간호학생의 지역사회 연계 간호교육 프로그램 참여 경험: 질적 내용분석

        이인숙,김혜옥,이병숙 한국간호교육학회 2022 한국간호교육학회지 Vol.28 No.3

Purpose: This study aimed to explore nursing students’ experience with community-linked nursing education programs. Methods: This study utilized a qualitative content analysis. Participants were 55 sophomore nursing students. The community-linked nursing education program was conducted for eight weeks using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evolution (ADDIE) model. Data were collected from 55 reflection records and five individual interviews and then analyzed through the three steps of qualitative content analysis, coding, condensing, and categorizing. Results: Twelve categories, 26 subcategories, and six topics emerged. The themes of impression and lesson from the community-linked nursing education programs were “recognizing the importance of professional competence in performing the role of nurse,” “recognizing the need for leadership and cooperation in nursing practice,” and “increased awareness of the role as a nursing professional for community residents.” The themes of the strategies used were “looking at the goal and moving forward,” and “aligning differences and working together with team/community members.” The theme of strategies for the advancement of community-linked nursing education programs was “establishing a sustainable student-participating community-linked education program.” Conclusion: The community-linked nursing education programs made students aware of the necessary competencies as professionals. In particular, they gave them hope for their role as professional nurses in the community. It could also be seen that they developed the ability to engage in team activities for community activities. Community-linked nursing education programs will need to be developed into continuous programs with community residents.

Aim(s): This study aimed to explore the experiences of nursing students who participated in the communitylinked team-project and contribute to the development of community-linked program participating nursing students. Method(s): A qualitative content analysis was conducted. Participants were 55 junior nursing students. Data were collected through reflection reports submitted by participants in December 2019. Data were analyzed using three processes of coding, condensing, and categorizing according to the qualitative content analysis. Result(s): Nursing students" experience of participating in community-linked team-project was derived ‘impression and lesson from community-linked team-project’, ‘strategies used in a community-linked team-project’, and ‘strategies for the advancement of a community-linked team-project’. Impression and lesson from community-linked team-project identified three themes: ‘recognition of the importance of professional competence’, ‘a sense of accomplishment growing up as a nursing professional’, and ‘hope for a role as a nursing professional for the community residents’. The strategies used in a community-linked team-project identified the theme of ‘working together with team members and community participant’. The strategies for the advancement of community-linked team-project identified the theme of ‘sustaining as a student-participatory community-linked program’. Conclusion(s): This study provided nursing students with an opportunity to know the importance of teamwork and pay attention to community residents’ needs through community-linked team-project. Using ACHIS to Analyze Nursing Health Promotion Interventions for Vulnerable Populations in a Community Nursing Center: A Pilot Study

홍외현,Sally Peck Lundeen 한국간호과학회 2009 Asian Nursing Research Vol.3 No.3

Objectives The purpose of the study was to describe the health promotion interventions of nurses serving a low-income urban population in an academic community nursing center (CNC) in Wisconsin. Methods The Omaha System (OS) was used to code client problems and nursing interventions for 9,839 visits at the CNC. A dataset created by the Automated Community Health Information System (ACHIS), a computerized clinical information system, was used. A pilot testing was performed with the ACHIS data repository. Each intervention was linked to a nursing diagnosis coded with modifiers as either actual or potential problems or health promotion issues. The Lundeen’s Comprehensive Community-based Primary Health Care Model (CCPHCM) which emphasizes primary prevention and health promotion activities served as the conceptual framework for this study. Results A total of 58,747 modifiers were documented for 58,747 nursing diagnoses where a total of 9,836 nursing interventions were provided to 9,839 community center visits at the CNC. Although a majority of the nursing diagnoses (61.8%) were coded as actual problems as might be expected for this vulnerable population, 38% of the client problems were documented as potential problems (20.6%) and health promotion issues (17.7%.) Health Teaching, Guidance and Counseling (38.9%) and Case Management(25.8%) were the most frequently coded interventions. Conclusion This research adds to the understanding of the importance of nurses’ interventions toward health promotion with the vulnerable population. This preliminary analysis suggests that the ACHIS provide a clinical information system for collecting, storing, processing, retrieving, and managing clinical data in a data repository. • 커뮤니티케어 실천을 위한 소규모노인요양시설의 사회화 및 발전방향

        최강일(Kang-il Choi),이정화(Jeonghwa Lee) 전남대학교 생활과학연구소 2020 生活科學硏究 Vol.30 No.1

The purpose of the study is to explore the developmental direction of community care that small-scale nursing homes need to practice. To do so, this study examined a status of socialization of nursing homes and future developmental direction to practice community care. For this study, 27 agencies with a capacity of 10 or less than 30 residents were surveyed in G city. This study found that the overall socialization practice was performed, with the residents having smooth contact with the local community, participation in the management of facilities and relatively diverse resources to the community. Socialization and practice of community care are used in the same aspect of emphasis on local community so, the results of the future direction of small-scale nursing homes for community care are as follows. Small-scale nursing homes located in the city have an easy access to local community so, they have a good advantage on service provision, such as day and night care and visiting nursing services for local residents. Therefore, small-scale nursing homes will play a crucial role in community care if each nursing home secures space for residents to use together and professional personnels who provide care management services.

      • 간호사 역할과 간호교육의 패러다임 전환 : 커뮤니티 케어 중심으로

        최귀윤 한국간호연구학회 2018 한국간호연구학회지 Vol.2 No.4

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to clarify the concept of community care, community care policy and delivery system, community care model and role of nurse, community care and nursing education in order to prepare competent nurses for community care. Methods : The research methods were reviewing literatures focused on the main words such as ‘role of nurse’, ‘nursing education’ and ‘community care’. Results : Population aging and change in the health care environment ask different roles for nurses. In particular, community care policies to help and maintain healthy aging in older people’s homes provide opportunities to expand the role of nurses. In order to promote effective Korean community care, a strategy for securing the health care workforce should be established and competent professionals should be appropriately placed. Therefore, universities should innovate and shift the paradigm on nursing education in order to prepare nurses capable of carrying out community-based care. Conclusion : The results of this study can be used as a basis for constructing curriculum for nurse competency development for community care and setting direction of nursing education for community care.

There are 26 people. The collected data were analyzed by the analysis method suggested by Colaizzi. Results Nursing students' experience of performing family health education was derived from 13 themes and 5 theme clusters. The five thema clusters are ‘Time for warm-hearted understanding’, ‘Not easy preparation process’, ‘Taste of educational achievement’, ‘Greater health education competency’, and ‘Being a community nurse’. Conclusions As a result of this study, nursing students had a warm-hearted understanding with their family through family health education, experienced a sense of educational achievement through a difficult preparation process, increased health education competency, and had a positive experience of growing up as a community nurse.
