        영어몰입프로그램이 영어능력과 언어 및 문화 선호에 미치는 영향

        This paper is an investigation of several questions about English Immersion Programs(EIP) for elementary school children in Korea. First, I have investigated the effects of the factors(age, the amount of input learners receive inside and outside the school, language anxiety, attitude toward language and culture, subject's opinion on instructor's teaching method, types of motivation) on the learners within the programs. Second, I have examined whether an English Immersion Program improves learners' English abilities. Third, I have investigated whether an English Immersion Program influences learners' preference of languages and cultures. Fourth, I have explored how the factors influence their English abilities and preferences, depending on whether children participated in an English Immersion Program or a non-Immersion Program. Although this study revealed that the children of the English Immersion Program developed proficiency more efficiently than the non-Immersion Program children and that the majority of English Immersion Program children do not devalue their mother language and culture, it is still under discussion as to whether these findings would be applicable to all English Immersion Programs in Korea.

        몰입형 기숙체육프로그램 경험유무에 따른 스트레스 대처방식이 사회성에 미치는 영향

        In order to clarify the relationship between the sociality and Stress coping strategies through the experience of the immersion-type lodging sports program, the 4-year universities that implement the lodging program in Gyeonggi-do are selected as the parent group. And the school that has the most active lodging program and the most number of open lecture for the lodging sports program is taken for the sample group. By using the attendance record to extract the sample of 602 students by using a type of probability sampling extract in simple random sampling extraction method. The collected statistical program, SPSS Windows 12.0 Version, is used to process in computer in accordance with the purpose of analysis. The analysis technique used for the data analysis has the following conclusions by analyzing through the frequency analysis, independent t-test, and multiple regression analysis. First, the difference of sociality before and after experiencing the immersion-type lodging sports program has the statistically noticeable difference. Higher statistical figure is obtained for reliability, confidence, leadership, diligence, safety, and social nature. Second, the difference of Stress coping strategies before and after experiencing the immersion-type lodging sports program has no statistically noticeable difference. And third, the relationship between the sociality and Stress coping strategies through immersion-type lodging sports program partially makes noticeable influence. People with high reliability mainly uses the sentiment-oriented response and desired thinking response, diligence for the problem-oriented response, safety for the desired thinking response, and people with high sociality most frequently use the sentiment-oriented response and social support-pursuing response. 본 연구의 목적은 몰입형 기숙체육교육 프로그램 경험유무에 따른 사회성이 스트레스 대처방식에 미치는 영향의 규명이다. 몰입형 기숙프로그램은 글로벌 인재 육성을 위한 특성화 교육 프로그램으로서 체육, 문화, 외국어를 입학과 동시에 1학년 전원을 대상으로 이루어지는 교육활동으로서 지성과 덕성의 조화로운 인성을 함양하고 건강을 유지하며 리더십과 사회성을 함양을 목적으로 하고 있다. 따라서 경기도 내에서 몰입형 기숙프로그램을 실시하고 있는 4년제 대학교를 모집단으로 선정하여 몰입형 프로그램 중 체육프로그램을 수강하는 학생들을 표집단으로 선정하여 비 확률표본추출 방법의 종류인 편의표본추출법을 이용하여 602명의 표본을 추출하였다. 수집된 통계 프로그램인 SPSS Windows 15.0 Version을 이용하여 분석 목적에 따라 전산처리 하였다. 자료 분석을 위하여 사용한 분석기법은 빈도분석과 독립 t-test, 선형회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 몰입형 기숙체육 프로그램 경험에 따른 사회성의 차이는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있다. 신뢰성, 자신감, 지도성, 근면성, 안전성, 사교성 모두 통계적 수치가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 몰입형 기숙체육 프로그램 경험에 따른 스트레스 대처방식의 차이는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없다. 셋째, 기숙체육프로그램 경험유무에 따른 스트레스 대처방식이 사회성에 부분적으로 유의한 영향을 치는 것으로 나타났다. 스트레스 대처방식의 하위요인 중 문제 중심은 지도성과 근면성에 정적 영향을 미쳤으며 소망적사고 대처는 신뢰성과 자율성에 정적영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

        스마트러닝 영어교육 프로그램 참여만족이 영어교육 신뢰, 영어교육 몰입 및 재수강의도에 미치는 영향

        This article is to find out the impact of participation satisfaction in smart learning English education program on English education program reliability, English education immersion and course-retaking intention. The study subjects are 201 high school students or higher level students who have applied for the programs which S communication corporation and C institute of English language have developed in collaboration. Referred to the surveyed materials frequency analysis and exploratory factor analysis was made by SPSSWIN Ver.17.0, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modelling analysis and their hypotheses by AMOS 17.0. The findings are as follows: First, participation satisfaction had a positive influence on English education program reliability. Second, participation satisfaction had an affirmative effect on English education program immersion. Third, participation satisfaction did not affect course-retaking intention. Fourth, English education program reliability was closely related with English education program immersion. Fifth, English education program reliability did not influence course-retaking intention. Finally, English education program immersion had a strong impact on course-retaking intention. (Kongju National University, Mokwon University)

        영어몰입학습 프로그램의 다면적 평가를 통한 목표의 재설정

        The purpose of this paper is to examine the overall effectiveness of the English immersion program of a Korean University. In order to achieve the ultimate purpose of the current project, researchers describe the educational principles and curriculum in detail and provide an overall evaluation of the program. The three-week English immersion program in winter 2008 was designed to help students satisfy their graduation requirement and improve their general English proficiency such as listening, reading and writing abilities, by providing them with an immersion English program. To check if there is any improvement after the program, students' achievement was measured by TOEIC both before and after the program. Students' responses from questionnaires were used to identify their needs and satisfaction toward the program. On the basis of the extensive evaluation of the program, it was found that students' needs are more complicated and a re-setting of the program goal is mandatory to reflect students' varied needs and wants as a better program in the future.

      • 원어민보조학습이 초등영어교육에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the EPIK (English Program In Korea) program and to analyze the effectiveness of the program. The research questions posed in this study were: (1) What is the effectiveness of the EPIK program on primary school children, and what type of instruction do the learners prefer? (2) What effectiveness can be found on the cooperative teaching with native English teachers, and the teacher training program by the native English teacher to the Korean English teachers? (3) How do the native English teachers evaluate the Korean teachers, students, and the teacher training program? Several steps were taken to supplement the literature background with empirical study: (1) The questionnaires were created based on literature review following Lickert standard after testing the validity of the questionnaire items. (2) The tested data were coded, edited, and reedited using a raw data editing program. (3) All data were analyzed by chi-square's test, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe using SPSS Win PC+. Main findings provided by this study were as follows : (1) The English class should be focused on the meaning rather than form and the Korean teachers should lead the English class in spite of the fluency and accuracy of the native teachers. (2) The Korean teachers who recognize the children's personality well have to charge the English class and a class of immersion program per school should be provided so that the need of parents and children may be accepted. (3) English training courses should be provided for Korean teachers, such as a one year program staying abroad, the English town experience, the immersion program, the exchange student program for teacher's college students majoring in English, the certifying system of communicative competence, and the primary English teacher program for the alternative of EPIK. (4) An English curriculum for cooperative teaching should be established and developed in order to improve the team teaching program of native teachers and Korean teachers. (5) It should be developed that the various English learning programs such as the exchange student programs abroad through sisterhood relationship or cyber learning with the English native teachers and students.

        영어부분몰입교육이 초등학생의 영어 학습과 정의적 요인에 미치는 영향

        In the field of English education for elementary school children, three kinds of problems have been raised, which are lack of learning time and vocabulary as well as connection between elementary and secondary school curricula. To solve these problems, this study adopts English partial immersion program in our elementary school curriculum. The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of English partial immersion program on elementary school children's English ability and its affective factors. A total of 18 children participated in this study and they were interviewed with pre- and post-test of 22 questions during one semester. The findings of this study reveal that English 4 skills of the group are greatly improved through English partial immersion program compared with pre-test. In addition to this, children report a high level of satisfaction with teaching and learning through English partial immersion program. Finally, several pedagogical implications are suggested.

        검도 TV중계프로그램 시청 후 검도참여자의 성취목표성향과 운동몰입 및 지속적 행동의도와의 관계 연구

        The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on the development of kumdo TV programs and kumdo sports by studying the relationship between the achievement target tendency of the participants of kumdo living sports after watching kumdo TV programs and the intention of continuous participation. The results of the study through data processing are as follows: First, after watching the kumdo TV program, the achievement-oriented sub-factor of the kumdo participant had a significant effect on both the sub-factors of exercise immersion. Second, after watching the kumdo TV program, the achievement-oriented sub-factor of the kumdo participant had a significant effect on both the sub-factors of the continuous behavior. Third, the sub-factor of kumdo participants' exercise immersion after watching the kumdo TV program had a significant effect on both the sub-factors of continuous behavior. The conclusion of this study is that by watching a kendo TV program, participants are judged to have a significant effect on motor immersion. However, since there is still a shortage of kumdo TV programs, it is necessary to broadcast the kumdo games on TV in more competitions and draw the audience of the kumdo participants. 이 연구는 검도 TV중계프로그램 시청 후 검도 생활체육 참여자들의 성취목표성향과 운동몰입 및 지속적 참여의도와의 관계를 연구하여 검도 TV중계프로그램과 검도 생활체육 발전에 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 자료처리를 통한 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 째, 검도 TV중계프로그램을 시청 후 검도참여자의 성취목표성향의 하위요인은 운동몰입의 하위요인에 모두 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘 째, 검도 TV중계프로그램을 시청 후 검도참여자의 성취목표성향의 하위요인은 지속적 행동의도의 하위요인에 모두 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋 째, 검도 TV중계프로그램을 시청 후 검도참여자의 운동몰입의 하위요인은 지속적 행동의도의 하위요인에 모두 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 이 연구의 결론에 따라 검도 TV중계프로그램을 시청함으로써 참여자가 자신의 성취목표성향이 운동몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단된다. 하지만 아직 검도 TV중계프로그램이 많이 부족하기 때문에 더 많은 대회에서 검도경기를 TV로 중계방송 해주면서 검도참여자들의 시청을 이끌어낼 필요성이 있다고 판단된다. 또한, 검도참여자 스스로가 목표를 달성하기 위해서는 개인의 수준을 알고 정확한 목표 설정이 중요하며, 더욱 운동에 몰입하게 되어 지속적으로 검도에 흥미를 느끼고 긍정적인 마음으로 검도를 수련하는 것이 중요하다고 판단된다.

      • 심리운동 프로그램이 발달지체유아의 놀이성에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of psychomotor program on playfulness of young children with developmental delay. For this study, psychomotor program, which is a mediation tool. was applied to the 14 young children with developmental delay who are in the special child care center for the disabled, 40 minutes per session, 16 times in total. And a maintenance period of 2 weeks was performed. Through pre and post test by using the Children's Playfulness Rating Scale (CPRS) developed by Kim Myung-sun, Kim Kil-sook and Park Chan-hwa(2012), the researcher looked at the change of pre and post playfulness of experimental group and control group, and pre and post change of leading participation, cognitive flexibility, expression of joy voluntary full immersion that are sub-factors of playfulness. The results of this research are as follows: First, as a result of analysis of playfulness of experimental group and control group before and after the psychomotor program, the psychomotor program appeared to have a positive effect on the playfulness of the young children, from the playfulness of experimental group young children was seen as improved. Second, as a result of analysis of sub-factors of playfulness of experimental group and control group before and after the psychomotor program, the psychomotor program appeared to have a positive effect on sub-factors of playfulness of young children with developmental delay, from the sub-factors of playfulness of experimental group young children were seen as improved in four factors, that is, leading participation, cognitive flexibility, expression of joy voluntary full immersion. In conclusion, psychomotor program that takes into consideration an experience-oriented program and the characteristics that favor physical movement play of young children with developmental delay is potential power to play by deriving inner motivation and spontaneity of young children with developmental delay, and it suggests to have a positive effect on the playfulness which is qualitative characteristics of play. 본 연구에서는 심리운동 프로그램이 발달지체유아의 놀이성에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이있다. 본 연구를 위하여 장애전문 어린이집에 재원 하는 발달지체유아 14명을 대상으로 중재도구인심리운동 프로그램을 회기 당 40분, 총 16회 적용하였고, 2주 후 유지기 2회를 실시하였다. 김명순, 김길숙, 박찬화(2012)가 개발한 유아의 놀이성 평정척도 CPRS(Children's Playfulness Rating Scale)로 사전, 사후 검사를 통해 실험집단과 통제집단의 사전, 사후의 놀이성의 변화와 놀이성의 하위요인인 주도적 참여, 인지적 융통성, 즐거움의 표현, 자발적 몰입의 사전, 사후의 변화를 알아보았다. 그 결과, 심리운동 프로그램은 발달지체유아의 놀이성 향상에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 놀이성의 하위요인인 주도적 참여, 인지적 융통성, 즐거움의 표현, 자발적 몰입에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 체험위주의 프로그램과 발달지체유아의 신체적 움직임 놀이를 선호하는 특성을 고려한 심리운동 프로그램은 발달지체유아의 내적인 동기와 자발성을 이끌어 내어‘놀이를 할 수 있는 잠재적인 힘이며, 놀이의 질적 특성’인 놀이성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는점을 시사한다.

        논문(論文) : 집중 중국어 연수 교육과정 설계 사례분석 -고려대학교 KU-China Global Leadership Program을 예로-

        This essay have analyzed the curriculum design of KU-China Global Leadership Program(KUCGL). This program is designed to elevate Chinese language skills synthetically through a intensive short term course, to expand students` diverse interest in China, and to strengthen their basis of language for the related field in the future. This article describes objects, peculiar features and distinctiveness of this program and reviews achievements and questions of this program. Designers and operators of this program carried out effective instruction suitable for the educational aims of this program. At the same time, they maintained consistency and continuity of the course between Korea University and Renmin University. The survey shows that most of the participants were highly satisfied with the language curriculum of this program but lots of higher level students required more selective and intensive course according to language skills. Thus, it seems to be necessary to consider subdividing the courses and teaching materials into several segment according to student`s level and requirements at the next cycle.

        초등 KSL 초급 학습자 대상 모어 교수자활용 수학 교과 적응 프로그램의 효과성-후기 이머전 프로그램을 응용한 운영 사례를 중심으로-

        이 연구는 공교육 내 KSL 학습자가 낮은 한국어 능력으로 인한 교과 학습결손이 누적되고 있음에 주목하고, 교과 학습 적응을 위한 효과적인 방안을 모색하는 데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 학령기 중 한국에 이주한 KSL 학습자의 특성을 고려하여 국외 교육과정 분석을 통한 사전지식을 활성화하고, 학습 내용결손을 최소화하면서 목표어인 한국어 기반의 교과 학습의 학업성취도를 상승시키기 위한 일환으로서 제1언어-제2언어(한국어) 이머전 프로그램을 구안하였다. 이 프로그램에서는 학습 접근성과 우선적인 요구가 있는 수학 교과를 선택하여학습 어휘집과 교재 개발, 이중언어강사(모어 교수자)의 교수-학습으로 연계된프로그램을 개발⋅운영하였다. 이 프로그램은 2023년 한국어학급이 신설된 한 초등학교의 KSL 학습자를 대상으로 4월 말부터 12월 말까지 시행되었으며, 본연구를 통해 프로그램 운영의 효과성을 검증해 보았다. 그 결과 학습자들의 프로그램 참여 전후의 평가에서 성취도의 차이가 유의하게 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 KSL 학습자의 낮은 한국어 수준이 교과 학습 참여와 학업적능력 향상에 한계가 되지 않도록 하는 교육적 방안을 제언하였다. This study aims to highlight the accumulation of curricular learningdeficits among KSL learners in public education due to their lowKorean language proficiency and to explore effective measures forcurricular learning adaptation. To this end, considering the characteristicsof KSL learners who migrated to Korea during school age, a Russian(L1)-Korean(L2) late immersion program was designed to activate priorknowledge through an analysis of the foreign curriculum and to improveacademic achievement in the Korean-based curriculum while minimizinglearning content deficits. In this program, we selected mathematicssubjects with high learning accessibility and priority needs, anddeveloped and operated a program linked to the development oflearning vocabulary, teaching materials, and teaching and learning bybilingual instructors (mother tongue instructors). The program wasimplemented from the end of April to the end of December for KSLlearners at Elementary School A, where a Korean language class wasnewly established in 2023, and this study examined the effectiveness ofthe program. The results showed a statistically significant difference in learners’ achievement on the pre- and post-program assessments. Theresults suggest educational implications to ensure that KSL learners’low level of Korean does not become a barrier to their participation incurricular learning and academic performance.
