        병원의 다인병실 환경개선에 관한 연구

        The existing six-bed patient rooms, general type of multiple-bed rooms in Korea causes many problems for the amenity of patients. We should reconsider their inconvenience carefully and try to provide the right to keep their privacy and enjoy amenity. The number of patients of multi-bed rooms is very critical point to improve the environmental condition of the patient rooms. So This paper aims to provide the possibilities of four-bed rooms through the comparison and analysis of six and four-bed room for planning and design.

        다인병실 입원환자의 성별에 따른 프라이버시 특성 연구

        This study aims to find gender differences in inpatients’ privacy and stress concerns in multi-bed hospital room. In the literature review, we consider the characteristics of multi-bed hospital room and patients’ privacy as a psychological environment factor. In the survey research, the questionnaires were used to understand the inpatients’ general characteristics and privacy requirements. A total of 109 copies were analyzed through a cross-tabulations and T-test using the SPSS 18.0. Results and conclusions are as follows: (1) In the case of multi-bed room patients, there were some gender differences in privacy and stress, but the differences were limited. (2) There is a difference in the patient 's preference of the hospital room according to gender, and this is related to the privacy characteristic. (3) The social communication and strolling are commonly effective stress relief methods for both men and women, so space is needed to do this methods. The meaning of this study is to specify the privacy and stress of the inpatients in multi-bed patients’ room. 대부분의 한국 병원들은 남녀를 구분하여 다인병실을 운영하고 있고, 프라이버시에 대한 인식과 스트레스 정도는 성별에 따라 다르게 나타난다. 이러한 배경에서 본 연구는 다인병실 입원환자의 프라이버시와 스트레스 특성을 성별에 따라 구체화하여 다인병실 환경을 개선하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다. 다인병실 입원환자의 프라이버시 특성에 대한 고찰을 바탕으로, 조사연구를 실시하여 입원환자들의 프라이버시 특성과 요구를 분석하였다. 총 109부를 분석에 사용하였고, SPSS를 이용하여 교차분석과 T-검증을 실시하였다. 연구의 결과 및 결론은 다음과 같다. (1) 입원환자들의 경우, 성별에 따라 프라이버시 인식과 스트레스 수준에 차이가 일부 나타났으나, 그 차이는 제한적이었다. (2) 성별에 따라 입원환자들의 병실 선호에 차이가 나타났고, 이는 프라이버시 특성과 관련이 있었다. (3) 남녀 모두에게 사회적 소통과 가벼운 산책은 효과적은 스트레스 해소 방법이 되므로 이를 지원할 수 있는 공간 계획이 필요하다. 본 연구는 성별에 따라 다인병실 입원환자들의 프라이버시 및 스트레스, 병실 선호 등에 차이가 있음을 확인하고 이를 구체화하여 다인병실 계획 방향을 제시한 것에 의의가 있다.

        다인병실에서 이용되는 방사선원의 종류에 따른 공간선량률 분석

        의료 방사선은 환자의 진단 및 치료를 함에 있어 중대한 이득을 제공하지만 주변인에게 불필요한 피폭을 발생시킨다. 이에 본 연구에서는 환자와 일반인이 같은 공간 내 상주하는 다인 병실에 대해 선원항의 종류에 따른 공간선량률을 분석하고자 하였다. 실험은 몬테카를로 모의모사(MCNPX)를 이용하였으며, 선원항은 전신 뼈검사 환자와 이동형 X선 발생장치를 모사하였다. 실험결과 전신 뼈검사 환자의 측면 병상 위치에서 약 3.46 μSv/hr의 선량이 나타났으며, 이동형 X선 발생장치를 이용한 실험 결과, 흉부검사 시 측면 병상 위치에서 1.47 × 10 -8 μSv/irradiation, 복부검사 시 측면 병상 위치에서 2.97 × 10 -8 μSv /irradiation 값이 나타났다. 이처럼 다인병실에서는 주변 환자에게 불필요한 방사선을 발생시키며, 국내의 미흡한 다인 병실의 방사선에 대한 법적인 규제 및 체계적인 차폐 방안이 마련되어져야 할 것이다. Medical radiation offers significant benefits in diagnosing and treating patients, but it also generates un-necessary radiation exposure to those nearby. Accordingly, the objective of the present study was to ana-lyze spatial dose rate according to types of radiation source term in multi-bed hospital rooms occupied by patients and general public. MCNPX was used for geometric simulation of multi-bed hospital rooms and radiation source terms, while the radiation source terms were established as whole body bone scan patients and imaging using a portable X-ray generator. The results of simulation on whole body bone scan patients showed 3.46 μSv/hr to another patient po-sition, while experimental results on imaging using a portable X-ray generator showed 1.47 × 10 -8 μSv/ir-radiation to another patient position in chest imaging and 2.97 × 10 -8 μSv/irradiation to another patient position in abdomen imaging. Multi-bed hospital room, unnecessary radiation generated in the surrounding patients, while legal regu-lations and systematic measures are needed for radiation exposure in multi-bed hospital rooms that are currently lacking in Korea.

        창의 형태 및 차양 계획에 따른 다인 병실의 에너지소비량과 주광조도의 평가 및 분석

        Window and shading designs have a great influence on energy consumption and daylighting in buildings. As far as energy is concerned, small window area is advantageous. But it is not good to the patient healing in hospital. So it is important to find out the optimum window shape which is favorable for both energy consumption and patient healing. In this study, annual energy consumption and daylight illumination levels were analyzed according to the window shapes and shading devices for a multi-beded patient room in hospitals. The simulations were conducted for 19 different cases by COMFEN 4.0 computer simulation program. The results of this paper are as follows. First, window to wall area ratio and shading devices have great influences on annual energy consumption. But it is a problem in that they decrease significantly daylight level in bed room. Second, considering the same energy consumption, reducing the width of window rather than the hight of window is desirable for the secure of daylight level. Third, increase of the number of horizontal shade is not desirable in south face of the building for the energy consumption and daylight level. Fourth, sun shade is not necessary in north face of the building for the energy consumption and daylight level.

        1945년 이후 한국병원건축 병동부의 변화

        Purpose: This paper aimis to analyze the characteristics of ward plan of Korean hospital architecture constructed in each periods and identify the change since 1945. Methods: Literature review was conducted while ward plans for analysis were sellected. And then the important points of ward design were analyzed in each periods. Results: The important points of ward design - type of corridor in ward plan, number of beds per nursing unit, location of nurse station, organization of multi-bed rooms, location of patient toilet, number of day room, concentration and separation of elevator halls for patient and general- were analyzed and the characteristics of change were identified in each periods. Implications: This paper could be a basic data for arranging the history of hospital architecture in Korea
