본 연구는 만 3, 4, 5세 유아를 대상으로 동화를 중심으로 놀이성에 바탕을 둔 활동을 전개해 나가도록고안된 유아 흡연위해예방교육 프로그램을 실행하고, 유아의 흡연위해예방에 관한 지식, 기술, 태도의 변화에미치는 효과성을 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 동화중심 유아흡연위해예방교육 프로그램을 실시한실험집단 유아 110명과 이를 실시하지 않은 비교집단 유아 80명에 대한 유아흡연위해예방능력 평가척도사전⋅사후검사 점수를 비교하여 분석하는 이질통제집단 전후검사설계방법을 적용하였다. 분석결과, 유아흡연위해예방교육 내용요소를 바탕으로 제작된 5편의 동화 및 이와 연계된 다양한 활동을 경험한 실험집단유아들의 사후총점이 기존의 유아흡연위해 관련영상 및 자유놀이자료만 제시된 비교집단 유아들의 사후총점에 비해 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 ‘동화중심 유아흡연위해예방교육 프로그램’의 효과성을검증하였음을 의미한다. 이를 통해 앞으로 유아가 건강한 삶을 영위할 수 있도록, 흡연 및 흡연자에 대한올바른 인식을 가지고 미래의 흡연 진입을 예방함과 동시에 직⋅간접 흡연위해예방 기술을 익히는 데 도움이되기 위해서는, 본 연구에서 적용한 동화중심 유아흡연위해예방교육이 더욱 확산되고 지속적으로 적용될수 있도록 현장 교사를 대상으로 하는 교사교육의 실행 및 다양한 놀이자료의 개발이 요청된다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of a smoking-risk preventative program using fairy tale stories for young children aged 3 to 5 and explore changes in their knowledge, skills, and attitudes of smoking. 110 young children of an experiemntal group participated in the designed preventive program and 80 other children participated in a general smoking-risk program as a control group. The program was designed for young children to experience various activities related to 5 fairy tale stories about smoking harms. The study applied a pre- and post-examination test for the heterogeneity control group, which compares and analyzes pre- and post-test scores on the smoking-risk preventative ability assessment scale. The results of the study showed that the post-total scores of the experimental group that experienced the smoking-risk preventative program were significantly higher than those of the control group, which presented the effectiveness of the program. It was discussed that teachers need to utilize a variety of play materials including fairy tale stories and develop their practices to help young children live their healthy lives and have a right awareness of smoking.

본 연구는 유아 흡연예방교육을 위한 교사교육 프로그램 개발을 목적으로 한다 프로그램 개발을 위해 문헌고찰 및 유아 교사를 대상으로 한 요구도 조사를 실시하여 최종적으로 차시로 구성된 프로그램을 개발하였다 차시는 유아 흡연예방교육의 소개 및 유아 흡연예방교육의 이론적 개념으로 구성되 었으며 이를 토대로 차시에서는 현장 적용을 위한 실제적인 안내를 제공하고자 하였다 구체적으로 차시에서는 누리과정과 연계한 유아 흡연예방교육의 실제에 대해 알아보고 차시에서는 가정과의 연계방법에 대해 탐색해 보도록 하였다 본 프로그램에서는 강의 토론 발표 협동학습 워크숍 및 동영상 시청 등의 다양한 교수학습 방법을 활용하였으며 평가를 위해 저널쓰기 계획안 작성 브레인스토밍 역할극 등을 통해 학습자 간 교육내용을 재구성 및 공유할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 하였다 본 연구는 유아 교사를 위한 흡연예방교육 프로그램을 제공하였다는 점에서 의의를 가지며 본 프로 그램을 통해 유아 흡연예방교육 프로그램 운영을 위한 유아 교사의 역량이 증진될 것으로 기대된다 The purpose of this study was to develop the early childhood teacher training program for the smoking prevention education. The program was developed through the review of relevant literature and the survey of the teachers’ needs on the program, which was conducted with 278 early childhood teachers. The program is composed of five sessions. Sessions 1 and 2 include the introduction and the theoretical concepts of the smoking prevention education for young children. Sessions 3, 4 and 5 cover the practical guidelines for teachers. In particular, sessions 3 and 4 deal with the integration of the smoking prevention program into Nuri Curriculum. Session 5 shows the ways to bring home as a partner of this program. In terms of the teaching-learning methods, we use lectures, discussions, presentations, cooperative learning, workshops, and watching video clip. For the evaluation, we adopt self-checklists, role-plays, journals, lesson plans, brainstorming and individual feedback. This study is significant in that it provides the smoking prevention education program specified for the early childhood teachers. We expect this program would strengthen the capability of the early childhood teachers for running the smoking prevention education program.

유아 흡연예방교육을 위한 교사 교육프로그램의 시범 적용 및 효과

본 연구는 유아 흡연예방교육을 위해 시범 적용한 교사 교육프로그램의 효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구의 대상은 전국 유아교육기관 교사 242명이며, 프로그램의 시범적용은 2016년 11월 1일부터 11월 25일에 실시되었다. 프로그램의 효과를 살피기 위해 사용된 설문지는 교사의 지식, 태도, 실천을 측정하는 문항으로 구성되어 있으며, 관련문헌을 바탕으로 연구진이 제작하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 교사 교육프로그램은 교사의 유아 흡연예방교육의 지식, 태도, 실천 수준을 모두 향상시켰다. 둘째, 프로그램의 효과를 교사의 개인변인별로 살펴보면, 교사 교육프로그램은 교사의 학력, 경력에 상관없이 지식, 태도, 실천 수준을 향상시켰다. 셋째, 교사의 기관변인별로 살펴보면, 교사 교육프로그램은 기관유형과 교사의 담당학급에 상관없이 지식, 태도, 실천의 수준을 향상시켰다. 본 연구의 결과는 개발된 교사 교육프로그램이 교사의 개인변인 및 기관변인과 상관없이 유아흡연예방교육에 대한 교사의 지식, 태도, 실천 수준 향상에 효과가 있음을 의미한다. 이를 통해 유아교사의 흡연예방교육에 대한 역량 증진을 위해 유아 흡연예방 교사 교육의 지속적인 시행이 필요함을 시사하였다. This study aimed to develop a teacher training program for smoking prevention education for young children and verify its effects. For the study, 242 early childhood teachers responded to a survey questionnaire which examines teachers’ knowledge, attitude, and practice for smoking prevention education. The results revealed that teachers’ knowledge, attitude and practice improved through the training program . Secondly, in terms of individual variables, teachers’ knowledge, attitude and practice improved regardless of their educational backgrounds and years of teaching experiences. Thirdly, in terms of institutional variables, teachers’ knowledge, attitude and practice improved regardless of the types of the institutions and the class levels in charge. The results of this study imply that teacher education is necessary for the effective operation of smoking prevention education for young children.
