        19~64세 한국 성인 남녀의 악력에 따른 체력의 차이

        Purpose: This study is conducted to analyze and examine the differences in physical fitness (health and skill-related) according to grip strength of Korean adult males and females aged 19 to 64 years. Method: The subjects who participated in the study were 4,420 (male: 2,442, and female: 1,592). The following results were obtained by applying an independent t-test to compare a total of six physical factors, including four health-related fitness items and two skill-related fitness items, by calculating the average of participating gender grip in the study. The statistically significant level was set to α=.05. Results: First, men’s health-related physical strength was statistically significantly higher in all categories of muscle strength, muscle endurance, cardiopulmonary endurance, and flexibility in the group with high average grip strength (p<.05). And It was found that men’s skill-related physical strength was statistically significantly higher in all categories of quickness and speed in the group with high average grip (p<.05). Second, women’s health-related physical strength was statistically significantly higher in all categories of muscle strength, muscle endurance, cardiopulmonary endurance, and flexibility in the group with high average grip (p<.05). And It was found that women’s skill-related physical strength was statistically significantly higher in all categories of quickness and speed in the group with high average grip (p<.05). Conclusion: In conclusion, it is found that both health-related and technology-related physical strengths are excellent in the group with an average grip level or higher. However, the review of physical characteristics reveals that age and physical conditions have a significant impact as physical characteristics such as age, height, and weight are relatively superior. In future studies, it will be possible to investigate the meaning of grip strength in more detail by segmenting by age group and identifying the relationship with grip strength.

        Differences in Maximal Muscle Strength by Obesity Degree in Korean Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus - Focusing on the Guidelines of the American College of Sports Medicine -

        Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the health-related physical fitness factors of Korean type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) and to analyze the difference in physical fitness according to the body fat percentage(%BF). Methods: We measured the grip strength(DAKEI, T.K.K.), upper body strength(bench press) 1 repetition maximum(1RM) and lower body strength(leg press) 1RM(Keiser, Fresno), and body fat percentage(%BF) using bio impedance analyzer(Inbody; Biospace) with T2DM. The health-related physical fitness were evaluated by classifying them into the physical fitness category of American College of Sports Medicine(ACSM). In addition, it was verified whether there was a difference in physical strength according to the grade of obesity. Results: Participants were female 31(67.4%); age, 60.35±7.63 years; body mass index(BMI) 25.83±3.64 / ; glycosylated hemoglobin 7.83%; %BF, 31.10±7.69%. Age-adjusted %BF, grade 1(G1: good) was significantly lower than grade 3(G3: poor). In the grip strength test, there was a significant difference between grade 2(G2: fair) and G3. On the other hand, there were women who corresponded to G1, and there was a significant difference between 3 grades. As a results of the post-hoc test, G1 was significantly higher than G2 and G3, and G2 was significantly higher than G3. In the bench press 1RM test, G2 was significantly higher than G3. All females were in included in G3. In case of males, the leg press 1RM test, G1 was significantly higher than G3. Females also showed a significant difference between grades and G1 was significantly higher than G2 and G3. There was a difference in grip strength between grades classified by %BF, and G1 was higher than G3. Upper body strength also showed a significant difference between grades, and G1 was significantly higher than G3. Conclusion: As a result of a health-related physical examination of Korean type 2 diabetes patients, males showed low levels of grip strength and upper body strength, so training to strengthen upper body exercise is recommended. In particular, for females, the ratio of poor %BF and upper body muscle strength is high, so exercise that can lower %BF and exercise that can strengthen upper body muscle strength is recommended. This phenomenon was more pronounced as the %BF increased.

        여자 중학생들의 무용전공이 정신건강, 체격 및 체력에 미치는 영향

        The present study purposed to examine girls’ middle school dance majors’ mental health, physic and physical strength and, for this purpose, sampled 40 healthy students without disease from a girls’ middle school in B Metropolitan City, of whom 20 were dance majors (Korean dance, contemporary dance, ballet) who had had dance activities for more than one year and were practicing dance three times or more a week and over two hours a day and the other 20 were not dance majors. In order to compare the two groups, paired t?test was performed using SPSS/WIN Ver. 12.0. In addition, the effect of daily stress among mental health factors on physical self?efficacy was measured through Pearson’s correlation analysis, and the significant level was ?=.05. Conclusions from the results of this study are as follows. First, in the mental health area, daily stress from social problems was lower in the dance major group than in the dance non?major group. Physical self?efficacy in terms of physical competence and physical attractiveness was higher in the dance major group than in the dance non?major group. Second, physical self?efficacy was higher when daily stress was low. Third, as to physique, sitting height was higher in the dance major group than in the dance non?major group. Fourth, as to physical strength, the dance major group was superior to the dance non?major group in stand long jump, trunk flexion and step test. According to these conclusions, moderate dance activities for middle school students in their growth stage can have positive effects on their mental health and physique?physical strength and ultimately promote their health.

        중년기 성인 남성의 악력 및 신체활동, 식생활평가지수와 대사적 건강상태와의 관련성 연구: 국민건강영양조사(2016-2018년도)자료를 이용하여

        This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between the handgrip strength, physical activity, and Korean healthy eating index and metabolic health status of middle-aged adult men, using data from the Korean National Health and Nutrition Survey (2016-2018). Data from 3,329 middle-aged men, aged 50 to 64 were used for the final analysis. It was found that metabolic health status differed according to age group, and the rate of physical activity and muscle strength exercise practice of middle-aged men was very low. As age increases in middle-aged men, the level of handgrip strength decreases, and the risk of metabolic health increases when the handgrip health fitness standards are not met. The total score of this middle-aged man's healthy eating index was very low and higher with age increases, and there was a difference in the healthy eating index according to whether the handgrip strength health fitness standards were met by age group. Therefore, it can be seen that differentiated intervention strategies are needed for each age group to reduce metabolic health risk of middle-aged men and maintain muscle strength and handgrip strength. It is necessary to regularly conduct high-intensity and strength exercises, practice a diverse, balanced and helathy diet with high-quality protein foods and enough fruits and vegetables. 본연구는 국민건강영양조사(2016-2018년도)중50~64세중년남성 3,329명의 자료를 이용하여 중년기 성인남성의 악력,신체 활동 및식생활평가지수와 대사적 건강상태와의 관련성을 규명하고자 하였다.그결과 연령대에 따라 대사적 건강상태에 차이를보였으며 중년남성의 신체활동 및근력운동 실천율이 매우 낮았다.중년남성에서 연령이 증가함에 따라 악력수준은 감소하며,악력 건강체력기준을 충족하지 못한 경우 대사적 건강 위험도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다.본중년남성의 식생활평가지수의 총점은 매우 낮고 연령이 증가할수록 높게 나타났으며, 연령대별로 악력 건강체력기준을 충족여부에 따른 식생활평가지수에 차이를 보였다.따라서 중년남성의 대사적 건강위험도를 감소시키고 근력 및악력 유지하기 위해서 연령대별로 차별성 있는 중재전략이 필요함을 알수있다.고강도 및근력운동을 규칙적으로 실시하며 다양성과 균형성을 갖춘 양질의 단백질 식품과 충분한 과일 및채소가 포함된 건강식사를 실천하는 것이 필요하다.

        폐경기 여성의 악력과 신체활동에 따른 대사적 건강위험 및 식생활평가지수와의 관련성 연구–국민건강영양조사 제7기(2016~2018) 자료를 이용하여

        This study investigated the relationship between metabolic health risks and handgrip strength, physical activity, and meal quality of middle-aged, menopausal women. This was a cross-sectional study that used raw data from the Korean National Health and Nutrition Survey (2016–2018) on menopausal women aged 50–64 years, and all the data were analyzed using the SPSS 26.0 program. It was found that the higher the leisure-related physical activity, the lower the waist circumference, fasting blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, triglycerides, total cholesterol, and hs-CRP levels, and the lower the risk of abdominal obesity and metabolic health. The level of handgrip strength of these subjects was very low; however, women who performed aerobic and strength exercises met the criterion of health fitness for handgrip strength (CHFHGS). Moreover, the group above the CHFHGS had a significantly lower metabolic health risk and a significantly higher Korean healthy eating index score than the group below the CHFHGS. Therefore, to reduce abdominal obesity and metabolic health risk in menopausal women, it is necessary to regularly perform aerobic and strength exercises to maintain muscle strength. Moreover, balanced, diverse, and healthy meals should be consumed, including high-quality protein foods, and, milk and dairy products. 본 연구는 폐경기 중년 여성들의 악력과 신체활동에 따른 대사적 건강 위험과 식생활평가지수와의 관련성을 규명해보고자 실시하였다. 국민건강영양조사(2016년~2018년) 원시자료 중 50~64세의 자연폐경 여성 1890명의 자료를 최종분석에 사용하였으며 모든 자료는 SPSS 26.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 여가관련 신체활동량이 많을수록 허리둘레와 공복혈당, 당화혈색소, 혈중 중성지방 및 총콜레스테롤, hs-CRP수준이 낮게 나타났으며 유산소 및 근력운동을 실천한 경우 복부비만 및 대사적 건강지표 위험율이 낮았다. 본 폐경기 여성들의 악력수준은 매우 낮았으며 악력의 건강체력 기준을 충족한 경우 복부비만 및 대사적 건강위험도가 낮았다. 또한 유산소 및 근력운동을 실천한 경우 실천하지 않은 여성에 비해 악력의 건강체력 기준 충족율이 높았으며 악력이 건강체력 기준을 충족한 경우 식사의 질을 평가하는 식생활평가지수 점수가 높게 나타났다. 따라서 폐경 후 복부비만 및 대사적 건강위험도를 감소시키기 위해서는 근력유지를 위한 유산소 및 근력운동을 규칙적으로 실시하며 다양성과 균형성을 갖춘 양질의 단백질 식품과 우유 및 유제품이 포함된 건강식사를 실천하는 것이 필요하다.

        정신건강을 위한 긍정심리학적 윤리교육

        본 연구는 점차 대두되는 정신건강의 새로운 개념을 긍정심리학적 입장에서 주목하고자 한다. 즉 정신건강은 단순히 정신장애가 부재한 상태라기보다는 개인의 삶의 스트레스와 위기에 대한 사회적 적응력, 환경과의 조정능력, 문제 해결능력을 포함한 정신적 안녕상태를 의미한다. 그러므로 정신건강을 전반적인 정신적 안녕상태로 정의하고 윤리교육에서 추진할 필요가 있음을 제시하고자 한다. 특별히 긍정심리학은 인간의 약점과 결함에 치중된 불균형적인 관점 대신에 인간의 강점을 포괄한 통합적이고 균형 잡힌 관점을 지향하며, 정신건강을 단순히 증상이 없는 상태를 넘어 개인의 강점과 능력이 최대한 발현되는 상태로 확장시켰다. 본 연구는 긍정심리학의 이런 관점에 근거하여 윤리교육에서 정신건강이 증진되고 부적응적 증상이 예방될 수 있는 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 긍정심리학의 건강모델, 즉 질병모델이 아닌 심리적 웰빙을 지향하는 성장모델이 긍정적 정신건강을 이루어가는 구체적인 방안 역시 제시하고자 하였다. 대안적 정신건강 모델로 제시되고 있는 긍정심리학의 관점에서의 적용방안을 찾되, 강점 개입을 통한 긍정심리치료, 긍정 정서의 교육, 회복탄력성과 정신건강교육, 마음챙김 명상과 인지치료를 통한 정신건강교육, 신체건강과 함께하는 정신건강교육을 구체적인 적용방안으로 제시하였다. This study aims to pay attention to the new concept of the emerging mental health positively. In other words, mental health refers to mental well-being, including mental illness, social adaptability to life stress and crisis, ability to adjust to the environment, and problem-solving ability. It is therefore necessary to define mental health as an overall mental well-being and to promote it in ethical education. Positive psychology is an integrated and balanced perspective that encompasses human strengths rather than an imbalanced view that is focused on human weaknesses and deficiencies And extended mental health to a state in which the strengths and abilities of the individual are manifested to the maximum extent beyond the state without symptoms. Based on this perspective of positive psychology, this study seeks to find ways to improve mental health and prevent maladaptive symptoms in ethics education. The positive model of positive psychology, that is, the growth model that aims for psychological well-being rather than the disease model, would also provide concrete measures for positive mental health. In addition, positive psychotherapy through strength intervention, positive emotional education, resilience and mental health education, mindfulness through meditation and cognitive therapy Health education, and mental health education with physical health.

        규칙적 운동실시가 각 연령별 건강관련 체력에 미치는 영향

        This study aimed to identify the different effect of exercise on age groups of men in their thirties of 14, forties of 13, fifties of 12, and sixties of 14. Resistance training, Yoga, and complex-training were conducted with same intensity to analyse the effect on health-related strength. The result of this study is as follows; Muscular strength on extensor-flexor of every joint in groups of men in their thirties and forties increased significantly after exercise. Muscular strength on extensor-flexor of knee joint and elbow joint showed significant increase in groups of men in their fifties and sixties. Maximum oxygen consumption showed significant increase only in groups of men in their fifties and sixties. FVC significantly increased in groups of men in their thirties and sixties. MVV significantly increased in groups of men in their fifties and sixties. Flexibility significantly increased in groups of men in their all groups. Among groups, Muscular strength on extensor-flexor of knee joint in groups of men in their thirties and forties was significantly higher than that in groups of men in their fifties and sixties. Muscular strength on flexor of elbow joint was significantly higher in groups of men in their fifties and sixties than that in groups of men in their thirties and forties. Maximum oxygen consumption showed more increase in groups of men in their sixties than that in groups of men in their thirties and forties. As a result, regular exercise showed positive effect on health-related strength in every age group. It is considered that referring to the particular change of health-related strength in each age group is useful for planning exercise program for increasing health-related strength.

        자연과학편 : 허약노인을 위한 맞춤식 건강체조 프로그램 개발 및 효과

        이 연구는 허약노인을 대상으로 맞춤식 건강체조 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하여 체력을 향상시키는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구 대상자는 70세 이상의 농촌 여성 중 허약노인 16명(운동군 8명, 비운동군 8명)을 대상으로 실시하였다. 건강체조 프로그램은 1회 50분, 주 3회, 8주간 실시하였다. 연구결과 운동군의 악력, 의자 앉았다 일어서기, 2.45m 돌아오기, 눈뜨고 한발서기, 앉아서 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기, 4.6m 속보에서 유의하게 향상되었다. 즉, 허약노인을 위한 맞춤식 건강체조 프로그램은 허약노인의 체력을 향상시킬 수 있는 운동프로그램인 것으로 확인되었다. The purpose of this study was to improve the physical strength through the application and development of the customized health gymnastics program for the frail old. The subjects of this study were consisted of 16 frail women who were over 70 year old and dwelled in the suburban area(Exercise group=8, Non-exercise=8). The health gymnastics program was executed 50 minute a day, 3 times a week for 8 weeks. The result explains that the exercise group was significantly improved in terms of the grip strength, sit to stand, timed "UP & GO", one leg with eyes opened, sit and reach, 4.6meter fast walking speed. Therefore, the customized health gymnastics program was proven that it was helpful for the frail old in terms of physical strength.

        12주간의 복합운동프로그램이 산업현장근로자의 기초체력 및 건강관련지표에 미치는 효과

        The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of 12 weeks of combined exercise program on basic physical strength and health-related parameters in industrial sector workers. Fifty untrained volunteers were divided to low frequency group (2 times or less/week; 2-LG, n=20) and high frequency group (3times or more/week; 3-HG, n=30). All subjects participated to combined exercise program (resistance exercise: 1RM-60-70%, 8-12 repetitions, 2 sets, 1 min rest between each set, endurance exercise: RPE 15±2, 20 min, and exercise ball: 10 min). Basic physical strength (squeeze, sit and reach, sit-up, 1000m) and health-related parameters (weight, blood pressure, blood glucose, total cholesterol, triglyceride, WHR, body fat, muscle mass) were measured before and after of the combined exercise program. Squeeze, sit and reach, 1000m, WHR, body fat, and muscle mass improved significantly in 3-HG (p<.05). Sit-up and weight also improved significantly in both group (p<.05). These data indicated that the combined exercise program of 12 weeks mediate positive effects on basic physical strength and health-related parameters, and participation of the exercise three times or more a week might be needed to benefit of exercise application and health care.

        야외운동기구를 이용한 복합 운동프로그램이 여성노인의 건강관련 체력과 혈당 및 말초동맥에 미치는 영향

        This study aims to examine the effect of complex exercise program using outdoor exercise equipment on health-related physical strength, blood glucose and peripheral arteries of elderly women. To this end, in this study, 12-week exercise program targeting 19 elderly women aged over 65 (9 in the exercise group, 10 in the control group), who resided in the Jeollanam-do Province and did not engage in physical activities regularly, was carried out. As a result, the following conclusion was obtained. First, upon measuring the health-related physical strength of the elderly women, the cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength of the lower body and muscular endurance of elderly women in the exercise group were improved significantly after exercise, showing a significant difference between the exercise and control groups. The exercise group showed improvements in the flexibility and balance, but showing no significant difference. As for quickness, there was no significant difference between before and after exercise, as well as between the exercise and control groups. Second, as a result of measuring changes in the blood glucose of the elderly women, the exercise group showed a significant decrease in the blood glucose; and a significant difference in the blood glucose was also shown between before and after exercise and between the exercise and control groups. Third, in measuring changes in the peripheral arteries of the elderly women, no significant difference was found between before and after exercise as well as between the exercise and control groups. As stated above, it was confirmed that the 12-week complex exercise program using outdoor exercise equipment had a positive effect on the improvement of health-related physical strength and on lowering blood glucose. Further study needs to be conducted on a larger number of subjects and present a more variety of exercise programs to improve the health of the elderly.
