        2022학년도 작업치료(학)과 신입생의 학과 결정에 관한 연구

        Purpose : This study aimed to identify factors that influence selection of occupational therapy as a college major by freshmen. Methods : A survey was conducted on 308 freshmen majoring in occupational therapy from March 2022 to September 2022. The questionnaire consisted of five items about general characteristics, two about the choice of college and major, three about the timing of major selection, three about information acquisition, and one about the university application process. Results : While choosing a university, 37% of the students primarily considered the available choice of majors, whereas 41% considered the college application period. Employment rate was another important factor that was considered when choosing a department. Most students learned about occupational therapy through research on physical therapy and primarily gathered information by searching on “Naver and blogs.” Among the descriptions of occupational therapy, the most interesting keyword was “hospital” (54 %). Conclusion : This study investigated the factors that influenced the college major selection by new students in the department of occupational therapy. This study provides meaningful basic data that can be referred to when promoting the department of occupational therapy. A limitation of this study is that a high percentage of students from Gyeongnam were included, and hence, further research that investigates according to region is needed. Moreover, detailed investigations on factors related to university applications in each region are required. It is also necessary to investigate the relationship between the characteristics of freshmen and the determining factors of the department and the admission process.

        일부 작업치료(학)과 재학생의 근거기반임상 역량과 문제해결능력의 상관관계

        본 연구는 작업치료(학)과 재학생의 근거기반임상(evidence-based practice: EBP) 역량과 문제해결능력을 각각 알아보고, 상관관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 2020년 1월 7일부터 1월 22일까지 충청도와 경상도 지역의 4개 대학교의 작업치료(학)과 재학생 총 86명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. EBP에 대한 태도를 살펴본 결과, 평균이 가장 높은 응답을 보인 문항은 ‘EBP는 전문성에 긍정적인 영향을 준다’ 이었고, 다음 순은 ‘연구는 작업치료 전문성의 기본이다’이었다. 평균이 낮은 문항은 ‘임상에서 근거사용에 있어 시간과 노력에 대한 부담이 있다’이었다. EBP의 지식/기술에서 가장 평균점수가 높은 문항은 ‘연구논문에 대한 전자검색을 사용하여 연구정보검색을 잘 할 수 있다’이었다. 문제해결능력 중 평균적으로 가장 높은 행동의 빈도를 보인 영역은 피드백으로 3.96±0.64점이었고, 가장 낮은 점수를 보인 것은 확산적 사고로 3.46±0.67점이었다. EBP의 역량과 문제해결능력은 중간의 상관관계를 보였다. 본 연구를 통해 작업치료(학)과 재학생의 EBP에 대한 현황을 제시하고, 앞으로의 교육과정의 방향을 제시하는데 도움이 되기를 기대한다. The purpose of this study was to explore and analyze the correlation between evidence-based practice (EBP) capabilities and the problem-solving skills of students in the department of occupational therapy. The participants of the study were 86 students in the department of occupational therapy at universities in Chungcheong-do and Gyeongsang-do. The research period was from January 7 to 22nd, 2020, and an online survey methodology was used. As a result of the analysis of the attitude toward EBP, the highest average response was "EBP has a positive impact on professionalism." The lowest average response was "There is a burden of time and effort on the use of evidence in clinical practice." The response with the highest average score in the EBP"s knowledge/skills was "I can do research information search well by using electronic search for articles.". The area with the highest average score of problem-solving ability was 3.96±0.64 points for "feedback". EBP capacity and problem-solving ability had moderate correlation. The results of this study will help present the current status of the EBP capabilities of students in the department of occupational therapy and provide directions for future curricula.

        국내 작업치료(학)과 대학생들의 현황 및 인식도 조사연구 I : 일반적 현황 및 전공선택 요인을 중심으로

        목적 : 작업치료(학)과 학생들의 일반적 현황과 전공선택 요인들에 대해 살펴보고, 일반적 현황에 따른 전공선택 요인, 작업치료(학)과 학생들의 관심 분야, 관심 취업영역, 국시불안 및 진로 확신에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 작업치료(학)과가 개설된 4년제 대학 9개 학교, 3년제 대학 10개 학교의 총 4,500명의 재학생을 모집단으로 구조화된 설문을 실시하였으며, 1,329명의 응답을 최종분석에 사용하였다. 결과 : 학과 선택시 작업치료(학)과 이외의 학과에 진학을 희망했던 응답자가 831명(62.5%), 입학 후에 소속변경 등 전공 변경을 희망한 응답자는 588명(44.2%)이였다. 학과를 선택하게 된 계기는 추천에 의한 선택이 675명(50.8%), 스스로 선택이 654명(49.2%)였고, 추천에 의한 경우는 부모님, 학교 선생님이 가장 많았으며, 추천 이유는 취업, 전문직이기 때문으로 나타났다. 스스로 선택한 경우에 주로 정보를 얻은 방법은 인터넷이 419명(64.0%)로 나타났다. 응답자들의 현재 관심 취업영역과 10년 후 의망 취업영은 의료기관 취업으로 동일하게 조사 되었다. 현재 작업치료(학)과 학부생들은 5점 만점에 평균 3.54점으로 보통 이상의 국시불안감을 느끼고 있었고, 이는 남자 학부생들에게서 더 높았다. 또한 진학확신은 입학 전보다 현재가 더 낮았으며, 1학년의 진학확신이 가장 낮았고, 학년이 올라갈수록 점점 높게 나타났다. 결론 : 본 연구는 작업치료(학)과에 대한 확신과 진로 결정에 대한 만족도를 높이고 추후 작업치료(학)과의 교육 개선을 위한 기초자료를 마련했다는데 의미를 부여할 수 있다. Objective : The purpose of this study was to examine (1) the general characteristics and factors related to choosing occupational therapy as their academic major in a nationwide sample of college students and (2) ifferences in major selection factors, interested area of occupational therapy, and preferences in career field across main student characteristics such as gender and year in college, in addition to anxiety related to the national licensure examination and career confidence level. Methods : A survey was provided to 4,500 students from nine 4-year colleges and ten 3-year colleges. A total of 1,329 surveys were analyzed in the final analysis. Results : A total of 831(62.5%) students responded that they had considered other majors before choosing occupational therapy, 588(44.2%) contemplated changing their major after entering college. 675(50.8%) chose occupational therapy major secondary to recommendation from others, and 654(49.2%) self-selected the major. Most of the recommendations were found to be made by parents and teachers, and the primary reasons for such recommendations were related to the high employment potential and the prospect of working as a professional specialist. Among students who picked their major on their own, 419(64.0%) students obtained information through the internet. Respondents’current and 10-year post-graduation preferred area of employment to work in a medical setting as an occupational therapist. The students’current level of anxiety pertaining to the licensure examination was found to be 3.5 on a 5-point scale, with male students showing a higher anxiety level. It was also found that the current degree of confidence regarding their career had decreased since entering college. Freshmen undergraduates reported the lowest career confidence level, with their confidence increasing with year in college. Conclusions : The results of the present study indicate potential ways in which departments in occupational therapy may promote their academic majors, in addition to contributing to our knowledge regarding ways to provide better academic as well as career counseling and guidance to students in occupational therapy.

        일 대학 작업치료학과 학생의 학과선택 시기에 따른 전공만족도, 대학생활적응, 자아존중감, 진로정체감의 차이

        본 연구는 작업치료학과 학생들의 학과선택 시기에 따른 전공만족도, 대학생활적응, 자아존중감 및 진로 정체감의 차이를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 22를 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계량, 카이제곱 겁정, 분산분석을 실시하였다. 학과선택 시기에 따라 전공만족도와 진로정체감은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 학과 선택 시기가 빠른 경우(고등학교 재학 중)에 그렇지 않은 경우(대입원서 접수 전, 대입 원서 접수기간)보다 전공만족도와 진로정체감이 높게 나타났다. 따라서 대학 진학 후 효율적인 생활지도 및 진로지 도를 위해서는 작업치료학과의 특징이 융합된 진로 프로그램이 필요하다고 사료된다. The purpose of this study is to examine the differences between major satisfaction, university life adjustment, self-esteem, career identity according to the time of department selection of students in the department of occupational therapy. Frequencies, descriptive statistics, chi-square test, ANOVA was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 22. The major satisfaction and career identity have statistically significant difference according to the time of department selection. As the time of department selection was earlier(in high school), major satisfaction and career identity turned out to be higher than other times(before application period or application period). Thus, in order to effective life guidance and career guidance for the students in the department of occupational therapy after admission, the carrer programs that convergent the characteristics of the department of occupational therapy are needed.

        전국 작업치료과 대학생들의 학과선택기준과 대학생활에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to establish marketing strategy and efficiency management of the department of occupational therapy in the University and College. The subject population included 890 students from six college and five university in National area. Data were collected through a survey questionnaire in a period from April 5 to May 5, 2001. The results are as follows: 1. It appeared that regarding criteria for selection of college by among students’ in the University and College, two type of college (University and College) were motivation of job obtain. 2. It appeared that regarding satisfaction of college life, University students are more satisfied than college students. Also it appeared that regarding satisfaction of department’s operation and environment of educations, University students are more satisfied than college students. 3. The opinion of development in the college setting efforts to develop of field-based learning curriculum. Also, in the university setting to obtain of able professor.

      • 작업치료과 대학생의 학교생활 만족도에 따른 학업성취도 연구

        본 연구는 작업치료학 전공 대학생의 학교생활의 만족도가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 실시하였다(알아보고자 하였다). 경상북도 소재 대학에서 작업치료학을 전공하고 있는 1학년 32명의 학생을 대상으로 실시하였다. 대학생활적응검사Ⅰ(Student Adjustment TestⅠ)을 실시하였고, 학업성취도는 교양 과목을 제외한 1학기 성적을 T점수로 변환하여 사용하였다. 대학생활적응검사Ⅰ의 시행 결과 32명의 대상자 중 저위험군 10명(31.3%), 중위험군 11명(34.4%), 고위험군 12명(34.4%)으로 분류되었다. 대학생활적응검사Ⅰ의 6개영역 중 전공진로 확신에 따른 집단이 학업성취도에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 전공진로에 대한 확신 영역을 제외한 6개영역은 학업성취도에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다. 학교생활의 만족도가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과 전공진로에 대한 확신이 학업성취도에 영향을 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the School Life Satisfaction impact on the academic achievements of students who major in occupational therapy. The subjects in this study were dept. of occupational therapy 32 students of a college in Gyeongsangbuk-do. The Student Adjustment TestⅠ was performed, converted to T scores using the first semester grades, except for the liberal arts, in order to ensure academic achievement. The results of the study were as follows. The results of The Student Adjustment TestⅠ were classified as 10(31.3%) in low-risk group, 11(34.4%) in intermediate-risk group, and 12(34.4%) in high-risk group. In Groups according to the confident career majors, there was a significant difference in the academic achievements. And, in the other parts, there was no obvious statistical difference. The analysis of "how school satisfaction impacts on academic achievements" shows that the confidence in the majors for career affects positively on students academic achievements.

        작업치료(학)과 학생들의 임상실습 경험과 변화에 대한 현상학적 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 작업치료(학)과 학생들이 임상실습 동안 경험한 것을 알아보고, 임상실습이 개인의 가치관과 행동 변화에 어떠한 영향을 주었는지 파악하고자 한다. 임상실습기간 동안 경험한 것을 알아보기 위해 4명의 대상자들과 심층 면담을 하였다. 면담의 내용은 녹음하였고, 반복 청취하여 현상학적 연구 방법의 절차에 따라 의미를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 14개의 중심의미와 5개의 주제를 도출하였다. 주제는 심리적 경험, 환경적 경험, 전문적 경험, 가치관 변화, 행동적 변화이었다. 본 연구의 결과는 치료현장에서 작업치료사들이 적절한 방향으로 임상실습 지도를 하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 보인다. The purpose of this study was to explore experiences of students during clinical fieldwork. The data were collected through in-depth interviews of 4 students who were participated in clinical fieldwork of occupational therapy. The collected information was analyzed through phenomenological theory approaches. Results were 14 concepts and 5 themas. The themas were psychology that experienced in clinical fieldwork, environmental experience, professional experience, change of value and behavioral change. This study will provide good information about clinical fieldwork education for therapists.

        숏폼 비디오 제작을 활용한 실습 활동이 작업치료전공자의 학습만족도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to find out the satisfaction with learning after applying short-form video production activities to clinical practice subjects targeting rehabilitation majors in the health department. The study was conducted during the first semester of 2023 and was conducted with 37 second-year students majoring in rehabilitation of health department (occupational therapy department). In each class, theory and practice classes were combined and from the 2nd to 7th weeks (period A), the traditional practice method with question and answer and supervision was used and from the 9th to 14th week (period B), Q&A and short-form video production were used. As a result, female students accounted for 76.7% of the gender and the average age was 21.43±.90 years. Students answered that the professor's handout was the most useful as a learning material and their preferred learning type was taking notes while listening to offline lectures. When asked if extra activities were needed after practice, 93.3% of students answered “yes”. Also, when participating in practice using short-form video production, satisfaction with the amount of class, Q&A with the instructor, communication with classmates, satisfaction with the learning plan and confidence in independent learning were higher in satisfaction. Therefore, it is more effective to provide learners with tasks similar to short-form video production after hands-on activities.

        작업치료(학)과 대학생의 전공 관련 경험이 학제별 자기효능감과 학과 만족도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of major-related experiences on self-efficacy and department satisfaction among students majoring in occupational therapy by the school system. The survey was conducted online, and a total of 211 data were analyzed. A frequency analysis, independent t-test, and hierarchical regression were conducted for the analysis. There was no difference in self-efficacy between the academic system, and it was found that the 3-year system without practice experience was significantly higher. The subject's department satisfaction was significantly higher in the 4-year system than in the 3-year system, and in the subjects of the 4-year system without practice experience. It was confirmed that the number one factor affecting self-efficacy(total: practice satisfaction, 3-year: department satisfaction, 4-year: volunteering commitment) and department satisfaction(total: volunteering commitment, 3-year: self-efficacy, 4-year: practice experience) differs according to the academic system. Therefore, it is expected that it will be helpful in improving professionalism through student-centered education considering the school system and major-related experiences.

        고령자와 고령친화산업에 대한 대학생들의 인식도: 작업치료학과 대상

        연구목적 : 고령화 시대에 맞추어 고령 친화산업의 전문 인력이 될 작업치료학과 학생들의 일반적 특성 변인에 따른 고령 친화산업 및 고령자 인식에 대한 연구를 통하여 고령 친화산업의 활성화 및 발전을 기여하고자 한다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 2020년 3월 20일부터 4월 20일까지 부산⋅울산광역시⋅경남⋅경북 소재 작업치료학과에 재학 중인 학생 136명을 대상으로 고령 친화산업 및 고령자에 대한 인식도를 파악하기 위한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 대상자의 일반적 특성 8문항, 고령자와 고령 친화산업의 인식도는 각각 10문항으로 구성되었다. 연구결과 : 작업치료학과 학생들의 고령자의 인식 내용에서 심리적 영역, 신체적 영역 모두 긍정적인 인식을 보여 주었으나, 가족관계 영역에서 3.0 이하의 낮은 점수의 결과를 보였다. 그리고 학생들의 개인적 변인(고령자의 유무, 고령 친화 서비스 이용 유무, 임상실습)에 따른 고령자 인식도 긍정적으로 보였다. 하지만, 임상실습과 고령자의 인식은 차이가 없었다. 고령 친화산업의 전망과 교육 및 필요성에서 긍정적인 응답을 보였다. 결론 : 본 연구는 작업치료학과 학생들의 개인적 변인에 따른 고령자에 대한 인식 차이를 파악하였다. 또한, 고령 친화산업의 필요성 및 활성화에 대한 가능성을 보았으며, 향후 작업치료사의 역할과 전망에 대한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다. Objective : It aims to contribute to the vitalization and development of the aged-friendly industry through research on the perception of the aged-friendly industry and the elderly according to the general characteristics of students in occupational therapy departments who will become professionals in the aged-friendly industry in line with the aging era. Methods : This study conducted a questionnaire survey for 136 students enrolled in the Department of Occupational Therapy in Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam, and Gyeongbuk from March 20 to April 20, 2020 to understand the perception of the elderly-friendly industry and the elderly. Implemented. General characteristics of the subjects 8 questions, the recognition of the elderly and aging-friendly industry was consisted of 10 questions, respectively. Results : Occupational therapy students showed positive perceptions in both the psychological and physical areas of the elderly s perceptions, but showed a low score of 3.0 or less in the family relations area. In addition, the perception of other senior citizens was also positive in the students personal variables (whether there is an elderly person, use of aged-friendly services, clinical practice). However, there was no difference between clinical practice and perception of the elderly. Positive responses were shown in the outlook, education, and necessity of the aged-friendly industry. Conclusion : This study investigated differences in perception of the elderly according to individual variables of occupational therapy students. In addition, we have seen the necessity and the possibility of revitalization of the aged-friendly industry, and intend to use it as basic data for the future role and prospect of occupational therapists.
