrying capacity and some results are shown.

        방송시장의 붉은 여왕 효과 연구: 종편 환경으로 인한 드라마 시장의 변화 요인을 중심으로

        One of the consequences that the launch of the comprehensive genre channels might have on the drama market can be summed up as the Red Queen effect. Since the comprehensive genre channels and the terrestrial broadcasting companies share the same habitat, they would be better off by adopting the strategies as a selfish competitor in securing A-list independent productions as well as in taking shares in the advertising market. These moves of the two groups of large players would also drive independent productions in general into a dire competitive situation although they belong to a different terrain. Over-competition will be the new reality that everyone is faced with. While other business concerns like profitability take a back seat, players begin to show costly behaviors for survival, as the handicap principle suggests. Drama producers begin to take overly competitive actions. The prices of A-list production factors and the production cost escalate at a mutually competitive rate. The dual structure of the Red Queen effect and Winner’s Curse will be the two most prominent features of the broadcasting market.

      • 등방성 난류에서 침강하는 무거운 입자의 거동

        Particle suspension is frequently observed in many natural flows such as in the atmosphere and the ocean as well as in various engineering flows. Recently, airborne micro or nano-scale particles in atmosphere attract much attention from environmental society since small particle cause serious environmental problems in the industrialized areas. Also, the characteristics of such heavy particles' behavior is quite different from its fluid particles because the inertia force and buoyance force acting on the heavy particles are different than those acting on fluid particles. Therefore, our studies is to investigate the characteristics of the behavior of heavy particles considering the inertia effect with or without gravity effect, but do not consider modification of turbulence by the particles, that is one-way interaction. We carried out direct numerical simulation of isotropic turbulence with particles under the Stokes drag assumption for a spherical particle. These results can be used in the development of a stochastic model for predicting particle's behavior.

        Driving system which is one of the main system of engine consists of dynamic components and have significant influence on engine performance. Recently emission control has been more and more tightened up and engine makers have prepared for countermeasure to deal with it. Increase of firing pressure in cylinder can be considered as one of the effective alternatives for it, but this has strong influence on the strength and vibration of components of driving system. Crankshaft which delivers power to the transmission and vehicle is the most critical component among them and so must be robustly designed to have sufficient durability and stable vibration characteristics. In this study the influence on crankshaft fatigue strength by vibration due to increase of firing pressure in cylinder and inertia load is predicted by analytical method and validated by real measurement.
