        Self-etching priming/bonding agent를 이용한 수복에서 microleakage에 관한 연구

        Bonding Agent는 1세대에서 5세대에 거치기까지 많은 발전을 하였고, 최근에는 임상술식과정의 단축에 있어 비약적인 발전을 보였다. 최근에 개발되어 소개된 self-etching pyirning/bonding agent는 6세대 bonding agent로 분류되며, 이를 이용하여 법랑질 및 상아질에 대한 복합 레진의 충전시 발생하는 미세누출을 methylene blue를 이용하여 관찰한 결과, 상아질에서는 기존의 4세대 5세대 접착제와 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 법랑질에서는 6세대 bonding agent가 통계학적으로 높은 미세누출 양상을 보였다. Self-etching priming bonding system was recently developed in order to simplify the clinical skills & save chair time after continuous improvements on dentin bonding agents. To test the magnitude of microleakage of a new "self-etching priming bonding agent" using sound premolar, 4th, 5th, 6th generation dentin bonding agent was applied. Measure the magnitude of infiltration to the gap of enamel-restoration interface and dentin-restoration interface. After bonding of composite resin to sample surfaces according to the manufactures direction and 500 times thermocycling en dwell time 30 second, and microleakage was measured by the ratio of the depth to the axial wall and the magnitude of infiltration. Afterward analyzed by ANOVA test. The result were as follows : 1. Enamel groups showed lesser microleakage (Group Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ) than dentin groups (Group Ⅴ, Ⅵ, Ⅶ, Ⅷ). (p<0.05) 2. There are no statical differences among the dentin groups, in enamel groups, group Ⅳ showed more microleakage than group Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ. (p<0.05) For a clinical acceptance, better enamel marginal adaptation is required.

        복합레진 수복 후 Bonding agent와 Sealant의 표면도표가 미세누출에 미치는 영향

        Class V cavities, with their gingival margins located below cemento-enamel junction, were prepared on 90 healthy premolars that were extracted for orthodontic purpose; After 35% phosphoric acid etch and Scotchprep, Scotchbond 2 were applied, P-50 posterior composite resin were placed at all the cavities. The samples were divided into six groups and each group is consist of fifteen teeth. In experiment 1), control group with reisn filling only was compared to the experimental groups with additional application of bonding agent and sealant on composite resin surface. The experimental groups were thermocycled 55 times between 5℃ and 55℃. In experiment 2), the same procedure as in experiment 1) was carried out and the specimens were burshed 500 times under the load of 500g/㎠ with abrasion tester. All the specimens were,then,stained with basic fuschin solution,and microleakage was measured with steromicroscopy. The following results were obtained: 1.When the gingival margin of the cavity is placed on dentin or cementum, dye penetration was increased at the gingival margin after resin curing; brushing procedure showes this phenomenon. 2.Microleakage after the resin curing in the groups with additional application of bonding agent and sealant with thermocycling anly was more reduced significantly than control group'there was statistically significance(P<0.01). 3.There was no differance in reducing effect of microleakage between the bonding agent-applied group and sealant-applied group. 4.The experimental groups to which bonding agent and sealant were applied after thermocycling and burshing showed microleakage reducing effect and there was statistically significance (P<0.01) As a result, it can be concluded that microleakage at gingival margin,that was created after resin curing, can be significantly reduced by surperficial application and curing of bonding agent and sealant. Clinically, such utilization of bonding agent and sealant would be effective in prevention of secondary caries and pulp disease, which are the results of microleakage. Nevertheless, whether the microleakage reducing effect can last long under the abrasive action of burshing is still open to doubt, and there is a necessity for studing further.

        실리카-커플링제-고무의 화학 결합 형성과 특성 분석

        용매를 사용하지 않고 실리카와 실란커플링제의 반응을 투과 방식 휴리에 변환 적외선 분광법(FTIR)과 열중량 분석법(TGA)을 이용하여 조사하였다. 실란커플링제로 bis[3-(triethoxysilylpropyl) tetrasulfide] (TESPT)를 사용하였다. 미반응 TESPT를 제거한 후, FTIR로 화학 결합 형성을 분석하였고 TGA로 반응한 TESPT 함량을 결정하였다. 커플링제의 함량이 증가할수록 실리카에 결합한 커플링제의 양이 증가하였으나, 커플링제를 과량으로 첨가하면 커플링제 간의 축합반응에 의해 올리고머를 형성하였다. 실리카와 커플링제 그리고 고무의 결합을 확인하기 위하여 개질 실리카와 저분자량 액상 BR을 반응시켜 실리카-커플링제-BR 모델 복합체를 제조하여 화학 결합 형성을 조사하였다. 미반응 고무는 용매를 사용하여 제거하였고 FTIR과 TGA로 분석하였다. BR은 개질 실리카의 커플링제와 반응하여 화학 결합을 형성하였다. 실리카-커플링제-BR의 화학 결합 형성으로 인해 실리카 표면의 극성은 크게 낮아졌고 실리카 입자 크기는 커지는 효과를 보였다. Reaction between silica and silane coupling agent without solvent was investigated using transmission mode Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Bis[3-(triethoxysilylpropyl) tetrasulfide] (TESPT) was used as a silane coupling agent. After removing the unreacted TESPT, formation of chemical bonds was analyzed using FTIR and content of reacted TESPT was determined using TGA. Content of the coupling agent bonded to silica increased with increase in the coupling agent content, but the oligomers were formed by condensation reaction between coupling agents when the coupling agent was used to excess. In order to identify bonds formed among silica, coupling agent, and rubber, a silica-coupling agent-BR model composite was prepared by reaction of the modified silica with liquid BR of low molecular weight and chemical bond formation of silica-coupling agent-BR was investigated. Unreacted rubber was removed with solvent and analysis was performed using FTIR and TGA. BR was reacted with the coupling agent of the modified silica to form chemical bonds. Polarity of silica surface was strikingly reduced and particle size of silica was increased by chemical bond formation of silica-coupling agent-BR.

        최근 소개된 상아질 접착제의 전단 접착 강도 비교

        For the purpose of convenience and reducing time, newer bonding agents have been developed for composite resin restoration. Recently developed one bottle bonding system including etching, primer and adhesive can make procedures simpler and less technique-sensitive than old generation adhesives. The aim of this study was comparing the shear bond strength of new dentin bonding agents to the 5th generation bonding agent which had an etching step. 78 premolar teeth were randomly divided into three groups which were treated with Tetric® N-Bond Universal (Ivoclar Vivadent, Liechtenstein), GC® G-Premio BOND (GC Co., Japan) without additional etching step and 3M™ Single Bond2 (3M ESPE, USA) with an etching step following manufacturer’s instructions. Filtek™ Z-350 (3M ESPE, USA) composite resin was applied and light cured over bonding agents. For shear bond strength evaluation, universal testing machine was used with a wedge technique. As a result, shear bond strength of one step bonding agents was lower than two step bonding agent and there were statistically significant differences between them (p < 0.05). In addition, within the result of two new bonding agents, Tetric® N-Bond Universal showed significantly higher shear bond strength than GC® G-Premio BOND (p < 0.05). 소아치과 영역에서 수복 치료에 널리 쓰이는 레진 치료의 술식 민감성 및 시간 감소에 대한 꾸준한 노력으로 새로운 접착제의 개발이 이루어지고 있는데 최근 출시된 접착제와 기존에 널리 쓰이는 두 단계 접착제와 비교 분석하여 임상적으로 적용하기에 어떠할지평가해 보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 78개의 건전한 소구치를 3군으로 나누어 순면 법랑질에 새로 개발된 Tetric® N-Bond Universal (Ivoclar Vivadent, Liechtenstein)과 GC® G-Premio BOND (GC Co., Japan)를 실험군으로 하고 기존의 5세대 3M™ Single Bond2 (3M ESPE, USA)를 대조군으로 설정하여 동일하게 Filtek™ Z-350 (3M ESPE, USA)복합 레진을 접착시킨 후 접착제에 따른 전단접착강도를비교 평가하였다. 그 결과 산부식 과정을 따로 적용하지 않은 두 실험군에서 각각의 전단접착강도가 산부식 과정을 포함한 대조군의 결과보다 통계학적으로 유의성 있게 낮은 결과를 나타내었다. 또한 새로 개발된 두 접착제간 비교에서는 Tetric® N-Bond Universal 제품이 GC® GPremio BOND 제품보다 전단 접착 강도가 유의성 있게 큰 것으로 나타나 임상에서 제품을 선택할 때 참조할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

        레진재료의 결합을 위한 복합레진 수복물의 최적표면처리법에 관한 연구

        Composite resin repair requires strong bond strength between the new and old materials. The objective of the current study was to identify the optimal treatments for sufficient bond strengths. Bondings between same kinds of a light curing composite were tested. Surface treatments included the sand-blasting, the acid etching and the coating of bonding agent. Five kinds cased of combinations from three kinds of methods were experimented and compared with a control group of which surfaces were highly polished. Measurements of shear bond strength and observations of surface morphologic changes using a scanning electron microscope were done. Following conclusions were drawn : 1. Sandblasting with 6㎏/㎠ compressed air pressure followed by coating the bonding agent on the composite resin surface exhibited the highest shear bond strength for repair. 2. Compressed air pressure between 4㎏/㎠ and 6㎏/㎠ were effective for repair of composite. 3. Bonding agent should be used after the acid etching technique, and for bonding agent, acid etchants such as 5% hydrofluoric acid and APF gel with 90 seconds treatment time were recommended for repair of composite. 4. 5% hydrofluoric acid as one of lower concentration were more effective and recommended than 9.6% hydrofluoric acid.

        상아질 표면처리제 및 결합제가 레진강화형 글라스 아이오노머와 상아질의 전단결합강도에 주는 영향

        Resin-modified glass ionomers (RmGIs) have been widely used and are recommended for restoring cervical lesions that include enamel and dentin margins, and for caries-prone patients because of the possible anticariogenic effect of fluroride. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the shear bond strength of two resin-modified glass ionomers to dentin using four different dentin surface treatments and two one-bottle bonding agents. Human dentin was pretreated with 35 % phosphoric acid, 10 % citric acid and 3 % ferric chloride, 10 % polyacrylic acid and EDTA 3-2 solution, and was applied with One-Step and Single Bond. Two resin-modified glass-ionomers, Fuji Ⅱ LC(FLC) and Vitremer (VTM), were then adhered to the dentin. After 24 h in distilled water at 37 ℃ the shear bond strength between the resin-modified glass-ionomers and the pretreated dentin was measured with an Instron at a crosshead speed of 0.5 mm/min and the dentin-dentin bonding agent-RmGI interface of the specimen was observed by SEM. From the experiment, the following results were obtained : 1.For the dentin treated only with surface treatments except EDTA 3-2 solution, the shear bond strength of resin-modified glass ionomers to dentin was statistically significant higher than that of resin-modified glass ionomers to dentin treated with dentin surface treatments (p<0.05). 2.For the dentin applied with dentin bonding agents subsequent to pretreatment with dentin surface treatments, the shear bond strength of resin-modified glass ionomers to dentin was statistically significant higher than that of resin-modified glass ionomers to dentin treated only with dentin surface treatments (p<0.05). 3.When the specimens were applied with One-Step or Single Bond subsequent to four different dentin surface treatments, the shear bond strength of resin-modified glass ionomers to dentin was not statistically different between One-Step and Single Bond (p<0.05). 4.With applications of dentin bonding agent, 35 % phosphoric acid or 10 % citric acid + 3 % ferric chloride solutions were found to be the most effective in improving bond strength to dentin, followed by 0.5 M EDTA 3-2 solution and 10 % polyacrylic acid solution. 5.From SEM observations, 10 % polyacrylic acid solution did not completely remove the smear layers, but 35 % phosphoric acid, 10 % citric acid + 3 % ferric chloride, and 0.5 M EDTA 3-2 solution completely removed the smear layers so that could form resin tag.

        Dentin bond strength of bonding agents cured with Light Emitting Diode

        This study compared the dentin shear bond strengths of currently used dentin bonding agents that were irradiated with an LED (Elipar FreeLight, 3M-ESPE) and a halogen light (VIP, BISCO). The optical characteristics of two light curing units were evaluated. Extracted human third molars were prepared to expose the occlusal dentin and the bonding procedures were performed under the irradiation with each light curing unit. The dentin bonding agents used in this study were Scotchbond Multipurpose (3M ESPE), Single Bond (3M ESPE), One-Step (Bisco), Clearfil SE bond (Kuraray), and Adper Prompt (3M ESPE). The shear test was performed by employing the design of a chisel-on-iris supported with a Teflon wall. The fractured dentin surface was observed with SEM to determine the failure mode. The spectral appearance of the LED light curing unit was different from that of the halogen light curing unit in terms of maximum peak and distribution. The LED LCU (maximum peak in 465 ㎚) shows a narrower spectral distribution than the halogen LCU (maximum peak in 487 ㎚). With the exception of the Clearfil SE bond (P < 0.05), each 4 dentin bonding agents showed no significant difference between the halogen light-cured group and the LED light-cured group in the mean shear bond strength (P > 0.05). The results can be explained by the strong correlation between the absorption spectrum of camphoroquinone and the narrow emission spectrum of LED. LED 광중합기(Elipar FreeLight, 3M-ESPE)와 할로겐 광중합기(VIP, Bisco)로 광조사한 수종의 상아질 접 착제에 대해서 상아질 전단접착강도를 비교하였다. 또한 이번 연구의 광학적 근거를 얻기 위해 두 광중합기의 파장 에 따른 광강도와 스펙트럼을 비교하였다. 이번 연구에서 사용된 상아질 접착제는 Scotchbond Multipurpose (3M ESPE), Single Bond (3M ESPE), One-Step (Bisco), Clearfil SE Bond (Kuraray), Adper Prompt (3M ESPE) 이다. VIP는 487 ㎚에서 최대정점을 가지는 넓은 스펙트럼의 분포를 보이는 반면에, Elipar FreeLight는 465 ㎚에서의 최대정점을 중심으로 좁은 스펙트럼의 분포를 보였다. Clearfil SE bond를 제외하고 할로겐과 LED로 광조사한 각 상아질 접착제에서 상아질 전단접착강도값의 유의성 있는 차이는 보이지 않았다 (P > 0.05). 이러한 결과는 camphoroquinone의 흡수스펙트럼과 LED의 좁은 영역의 스펙트럼사이에 강한 연관성으로 설명할 수 있다.

        The effect of cavity wall property on the shear bond strength test using iris method

        목적 : 본 연구에서는 '전단접착강도 시험법에서 cohesive failure를 줄일 수 있는 것으로 소개된 metal iris를 사용하면, 실제의 1급 와동에서보다 복합 레진과 와동벽의 결합이 없어서 C-factor 적게 작용하고 계면에 발생하는 수축응력 이 감소됨으로써, 임상에서보다 높은 결합력 값이 보고될 것이다.' 라는 가설을 검증하기 위하여 dentin iris를 사용하여 전단접착강도를 측정하였다. 방법 : 64개의 대구치를 4군으로 구분하여 metal iris와 dentin iris 군으로 구분하고, 그 각각을 ONE-STEP과 ALL-BOND 2의 두 군으로 나누었다. bonding agent를 적용하고, iris를 고정한 후, 복합 레진을 충전하여 시편을 완성하였다 이 때 dentin iris의 경우 내면에도 bonding agent를 적용하여 와동벽과의 결합이 발생하게 하였다. 전단접착강도는 24시간 후 측정하였고, 파절의 양상은 주사전자현미경과 입체광학현미경을 이용하여 결정하였다. 결과 : 전단접착강도 측정법에서 iris법을 이용함으로써 cohesive failure를 줄일 수 있다. 전단접착강도 측정법은 adhesive 두께가 얇은 경우에 와동벽의 영향을 받는다. Objectives: In the unique metal iris method, the developing interfacial gap at the cavity floor resulting from the cavity wall property during polymerizing composite resin might affect the nominal shear bond strength values. The aim of this study is to evaluate that the iris method reduces the cohesive failure in the substrates and the cavity wall property effects on the shear bond strength tests using iris method. Materials and Methods: The occlusal dentin of 64 extracted human molars were randomly divided into 4 groups to simulate two different levels of cavity wall property (metal and dentin iris) and two different materials (ONE-STEP® and ALL-BOND® 2) for each wall property. After positioning the iris on the dentin surface, composite resin was packed and light-cured. After 24 hours the shear bond strength was measured at a crosshead speed of 0.5 mm/min. Fracture analysis was performed using a microscope and SEM. The data was analyzed statistically by a two-way ANOVA and t-test. Results: The shear bond strength with metal iris was significant higher than those with dentin iris (p = 0.034). Using ONE-STEP®, the shear bond strength with metal iris was significant higher than those with dentin iris (p = 0.005), but not in ALL-BOND® 2 (p = 0.774), The incidence of cohesive failure was very lower than other shear bond strength tests that did not use iris method. Conclusions: The iris method may significantly reduce the cohesive failures in the substrates. According to the bonding agent systems, the shear bond strength was affected by the cavity wall property.

        Ni-Cr합금과 도재간의 결합력에 gold-based bonding agent가 미치는 영향

        The success of a porcelain fused to metal (PFM) restoration depends upon the quality of the porcelain-metal bond. The adhesion between metal substructure and dental porcelain is related to the diffusion of oxygen to the reaction layer formed on cast-metal surface during firing. The purposed of this investigation was to study the effects of gold based bonding agent on Ni-Cr alloy-ceramic adhesion between porcelain matrix, gold based bonding agent and metal substructure interface. gold based bonding agent have been applied as an intermediate layer between a metal substructure and a ceramic coating. gold based bonding agent(Aurofilm NP, Metalor, Swiss) was applied on Ni-Cr alloy surface by four method. Surfaces only air abraded with 110ß≠ Al2O3 particles were used as control. metal ceramic adhesion was evaluated by a biaxial flexure test(N=5) and volume fraction of adherent porcelain was determined by SEM/EDS analysis. Result of this study suggest that the layering sequence of gold based bonding agent is very important and can improve porcelain adherence to PFM.

        Silane coupling agent인 MPS 농도별처리에 따른 열중합 레진과 자가중합 레진 간의 전단결합강도

        본 논문은 치과에서 많이 사용되고 있는 silane coupling agent로 표면 처리한 의치상 레진과 자가중합레진 간의 전단 결합력에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 의치상 레진에 silane coupling agent 농도별 표면 처리 후 자가중합레진을 주입하여 전단결합강도를 측정하였다. Silane coupling agent(MPS)의 농도별 표면 처리에 따른 의치상 레진과 자가중합레진 간의 전단결합강도에서는 Vertex self curing resin에서 5%, 7%에서 유의적으로 높게 나타났고(P<0.05), Kooliner에서는 5%에서 유의적으로 가장 높게 나타났다(P<0.05). 따라서 의치상 레진과 자가중합레진 사이에 MPS 5%를 이용한 표면처리가 전단결합강도에 효과적으로 영향을 미치는 것이라 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the surface treatment of widely used in dental of silane coupling agent concentration on the shear bond strength of denture base resin and self curing resins. Denture base resin surface was treated with silane coupling agent concentration, after self curing resins were injected shear bond strength was measured. The results of silane coupling agent(MPS) concentration on the shear bond strength of Vertex self curing resin showed that the value of 5%, 7% groups were higher than that of other group(P<0.05). Silane coupling agent concentration on the shear bond strength of Kooliner resin showed that the value of 5% was highest(P<0.05). Therefore, we could conclude 5% MPS to strengthen effectively the shear bonding property of denture base resin and self curing resins of this study.
