        활동시스템 지도, 어떻게 경쟁전략 교육에 활용할 것인가? 매핑방법의 제안을 중심으로

        본 연구는 활동시스템 지도(activity system map)를 전략 교육에 활용하기 위한 방법을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. ‘전략이란 상호 긴밀하게 연결된 활동의 집합이며, 이러한 독특한 활동 네트워크가 지속적 경쟁우위의 원천이 된다.’는 마이클 포터의 전략에 대한 관점을 잘 반영하고 있는 분석 틀이 그가 처음 제시한 활동시스템 지도이다. 전략에 대한 활동중심 관점에 근거하고 있는 활동시스템 지도는, 기업의 전략을 명확하게 분석할 수 있으며, 경쟁우위의 원천과 지속성에 대해서도 구체적으로 설명할 수 있다는 장점이 있어서, 전략 교육이나 기업 실무에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 활동시스템 지도가 전략 교육이나 실무에 충분히 활용되고 있지 못한 것은 그 적용 분야나 이를 그리는 방법에 대한 구체적 가이드라인이 존재하지 않기 때문이다. 이러한 문제의식에서, 본 논문은 활동시스템 지도가 적용될 수 있는 전략적 이슈를 구체적으로 제시하였다. 특히 경쟁전략 교육에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있도록 이를 도시화하는 과정, 기준, 방법을 구체적으로 개발, 제안하였다. This paper proposes specific guidelines and methods for mapping a firm’s activity system so that it can be used both in strategic management education and business practice. Based upon the activity-based perspective of strategy, Michael Porter has made a framework which he calls an ‘activity system map’ to visualize a firm’s strategic positions and involved activities. It reflects the essence of Porter’s thought that strategy is choosing different activities from its rivals and competitive advantage arises from a unique combination of interrelated activities, Activity system map may enable us to analyze a firm’s competitive strategy and evaluate the sustainability of competitive advantage. It has many potential advantages for strategy education and business practice. Nevertheless, little instructor use it in the strategic management class because there are no guidelines and methods to visualize an activity system map. This study presents application areas of activity system map and develops step-by-step guidelines to chart it.

        Dense RGB-D Map-Based Human Tracking and Activity Recognition using Skin Joints Features and Self-Organizing Map

        This paper addresses the issues of 3D human activity detection, tracking and recognition from RGB-D video sequences using a feature structured framework. During human tracking and activity recognition, initially, dense depth images are captured using depth camera. In order to track human silhouettes, we considered spatial/temporal continuity, constraints of human motion information and compute centroids of each activity based on chain coding mechanism and centroids point extraction. In body skin joints features, we estimate human body skin color to identify human body parts (i.e., head, hands, and feet) likely to extract joint points information. These joints points are further processed as feature extraction process including distance position features and centroid distance features. Lastly, self-organized maps are used to recognize different activities. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is reliable and efficient in recognizing human poses at different realistic scenes. The proposed system should be applicable to different consumer application systems such as healthcare system, video surveillance system and indoor monitoring systems which track and recognize different activities of multiple users.

        인체의 상향식 선택적 주의 집중 시각 기능을 모방한 능동 스테레오 감시 시스템의 개발

        N/A In this paper, we propose an active stereo surveillance system with human-like convergence function. The proposed system uses a bottom-up saliency map model with the human-like selective attention visual function to select an interesting region in each camera. and this system compares the landmarks whether the selective region in each camera finds a same region. If the left and right cameras successfully find a same landmarks, the implemented vision system focuses on the landmark. Using the motor encoder information, we can automatically obtain the depth information and resultantly construct a depth map using the depth information. Computer simulation and experimental results show that the proposed convergence method is very effective to implement the active stereo surveillance system.

        뇌파 기반 실시간 뇌활동 모니터링 시스템의 타당성 조사

        Spatiotemporal changes of brain rhythmic activity at a certain frequency have been usually monitored in real time using scalp potential maps of multi-channel electroencephalography(EEG) or magnetic field maps of magnetoencephalography(MEG). In the present study, we investigate if it is possible to implement a real-time brain activity monitoring system which can monitor spatiotemporal changes of cortical rhythmic activity on a subject's cortical surface, neither on a sensor plane nor on a standard brain model, with a high temporal resolution. In the suggested system, a frequency domain inverse operator is preliminarily constructed, considering the individual subject's anatomical information, noise level, and sensor configurations. Spectral current power at each cortical vertex is then calculated for the Fourier transforms of successive sections of continuous data, when a single frequency or particular frequency band is given. An offline study which perfectly simulated the suggested system demonstrates that cortical rhythmic source changes can be monitored at the cortical level with a maximal delay time of about 200 ms, when 18 channel EEG data are analyzed under Pentium4 3.4GHz environment. Two sets of artifact-free, eye closed, resting EEG data acquired from a dementia patient and a normal male subject were used to show the feasibility of the suggested system. Factors influencing the computational delay are investigated and possible applications of the system are discussed as well.

        Chaotic particle swarm optimization in optimal active control of shear buildings

        The applications of active control is being more popular nowadays. Several control algorithms have been developed to determine optimum control force. In this paper, a Chaotic Particle Swarm Optimization (CPSO) technique, based on Logistic map, is used to compute the optimum control force of active tendon system. A chaotic exploration is used to search the solution space for optimum control force. The response control of Multi-Degree of Freedom (MDOF) shear buildings, equipped with active tendons, is introduced as an optimization problem, based on Instantaneous Optimal Active Control algorithm. Three MDOFs are simulated in this paper. Two examples out of three, which have been previously controlled using Lattice type Probabilistic Neural Network (LPNN) and Block Pulse Functions (BPFs), are taken from prior works in order to compare the efficiency of the current method. In the present study, a maximum allowable value of control force is added to the original problem. Later, a twenty-story shear building, as the third and more realistic example, is considered and controlled. Besides, the required Central Processing Unit (CPU) time of CPSO control algorithm is investigated. Although the CPU time of LPNN and BPFs methods of prior works is not available, the results show that a full state measurement is necessary, especially when there are more than three control devices. The results show that CPSO algorithm has a good performance, especially in the presence of the cut-off limit of tendon force; therefore, can widely be used in the field of optimum active control of actual buildings.

        지식활동의 관계식별을 위한 연계형 분류체계에 관한 연구

        본고는 그간 독립적으로 존재해 왔던 학문분류 연구분류 기술분류 산업분류 전공분류 및 취업분류와 같은 지식활동과 관련된 분류체계를 상호 연계시켜 종합적으로 보는 새로운 모형을 제시하고 그를 구체적으로 구현하는 방법을 다룬 것이다. 중분야 이상의 의미를 갖는 학문분류와 소분야 이하의 의미를 갖는 연구분류를 통합시킨 학문/연구분류는, 자체가 연구분야와 적용분야로 구성되는 2차원형이지만, 한편으로는 다양한 기술분류와 산업분류로 연계되고, 다른 한편으로는 전공(교육)분류와 취업분류로 연계된다. 연계시키는 방법은 두 개 이상의 분류체계를 동시에 기재하도록 하고, 그러한 기재를 허용하는 정보시스템과 데이터베이스를 갖추고, 필요에 따라 몇 개의 분류체계를 선택하여 동시에 사용하면 된다. 본고는 새로운 분류체계를 보이고자 한 것이지만 기본적인 의도는 분류체계를 넘어선다. 지식사회의 기본적인 활동인 지식활동을 종합적으로 파악하기 위한 수단을 강구하고자 한 것이다. This paper suggests a new model connecting various knowledge activities through classification systems such as classifications of research, technology, industry, major and job. Although research activities are linked to technology and industry areas or to education and job areas, there is no effort to link these kinds of activities. There are a few studies to link research and technology or research and education respectively. But, there have been no studies to connect technology-industry linkage and education-job linkage. This paper suggests that research area can be a basis of link between technology-industry linkage and education-job linkage. The methods building the links are not simple, but easy; 1) setting up new science/research classification system having two dimensions of research and application, 2) building electronic systems and databases allowing fields for several classification systems, and 3) making rules using multi-dimensional classification systems following the purpose of the programs. The model is designed to meet the needs of nationwide R&D and human resources policies, and for the preparation of knowledge society to grasp the relationship between sequential activities using knowledge. If we know the interactive relationships between various areas, we can trace related phenomena in different activities with restricted information.

        국내외 패스트 패션 브랜드의 경쟁전략 분석

        최근 패스트 패션 산업 내 브랜드들은 기획-생산-유통의 수직적 통합 프로세스를 통해 효과적으로 제품을 생산하고, 판매함으로써 급격하게 성장하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 이러한 패스트 패션 브랜드들의 성장을 심층적으로 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이전까지 패스트 패션 연구는 마케팅 측면과 운영관리 측면으로 나누어졌다. 하지만 기존의 연구들은 패스트 패션 산업의 성공을 설명하는데 한계가 있었다. 왜냐하면 경쟁업체들은 선두 업체들의 전략을 쉽게 모방을 할 수 있었기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구는 기업의 전략적인 측면으로 패스트 패션 브랜드들의 경쟁 전략을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 Porter(1996)의 활동체계도 모형, Kim & Mauborgne(2005)의 전략 캔버스 모델을 바탕으로 경쟁전략을 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 글로벌 패스트 패션 브랜드들의 경쟁력은 높은 적합성을 가진 각 각의 활동들의 결합으로 이루어졌다. 이에 따라 쉽게 모방이 힘든 구조를 가지고 있는 것으로 관찰되어 진다. 활동체계도를 통해 경쟁기업들의 활동들을 파악하고, 국내 패스트 패션 브랜드들이 장기적인 시야를 가지고 경쟁우위를 가질 수 있는 전략에 집중할 수 있다면 향후 국내 패스트 패션 브랜드도 좋은 성과를 거둘 수 있음을 시사한다. This study analyzes the competitive strategies of international and domestic fast fashion brands. We demonstrate the competitive strategies of three fast fashion brands, ZARA, Uniqlo and 8Seconds, using activity system and strategic canvas models. The result is that fast fashion brands have their own competitive advantage, which have the high fit among each of value chain activities. Through the analysis of three different brands, we found that activity system map and strategy canvas models, could act as useful frameworks in analysing the distinctiveness and potential weakness of a firm's competitive strategy.

        클러터 환경에 강인한 고속/소형의 접근 표적 탐지/추적

        In this paper, we propose a robust method which can detect and track a high-speed small approaching target in a cluttered environment for Korean Active Protection System. The proposed method uses a temporal and spatial filter, tracking filter to detect and track a single target in consecutive order. And it is comprised of a candidate target detection step, a prior target selection step and a target tracking. Field tests on real infrared image sequences show that the proposed method could stably track a high speed and small target in complex background and target occlusion.

Widespread utilization of three-dimensional (3D) mapping systems has facilitated the improvement in the outcomes after catheter ablation of AF. The purpose of this article is to review the current status, clinical role, and future directions of various 3D mapping systems in catheter ablation of AF.</P>
