        This study focused on the fact that Food Art Therapy and Wellness are in common with each other, and their ultimate purpose is the process, content, and result that human beings pursue for the best existence, and presented a reasonable grounds for that. The process of reaching the practical direction and the orientation point was based on the wisdom of the Enneagram to be more clear and systematic. The wisdom of the Enneagram guides humans to realize the laws that dominate them and tells them how and procedures to be free from them. In the process, the process of Food Art Therapy and Wellness can meet delicately necessary elements. In conclusion, it is expected that multidisciplinary integrated application of Food Art Therapy, Wellness, Enneagram (Enneagram-based integrated Counseling and Healing) will be proposed and mutually beneficial synergy effect will be obtained through this. Furthermore if they continue to utilize their strengths, they can convert the stagnation or descent spiral of the developmental level into the upward spiral, and if this happens, it will have a considerable meaning and value in Epigenetics.

      • 생명, 자원 그리고 치유의 맥(脈), 푸드아트테라피

        This study is a partially revised and supplemented version of what was presented as part of the keynote lecture of “Food Art Therapy(FAT) for Life, Resources, and Healing”, which is the theme of the annual conference of the Korean Food Art Therapy Society in 2021. In this study, life encompasses not only human life as a microcosm but also macrocosm, that is, all environmental factors necessary for living. Therefore, all components of the universe are applicable, and at same time, they are also resources. Healing is necessary in terms of recovery when a living organism loses its balance due to prolonged excessive unnaturalness. Now, the earth, one of the components of the universe, is too polluted, so it cannot maintain its naturalness, and it is in trouble such as global warming. There are many people who suffer from loss of mental and physical balance as well. Therefore, FAT has firmly opened the way of healing, and furthermore, it has suggested a plan to enhance its status as a national therapy and to benefit the mother country and neighboring countries of multi-cultural families. In particular, I sought the application and development direction of FAT according to the five components of “Integrated Counseling and Healing Model of Multidisciplinary Perspectives”, which solved the study, education, and research journey that has been in the field of counseling, healing, meditation, and spirituality for nearly 35 years with the wisdom of enneagrams. I hope that this perspective of convergence will work reciprocally in both models and lead to synergy, and become a beneficial means and method for more people.

      • 푸드아트테라피를 적용한 ADD아동의 상담사례연구

        This study is to prove its effectiveness by applying Food Art Therapy to 8-year-old child complaining of ADD symptoms. 30 individual counseling sessions of Food Art Therapy with meditation were conducted, and parental rating scale and EEG measurements by pre- and post-test were measured. As a result, following findings were revealed. First, problem behaviors were significantly reduced, and second, theta waves among EEG were decreased. Therefore, in the case of ADD child with attention deficit disorder, it is judged that the problem behavior can be improved by increasing emotional stability and self-confidence while selective focusing while performing Food Art Therapy activities repeatedly. In order not to become chronic due to adult ADHD, it is necessary to find a plan to continuously maintain the effect by conducting parental training in the future.

      • 푸드아트테라피를 적용한 개별상담 사례연구

        This study conducted individual counseling for daycare directors using food art therapy with the intention to enhance their emotional well-being. For the research, directors of home and daycare centers located in city M, Jeollanam-do were recruited. 15 individual counseling sessions were conducted for each, and qualitative and quantitative analyses were performed. During the qualitative analysis, changes in their cognition, emotion, and behavior were examined, while anxiety and depression were examined in pre and post-tests and subsequent tests for the quantitative analysis. The analysis results are summarized as follows: The participants showed a gradual psychological changes in the cognitive, emotional and behavioral areas by the phase of FAT counseling and session. They showed self-awareness and insight at the phase of “work activity,” challenged and restructured their obstacles from the tenth session, and started to show reduction in the excessive imbalance among cognition, emotion, and behavior. The quantitative analysis also found that their anxiety and depression decreased, with the level of depression significantly decreasing. This tendency was consistent in the subsequent tests.

      • FAT정서조절 프로그램이 학령기 아동의 분노조절과 자기효능감에 미치는 효과

        아동과 청소년은 생활의 중심이 가정에서 학교 로 이동하게 되고, 다양한 사회적 관계를 형성해 나간다. 아동과 청소년에게 있어서 자기조절은 자 기효능감을 증진시키고 긍정적인 자아개념을 형 성하는 중요한 역할을 한다. 자기조절을 못하는 청소년은 학업성취가 낮고, 정서 및 사회적으로 부적응적이고 충동적이며 공격적인 행동 경향을 보이며, 폭력을 행사하거나 반사회적 행동을 보일 가능성이 높다. 더구나 이러한 특징들은 성인기까 지 지속될 수 있으므로 청소년의 자기조절이 더 욱 중요하게 다루어져야 한다(Mischel, Shoda & Peake, 1988, 이명진, 2011, 재인용).

      • 자살에 노출된 노인의 정서안정을 위한 푸드아트테라피 사례연구

        This study is an example of applying food art therapy to the elderly exposed to suicide. The purpose of this study is to find out the emotional stability and reduce depression through the practice of foot art therapies of 70 elderly women in M city, and implement therapy to improve adaptability to daily life with positive interpersonal life. To test the efficacy of the treatment, depression scale and interpersonal scale were administered. This study was a total of 21 sessions, from February 2017 to July 2017, for sessions in a welfare institution individual room for 50 minutes per session. To the results of the study, we analyzed the contents of each session and compared the results of BDI and interpersonal test. In the early days, we were met with high emotional instability and depression. In addition, she were exposed to suicide in the absence of interaction with their neighbors in daily life. She complained about difficulties in interpersonal relationships and did not want to participate in outside activities. Through the food art therapy, we were able to open the door of the mind gradually breaking of the framework which was trapped in the darkness, showing a change in attitudes toward the neighbor and acceptance of the neighbor and inviting to drink tea. In addition, negative thoughts could be changed more positively, accepting oneself and getting psychological presence of positive self. In the latter period, she talked about her children and family would be good. The results of this study are as follows: In the case of food art therapy, the client was depressed and the closed emotions were decreased. This program will be effective to carry out a mass food art therapy for more elderly clients.
