      • A Lexical and Syntactic Analysis System for Chinese Electronic Medical Record

        Zhipeng Jiang,Xue Dai,Yi Guan,Fangfang Zhao 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.9 No.9

Lexical and syntactic analysis, including word segmentation, part-of-speech (POS) tagging, shallow parsing and full parsing, are essential for medical language processing (MLP). However, research on full parsing, even shallow parsing and POS tagging for Chinese electronic medical record (CEMR), has not been carried out because of the lack of annotated corpus on CEMR. In this paper, we built a corpus of 5,024 sentences from CEMR with word segmentation, POS tags and phrase tags, of them, 2,553 are annotated as full parsing trees. Inter-annotator agreement results: Chinese word segmentation (97.56%), POS tagging (93.34%), shallow parsing (96.5%), full parsing (91.22%). A lexical and syntactic analysis system for CEMR is developed and evaluated based on above corpus. Of its components, we proposed a joint model for word segmentation and POS tagging with the transformation-based error-driven model as correction postprocessing to alleviate the problem of error accumulation, the F1-score of word segmentation and POS tagging were 94.39% and 93.2%, respectively. A shallow parsing model under the framework of group learning we proposed was developed, which enriched word features by word embedding from large unlabeled CEMRs and achieved the F1-score of 96.3%. At last, we presented a state-of-art full parser combining the Berkeley parser and the Stanford parser to outperform the best single parser by 3.68%. The evaluation results show a substantial benefit to statistical machine learning models from the annotated CEMR. These works are the foundation for natural language processing (NLP) technologies applied to CEMR.

Simulated Study on Typical Sources of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) in Indoor Air

        Dai, Shugui,Bai, Zhipeng,Zhu, Tan,Zhang, Lin 한국분석과학회 1995 분석과학 Vol.8 No.4

In this paper, several simulated devices were constructed for determining components of organic vapors emitting from decorative materials, daily use chemicals and from common behavior of human beings, such as smoking and cooking. The VOCs were preconcentrated on activated carbon and then desorbed by carbon disulphide. The results were obtained by GC/MS analysis and computer searching. It can be concluded that the categories of the sources and the components of organic vapors in indoor air are very complicated, and different sources of VOCs in indoor air have their own emission characteristics.

The Analysis of VOCs by GC/MS with Whole Column Coldtrapping on a Fused Silica Capillary Column in Indoor Environment

        Dai, Shugui,Zhang, Lin,Bai, Zhipeng 한국분석과학회 1995 분석과학 Vol.8 No.4

Whole column coldtrapping(WCC) on a fused silica capillary (FSCC)combined with GC/MS analysis was evaluated for use in the investigation of volatile organic compounds(VOCs) in indoor air. Research had indicated that a temperature of $-80^{\circ}C$ is optimal for WCC. Samples were analyzed on a $50m{\times}0.2mm$ cross-linked 5% phenylmethylsilicone fused silica column. Liquid nitrogen was used as the coolant for the peak resolution significantly. The analysis can be performed quickly and conveniently. More than 112 of VOCs were determined in the samples from three typical indoor environment including: (1) a room which had just been decorated involving building materials and paints; (2)a kitchen used for Chinese cooking, and (3) a room had tobacco smoke. The method is could be readily applied to rapid sample screening for VOCs contamination surveys or initial investigations with its valid and simple sampling and analytical technique.

Effects of Hydrodynamic Disturbance on Vegetation Development in Coastal Salt Marshes: A Model Study in Jiangsu, China

        Chen Zhipeng,Luo Feng,Zeng Jingwei,Dai Jiancheng,Zhou Guanghuai,Li Ruijie 한국해양과학기술원 2023 Ocean science journal Vol.58 No.1

Salt marshes are now known to improve coastal safety by attenuating waves and stabilizing the bed. Meanwhile, for salt marsh conservatin and restoration, a great deal of research has been done on the establishment mechanism of vegetation in salt marshes. However, research on the efects of hydrodynamic disturbance on the development of salt marsh vegetation is limited. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how the hydro-morphodynamic process afects the establishment and expansion of plants in salt marshes and to simulate the establishment process. First, we used a 2D fnite-element model to simulate hydro-morphodynamics in the selected tidal fat in Jiangsu, China. We then defned the variables describing the frequency and magnitude of hydrodynamic disturbance and quantifed the efects of disturbance on plant establishment using Spearman correlation coefcients. Finally, the vegetation development process was further analyzed using a logistic regression model, and the vegetation development in the study area was simulated from 2017 to 2021. The results show that salt marsh vegetation colonization has a relatively high correlation with fooding time and bed shear stress (ρ>0.6), and bed shear stress is the main hydrodynamic disturbance parameter limiting further expansion of salt marsh vegetation. The method combining hydrodynamic modeling and logistic regression has the potential to be used to identify hydrodynamic disturbances in future salt marsh restoration and management processes and to help design appropriate restoration measures.

A Source Code Cross-site Scripting Vulnerability Detection Method

        Mu Chen,Lu Chen,Zhipeng Shao,Zaojian Dai,Nige Li,Xingjie Huang,Qian Dang,Xinjian Zhao 한국인터넷정보학회 2023 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.17 No.6

To deal with the potential XSS vulnerabilities in the source code of the power communication network, an XSS vulnerability detection method combining the static analysis method with the dynamic testing method is proposed. The static analysis method aims to analyze the structure and content of the source code. We construct a set of feature expressions to match malignant content and set a "variable conversion" method to analyze the data flow of the code that implements interactive functions. The static analysis method explores the vulnerabilities existing in the source code structure and code content. Dynamic testing aims to simulate network attacks to reflect whether there are vulnerabilities in web pages. We construct many attack vectors and implemented the test in the Selenium tool. Due to the combination of the two analysis methods, XSS vulnerability discovery research could be conducted from two aspects: “white-box testing” and “black-box testing”. Tests show that this method can effectively detect XSS vulnerabilities in the source code of the power communication network.

Hypermethylation of Frizzled1 is associated with Wnt/β-catenin signaling inactivation in mesenchymal stem cells of patients with steroid-associated osteonecrosis

        Zhibo Sun,Jing Jiao,Feng Liu,Yue Yang,Shanfeng Zhang,Zhenhua Fang,Zhipeng Dai,Zhibo Sun 생화학분자생물학회 2019 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.51 No.-

The Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway is associated with the pathogenesis of steroid-induced osteonecrosis. Our investigation studied whether aberrant CpG island hypermethylation of the FZD1 gene was present in patients with osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH), which results in Wnt/β-catenin signaling inactivation and subsequent cell dysfunction. Bone marrow was collected from the proximal femurs of patients with steroid-associated ONFH (n = 21) and patients with new femoral neck fractures (n = 22), and then mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were isolated. We investigated cell viability, the transcription and translation levels of Wnt/β-catenin signaling-related genes, the extent of methylation at CpG islands of the FZD1 promoter, and the osteogenic and adipogenic differentiation abilities of MSCs from the control group and from the ONFH group treated with or without 5′-Aza-dC. According to the results, MSCs from the ONFH group showed a reduced proliferation ability, low transcription and translation levels of FZD1, inhibition of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, weakened osteogenesis and enhanced adipogenesis ability. Aberrant CpG island hypermethylation of FZD1 was observed in the ONFH group. Treatment with 5’-Aza-dC resulted in de novo FZD1 expression, reactivation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and promotion of osteogenesis. Taken together, our study not only provides novel insights into the regulation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway in this disease but also reveals potential for the use of demethylating agents for the treatment of GC-associated ONFH.

MiR-17-5p modulates osteoblastic differentiation and cell proliferation by targeting SMAD7 in non-traumatic osteonecrosis

        Jie Jia,Xiaobo Feng,Weihua Xu,Shu-Hua Yang,Qing Zhang,Xianzhe Liu,Yong Feng,Zhipeng Dai 생화학분자생물학회 2014 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.46 No.-

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have recently been recognized to have a role in human orthopedic disorders. The objective of our study was to explore the expression profile and biological function of miRNA-17-5p (miR-17-5p), which is well known to be related to cancer cell proliferation and invasion, in osteoblastic differentiation and in cell proliferation. The expression levels of miR-17- 5p in the femoral head mesenchymal stem cells of 20 patients with non-traumatic osteonecrosis (ON) and 10 patients with osteoarthritis (OA) were examined by quantitative reverse transcription-PCR (qRT–PCR). Furthermore, the interaction between miR-17-5p and SMAD7 was observed. We found that in non-traumatic ON samples the level of mature miR-17-5p wassignificantly lower than that of OA samples (P¼0.0002). By targeting SMAD7, miR-17-5p promoted nuclear translocation of b-catenin, enhanced expression of COL1A1 and finally facilitated the proliferation and differentiation of HMSC-bm cells. We also demonstrated that restoring expression of SMAD7 in HMSC-bm cells partially reversed the function of miR-17-5p. Together, our data suggested a theory that dysfunction of a network containing miR-17-5p, SMAD7 and b-catenin could contribute to ON pathogenesis. The present study prompts the potential clinical value of miR-17-5p in non-traumatic ON.
