오늘날 국제화 세계화 시대에 번역은 서로 다른 언어를 가진 나라들이 상호 소통하는 데 매개체 역할을 하고 있다. 번역을 통한 문학 교류는 한 나라의 문화를 다른 나라에 효과적으로 전파시키고 이해시킬 수 있는 유력한 수단이 되고 있다. 한국 아동문학 역시 해외 독자들에게 여러 언어로 번역 소개되고 있지만, 아직까지 수입 도서에 비해 수출되는 도서는 극히 미비하다. 결국 한국 아동문학의 적극적인 수출을 위해, 한국 아동문학의 해외로 번역된 현황과 특성 연구가 선행되어야 한다는 점에서 본 논문은 출발하였다. 그 결과 영어권의 경우 창작동화는 판타지 세계를 배경으로 하는 작품이, 그림책은 한국적인 문화와 정서를 느낄 수 있는 작품이 번역되었다. 불어권은 ??고양이 학교??가 선풍적인 인기를 끌면서 창작동화 가운데 단연 두드러진 추세였다. ??고양이 학교??가 인기를 끌면서 한국의 다른 작품에도 관심을 끌게 되었고 이후 한국적인 풍습과 세계를 담고 있는 작품들이 번역되었다. 일어권은 이전에는 그림책에 관심을 보이다가 이후 차츰 창작동화에 관심을 보였다. 창작동화는 일본이라는 나라가 처한 환경적인 영향으로 어려움에 있는 주인공들이 역경을 이겨내고 성공하는 희망을 주제로 한 작품이 많이 번역되었다. 세 언어권을 중심으로 해외에 번역된 한국 아동문학은 한국적인 문화와 정서를 담은 것이 특징적이다. 하지만 한국에 수입되는 도서에 비하면, 수출되는 도서는 극히 미비하다. 따라서 보다 많은 작가의 다양한 작품들이 해외로 번역되는 것이 급선무이다. 하지만 가장 한국적인 것이 가장 세계적이라는 명제에 빠져서 한국적인 것만을 주제로 한 작품 소개는 피해야 한다. 결국 한국 아동문학의 해외 번역이 활성화되기 위해서는 한국적인 고유성과 상대 국가의 취향을 고려한 번역이 되어야 할 것이다. In this age of globalization, translation works as very important medium to help communication between countries which use different languages. Exchanges in literature via translation are becoming powerful measures to help disseminating and understanding one country"s culture to the other effectively. Korean"s juvenile literature also introduced many translated languages, but still imported books have taken up a lot of space compared to exported books. This thesis is started with the concept that we should study status and character of exported books first, for the more energetic exportation in Korean"s juvenile literature. Consequently, in Englishspeaking countries, the fantasy based created children"s books and picture books which reflect the Korean culture and spirit are translated. In Francophone countries, ??School for cats??gained sensational popularity with readers. It was definitely remarkable in exported created children"s book. Thank you for the popularity of ??School for cats??, Francophone countries are starting to get interest in Korean"s book. As a result many korean atmosphere books are translated. In Japan, they are interested in picture books at first, but started to get interest in created children"s books later. Because of their own environment, particular kind of books are translated which have a story of one character who gets through all the difficulties and finally has a successful life. Distinctively, exported Korean juvenile literature reflects Korean"s culture and spirit. But still, compared to imported books, the percentage of exported books is really inadequate. Thus it"s really urgent to translate the various writers’ diverse stories, but we should not be obsessed with the concept that we always have to write the story based on Korean culture. In the end, to get our books exported actively, we have to consider Korean characteristics identity and other country"s taste.

본고는 `언어형식-대상-생각`의 관계가 한정된 `명사구+{동사/형용사}` 구성을 어휘적 덩어리표현으로 정하고 그 언어형식에서 일어나는 구성요소의 유의어대치 현상에 초점을 두어서 유형화·항목화를 시도했고 정한 항목을 일어권 학습자를 대상으로 하는 한국어 교육에 응용하는 학습 자료를 마련했다. 유형화에 있어서는 구성요소의 대치 현상(유의관계)에 초점을 두었다. 즉 구성요소에 유의어 대치가 일어나지 않고 <언어형식 수+:대상 수=1:1-6>의 관계를 지니는 유형을 `고정적 덩어리표현`, 구성요소에 대치 현상이 일어나고 <언어형식:대상=2∼15:1>의 관계를 지니는 유형을 `유동적 덩어리표현`으로 유형화했다. 항목 설정에 있어서는 일본에서 실시되는`「한글」능력검정시험` 응시용 자료(2011)에 게재된 덩어리표현을 분석 대상으로 삼아 그 자료에 게재된 덩어리표현을 유형 별로 분류했다. 교육 방안으로 `바꿔 표현하기` 학습을 제시했고 학습자에게 다양한 언어형식을 접하게 함으로써 덩어리표현을 사용할 수 있는 경험을 제공하는 학습 자료안을 마련했다. 한국어 교육이 `제2의 한국어 화자`를 양성하는 것이 최종 목표임을 감안할 때 학습자로 하여금 `언어형식-대상-생각`의 관계를 익히는 교육 자료 및 방안을 마련해 나갈 필요가 있다. This paper focuses on the frequently used < noun+verb/adjective > Korean idiomatic expression. Idiomatic expressions that have a “linguistic form- referent-concept” relationship were defined as “lexical chunk expressions.” Korean chunk expressions were typified focusing on the synonym relationship of word components, and some teaching methods that apply to Korean language education in Japan were examined. First, the quantification of idiomatic phrase definitions in the < linguistic form:referent > form was considered. Some chunk expressions have a < linguistic form:referent=1:1~6 > relationship and are called “fixed chunk expressions.” In contrast, there are expressions that have a < linguistic form:referent=2~15:1 > relationship and are called “fluid chunk expressions.” Next, a reflection learning material that replaces words and makes different linguistic forms was discussed. One goal of this material is to make learners consider the “linguistic form -referent-concept” relationship of Korean chunk expressions and improve their Korean language ability by allowing them to learn various expressions. As one goal of Korean language education is to train learners to speak like native speakers, teachers should search for educational methods and materials by which foreign learners can understand and utilize the “linguistic form-referent-concept” relationship.
