본 연구에서는 대상유역을 지표면과 하천 격자로 분할한 후, Manning 식을 기반으로 각 격자 중심에서 유역 출구점까지의 유하시간을 계산하여 등시간별 체적유량을 산정하였으며, 이로부터 유역의 동수역학적 특성인 특성유속을 고려한 직접유출수문 곡선을 도출하였다. 대상유역은 보청천유역의 산성유역을 선정하였다. 대상유역에 대한 매개변수 산정 결과 흐름누적값은 3800, K는 3.3으로 결정되었다. 보정된 매개변수를 실제사상에 대해 적용하여 검증한 결과 첨두유량과 첨두시간의 평균 절대오차는 각각 3.41%, 0.67 hr로 비교적 양호한 모의결과를 나타냈다. 또한 유효우량에 따른 유하시간별 기여면적 주상도를 분석한 결과 본 연구에서 적용된 모형은 강우강도에 따른 유역의 수리학적 특성을 잘 표현하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. In this study, after the target basin was divided into both overland and channel grids, the travel time from center of each grid cell to watershed`s outlet was calculated based on the manning equation. Through this process, volumetric discharge was calculated according to the isochrones and finally, the direct runoff hydrograph was estimated considering watershed`s hydrodynamic characteristics. Sanseong subwatershed located in main stream of Bocheong basin was selected as a target basin. The model parameters are only two: area threshold and channel velocity correction factor; the optimized values were estimated at 3,800 and 3.3, respectively. The developed model based on the tuned parameters led to well-matching results between observed and calculated hydrographs (mean of absolute error of peak discharge: 3.41%, mean of absolute error of peak time: 0.67 hr). Moreover, the analysis results regarding histogram of travel time-contribution area demonstrates that the proposed model characterizes relatively well hydrodynamic characteristics of the catchment due to effective rainfall.

A three dimensional compressible Navier-Stokes code is developed to analyze flowfields and performance of a vaned diffuser in a centrifugal compressor. It employs scalar implicit approximate factorization, finite volume formulation, second order upwind differencing and a two-equation $q-{\omega}$ turbulence model based on the integration to the wall. Pressure recovery and loss coefficients of a vaned diffuser are evaluated using a developed computer code. The simulated three dimensional flows show how through flow structure affects pressure recovery performance and loss coefficients of a vane for design and off-design inlet flow angles. Development of complex three dimensional flow over the inlet region and leading edge are very influential to the overall flow and performance.
악취 Sampling Bag의 황 화합물질 안정성 연구

In this study, stability of 4 sulfur compounds (H<sub>2</sub>S, CH<sub>3</sub>SH, DMS, and DMDS) was investigated for up to 96 h (at 6, 12, 24, 48, 72, and 96 h time points). For these experiments, each sulfur standard was prepared at 10 nmol/mol in a 10 L sampling bag (Teldlar bag). To investigate the stability of the sulfur compounds, regression analysis was applied to the data obtained by the concentration reduction over time at the 95% confidence level. According to regression analysis, the concentration of sulfur compounds in 48 h had statistically significant difference (P-value < 0.05) from stability of 4 sulfur compounds (H<sub>2</sub>S, CH<sub>3</sub>SH, DMS, and DMDS). The results also indicated that the heavy sulfur compounds (DMS and DMDS) tend to show more rapid concentration reduction than lighter sulfur compounds (H<sub>2</sub>S and CH<sub>3</sub>SH). This study can be used to improve the reliability of analysis by judging quantitative concentrations of sulfur compounds when controlling odor-polluted areas.

A minimal-function-approximation-based control approach is presented for the decentralized adaptive tracking of interconnected nonlinear systems consisting of subsystems with unknown control directions. The main contribution of this paper is to solve the utilization difficulty of the Nussbaum function caused by unusable error surfaces in the minimal-approximation-based control framework. The stability of the closed-loop system is rigorously analyzed in the Lyapunov sense and simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm.
Scutellaria baicalensis Inhibits Mast Cell-Mediated Anaphylactic Reactions

비만세포는 즉시형 과민반응과 알레르기성 질환의 발현에 중요한 역할을 한다. 황금은 동양의학에서 전통적으로 널리 사용된 약초로, 약리작용에는 항암, 항바이러스, 항박테리아, 항염증 효과 등이 있다. 그러나, 황금이 비만세포를 매개로 한 아나필락틱 반응에 미치는 영향을 다룬 연구가 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 연구에서 우리는 황금의 메탄올 추출물이 compound 48/80 혹은 anti-DNP IgE에 의한 쥐 모델 아나필락시에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였다. 이러한 결과를 보다 확실히 입증하고자, 비만세포의 히스타민 유리에 초점을 맞춰서 황금이 이들 세포에 대해 억제효과를 보이는지 확인하였다. 황금은 compound 48/80에 의한 전신성 아나필락시양 반응과 그에 따른 혈장 내 히스타민 유리 그리고 귀의 부종반응을 억제하였다. 황금은 또한 anti-DNP IgE에 의해 수동적으로 유도된 전신 및 피부 아나필락시 반응을 억제하였다. 시험관 내 실험에서, 황금은 compound 48/80에 의해 유도된 비만세포의 탈과립을 억제하였으며, compound 48/80 혹은 anti-DNP IgE로 활성화된 비만세포로부터의 히스타민 유리를 감소시켰다. 이외에도 compound 48/80에 의해 유도된 세포 내 칼슘 유입이 황금에 의해 농도의존적으로 억제되었다. 아울러 황금은 일시적으로 비만세포 내 cAMP의 양을 증가시켰다. 이상의 결과들은 황금이 효과적인 항 아나필락틱 활성을 가지고 있음을 제시한다. Mast cells play a critical role in the effector phase of immediate hypersensitivity and allergic diseases. Scutellaria baicalensis is a widely used herb in traditional oriental medicine with anticancer, antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. However, the roles of Scutellaria baicalensis in mast cell-mediated anaphylactic reactions have not fully been investigated. In this study, we examined the influences of the methanol extract of Scutellaria baicalensis (MESB) on compound 48/80- or anti-dinitrophenyl (DNP) IgE-induced anaphylaxis-like response in vivo. To further prove these in vivo results, the inhibitory effect of MESB on mast cell activation was evaluated, focusing on the histamine release from rat peritoneal mast cells (RPMC). MESB inhibited compound 48/80-induced systemic anaphylaxis-like reaction, plasma histamine release and ear swelling response in mice. MESB also attenuated passive systemic and cutaneous anaphylaxis evoked by anti-DNP IgE. In in vitro experiments, MESB dose-dependently reduced histamine release from RPMC activated by compound 48/80 or anti-DNP IgE. Moreover, compound 48/80-elicited calcium uptake was suppressed in a concentration-dependent manner of MESB. Furthermore, MESB transiently increased the level of intracellular cAMP. From these results, it is suggested that MESB possesses effective anti-anaphylactic activity.
