라이시안 페이딩 채널환경에서 IEEE 802.11a 무선 LAN의 DCF 처리율

본 논문애서는 IEEE 802.11a 무선 LAN에서 주파수 선택적이고 완만하게 변하는 Ricean 페이딩 채널환경을 고려하여 $E_{b}/N_{o}$ 및 BER에 따른 MAC(Medium Access Control) 계층의 CSMA/CA 기반 DCF(Distributed Coordination Function) 처리율을 분석하였다. 또한 처리율을 분석하는 데 단말수 및 MSDU(MAC SDU) 크기도 고려하였으며 IEEE 802.11a의 필수 전송속도인 6, 12, 24Mbps 및 54Mbps급에 대하여 검토한 결과 $E_{b}/N{o}$가 증가할 수록 BER이 감소할수록 처리율은 증가한다는 것을 알 수 있다. This paper explores the throughput performance of CSMA/CA-based DCF protocol over frequency-selective, slow Ricean fading channels with both the $E_{b}/N_{o}$ and BER at the MAC layer in the 802.1 la wireless LAN. By exploring the throughput of DCF protocol with the data rate of 6Mbps, 12 Mbps, 24 Mbps and 54 Mbps, we find the fact that the higher the $E_{b}/N_{o}$ be and the less the BER be, the higher the throughput be.

우리나라는 국가통계체제는 고속성장이라는 국가적 과제와 발전의 궤를 같이 하면서 필요할 때마다 관련 통계를 만들어 왔으며 이로 인해 기초통계가 체계적으로 균형 있게 발전해오지 못한 한계를 지니고 있다. 변화하는 경제사회 환경에 맞추어 필요통계를 발굴해내는 수요체계 파악, 국제기구의 통계와의 정합성 제고, 유사중복통계 작성 방지, 통계인력의 전문성 제고 등 구조적 문제를 해결하기 위한 법적 및 실질적 운영상의 개선 노력이 필요하다. 국가통계 총괄 조정기능 강화하고 실천력이 전제되는 거버넌스 구조를 위해 통계청을 차관급인 처나 장관급 행정부로 격상시키고 통계기관장을 임기제로 하고 공모를 통하여 선정해야 한다. 행정자료의 활용도 제고를 위한 대통령직속위원회의 신설, 민간 통계생산기관과의 협력강화, 지방자치단체의 통계역량 제고, 자료처리센터의 설치, 마이크로데이터의 공동 활용 시스템 설치 등도 시급한 과제들이다. National statistical system in Korea has developed along with national economic agenda such as a government oriented high economic growth and has formed to a typical diversified statistical system. While the national statistics have been produced whenever they are needed, they are facing the critics that production of basic statistics were lack of balance. Grasping the statistical demand properly, enhancing the statistical concurrence with international organization, preventing the production of overlapped and similar statistics, and improving the professionalism of manpower in statistical industry are the structural problems that Korean statistical system has to get over. It is important to strengthen the coordination mechanism and the governance structure of the national statistical system to level up the integrity and credibility of statistical program. The length of Chief Statistician's tenure need to be assured.
