본 연구는 대학에서 개설되어 있는 교양 음악수업을 포함한 교양수업의 의미론적 정립을 통해 지금까지 상대적으로 연구가 활발히 진행되지 않았던 대학 교양 음악수업의 21세기적 역할과 목적에 대해 고찰하고, 이를 최근 들어 재조명되고 있는 유의미한 교수 학습법인 통합적 접근(Integrated Approach)과 관련하여 논의해봄으로써 향후 대학 교양 음악교육의 발전 방향을 제시하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 통합적 접근은 전문적 지식 함양과 타 영역과의 통합에 따른 교육의 포괄적 성장을 도모하는 유의미한 교육 과정 설계 방법으로써 대학에서의 교양 음악교육의 목적에도 부합한다. 이러한 통합적 접근은 유아를 비롯한 초, 중등음악교육에서는 꾸준히 연구, 개발되어 실제 교육 현장에 다각적으로 적용되고 있으나 대학 음악교육과 관련해서는 그 연구조차 상대적으로 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 21세기적 대학 교양 음악수업의 교육적 의미와 역할을 다양한 문헌 연구를 통해 재확립하였고 통합적 접근 (Integrated Approach) 에 근거한 대학 교양음악 수업안을 제안해 봄으로써 향후 대학 교양 음악수업의 발전 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. The aim of this study is to investigate the role and concept of the music courses as undergraduate general education and to suggest the developmental direction in the 21st century. General education courses including music course have been opened in most Universities and its importance for undergraduate eduction as well for life-long education has been emphasized, especially in the 21 century, by most researchers. But of those, music courses have been comparatively rarely researched up- to -date. In the 21st century, are the words, ``Consilient``, ``Integration``, ``Convergence`` concerned in education world, either, So, various teaching and learning methods and educational approaches based on these concepts have been examined and suggested to all of the educational areas from primary through higher education Moreover these concepts can be a key to cultivate ``creative talents``, one of educational aims in the 21st century. These are more corresponded to the educational aim of the general arts education including music. In these reasons, the importance of undergraduate general art education is even more emphasized. Nevertheless, the research according to the undergraduate general music courses has not been actively studied. Therefore, this study re-established the role and aim of the undergraduate general music courses of the 21st century through researching diverse literatures according to undergraduate general education and suggested the developmental direction based on integrated approach newly concerned recently.

오늘날 창작되는 동요의 수가 크게 늘어나고, 새로운 경향의 동요에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 주요 방송사의 창작동요제들은 참신한 창작동요의 발굴과 보급에 크게 기여하고 있다. 하지만 새로 발표된 동요들은 수년 단위로 개편되는 음악교과서에 수록될 때까지 초등학교 현장에서 적극적으로 활용되지 못한다. 무엇보다도 발표된 동요들에 대한 학생들의 반응이 점검되고 있지않으며, 그것들을 지도할 방법에 대한 연구가 아직 축적되지 못하였다. 학생들에게 일방적으로 노래를 제공하는 수업을 지양하고, 음악교과의 취지를 살린 포괄적인 접근법으로 창작동요를 활용할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 대표적 창작동요제의 입상곡들에 대한 초등학생들의 호응 정도를 조사하여 그 현황을 파악하였다. 그리고 학생들의 반응과 노래의 유형을 고려하여 수업에 사용할 제재곡들을 선정하고, 그것들을 현장에서 지도하는 방법을 제시하였다. Children's song which are taught in classroom of elementary school chiefly come out of music textbook, while great number of children's song have been recently composed. According to the change of generations, we meet the demands of the times also in educational activities of music lesson. Viewed from this angle, it is important to choose impartially new songs as teaching materials in music class. When teachers are intending to deal with these new songs in public school, there are great problems how to introduce them. The purpose of this study is to highlight main aspects of receiving recent children's songs that have been published through musical contests about composition of children's song and to provide an alternative framework for taking advantage of them in classroom. This paper thus attempts to outline methodical models of handling new children's songs in elementary school. In exploring the question of teaching method which includes choosing songs as teaching materials, this paper demonstrates three lesson plans for fifth and sixth grades applying systematical frames. There are three viewpoints to be regarded, so that teaching integrated arts, interpreting music in social context, and making full use of human senses, in order to materialize instruction for the whole man and improve the quality of life.

맥락적 감상을 위한 지도방안 연구: 중학교 3학년을 중심으로

본 연구는 중학교 3학년 감상수업에 있어서 제 7차 개정 음악과 교육과정에서 요구하고 있는 사회적, 문화적 측면에서의 맥락적 감상에 대한 지도 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 엘리엇의 음악의 ‘맥락적 감상’을 이해하고 실제적인 현장 학습에 적용될 수 있는 수업 모형을 개발하여 음악 작품의 사회, 문화, 음악적 접근단계와 다양한 교수법을 통한 교수, 학습 활동으로 음악의 깊이 있는 경험과 이해를 도모하고 기존의 수동적인 감상수업에서 탈피하여 학생 중심의 효율적이고 적극적인 참여를 유도하는 보다 흥미로운 감상 수업 지도방안을 제시하는 데에 있다. The purpose of this study is to provide the curriculum of Music Listening Class for 9th grade students based on David Elliot's ‘Contextual Approaches'. This study investigates the concept of 'Music Listening in Context' and suggests three aspects of contextual approaches in music listening, which are, 1) Historical and social approaches 2) Cultural approaches 3) Musical approaches. In these approaches, this study provides lesson plans and guidelines of various repertoire including church music in the Middle Ages, Impressionism in Romantic period music, and Jazz music in the 20th century. The curriculum also focused on students' spontaneous and active involvement through ICT( Information Communication Technology) and Cooperative learning strategies. Through this study, students can participate in music listening more enthusiastically and understand the musical works effectively and profoundly.
