        골프드라이버 스윙 시 오른팔 주관절 릴리즈 시점이 crunch-factor 값에 미치는 영향

        This research has a purpose on providing basic datum of instruction method of swing preventing low back pain by analyzing interrelationship between elbow joint release points and crunch-factor which is associated with low back pain by golf swing. This research acquired video datum by filming 15 chosen KPGA players with 6 100Hz infrared cameras. The researcher performed correlation analysis among the elbow joint release points, the velocity of trunk rotation, the angle of lateral bending, and crunch factor, setting statistical significance as .05. According to this study, the release point of the right elbow joint and the bending angle of the body are correlated at the point of the mid-down swing and impact firstly. Second, the release point of the right elbow joint and the value of crunch factor are related at the point of the mid-down swing and impact. It is considered to help preventing low back pain by reducing the angle of lateral bending and the crunch factor value and improving athletic performances that releasing the main joint of right arm early than normal during the down swing of golf swing.

        골프 드라이버 스윙 시 백스윙 크기에 따른 Crunch factor 비교분석

        The purpose of this study is to provide basic data of golf instruction to prevent back pain by comparing and analyzing a normal swing and a control swing which is shorter backswing during driver swing. In this study, we measured the size of swing, the speed of body rotation, the angle of side-bend, and the value of crunch factor of ten members of Professional Golfers" Association in their 20s by using six infrared cameras at the sampling rate of 100Hz per second. First, the analysis on the difference in angles between forward swings and control swings revealed that forward swings were made bigger than control swings; it showed a statistically significant difference (p<.01). Second the analysis on the difference in lateral bending angles between forward swings and control swings revealed that forward swings had bigger side body angles than control swings at the points of impact (E3) and follow-through (E4) (p<.05). Third, the analysis on the difference in crunch factors between forward swings and control swings revealed that forward swings had bigger crunch factors compared to control swings at the points of impact (E3) and follow-through (E4) (p<.05, p<.01). In conclusion, the above results indicate that control swing makes the backswing angle small, resulting in small lateral bending angle and crunch factor. For professional golfers and instructors in the field to prevent low back pain during golf games, it is encouraged to practice control swing to make small backswings.

        골프 스윙 시 허리통증 예방을 위한 드라이버 샤프트강도 결정방법 연구

        The purpose of this research is to suggest how to choose shaft to prevent back pain by investigating kinematic variables of the body according to the difference of shaft strength of male pro-golf players’ driver swing. For this, this research selected random 15 members of Korea Professional Golfers" Association and photographed them with 6 infrared cameras at the sampling rate of 100Hz per second. The results of comparing and analyzing the kinematic variables of the body for two swings with club shaft S and R are as follows: 1. The analysis on the body rotation speed according to the shaft strength difference revealed that there was no statistically significant difference. 2. The analysis on the side bending angles of the body depending on the shaft strength difference showed statistically significant difference (p<.05); at the point of impact (E3), the R shaft swing had greater body side bending angles than the S shaft swing. 3. The analysis on the crunch-factor according to the shaft strength difference showed statistically significant difference (p<.05); the R shaft swing was greater than the S shaft swing at the point of impact (E3). In conclusion, it is considered that the difference in shaft strength affects the body side bending and crunch-factor value when swinging the driver. To prevent back pain, it is considered helpful to choose a shaft with higher CPM.
