        군산시 섬 관광상품의 경쟁력을 위한 MICE 산업 활용 전략 - 섬 여행박람회 개최를 중심으로 -

        본 연구의 목적은 군산시의 섬 관광상품을 효과적으로 홍보하기 위한 방안으로 MICE 산업의 활용방안에 대한 제안을 하였다. 군산시가 보유한 섬 관련 해양생태관광 자원과 역사문화관광콘텐츠를 활용해 섬 관광 발전과 성공적인 MICE 도시를 구축할 수 있는 ‘섬 여행박람회’ 개최를 제안하였다. 이를 위해 국내에서 개최된 여러 여행박람회를 중심으로 MICE 개최 현황을 고찰하였다. 또한 홍보수단으로서 섬 여행박람회 개최에 대한 논의를 하였다. 마지막으로 군산시의 섬 관광상품에 대한 논의를 통하여 섬 여행박람회를 통한 섬 관광상품의 활성화 방안을 탐색하였다. 본 연구 결과, 군산시가 MICE 산업을 활용하여 군산시 섬 관광상품을 효과적으로 홍보하는 방안이 필요함을 알 수 있다. 섬과 관련된 여행박람회의 개최가 군산시의 MICE 산업을 활성화하고 이것이 군산지역 경제 활성화와 국토균형발전에 기여할 수 있다는 점을 집중적으로 분석하였다. 이를 통해 두 가지의 군산시 섬 관광상품 경쟁력 강화 전략을 제시하였다. 첫째, 군산시의 풍부한 섬 관광상품과 섬 관련 해양관광콘텐츠를 효과적으로 홍보하기 위해 ‘2012 여수세계박람회’의 성공적 개최를 벤치마킹할 필요성이 존재한다는 점이다. 둘째, 군산시가 지닌 섬 관광상품과 섬 관련 해양관광콘텐츠와 관련된 ‘섬 여행박람회’ 개최뿐만 아니라 관련 MICE행사를 지속하여 개최해야 한다. 이를 통해 향후 군산시가 섬 관련 MICE 산업 도시로 전환 성장할 기회를 만들어야 한다. 이는 군산시의 MICE 관련 제도와 시스템의 현대화 이외에도 추가로 섬 관련 MICE행사를 지속하여 개최하는 등의 노력이 필요하다.

        MICE산업을 활용한 인천지역 섬 관광 콘텐츠 홍보방안

        This study reviewed the literature to effectively promote the tourism contents of islands in the Incheon area by utilizing the MICE industry. In particular, this study has significance in that it promoted tourism on the islands of Incheon in connection with the tourism promotion and MICE industry with the characteristics of the new media, which has been in the spotlight recently. In March 2012, CNN, the largest media outlet in the United States, selected 33 beautiful islands from around the world. Five Incheon Islands-Seonjaedo Island(1st place), Deokjeokdo Island(6th place), Ganghwado Island(8th place), Baeknyeongdo Island(21st place) and Palmido Island(29th place) were selected. This means that Incheon’s islands have abundant tourism contents. In terms of having some of the world's top tidal flats, outstanding natural scenery, and historical and culturally important assets, the potential for tourism development in Incheon is quite high. Therefore, this study revisited the value of 168 islands in the Incheon area and devised a plan to promote sustainable island tourism based on the various resources and characteristics of the islands. To this end, a plan to utilize the MICE industry, which is rapidly growing as a new medium, has been proposed as a publicity plan for tourism contents on the islands in the Incheon area. As a result, first, it was proposed to hold an island tourism promotion MICE that utilizes information and communication technologies of the fourth industrial revolution such as hybrid MICE, Blockchain MICE, and VR/AR/MR MICE. Second, publicity was presented through the exhibition and expo events related to Incheon’s islands’ tourism contents. Third, a plan to promote the tourism contents of the islands linked to the MICE industry by using the off-season of the island area was suggested. Through this, the city of Incheon also presented contents for attracting tourists to the islands of Incheon and promoting the convenience to tourists while also promoting general island tourism in the locale. It was suggested that the MICE industry should be used based on the broad concept of tourism, including tourism advertisements, personal sales, tourism publicity, tourism sales promotion activities, and island tourism content guide services provided to them. This pointed out that it is necessary to promote the tourism of islands in Incheon for each characteristic by utilizing the island tourism exhibition and expo, incentive tours, international conferences, and mega events.

        제주 섬의 역사성과 복수성을 활용한 제주도 해양관광콘텐츠 개발방안 연구

        The purpose of this study is to explore the sustainable development of JejuIsland as an attractive marine tourism city. For this purpose, we will develop the contents of marine tourism using the historical and plural nature of Jeju Island. In order to positively examine these methods, a literature review was conducted focusing on secondary research articles such as research papers, periodicals, government documents and newspaper articles published in and outside the country. In this study, the definition of marine tourism contents is defined as cultural tourism products that create economic value by incorporating cultural elements originating from creativity and imagination. Therefore, we would like to develop Jeju Island’s marine tourism contents utilizing the history and pluralism of the island. The policy was to expand the facilities, expertise, and support for high value-added cultural products and cultural industries in the fields of film, animation, music, video, game, multimedia, character, cartoon and digital contents. They also discussed that the cultural imagination inherent in itshould be exercised as a whole. Especially, Jeju Island’s creativity and imagination are needed for the prototype of marine culture contents. If we emphasize the historical and pluralism of Jeju Island, it will contribute to the creation of identity and public image. It will also be a marine tourism content that creates economic value. This study pointed out that Jeju Island marine tourism contents, which are represented by history and plurality, originated from the exploration of marine culture content prototypes. First, we must develop a culture prototype showing the history and pluralism of the exchange of people, culture, and materials. Second, it is necessary to develop transcontinental territoriality by discovering cultural prototypes showing internationality. Third, it is necessary to develop a city and a space filled with Korean history through the accumulation of multi-layered cultural circles. Especially, if Jeju Island becomes a sea port city, it will become a maritime tourism city filled with the historical and philosophical vision of the sea port city. In addition, ‘Nautical point of Eurasia maritime city network in the 21st century, Jeju’ rather than ‘Maritime advance base of the 21st century marine era, Jeju’ will come to be a future-oriented vision reflecting historical and pluralism. It is important to find a cultural content prototype that reveals the history, sexuality, internationality, and cultural hybridity of an exchange city Jeju. If imagination is added to this, it will become Jeju Island with vitality, and it will become a marine tourism content that creates economic value.

        문학공간의 장소성을 활용한 관광콘텐츠 개발에 관한 탐색적 연구 -제주지역 ‘바람타는 섬’을 중심으로-

        In the tourism industry, economic logic of space is actively introduced, and each country and local governments are striving to revitalize local tourism industry. Literary space is a content that can give new meaning to a unique characteristic or image of a place. In this study, the literary works met with tourist sites and discussed ways to become attractive tourism contents. It was confirmed through previous studies that the place can exhibit people’s desire to visit and satisfaction when the placeness of space is expressed. However, in order to change the contents to induce tourists’ interests, it is necessary to analyze the characteristics and elements of interest in each literary space. For this, it is necessary to construct data bases for literary spaces and to organize programs for interesting elements. Through this process, it is necessary to actually commercialize and verify the tourist contents of the novel “The Windy Island”. It is hoped that in the future, various attempts will be made to develop literary spaces as tourist contents through various research and verification.

        유튜브 채널 유형에 따른 섬 지역 관광 및 홍보 콘텐츠 특성과 시청자 반응 비교분석 - 울릉도, 통영, 여수, 제주도를 중심으로

        This study aims to compare and analyze the characteristics of local island tourism promotion content and viewer responses by comparing local government YouTube channels and ordinary vlog YouTubers. When local government YouTube operation results show up in various ways, analyzing difference in content characteristics and viewer response was necessary to produce practical tourism promotion content. Among the five major islands in Korea; Ulleungdo, Somaemuldo Island in Tongyeong, Sonjukdo Island in Yeosu, Jeju Island, and Hodo Island in Boryeong, Ulleungdo, Tongyeong, Yeosu and Jeju Island were selected as 4 places where the vlog YouTubers visited and vlog contents were created, and compared and analyzed the tourism promotion contents of the local government YouTube channels. An exploratory analysis was conducted on the number of subscribers of each YouTube channel, the number of views, the number of comments, content characteristics, and responses to each content. As a result of the analysis, tourism vlog contents showed ‘entertainment’, ‘information’, ‘vividity’, and ‘interaction’. The viewers responses were confirmed with ‘empathy’, ‘surrogate satisfaction’, ‘recommendation intention’, and ‘visit intention’. The tourism promotion contents of the local government YouTube channels showed ‘appearance’ and low ‘information’, and partially confirmed the low viewer responses with ‘surrogate satisfaction’, ‘recommendation intention’, and ‘visit intention’. Through this study, compared to vlog content for the general public, which has all the characteristics of the contents, it was confirmed that the problem of the tourism promotion content of the local government should have considered the other characteristics of the content. This study provides academic implications as data that can be used for future research and the effectiveness of local tourism promotion content production. This study helps to increase the effectiveness of local island tourism promotion content production for local government YouTube channels and improve ineffective content processing.
