유원희 ( You Won-hee ),서세진 ( Seo Se-jin ) 한국전통조경학회 2017 한국전통조경학회지 Vol.35 No.1
The Jeju Olle Trail Route No. 1 has opened in 2007, and over one million visitors per year trek total of 26 Olle trails throughout the island of Jeju as of 2017. The Olle trekking is one of eco-friendly tourism activities in the era of social issues with environmental collapse and threats. Up until now, studies on the Jeju Olle trail are focused on the visitors while the studies on residents who are the other major pillar of Jeju Olle trail have been limited. The study aims to compare the visit types, satisfaction level and pro-environmental behaviors between the visitors and residents on Jeju Olle trails. Total of 290 survey was collected in three month period from December, 2016 to February, 2017. The survey result indicates the Jeju residents trek the Jeju Olle in a larger group than the Jeju Olle visiting trekkers and show lower level in the visit satisfaction and pro-environmental behaviors. The noticeable lower level in the pro-environmental behaviors of residents can directly connect to the issue of Jeju environment as a whole, and the continuing environmental education program and promotion for residents to improve the pro-environmental behavior level is essential.

이웅규 ( Lee Woong-kyu ) 한국접경지역통일학회 2020 접경지역통일연구 Vol.4 No.1
The main purpose of this study is to develop a“ DMZ Road of Peace,”which was called the “Peace Trail.”First of all, this paper aims at theoretically considering the circumference of walking trails that are in the spotlight recently. Second, I would like to review the significance of DMZ peaceful tourism resource development and the history of development. Third, in relation to the development of the“ DMZ Peace Road,”the current status of the development of the existing Gyeonggi-do circumference will be analyzed. Through this, we will present problems and implications. In particular, I would like to focus on the perimeter roads of the currently used competition area that can be helpful for the purpose of this study. In the current situation, I would like to present a plan to safely develop the “DMZ Peace Road”and a feasible development plan that is not dominated by the political and military situation with North Korea. As a result of the research, first, a new organization was established to manage the ‘DMZ Peace Road’in Gyeonggi-do. Second, it is necessary to revise the ordinance that reflects the details specified in the “Ordinance on the Construction, Management and Operation of the Old Gyeonggi-do Road,”which was enacted in the past. Third, the master plan for Gyeonggi-do ‘DMZ Peace Road’and DMZ history, culture, ecology and tourism resources should be established. The tentative name is the enactment of the Ordinance on the Creation of‘ DMZ Peace Road’in Gyeonggido and management and operation support. Fourth, a comprehensive plan should be established every five years to create a “DMZ Road to Peace,” effective management and use. Lastly, the physical environment and facility expansion of the“ DMZ Road to Peace”centered on the DMZ historical, cultural and ecological tourism resources in Gyeonggi-do is necessary.
