A Co-design Study of Filters and Oscillator for Low Phase Noise and High Harmonic Rejection
Bing Zhang,Wenmei Zhang,Runbo Ma,Xiaowei Zhang,Junfa Mao 한국전자통신연구원 2008 ETRI Journal Vol.30 No.2
In this paper, we present a novel oscillator (OSC) design. Bandpass filters, which can suppress harmonics, are incorporated into a co-design with an OSC to improve the OSC phase noise and harmonic rejection. The proposed OSC/bandpass filter co-design achieves a phase noise of - 130.1 dBc/Hz/600 kHz and harmonic rejection of 37.94 dB and 40.85 dB for the second and third harmonics, respectively, as compared to results achieved by the OSC before co-design of - 101.6 dBc/Hz/600 kHz and 21.28 dB and 19.68 dB. Good agreement between the measured and simulated results is achieved.

Zhang, Bin,Zhou, Ai-Fen,Zhu, Chang-Cai,Zhang, Ling,Xiang, Bing,Chen, Zhong,Hu, Rong-Hua,Zhang, Ya-Qi,Qiu, Lin,Zhang, Yi-Ming,Xiong, Chao-Du,Du, Yu-Kai,Shi, Yu-Qin Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2013 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.14 No.12
Cervical cancer is a serious public health problem in developing countries. We investigated possible risk factors for cervical cancer in rural areas of Wuhan China using a matched case-control study with 33 women diagnosed with cervical cancer and 132 healthy women selected from the same area as matched controls. A questionnaire, which included questions about general demography conditions, environmental and genetic factors, the first sexual intercourse, first marriage age, age at first pregnancy, pregnancy first child's age, female personal health history, social psychological factors, dietary habits, smoking and alcohol status and other living habits was presented to all participants. At the same time, HPV infection of every participant was examined in laboratory testing. Results showed HPV infection (P<0.000, OR=23.4) and pregnancy first child's age (P<0.000, OR=13.1) to be risk factors for cervical cancer. Menopause (P=0.003, OR=0.073) was a protective factor against cervical cancer. However, there was no indication of associations of environmental (drinking water, insecticide, disinfectant) genetic (cancer family history), or life-style factors (smoking status, alcohol status, physical training, sleep quality), including dietary habits (intake of fruit and vegetable, meat, fried food, bean products and pickled food) or social psychological factors with cervical cancer. The results suggest that the risk of cervical cancer in Chinese rural women may be associated with HPV infection, menopause and the pregnancy first child's age.
Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Technology and Application in China
Zhang, Bing,Tong, Qingxi,Zheng, Lanfen 대한원격탐사학회 2001 International Symposium on Remote Sensing Vol.17 No.1
In recent years, hyperspectral remote sensing has stepped into a new stage in China. There are several advanced hyperspectral imaging systems developed in Chinese. Especially the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) has been playing a very important role in such High-technology developing activities. Pushbroom Hyperspectral Imager (PHI) and Operative Modular Imaging Spectrometer (OMIS) are two types of representative hyperspectral imagers developed by CAS. A hyperspectral digital camera system (HDCS), with limit-number bands but high spectral resolution, was also developed and tested in 2000. Aiming to different observation objects and applications, the spectral wavelength and resolution of HDCS can be easily changed by selecting different interference fiilters. According to these airborne hyperspectral sensors, some data processing and info-extraction models are also developed in China. These models have been widely used in many remote sensing projects, such as precise agriculture, mineral exploration, urban investigation, and so on. In addition, a Hyperspectral Image Processing and Analysis System (HIPAS) software were also developed.

Objective: The current study explored the expression of KAI1/CD82 and MRP1/CD9 and its significance in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC). Methods: The expression levels of KAI1/CD82 and MRP1/CD9 in 100 LSCC tissue specimens, as well as in 30 para-LSCC non-carcinomatous tissue specimens randomly taken from the patients, were assessed using the quantitative polymerase chain reaction (Q-PCR) and immunohistochemistry and correlations with pathological parameters of LSCC and their influence on survival function were analyzed. Results: KAI1/CD82 and MRP1/CD9 showed basically consistent changes in both mRNA and protein expression. Their expression in the 30 LSCC specimens was significantly lower compared with that in the corresponding non-carcinous tissues (P < 0.01 or 0.05), notably correlating with TNM stage, differentiation degree, clinical stage, and lymphatic metastasis (P < 0.01 or 0.05), but not gender, age, and LSCC growth sites (P > 0.05). The median survival of patients with positive KAI1/CD82 and MRP1/CD9 protein expression was longer than that of patients with negative protein expression (P < 0.01 or 0.05). KAI1/CD82 protein expression negatively correlated with MRP1/CD9 protein expression in LSCC (${\chi}^2$= 31.25, P < 0.01). Conclusion: KAI1/CD82 and MRP1/CD9 may jointly participate in the development of LSCC. They may serve as the markers for judging the infiltration, metastasis, and prognosis of LSCC.
Model Predictive Power Control of a PWM Rectifier for Electromagnetic Transmitters
Zhang, Jialin,Zhang, Yiming,Guo, Bing,Gao, Junxia The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2018 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.18 No.3
Model predictive direct power control (MPDPC) is a widely recognized high-performance control strategy for a three-phase grid-connected pulse width modulation (PWM) rectifier. Unlike those of conventional grid-connected PWM rectifiers, the active and reactive powers of permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG)-connected PWM rectifiers, which are used in electromagnetic transmitters, cannot be calculated as the product of voltage and current because the back electromotive force (EMF) of the generator cannot be measured directly. In this study, the predictive power model of the rectifier is obtained by analyzing the relationship among flux, back EMF, active/reactive power, converter voltage, and stator current of the generator. The concept of duty cycle control in the proposed MPDPC is introduced by allocating a fraction of the control period for a nonzero vector and rest time for a zero vector. When nonzero vectors and their duration in the predefined cost function are simultaneously evaluated, the global power ripple minimization is obtained. Simulation and experimental results prove that the proposed MPDPC strategy with duty cycle control for the PMSG-connected PWM rectifier can achieve better control performance than the conventional MPDPC-SVM with grid-connected PWM rectifier.
